ey it works when ur sim card isnt working on ur phone, a bit laggy but this is rlly good so uhhh...theres ADs now 💔 ik ur just trying to get money but it becomes a problem when im on call, ADs non stop are playing and I cant mute them at all or pause them..

The worst!! Poor technical support, I meant the worst! After several downloads and re-downloads and literally hair curling ridiculous amounts of time being wasted going back and forth emailing they are still unable to resolve a sign in issue. "it's your phone", "it's Google", "it's the weather"... ect... Needless to say I've moved on to another free app and I recommend you do the same.

Don't bother with actually using the phone. The app plays ads at a volume so loud that you can't communicate with the other caller. The texting is really the only reason it receives 3 stars

well honestly their textfree I really want to know and get to the bottom of this the app is okay for the most part my matter of concern is concerned is that the app takes very long for me to delete my first old number and get a second new number 15 days in between this very very too long app yes app cell phone text and talk app what is the medical term that I have heard through multiple people speaking up on that the default in between to get a new number and delete the old number wait so long

u gotta pay 4.99 weekly or the ads pop up every 2 seconds which is super annoying and when u do pay calls are not the best with reception u can't hear them or they can't hear u about 90 percent of the time.

Awesome App The Problem I had was not because of the app it was my phone that was the problem Textfree is working great for my phone after I figured out what the problem was For some reason after I turned off the Wi-Fi when I'm at home my phone calls & sounds work that's why when I was outside it worked I could hear and answer any phone calls and text messages now I can see and hear all of my phone calls and text messages now!

A101 error trying to register. Tried multiple times resetting cache and signing up just for continuous errors. App doesn't work.

It's a much better App than TextNow, because TextNow has multiple people attached to the same Phone Number. My friend had TextNow & we had other people on there responding to our text messages. We threatened TextNow with a Lawsuit & Sent Those Text's & Phone Call's over to the FTC & FCC. If you mess up like TextNow & Overlap phone numbers with other people, I will contact the FTC & FCC. As A Disabled American Veteran I Never Stood For Ignorance, I Report Fraud.

Very good app. It works just like any other phone service.

I've been UNABLE to talk at all really. I get voicemails after a while and text/voicemail. I can only get 32 seconds into a call and it drops. I am wondering why I could talk anytime/anywhere, to anyone/network...BUT, NOW...32 SECONDS is "IT"... anyway. Bummer:)

I have been using this app for YEARS. NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN Can't use app because of Ad Blocker. No where in YOUR DESCRIPTION does it say you can't have an Ad Blocker on your phone. I have had an ad Blocker on my phone since I purchased it. very good app use as extra number and way to call wireless company if more like when wireless company screws up my payment and I can't call them with phone do I have this app on old phone and it's life saver. it would be great if you could go a little longer without using your number with losing it and having to get a new number

I LOVE this app. Sometimes it may drop a call or have a rocky connection but that happens with every app but this one is free and the good outweighs the bad hands down. Text Free is my go to!

app only sends text messages when the owners want it seems. they disable ur calling and texting privileges for some unknown reason at moments when u need to use the text and calling the most. seems like they know when u gotta use it and disable the features on purpose. I don't doubt they invade everyone's phone and privacy

I really enjoy this calling and texting app. I can receive text messages from family and call them. I needed this app for other needs too. I'm using it wisely.

This is the worst app I have ever used, hands down. I cannot. The ads are unbelievably obtrusive, loud, frequent, and ridiculous. Multiple times now I have gone to click on a message and it just disappears. Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? They don't come back. What happened? If I could give this negative stars, I would.

super slow. 90% of the time it won't let me answer a call if it even rings. same with making calls. shows u that u have a voicemail but won't let u hear it unless u pay for the app.

first one i tried where you do not have to scan your face or enter in a government id to have a phone number. Just needed a throwaway to get a discount texted to me without giving my real number out. worked great.

good when it actually works. many times it doesn't alert me to calls or texts for days until I open the app manually. might have something to do with Google's dumb policy that puts apps to sleep.

I logged out of one of my schools account to log into another that was managed. and now I have an error 7064 and cant log into anything. i have deleted the app and reinstalled and still blocked and your help page says oh well. so now I have no access to my students messages. way to ruin a business.

I used to love this app for emergency or the time my another line is off ,but suddenly out of nowhere my account restricted. After back and forth I was told creat a new account while it is impossible. app doesn't accept creating new account because my email associated to the restricted account and my access is blocked . Noone giving a straight answer why my account restricted , not using it for long time leads to losing your number not restriction. I reduce my stars for this app from 4 to 3 .

it has adds and i can hear The Echo.

I mean it works when you have wifi... you can make calls, but the calls are bad quality even with good wifi, it plays ads constantly, even during your calls and its making noise at you while youre trying to listen or talk! very frustrating!

Paid $10 for the first month for this app and it glitches on every call I make and hangs up on everyone. The receiving person talking to me says that I sound like static noise and not clear. Don't waste your money!

i love THIS ONE way better than TextNow. Unless you get the in app purchase to not have the adds, there's just no way around not having the adds everyone, but it's not expensive and super worth it! my phone doesn't even have a sim card right now, and I can utilize this app with wifi connections, but it assigns you a number that's YOURS for life or however long you need it. in my situation, rebuilding my life from nothing, this app is a life saver!! I recommend it for anyone in similar situations

wish I could see incoming calls and answer them but I cant even do that anymore calls only appear as missed calls and I dont even get a chance to answer them please fix this issue

I am using it on a Chromebook with the app. Texting is fine but not dependable at all for calls. Not for calling out or receiving. Now the app won't even work. It crashes everytime I try to open it. I am also a paid user of it. I am looking for alternatives.

It told me I had used another account before, but I had not, and I couldn't log in.

The Ads are excessive compared to other apps like it. they take over 50% of your screen and sometimes 0. Not worth it.

way too many ads. I don't like that there are no read receipts and you don't have an option to turn on//off read receipts. You have to touch the screen to see when a text was sent. no call forwarding. Text now has more features and needs less permissions. also to upgrade to no ads is higher than text now cost. Call quality is not good on my end and not on the other person's end that I'm talking to as well.

Text free is great to have and it comes in handy if you're wanting a 2nd number especially if you don't have a phone plan with anyone. As long as you can connect to wifi it is great.I don't have any complaints so far and I have been using it for about 2 weeks. It kept me connected to the outside world when I was between phone plans. Thanks!!!

Mute the Ads that play during the call. At the very least, give us a mute ad option when we're taking a phone call. Extremely annoying to try and make a phone call, only for our ears to get blasted by some brainrot mobile app game at full volume, which we CAN'T TURN DOWN.

Telling me about spam filtering while spamming me with the message about spam filtering is a bit much. Otherwise ok..

to the developers of this app please understand for every time that I open this app and get met with an ad you do know that I just automatically close the app and reopen it again to continue what I was originally doing so with that said there is not a single thing advertised that why will break out my credit card for not one single thing so to continually irate me every time I want to use your app only makes me want to delete it and go get one of your competitors

More like a half a star rating. why would you make an app that plays ads WHILE you are on a call. if you make a call on speaker phone, it constantly blacks out the screen. don't expect to do anything with an automated system or where you have to enter info that's more than 3 characters. You will only get more and more mad the more you try to make it work.
