FAKE!! Just like all the other apps out there. It's set up for the men to not have a match with those who are categorized as "liked you, viewed you" because this app wants you to pay to see anything. Also, a HIGH percentage of the profiles are fake scams trying to get you to talk to them elsewhere: WhatsApp or Snapchat, etc. Avoid these dating apps, PERIOD!!

Honest true experience. Website doesn't load, tech support got me in once, but back to same ole flashing screen and no log in. Downloaded the mobile app. Doesn't show my matches, conversations, nothing. Everything says 'error, please try again'. If it works for you great but nothing about the website or app works for me and it's not like I'm some computer or smartphone idiot.

Tried this site for fun, but again, like nearly all dating apps, you can't see who likes you unless you pay and I refuse to pay for that feature. The biggest way to get someone to pay, in my opinion, would be to at least see what you're missing out on, not some blurry, roll of the dice, hail marry on a profile that, if you wait a day or two, disappears! My first contact was a scammer. I took precautions, but do not oblige them when they want to move off the site. You can chat once you connect.

complete and utter trash is a good description for this app. I made an account on Friday and by Sunday after not talking to anybody I go to the app and it says an error has occurred. so I close the app open it back up and it wants me to sign back in yet every time I try to sign in it tries to claim that my password or my email is incorrect or invalid. I tried multiple times to get it to send me a reset for my password on my email and it just says email sent but there is no email. waste of time.

This is the worst app ever. Doesn't let you sign in and it doesn't let you sign out "if" you are lucky to sign in. Ads cover content when logging out. You try to refresh to see who's online and profiles are replaced with orange dots. Please stop trying to add/remove features and work on fixing this app.

Plenty of Fish (POF) = "an error has occurred". Perhaps there are plenty of fish here, but they make it hard to get to those fish. Generally, the app is useless until they fix it already.

way too many fake and really old inactive accounts, but you can't see that until after you've paid. stay away from this app.

this app promotes prostitution and scammers. I made one report and they deleted my account.

REAL SCAM ALERT. if you have a pof account linked to a phone number you no longer have, you cannot end the auto refill subscription. you can no longer just pay for a month and end it on play store cus it doesn't even show up in your subscriptions on there. you have to log in on a pc to cancel. I had to menu dive on the app just to see when or if I was going to get charged. I had to empty the bank account I used and get a new card. I reported all of this. if you email them they'll play dumb.

Just deleted my account. The app says somebody liked me within 5 miles, and I swiped everybody within 5 miles and matched nobody; basically, it is fake. I suggest not installing this app; save your time.

LITERALLY THE WORST DATING APP OF ALL TIME. They will ban your profile at ANY time and for NO reason and then point-blank refuse to tell you or reinstate it regardless of how nice you are to them (so make sure you don't spend any money on it). It is so incredibly bizarre and just downright rude. In all honesty though, it is a terrible app/site to use anyway, for a multitude of reasons.

Got Scammed by someone. They where face verified but they ended up convincing me to invest in Crypto. Not sure how many accounts are fake but be careful. I knkw there are a few legit accounts but if they ask you to invest in crypto or any other money involved, just block them. never leave the app if they want to talk in Signal app or the others I've heard. I reported the scammed and waiting for a response. Be safe guys. Once you meet someone in person and have their personal info.

Auto renewal scam It's virtually impossible to cancel it! I've tryed through the app and Google play store, even tryed though email, but you get the response that you can't find my account, non of the links work to cancel auto renewal! I'm having to get in touch with my bank to try and stop you taking money! Users beware it's impossible to contact anyone in charge of pof! So don't enter your bank / credit card details use a different dating site!

USE OPEN SOURCE ALTERNATIVES False marketing, shady practices (forcing inputting income), & what seems to be intentional adjustments of settings (i.e. when you search in a radius, it doubles it or when you set your gender to public, it just doesn't do that). The marketing is around the fact that you should be able to send messages freely. That's not the case, you get one message, then you pay going forward. This app is irredeemable. LITTERALY THE WORST DATING APP I'VE EVER USED

This is a fraudulent app. Do not download , save yourself sometime and money. almost every account on here hasn't logged in for years. Definitely no inactive account removals.

Bad app. Tried to set up an account ans got stuck. tried to change password wouldn't allow. contacted help and was told I was banned and needed to appeal. No indication as to why I was banned. Never actually spoke with anyone or established a profile. Piece of garbage.

POF has two glaring flaws that make it frustrating to use. First, there’s no option to simply decline a "Like"—you're forced to block someone just to remove them from your view. Second, the location data only lists a city with no state or distance, making it impossible to tell how far away someone actually is. Basic features like dismissing profiles and clear location info shouldn't be missing.

They all share the same data on you. Tinder is connected. Profiles on tinder have also liked me on PF. the exact same people or person. what the chances , someone you swipe left on , will swipe right on another app.

trying to reactivate my profile, but can't remember my password and I've asked for multiple password resets, but have not received any password reset emails. Tried making a new account, but my email is already registered. So I'm stuck as to how I'm meant to use this app. edit 22/10 tried online support over a week ago. first email sent me to the forgot password pages. second bit of support vaguely suggested that I may have been banned. However, no indication of a ban or reasoning were made. 🤷

I don't know if POF is to blame or just dating in 2026 in my area but the "quality" of men on this app was subterranean and paying for a subscription just wasn't worth it. I gave 2 stars because when I did need to reach out to POF for assistance, they were actually really good about answering and getting things done.

I posted a random picture as my profile picture as I didn't have any pictures ofy face on my pc, and Got locked out of my account due to needing to do facial verification and I obviously couldn't get past since my profile picture isnt of a person. I am unable to access my account to fix this issue nor can I delete my account. And obviously I cannot use my email nor my number to make a new one. All I get from support are seemingly just chatbot responses so obviously I'm not going anywhere.

Since when had my account ever been banned? Never. Zero communication about that being a thing. I asked about what the ban was about and was told thats the only way to appeal a ban and that this matter is now closed. I literally asked what ban and they couldn't tell me and proceeded to basically tell me to f off
