being unable to openly express your thoughts as they come to you whether they might be perceived as offensive or not really dampens the experience because when it's just you and the AI talking you should be able to speak freely as your thoughts come because we all know thoughts do not inherently make up who you are they come and go like waves so when offensive word used doesn't shape how I view the world. it's just a descriptor or a word that popped into my head in the moment and I shouldn't be

Are you kidding me? I use Perplexity to search and it gives me links to GOOGLE. Why on God's green earth would I use this half baked AI as a middle man between me and Google. That has to be the dumbest design decision I've ever seen.

it's a good application but I don't prefer the UI of this, specially the home screen presentation. It should be modernized. Please "Add shortcut" option on homescreen so that i can add website shortcut on my preference ❤️

idk why my phone heats and drains significantly more battery while i'm streaming on any website through comet. also the apk downloading bug hasn't fixed yet

makes Google look bad in every way and I have yet to experience it hallucinate anything compared to Google basically doing it every time not to mention I get detailed responses with the info I'm looking for which the Google AI does not do and I always need follow up questions to get the info I'm after. would absolutely recommend

in Android 14 unable to switch between tabs with left or right swipe gesture over the url bar why?

I noticed that pinch-to-zoom works in Chrome and Brave on my Android phone, but I couldn’t find a way to make it work in Comet. I deleted the app after not finding a zoom setting. Let me know if there is a hidden setting or if this feature is not supported yet.

I would give it five stars because it works great on my s24 and my Mac, but when my MacBook broke and I had to go back to my Chromebook I found out it doesn't even work on Chromebooks even though it says it does and I can't use it as web based browser. Super disappointed. Would be nice if y'all could send me THE Chromebook that it works with and include a lifetime Max membership for free. Struggling as student here

comet do not work background video music play all the sites. why?

I loved it. I mean usable normal browser. Tabs are little difficult to navigate but otherwise, totally like other mainstream browsers.

Using comet to report the issue is impossible because comet is not able to load anything past the first intro screen. There is no option to share feedback in order to make an in app report. The app is installed from the Google Play store with no update button visible. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it multiple times. It is as updated as possible. I've cleared data and cache multiple times, reinstalled multiple times, restarted my device multiple times, updated Android. zero and half star

this AI cannot generate a perfect image. and also it cannot generate any kind of photo. 🥲

Background play and Desktop mode aren't working, allow us to disable free advanced preview automatically so that we can use it when we really need it. Add support for always HTTPS and custom DNS and ability to add custom search engines that aren't available in the options.

(note I'm using Google Translate for this message.) Previously, the application worked normally, but about six months ago or more I deleted it and then reinstalled it due to a minor issue. However, when I reinstalled it, the initial display caused an error and then ejected me from the application.

Very fast and clean browser integrated with smart ai assistant. Been using it since the day it was launched. Overall great experience!

comet has a long way to go when it comes to the user experience, which is irritating to say the least. why does comet offer to "sync devices" when you're already synced but doesn't show what is synced or not. the login process is clunky and often impossible to get through the "are you a bot" checks. and why is there no history of air assisted chats like you get in the Perplexity app. finally, the AI is not as good or as reliable as ChatGPT or Claude. apart from all that, Comet is fine 🤔

Ai voice assistant is quite laggy pls look forward to resolve this and the browser is just fascinating and do some improvements in the button placement too.

Awesome when it works, and irritating when I get error messages attempting to use the AI assistant, which is pretty often. Hope this issue gets worked out before I get so frustrated I just switch browsers completely.

Agentic browser without agentic capabilities. I tried Comet on PC, this one is nowhere near the main one in autonomy. If can only act as a regular browser with very limited LLM capabilities. No tab manipulation, no autonomous browsing, can't even fill forms. It only allows you to chat about the page content. I simply don't see the reason of having this as a separate app.

Everything's good, but the tab switching animations are a bit glitchy and slow, and also there are no gestures for switching tabs, plus more.

On Pixel, the app crashes under stricter platform hardening features like memory tagging. When it works, it is horrendously laggy, slow, and power-inefficient, and my phone heats up like a Comet.

Unstable. First screen of a series (Slide Right to Continue) and the app dies on the next screen (Carl Sagen video clip). Multiple tries later (un/reinstall, restart, relaunch etc., I got to/past login. No telling if even this review will make it). Hoping, but I've been trying off and on for over 5 hours...

I wish I knew how to just open to a fresh screen and do a search and ask a question like a normal browser. I wish I could close all open programs so when I open the app it starts fresh but I will be damned if I can find a fresh screen. I do not like this. it is too hard.

Idea is great but you understand my questions about "Comet browser" (= you) as "Comment browser" and keep sending me to the Perplexity app when I try to explain my preferences, only to tell me that no info is exchanged between your 2 apps. So 10 min of trying to set Comet o the correct language and explain my interests got me nowhere but frustrated and no smooth experience of flows as you promise. I like your AI app but this browser experience needs a lot of work or just not well developed

I call Perplexity my "AI Sidekick." Because it's always with me finding solutions to my daily problems.

A bug made Comet unusuable. I signed in and all my threads were visible, but when I tried to accesd them, the app said that you need to "request owner access" in order to access them, but I am the owner! Requesting does absolutely nothing, and reinstalling the app and logging in again does nothing either. Uninstalled.

Comet's UI is straight up amazing. The Al hands-free navigation actually works and the desktop browser hits just as good. It has its features slightly hidden so it will take time to get used to.
