use it for a farm ch, we integrated into the fire disp now all first responders in the area are on it seems to work very well the only real difference is if you dont have data on it wont go threw and you wouldn't use it in a fire but on medical calls, traffic control, search teams stuff like that definitely. plus as a volunteer I dont always carry my radio with me were if on my cell and something like a medical situation comes up I can have direct contact with our disp directly

I find it a great app, I use Life360 for added security. I find that this app would be best paired with it. However, I can't seem to add friends and family thru an invite to this app unless they have an account with this app. Can I just share an invite thru regular text or Facebook Messenger? That'd be great if the app would link to other user software in which the app is installed. I've found cab companies that used this app, and it worked great for them!

Great app but since the update it keeps showing my wireless devices connecting and disconnecting when they're not even powered on. Two separate wireless headsets keep popping up as connected, then disconnected ever couple of minutes.

wish there was away to lock zello in the notifications bar, anytime I click clear all notifications it also clears zello and kicks me offline, I have zello unrestricted battery and allow in background and wake in options yet still closes even my other VoIP apps have this issue

Zelo will not stay on solo keeps on switching to available but setting still says solo where you can hear the background channels were you supposed only hear one that you are using very annoying! And I have the latest update.

[edit 2] The bug is still here, only worse. The zello mic button just stops working altogether the second you use your phone as a phone. You stop receiving any messages too so if somebody even calls you, zello gets disabled. [edit] I take it back, it still blocks the microphone whenever you call someone or vice versa. It might be caused by some new system that prevents broadcasting while on the phone, because it used to be possible until a recent update, when this bug has also been introduced.

the app doesn't allow me to add contacts, it just shows cannot connect to network.

I downloaded this app and within 5 minutes, it killed my phone. Very unhappy.

Has the echo/test functionality been eliminated? It is there but does not work on my app.

I hate this app for erratically popping an ad on my screen that opens Google Play to start installing it. This happens when trying to post stories on Instagram. If I want your app, I will install it. I don't, and your repeated attempts to force me mean I likely never will.

Awesome app but need an option to 1) turn off recording 2) use wifi direct. Like the local server itself instead of to your servers. 3) widget mic button and disable notification. been having issues of outgoing messages just stacking up and not sending. also NEED galaxy watch app that has the PTT button and uses the watch microphone

Other side cannot hear properly, same other way around, voice messages are coming but you cannot hear. Even in the settings with microphone adjustments and background noise canceling still result is the same. P.S both phones are brand new s24 ultra and Iphone 17 pro max

Android interface is really lacking compared to Apple. I came from using voxer for many years for my business and worldwide friend connections. I became tired of all the Voxer glitches so I ventured out. Zello was recommended by perplexity AI and while it seems to be alot better than Voxer in voice / glitch, I am seriously bummed about the Android interface. my friend who is also trying it has an Apple and her interface is infinitely better. Way more user friendly. Please Update Android 🙏🏻

Excellent software. I have one suggestion. Whenever we receive a communication, the app should pop up so that there is not much delay in giving reply. But of course, this is to be made optional.

I'm unable to keep Zello in portrait mode only the option does not appear on my particular device Samsung S21FE. other devices I have shows the option and then on other devices that don't show the option to stop it from going into landscaping mode

It is impossible to find and use Zello Friends and Family. In answer to the response about how to contact customer support: I have already tried, with no result. Getting stuck is not the problem. It is that there is no link offered to find the Friends and Family app, or section. There are no links offered at all. All of the supposed links which sit at the bottom of the page, are dead.

Please consider adding file-sharing features, such as PDFs and perhaps some office files that we are already familiar with. Thanks in advance!

Recently the automatic volume feature doesn't work. After ten minutes of no activity, the volume of your next incoming call is supposed to go back up to the level you set, which I chose 100. It was working but now it is not. Now I can miss a call because I lowered my media volume in another app. My phone, the version of android, and Zello version are all up to date. Any ideas? 5 stars for a fix.

I use this app for EMS and Fire dispatch. it works most of the time, and then goes down for days or weeks. You also don't have a choice in hearing activity on this app. You can either hear things live, or get an audible notification that there is radio traffic. You cannot mute notifications when set to busy, and the busy notification recently went from a subtle quiet chirp to a loud, prolonged ring. I even set notification volume to 0, and still get pinged to death.

This is malware. I installed it and created a chatroom. Before there were any messages to or from my account, the app began starting itself and interjecting while I was doing something else. I went to settings and turned off autostart and every other notification option and restarted the phone. The Zello app increased it's frequency of starting itself and interjecting while I was busy with some other app. Uninstalled it. Now I guess we'll see if it automagically shows up again.

Works fine, but I do have one pet peave... I want to allow the app to stay open so I can receive notifications when someone sends message. But I don't need or want a recurring notification that does nothing, but tell me the app is running. For that reason, I force stop it and keep it off.

App is cool. Use it for work. As of recently the adjust users volume does nothing. Also this app is constantly popping back up over my other apps even when there is no transmission going on. Also when a transmission is received it should lower the volume of other apps playing. I have to pause my podcast Everytime to relisten to a message. Make it work like Google maps. I'll change rating when these issues are fixed.

I have tried this app on several devices and it works fine. HOWEVER, on the Samsung galaxy S21 the transmit audio is extremely low.. I tested this theory on 2 separate S21 phones and it seems it is only doing it with the S21. I have adjusted the record volume to try and boost my mic audio and it isn't working. It just makes it sound equally low. Can we find a solution to this issue as it is making it extremely difficult for me to dispatch my emergency units.

Keeps changing status to BUSY on its own. I have it installed on my kids devices too, when we try to contact, its always busy. And we NEED ALWAYS be Available. So if i cant contact them real-time, & vice versa, then NVM with this. I ACTUALLY STOPPED to write a review bc it bothers me so. So much has changed and its ANNOYING. Auto-changing my settings is not helpful. No setting to disengage. Currently considering an alternative. Anyhoo, Zello was popping in 2014 tho. Good times. Good times. Iykyk

Been using it for over ten years for fun and serious stuff. On my xiaomi 11T pro the notification sounds don't work. The ones when you press the ptt button, when you lift it, when you receive a message, etc. Sounds used to help me a lot. They work just fine on my friends' iphones.

What's going on with this app? It was a good app, but now it's junk. Got to restart my phone twice a day to get it to work. The problem is your not able to do anything when it starts flickering until you restart your phone. And this is everyday all day of doing this. Would appreciate if you guys would fix this problem. I've would pay (once, no subscription) for a version that doesn't have constant issues. But for the last few years I have often had to exit zello, or turn on and off airplane mode just to get messages to send -with several different phones over the years. And now, within the last month or so, zello completely disconnects after probably 30 seconds of my phone being locked, so I miss messages. Support doesn't respond to emails. Makes me very hesitant ever to spend on this app.

The app is good enough, but creates a problem. When I am using it, my alarm or timer sound won't play because the phone thinks I am on a call, while I am not. The same with youtube videos. The only solution is to go to settings, applications, and find zello to force stop. Is there an other solution? Otherwise I will uninstall it.

I love the app, but it's gotten bad. Whoever is making updates needs to be fired asap! It's glitching my phone.. I almost overslept and missed my alarm because the alarm wasn't ringing(smart watch woke me up..)because of zello. For some reason, the app keeps disabling my phones speaker... How do I know? I force stop the app, and suddenly, my alarm and sound work.. Not to mention all the Bluetooth and connectivity problems. This thing has developed over the past 3 months. Please fix this..

I constantly wish several more features existed; I wish this app had Android "app actions" so you could create app shortcuts on your home screen for tasks like signing in/out, or using a PTT button. Or even just some more widgets would be nice. I wish I was able to automate some of these use cases (on Bixby routines, in-app, etc.); 1. Ability to turn Zello on/off based on location & wifi network & time of day. 2. Ability to connect to specific channels/contacts based on location & network & time

I don't know what the hell you guys were doing in the last update, but you somehow managed to break literally everything and I'm not being figurative, literally everything that used to work before no longer functions as it should, you will be trying to send a message and get thrown completely offline, there is no cut-off time up until three minutes in a group that I'm in, but I can still get cut off within 30 seconds roll it back already, this is ridiculous

I have an issue. When I press the "PTT/Talk" button, after 3 to 4 seconds, there is a loud popping sound which ruins my Zello experience. I hear it in saved audio and in the Echo test. I have used Zello in the past on a different phone and had a great time with it! My current phone is a Xiaomi Note 11. Anyone else have this issue?

Just wanted to listen to the scanner for a few minutes, but now I've got 7,348 notifications about the fire department clicking their mics, a banner across my app drawer, and more tracking concerns than I can count. Horrendous and useless app all around. I can't even figure out how to get it dialed in via settings, because the interface makes no sense.

Wanted to love this app, but there's no permanent way to disable autoplay? I can't have messages just playing out loud, but I don't want to put my phone on silent, and setting my status as "busy" only lasts til I send a message and it automatically switches right back to "available." I know the point is to emulate a walkie-talkie but there needs to be an option to disable this and only get notifications. I was hoping this would be like a more functional Voxer.

Yet another walkie-talkie app clearly written by someone who has never used a walkie-talkie. None of these apps ever captured the basic Simplicity, and they all have so much setup, and expose you and your channel to anybody who can guess the name. The writers of this app should use a walkie-talkie for 5 minutes, then scrap this app entirely, and write a walkie-talkie app.

The last couple months, I've been noticing a lot of DELAYS in sending and receiving messages (the app holds the message in the queue, anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes). We use this app for a business, and all the delays are becoming problematic enough that we may stop using this app very soon. I've been expecting patch updates and improvements, but it only seems to get worse lately. Once you get in a conversation with someone there seems to be a lot less delay and it's more stable.

This app needs an invite ***LINK*** something I can put in a group chat. Instead the recipient has to be in your phone contacts and you have to invite them directly through the app. It also needs an on-screen tutorial for older people and tech dummies. For me the app is very easy to use, but everyone is not me. It also should provide recommendations for bluetooth earbud connectivity. It's not immediately obvious that you can use this with your earbuds. Not very well thought out. Minus 3 stars.

This is the best walkie talkie app I found !! I'm an android user and i can have the app fully closed and i can simply reply through my notification bar with the push to talk. I can be watching YouTube and I'm able to randomly hear the other person speak to me. Another thing is that I can have the app closed, phone fully locked and off and I'll be able to hear them perfectly This all can be changed by your status! If you're busy at work per say, you can change your status as busy.

Can you make the app work? The app will turn on randomly and start blasting radio traffic. The only way I can make this stop is by hitting sign out in the app (closing the app or hitting "exit" in app doesn't stop the sound). Then when I do need to quickly open the app to hear a dispatch it takes 3 min to sign in, making me miss the dispatch. For those who don't have the app, signing in is as easy as taping your username but it will load for ever.

Makes my nights a lot easier to get through when I'm trying to stay awake. A lot of issues with the PTT button for blue parrot headset. Mine didn't work for months on end amd then all of the sudden started to work. Same goes for a few friends of mine. We all have newer headsets and phones. Please fix this issue so we aren't constantly touching our phones to talk.

It's good when it works, but it's unreliable. I'm on Android, partner is on iPhone. Frequently when I try to send her a message, she never receives it until manually she opens the app, despite the "Keep Alive" option being on and her status being a green "standby." It's a frustrating experience communicating with nobody, waiting for a response that never comes.

It works sometimes. Recent updates have broken this app, sometimes you miss large parts of conversation or someone is talking to you but it doesn't even come up on your end. Also when trying to share pictures the camera will glitch out and will only let you take pictures and not share them from your phone. They need to fix their app and stop breaking it more with every update.

Edit: now notifications are not working at all. You need to turn on the app. Endedit. Was my favorite app for months, but: Problems in standby/offline mode: - In group chat you don't receive notification any more. Moreover, the chat is not saved for you, so it's lost if you are offline for a while. - Notification are displayed after two messages are received from someone. You need to send "Hello" twice. I'm using it with my friends. I thought it can not be any better.

Talking with family and friends and groups is easier now with Zello. I didn't give a 5 rating largely because I keep getting a request from a group that has been closed by their administrator and cannot block the continual requests. Several of my friends keep getting the same request (and the "administrator" can't fix it either.) Please fix this glitch and communicate back with me. Again, the PTT works great.

Have asked on more than one occasion why my Zello keeps disconnecting, even though mobile data is always on. I've been asked to send screen shots of the error!!! How much more explanation can I give you? App seems to disconnect when WiFi carrier changes...and this is bad because I'm part of a neighborhood watch group so I can't afford to be with no connection. My queries have been ignored. Not impressed with service😠😤

Not too bad at all, does what it says on the tin so to speak, easy to set up, easy to use, only complaint I've had with it is if you speak as soon as you press the PTT button the other person misses the start of the message, no biggy though just pause a second or so when you press the button and then speak. Good app maybe even a bit better then Voxer. Only thing I would like to see change is the status of your profile. The app automatically switches my status to busy and I have to keep switching it back to available. It should remain on available unless we change it to something else ourselves. It shouldn't do it automatically for us. I use this app for our security company and the one thing is something I don't need to happen. Please fix.

Used to be a great app. Tried to use it after a long year break, and realized you can't search for channels. So, I can't even find anything to join, as Zello channel lists are almost impossible to find. This is a dead app now. Discord is where it's at now, as they have a PTT option. Zello overreacted and killed their own app. Would give 0 stars if I could.

The application works Flawless it's a great app but it's not what it used to be or as fun as it used to be. You used to be able to join groups without having to be invited to or search four groups and you will automatically get a list you can join. Now you can only talk to people you know, not much different from sending a voice clip through SMS or any of the other social media apps like WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger. I hope it goes back to how it was a few years back.

Doesn't seem to work as seamlessly as it originally did a few years ago. We tried to use on the road over our Memorial day trip. This app was slow to respond, audio did not open on the receiving end of comms, and kept pushing itself to the front when my navigation was running. Not as clean as it once was.

I love this app! 100% 5 STAR!! SUGGESTION . Today, more and more people using it on dedicated devices with own PTT button like Inrico, Radio Tone, Anysecu. This "radios" has a small display and most of us not using the on screen PTT button, what is covering half of the screen. It would be nice if this software button can be removable and replaceable with useful informations, like one lane for channel name and a line under with the information of the current transmitter station.

I loved app at first but then when I signed out and shut off the app and even after unistalling the app there were people talking to each other I could hear thier conversations but they couldn't hear me! I think it's a dangerous app because you can get a lot of info from people talking. They need to fix this bug before I will use it again!!! Only after I shut off my phone completely and started it back up to did the app finally stop letting me hear other people's conversations.

This audio PTT chat app is great!👍🏼 It seems if you turn the 'noise suppression' option OFF (and, perhaps 'Apply audio mode only when a msg is sent...' = OFF), Zello somehow apparently negotiates use of a superior codec compression algorithm which delivers better fidelity music through the celephone cloud than other apps. Bottom line is: It works better for music. A must for "celephonic music" group improvisation! You can't match harmonies, but we can still jam celephonic style. C-U there!

Really was enjoying this app, with my wife, until it stopped connecting. It keeps us both in standby, or offline, regardless of changing our status manually. Even when it said available on our ends, it still shows the other offline or in standby. Unless we force quit and restart, it just won't reconnect either one of us. Even then, it doesn't always work. If it's a setting, we can't figure out which one. I don't think it is, because we reset to factory settings, and it still does it. Too bad.

Well I,ve been a zello user for years and before ton of updates it has worked fine on even older devices. I thought zello was going to have a long life span bridging many devices young and old. But i think with the sucess of zello with over 50 million download they are heading tords a payed model.Now older devices don't seem to work as well and alot of us bought the walkie talkie type devices that are still popular even now.Zello is a great app but i think the free versions days are numbered.

So far so good, but there is no radio-noise 'ssshh' option as a lead-in for messages that come through (which can be very short but still recognisable), nor the radio-crackle 'crrr' when the message ends. The cues are wrong, and also it's not a walkie-talkie experience. So it's either a nebulous voice suddenly arising out of your pocket or one of their unmeaningful ping or ding options as the lead-in.

Using daily this app as a trucker, I think that is really ok. But as you know, on long term use, it will leave some watermarks on your screen. The push button you offered, should solve the problem, but are too small. Maybe you will make an adjustment in the future...

Have had this app for quite some time now, a few years, and I absolutely love it. We have moved many times in the past few years and zello is the app we use when we are driving separately to stay in contact. It's easy to use and not distracting, set it and talk. We even use it at home instead of shouting across the house we zello each other. I had family install it and when they make the 10+ hour trip to visit that's how we stay in contact. LOVE ZELLO 💘

Have used Zello for four years now as back-up channel for mountain rescue. When digital radio runs out of range, Zello is our comms of choice. If we get called, out of area, it will keep us connected with Base. Sound quality better than DMR. Range, anywhere in the 3/4/5G network. All calls recorded and can be reviewed eg. when your driving, can't touch the phone and an important location is given.

Mimics a walkie talkie and allows you to talk to each other regardless of distance which is great. But its annoying when both sides can press the button and talk at the same time but you didnt know you are overlapping. Maybe the button should be deactivated when 1 user is speaking and the rest can just listen. Instead of everyone pressing the buttons at the same time, and you dont even know you're talking to yourself

Honestly this is one of few apps I can say I love! Wish I found it much sooner for while I'm in the house and my significant other is out and about working in the shop or yard. Allows to be connected with people you know or to join groups based on similar interest. Full screen app has a simple interface, also includes a widget that is also extremely simple. Even provides options to send text notifications and images.

I have been testing Zello with my church security team and it is working out very well so far. The app requires some training and instruction but once you are up to speed it works very well. We ordered a few inexpensive bluetooth earpieces to test until we found the right one. Once I programmed the earpiece with the push to talk I felt like a secret service agent. I pared the app with my Bose glasses and this is how I communicate with my teams during church service.

Another update today and they didn't fix what they screwed up...Can't set orientation; can't hide contacts photos: cant set notifications the way a user wants them. To remove the user's ability to customize the app is very STUPID. They basically downgraded it. Why did you change notifications? I don't want it to vibrate on incoming messages, only on ready to send. It's very annoying this way. Please change it to the way it was. AND, please give us the option to not show contacts photos again.

This is the best only thing you can do to make this better is 1 bring back the trending list and make the options to search and find channels a lot easier because I talk to people that just start using the app and they're like how do I find any place to talk the channels aren't set up by categories and you're not easy to find

Really wanted this app to work. In short I spent more time fighting the app and attempting to adjust settings than using features. 1Naming groups is a pain to come up with unused names. 2 on sonim phones, the app automatically assigns it's self To buttons, and will randomly default after reprograming. Wakes screen and uses battery. have had other operational mysterious issues since install. 3 standby is very difficult to maintain for 24/7 com link. Not a replacement for art/ptt

Annoying notifications every time you silence your phone, It just says "Zello switched to busy." Might have work related utility. I was jsut trying it out as an experiment between my computer and phone. I gave it one more star as it seemed to work well but I have no use for it at this time, maybe in the future.

I find this very useful. It is something that falls between I don't feel like talking on the phone over an open line and what I have to convey is too complicated and laborious for texting. I had a Nextell PTT in 2005 and this is a perfect reminder to me as to why I always found it so useful.

Zello is great, but sometimes goes a little haywire. I recently had a friend visiting from the UK, and we depended on Zello to keep in touch because he couldn't use his phone plan in the USA. I didn't give it 5 stars because sometimes it cuts out, or the overs are out of sequence. We can talk when thousands of miles apart for free!

My friends and I have used Zello for about a year and a half now as former Voxer users, which is a similar app. However, within the last few months my friends complain that they didn't receive my voice messages and I haven't received random messages they sent. We exchanged screen shots of the messages and the lengths from each one of our mobile phones and it was surprising, yet frustrating how many messages we all failed to receive from one another. Strangely, this app is now unreliable.

We tried this app on 2 old blackview phones, and it worked great. So we purchased 3 kerosero pro 2's, which Zello listed on the website as being great phones, and Zello would work great. We moved everything to Zelloworks, which is a private network, and the cost is $8.00 per phone per month. As it turns out, the voice quality is very bad, lots of static comes through. I tried to get to my account on the computer, which is the only way to make changes, and I could not get the website to even let me sign in. I tried 3 different browsers, and nothing worked. I tried calling, and could only leave a message. I sent custormer service a message, and never received an answer back. I hope maybe this is just a fluke, and others have had better results.

can you put an option to rewind and fast forward a message you get from another person. so my friend send me a message and i wanted to rewind then fast forward but i dont see an option to do that. i come from using voxer app but that app kept messing up and messages werent going thru. but one thing i liked was being able to rewind and fast forward a message to a certain time in the message.

I don't like the new zello. The title says that it is a Walkie Talkie app, when it is more like a podcast app. I thought I would be able to talk to my friends on the app, and they'd be able to listen easier than it displayed. Also, the app is really a link to the messaging apps you already have! It is an incredible waste of time. Oh well, I guess another app will do.

nice app so i won't dock any stars but too impractical for the average user to figure out. I had to tell people how to setup the app. also not fond of verifying my phone number. I was able to remap my samsung s9+ bixby button for PTT communication which gave it a more authentic feeling. I like this app but could use a more simplistic approach for less technologically advanced users.

A great app but when you create a room with friends it suffers lag and sometimes hard to break into a conversation. The ring colours need some work as depending what angle your pbone is at it can be hard to see if the ring is orange or red. Maybe when transmitting it would be good if the whole circle went red even in the ring so if your using a Bluetooth button you definitely know when ur keyed up. Would be nice if your a room creator or moderator you can over ride all calls even if there is lag.

I've been using the app for and so far I love it, but one thing I think you can improve on is addition of a tone to let you know when you've stopped recording like it does when the message you've received is done playing. reason I say this is there are times when my PTT button has not ended the recording and I have to pull out the device from my pocket to check and confirm. I think it would be easier if I just heard a beep to let me know I've ended my recording and my mic is off.

App disappeared from my phone AGAIN. This is the 5th time. Surely this is an Android issue.....can someone shed some light please ? update. no resolution due to unknown software issue with non mainstream phone. App works perfectly, just have to keep reinstalling it and put login details after each reinstall.

Very useful in certain tasks when a transceiver is necesssry. Some cabs use it to communicate. Message delay was in acceptable limits. It even displays current delay, which is good. I have uninstalled though, because my 4gb phone started lagging annoyingly during server connection delays. Don't know the reason, the round circle started rotating endlessly and I couldn't access any other tasks at all. Phone turned back normal after uninstallation.

Please add sending files. problems:zello will close if there's no data or wifi connection for a long time and it doesn't start up again, and doesnt start on boot? Seems pretty good, but annoying that I can't turn off the autoplaying of incoming messages. I'd much prefer a notification sound and then choose to listen, or at least and option to do so. I guess "busy" sort of does this, but it then automatically switches me back to available.

I love this app for a variety of reasons. 1. It works like a walkie talkie, but with completely unlimited range. 2. you can exit the app so that you don't receive messages. (this is GREAT especially if you are off the clock. ) 3. it records all of the messages. this is great when you work with the " i didn't say that" guy. you can LITERALLY hit a button and prove them wrong. (beware! if you say "i wanna bang the bosses daughter " someone else can hit a button and take your job!)

Best and getting better. Works on WiFi or Data. I've never had any problems. Talk individually or to a group. Stay connected to multiple groups simultaneously. For best experience: Use with wired or Bluetooth earbud/ headset. No range limits. Safer than using the phone while driving. 1 button.

This app is one amazing app I've come across with, but one thing only that bothers me and quite frankly annoyed with is that it DRAINS MY BATTERY QUICKLY.. I have a new phone, 2 months to be exact and I need to recharge it quite often a day, which really kills the battery life. So PLEASE FIX THIS otherwise I will be forced to drop Zello altogether.. I don't mind this program I think it's a good program only problem I have is trying to find channels everytime I press the ICOM underneath with three people on it it doesn't show anything at all except scan and typing in channels. New update I have problem signing in into my account it's the right password and it's alright username it's constantly doing this to me whenever I get a new phone but anyone who gets a new phone there's a man out there will be a major problem try to sign in to your account

The app is great but still I am missing one functionality as a walkie talkie. If I am in one to one conversation but both people push to talk at the same time, both will get each other message to relisten after they have finished. Isn't there a way to avoid the message to be fully received if the other one is talking at the same time? That's how walkie talkies would work. Thanks!

Another apps that needs to verify your phone number for no reason... edit after answer from developer: verifying phone numbers only make sense when you need 2 steps authentication. For an app that makes Walkie Talkie, you do not need a phone number. You are just part of all these people who want to collect more info that they need to, this is annoying for people like me. End of the story.

It's good, but that would be cool if there was a button where when you're outside the app you can press and send the message to the person you were talking to. Another nice feature would be having the voices not over lap or interrupt each other if you are talking to one person separately then your other friend's voice comes in lol. Also, is there a way to have history saved temporarily? Like delete the data used after one or two days so I can still save it but not use my memory if I forget.

Not bad! I was looking for a walkie-talkie app for communicating with the wife, especially in a noisy house and shouting "WHAT?!?!" from room to room! This app is ideal and cuts above the noise! Only downside is that if you've turned your volume down, the app volume goes with it - haven't figured out if there's a function to override this yet. There is a little lag between pressing and talking, but I guess we'll just have to get better at learning to pause for a millisecond or two before speaking.

The app was great. Some minor feature is missing. Pls correct me if you have this feature because I cannot find in your app. Both pc and mobile have a 2 sec delay which is very high. My friends told me that my transmission has a very high delay they have to wait 2 seconds to talk back to me from thier radio. Other software like echo link have delay option after the roger beep this one doesnt. There must be an option where you/we can adjust the tail delays. Other than that its a great app. Keep it up..

Great ptt app. Was very impressed with out well it works as I've used radios for work in security industry. Much clearer comms than most radios no static buzzing. Would give 5 stars if the app would detect when you plug headphones in and automatically change speaker/earpiece volume. As when I'm at work and use it to comms with my mate who works across town and I have a earpiece in but when I take it out keep missing messages as it stays on selected earpiece volume and have to manually change back the phone speaker. Apart from that works great.

I've tried a handful of walkie apps and this definitely the most well constructed one I have found. Multiple people in conversations is very handy with coworkers. There are a couple of things I'd like to see maybe a way to have an alert go off before a message comes through so I'm not just hearing The Voice come through my pocket when I'm not paying attention to my phone and I would like to go to remove the status bar from my lock screen

Really useful and brilliant app, the bad reviews are because the people that use the app. People are people and will always have a few idiots that try ruin a good thing for everyone. But this app is really well made and can be used for a free and convenient way of communicating for friends, bouncers, businesses, you can have open chats or you can put a password on a chat and keep it hidden so only the people you want can join. I prefer to have tap to talk as default instead of walkie talkie hold style as it works better I find, especially with clicking the headphones button which is a great feature too!

Worked fine for a while, then recently started to glitch and randomly record conversations and send to all other phones in our group when no one was using the app or had it open. Had to restart all phones in the group to get it to stop. A few days later, the same thing happened. Uninstalled from all phones in our family group since the app was essentially randomly turning on and running itself with no apparent way to stop the glitch.

I have the BlackBerry KEYOne and this app receives and sends very quickly. I love the concept. However, this app constantly goes on Busy status, claiming my phone is on silent when it's on vibrate. You have to manually change your status. I would love a fix and, I would love to have the ability to have status change back to available (or whatever it was) before setting your phone to silent.

Edit: The reply to this worked great. Thanks for fixing! Adjusted rating. Spent 10min trying to figure out how to use echo. Held the mic in the middle and nothing happens. Zello forums are useless, they don't show pictures so I couldn't confirm if I was even in the right spot.
