This APP SUCKS!

This app is awful. Testing and quality control was obviously not done. I don't want hundreds of notifications that I don't care about, only to receive the one notification that I do need to know. Notification filtering needs to be improved otherwise this app will fail before it starts.

Formatting is terrible and users can not edit posts! so if you make a mistake when putting in a request to your community, you can't make any changes to it. you should have the option to make changes and or delete the request.

Doesn't work. Community managers close your noise nuisance tickets without acting on them. now I'm told I have to call their lawyer in order to request a board meeting? I don't know if that's a software bug, obstruction, or if it's retaliation?

cant see important notifications

this app doesn't show up in system/apps. on Niagara launcher, apps that don't show properly there, don't show up in the app list. I have to open the app searching in play store or via browser short cut ("add app to home screen"), and then open in app link from there. same problem on two phones, over brand new. very annoying. called "community". brilliant when one is looking for ts, town square, tq, sq, and every other name it goes by. brilliant marketing.

The app is called Town Square Community but the app icon doesn't reflect that . It is just Sq . When I get a notice that there is a new event or notice I have to download it into my phone you can't just view the notice . Overall this app is not user friendly on other issues too .

This TownSq thing sucks! Can't get it to work on my laptop & hate "trying" to use my phone. I try to avoid it @ all costs!!!! You should rename it FUBAR!

Does not meet expectations

Two times the app indicated an error when I tried to pay my monthly Assn. fee. Each time it charged me twice the amount. Now I have my monthly payt. on auto pay. I was disappointed when that happened.

Recently requests me to add payment methods. I already have methods saved. And it requested me to do so again. I thought it had an update and erased everything kinda non-sense. So I did it again for one card. After it was saved, it showed original payment methods along with the double one I just added. so 2 of the same cards on file now. And I can't delete it. And it's asking again to add a payment method. What's going on here!???

just awful all around. Web app has features that aren't in this app, and the web app isn't responsive. the sign up process is painful. the name field is editable...but then they say you're not allowed to edit it. I can't imagine why an association would sign up for this dreck. oh, and the app doesn't appear as "TownSq"; it appears as "community" (which is utterly ridiculous).

Times Square is an easy navigating app to which you can pay your HOA fees every 6 months. Unfortunately, I fell behind, but I am going to work with them to get caught up but I do thank them for all they do provide such as killing weeds in the front yard and looking after the area, making sure we keep it squared away. Can you gate h o a truly has been good to me. A couple of years ago , they aided me in getting my garage door replaced after someone stabbed it with a knife and damaged the outside

a very cumbersome platform to use. app is mot intuitive. it does not intergrate well with the email links sent that are supposed to lead you to a specific document.

Could not print Minutes from here.

I live in a community that is managed by them and I never had any issues. they do a great job.

I have 3 properties, but only 2 accounts and one of those I can't access. I've found no way to add the missing property. I was told to call property manager for the blocked account, but they don't accept phone calls or return phone calls. This app is useless to me overall.

Where is the make a payment option, why is it no longer in the app or on the website. Why does my reoccurring payment keep canceling and why is the option no longer available?

Terrible app. Nothing will open and it is apparently the only means of communication. Sure fire way to keep everything secret.

I have had nothing but trouble with this app. I find it the most frustrating app in existence. Even when I manage to get on it, I can't find anything. This app is used by my management company Waccamaw Management in Pawleys Island, SC.

This app doesn't allow responding to messages, so it's useless for communicating with the property management company and the HOA. The app glitches and has errors when trying to delete messages. It also glitches and doesn't send notifications when payments aren't processed. I don't know if the payments not processing is a function of the app, but it should at least send a notification when a payment is due and isn't charged.

Horrible, not user friendly. I was not notified of the hoa violation warnings via my email like I'm supposed too. I opened the app and to my surprise I have two warnings for the same thing. I miss my old hoa. And you can not call these guys regarding a violation, you have to email them (and they never get back to you). Going to the hoa meetings to see if we can change our hoa.

This company deals with important matters regarding your condo. I received immediate response within hours to a matter regarding my condo.

Horrible, terrible! Will not be using this app again! Two months in a roll they took four payments last month and this month they took two!! System said did not go through. Was told to uninstall and re-install and try again! Still this months payment has NOT been resolved! Can't trust this app. Going back to snail mail.

Why do I have to search "community" in my app drawer to find this app but searching "townsq" yields no results?! This is so counterintuitive and inconsistent! At least have "townsq community" as the label of the app so that typing either of those words in a search would yield the desired result. Makes no sense.

Everytime I try to make a payment I get a server error message. Kind of a problem when im trying to make an HOA payment and Im up against a deadline.

Literally removed the only function that makes the app worth having which was the user forum. was also removed from the website version too so its not just an app issue its a company issue.

Terrible app. After uploading photos of a hazardous situation and a full description of the problem in the Requests section, then selecting the category Work Order, when I pressed Submit, the app responded with an error message, saying the category was Read Only, and it deleted all the photos and the problem description. No warning, no way to recover anything. The devs that wrote this app clearly are poor quality and never did any user testing before launch. Error trapping is a most basic need.

Great app to keep one updated. It would facilitate finding information if a Master Index was included. Particularly like that notifications to your email log you in automatically.

The app is downloading titled "Community" when your looking for TownSquare and it's very confusing

Always crashes on payments even though it still processes.. Lots of double payments at first. Then of course payments don't process years later and become behind months. Needs major update

Would love to see the Pdf file on the app and not have to download every pdf my baord puts out. Don't need to downloads lots of notices on the phone because you can't put that on the app

This app is terrible. I use it because I have to in order to pay my dues but it doesn't even do that now. For a long time, every time I pay my dues it would give an error then I had to watch my email to see if it actually went through or not. Today it's still giving the error and it seems like the payment isn't going through. Or I've paid my dues 4 times. Who knows? Since this app never works right. -Now 3 days later it won't even load the payment area for me to attempt to make a payment again.

Every time when trying to pay I get error , don't recommend it but I'm enforce to use it because of the management office of our community enforce us to use it as soon as they change it defiently I will stop use it.

completely dysfunctional most of the time. Fails to load any documents for my hoa (rules, annoucements, etc.) and I get often undescriptive error messages when I try to submit payments. Tried setting up auto pay but it isn't automatically paying... been on and off the phone trying to fix issues with inability to access my account. I am a highschool Comp. Sci. teacher, and unironically my 12th graders could build a better functioning app in a single semester.

The payment wizard is broken and unusable. It says error while processing payment making you think it failed but if you wait a minute you receive an email with a confirmation number.

They charge $15 dollars for the convenience of them charging your card. Obviously, they want a cut of your HOA fees. It never says what you owe, and when it's due so you have to remember what you owe. I don't understand why if they are asking you for your hard earned money that they are not upfront what you owe. As it currently says, I owe $0.

Easy to use

The app works well for making payments, but when the company that manages our HOA tries to contact me (board member), I get an error message instead of what they sent me.

TownSq app shares data with third parties for targeted advertising. It is hidden in the privacy policy and it is an opt out rather than OPT in, and for an Application where the average is above the age of 50, I think it is a scummy business practice to target older people and we should not be rewarding then, especially because they make the app the primary method for payment. It is a scummy business model that should not be encouraged.

Terrific app for contacting HOA and staying updated on community happenings! Improved my experience tremendously.

OK app. Don't use it a lot just making sure my dues payments are current. Updated the monthly amount and now app won't show anything about my account. No past payment history, doesnt even show I have an account. Can't get anyone to answer me.

Where is the 2FA authentication feature? Without it this app can't be taken seriously. More than 2 years later and still no 2FA. This app is not secure.

I've been having difficulty making a payment with this app because it's always showing there's an error. I always have to make a loooong phone call to make monthly payments, and yet the app doesn't update that I have paid.

I have Uninstalled and reinstalled this app. I do not have new info since the beginning of the year. Is there an issue somewhere I'm not seeing to fix this?

In the past, every time I make a payment, I get an error message but generally get an email saying that the payment went through. However, this month, I've tried making a payment 3 times now (once about a week ago, and twice in the last hour), and I haven't received an error message OR an email confirming my payment. My HOA is incredibly fascistic/draconian when it comes to anything going against HOA requirements/guidelines. I don't want a late fee or a warning. This is awful.

Garbage app. Get an error page every time after completing a payment saying the payment can't be processed...but the payment does go through when I check back later.

Why did I get email to look at message that is not there?

Every time I make a payment, it tells me it failed, even though it didn't. This is very risky and someone could easily double pay. I recommend being very careful and checking your bank account if paying anything with this app. It definitely seems sketchy and unreliable

This system used by waccamaw management screwed up my hoa payment and charged me $10 because it claims my bank reported no account even though the bank has no record of it with exception of it working for last year payment. This app/system is compromised.

Public announcement from C.H. Holiday shopping for kids. Got the date , time and activities. No location !

App works well but needs improvement, biggest issue I've had is the App not updating as it's loading so current feed won't show up until I refresh the app a few times(weather it's going into different menus or reopening the app).

Not uploading videos and pictures correctly. It uploads empty files. I.don't know if there is some uploding capacity limit and after that only empty files are uploaded. Anyway the app should make it clear and show it for the end user.

Figures my HOA and PM company would use an app as useless as they are. I don't know what's worse, the functionality of the app or the HOA decision making. Neither are user friendly and both are worthless!

I haven't been able to create an account even though my credentials and account number are correct. I have emailed and called. I attempted to get this resolved months ago and am trying again. Customer service just keeps forwarding my issue to the "appropriate department." I am still unable to access my account and no one is helping me. I feel ignored and am beyond frustrated with this company and the lack of communication.

The app should have a way of making the HOA prove they have any right to fine homeowners. Its only facilitating shady business when HOA managers can use this app to arbitrarily charge fees to homeowners without any legal justification.

Hate this app. My HOA uses it so I'm stuck.

Lots of issues

User friendly and use for many things. my "go to" resource.

It's an OK app to use, but I would like to be able to pick the time instead of picking blocks of time for reservations. Even if it could be set to 1, 2, or 3 hours etc. it is not user-friendly for this option. It's only on the back end for the person who sets up the blocks of time to set. it and I don't like it because it sends an email to everybody on the list for each block of time that is taken. So, set beginning/ending time in hopes people know in between times are taken. Poor setup.

I have not been able to use this app. I've asked for help 6 times and all I get is a link to change my password, which I've done 6 times. I still can't get into the app on my computer and I haven't been able to load the app on my phone. Not a good service!

Terrible app I leave messages they never email me back on my work orders. They never call me back or leave a message. They never explain why my work orders are closed. Never answer the phone at their offic.

Since the latest app update I have stopped receiving notifications on the forum and news & events from strata advising of building services. Great app otherwise.

It was ok...until sudeenly I am not able to open it anymore.... it stopped working. Unistalled and install it again...no luck, same thing happened to my husband a few months back.

The concept sounds great, but as anyone over the age of 10 knows, it's the execution that matters & THAT rates today's solo ★ rating. First off, the app's code is so "twitchy" it makes reading a chore & entering data a nightmare. Was there any User testing? using, you know, a real group of targeted users? Opened it today & was informed of a (non-existing) update; annoying but hardly lethal - which cannot be said of the List of Permissions! THAT will require a much longer look & Questions. L8ter.

It sucks 99.99% of the times I am unable to open the app. Also , I am NOT interested in reading any comms between other users and the admins. Any comm. should be private , unless I choose otherwise.

As a Architectural Committee member, and having to use this feature is personally and professionally embarrassing. I have "approved" numerous projects, just to be told on the following page that I "declined" project, resulting me to have to call the HOA personnel that I had indeed, approved the project. Following up on the declined project, by texting or calling the homeowner that their project is approved and to ignore any declined project notification they received. Loss of time 💰

This applicaton is very ruudimentary. There are very few things you can do with it. I could not read the documents. I could not edit my profile, so it does not show my name and address for everyone to see. There are not FAQ to help solve the problems. I asked my property management to change my email address where they were sending the emails and now I am receiving duplicate messages on both e-mail accounts. Please, HELP!

The payment button goes nowhere, does not open the function. There is no Help link or any useful alternative info to help someone make a payment.

Can't create an account

90% of the time when I try to use this app it bugs out. Can't make payments, can't search documents.

Online using tablet, did not allow signin after user ID and password. I had to download the app. Display results didn't rotate.

App will not open. Installed, Uninstaller. Force stopped. Restarted android phone...nothing is working. Pretty poor app.

It appears that I don't have the ability to access everything for my community. Not sure if there is an update that needs to be forced. I'm not getting emails either so this might be a management company issue.
