not so happy with this, too many tech issues

great app i bought this for my back porch it does amazing YES YOU HAVE TO BUY A PLAN ... I bought the plan with one camera and so on it 6 dollars and change a month over had it a handful of days and i like it... it moves in a 360° turn and it even leaves a note on the notification what it picked up on the clips it took yes you need a SD if you plan to keep your footage but either way i like the camera not good night vision is only issue i have and that what i needed it for the most thanks byeeee

It is incredibly frustrating to deal with a broken service, especially when customer support shifts blame instead of taking accountability for an obvious app failure. When a company refuses to acknowledge a technical issue on their end, I don't want to keep arguing with them. This isn't the first time I've had gaps in recorded video or video gone missing. the app usually saves a day prior without purchasing storage running on SD. Today all previous day was missing & all morning.

can't get live feed to show when not home. Not much security when you get an alert and the live feed won't show. Also cloud storage expense, why pay for storage when live feed doesn't work when needed.

I dislike these cameras so much. They never work. They are constantly going offline. They never detect movement for more than 5 seconds, even at the highest setting. They're garbage and that's where they are going. I didn't have any problem setting up the app. It just doesn't operate the cameras properly.

Absolutely SUCKS! I had a different light bulb camera which used the Esee app. it lasted a few years until this week. this app is almost useless and is total junk! I can't pan or scan! the stupid camera just sits in one direction constantly! junk!

Window Camera Works. But fails to recognize the SD card after a short period of time. it keeps saying no SD card. I've formatted it several times. So the actual camera recognise that the SD card because it allows you to format it. but fails again after a few minutes. I've bought brand new SD cards of different types. but still fails to recognize them making the camera totally useless. The motion sensor won't pick up movement either. Unfortunately I'm going to have to replace all of my cameras.

The cameras suck, the pictures suck and if you ask them they think that quality is acceptable. I talked with them and gave them a chance to make things right and they didn't. They will try to charge you for a years worth of service if you ask for the monthly plan.

A little bit of lag while using the controller function to move the camera around, and also when talking through it, but other than that, does what we need it to do.

there needs to be a feature where you can save SD card footage to your phone. other security apps do this by implementing a record button when viewing SD card footage to record while it plays.

for the price of service my service isn't great. the product is a little choppy and camera goes offline on the regular. ***UPDATE*** have been using for less than 2 months now. the camera freezes, gets stuck backwards (somehow), or goes offline almost daily. causing me to close app and reopen daily. the microphone keeps turning on by itself very often like every couple days I walk outside and hear the audio from inside my home being played outside from the speaker in the camera. not cool.

Poor quality. Most of the time, it takes a solid 2 minutes just to have a quick look through this camera, and that's only if it actually connects, which is only half the time at best it. Then, you can't just simply reset the camera without having to go outside on a step ladder to find the impossible hard to find reset button. And just how many times must that be done exactly? I'm sure it's often given this camera fails on so many levels. Very disappointed with this gadget. Save your money.

Why is everyone, try to see my Google account for it's not anything on there to see.

Latest update broke sound on screen mirroring to tv, it worked alright before update and it still works on my unupdated device. Please fix it in the next patch.

Thank you for the upgrade with added features, but it lacks one of the most important features. There absolutely needs to be an option to save clips from playback without having to physically remove the sdcard and download them to your computer. Saving events is CRITICAL for security and sharing them with authorities, which I have had to do many times.

was great until I was charged wrongly and within 3 days after the charge settled in my bank i figured out that this app is what over charged me by $90 they wouldn't give me a refund. there ad is falsely leading for the price charged.

Ever since the re design of the app it looks great but sometimes it takes 10 minutes or more to load the live camera feed. If it isn't fixed I'll have to cancel and get all new cameras. this is across all 6 of my devices whether I'm on wifi or cellular and location does not matter. I did not have this problem before the update. it was always slow but not this slow, my Google home camera loads the live feed instantaneously.

SD card filled up rather than cycle recordings. HD quality seems blocky. Event recognition saves slightly after event so some events are actually missed due to no longer being visible. Microphone does not pick up very well when trying to communicate with visitor.

Be very careful! *Keep speaker volume off as to avoid your personal Information being stolen, I had the speaker volume on when I gave my banking Info over the phone and soon after, I received a fraud alert from the bank and had to cancel my card, trust NOTHING! * Don't allow the app these microphone permissions due to the cameras being Inside your home or allow the apps to use your mobile data or picture In picture and restrict the battery usage on your phone.

if you're just using these as a monitor to look outside your house, but rarely catch people approaching or on my porch. I also don't like the change to the app where you have to click on that specific camera to get the events.

With all these upgrades, the cameras have started buffering, and I hadn’t experienced these issues before. I’ve had them for about year, and now I need to adjust the night vision settings every evening to get clear sightings. Could you please look into these problems? I’d be happy to update my rating once they’re resolved. Also, the cameras seem to work better with the free subscription than with the paid plan. I’d really appreciate your help fixing these issues.

Using 6 Wi-Fi PTZ cameras from Temu... Entry gate, driveway and front yard all covered. I love being able to see the house... See deliveries etc.. While I'm away.... I bought 2 more of these DW cameras now several rooms inside the house covered...4 new cams (DW type-5G) to put up in & out ADVICE: for Those people having SIGNAL LOSS/CAMERA OFFLINE, I fixed those issues by using only Fast Chargers & Fast Cables including on 2 yellow bar of signal/ Fixed Hard to reset issues..

sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. hate the new UI update! hate the motion detection! very unstable. no, i do not pay for subscriptions. will say no internet connection ALOT, when there IS. And now as of yesterday 10/15/26, it wont even view live🤬

I love the cameras but I get really frustrated with the lack of sd card playback. it constantly shows thumbnails of activity but it rarely allows the playback which is really upsetting because i bought 126gb sd card pretty much for no reason. I contacted customer service and unfortunately they were no help🤷🏾‍♀️. if they could fix that issue I would give 10 🌟.

While America is being decolonized ❤️‍🩹this camera has a setting where it swivels to track motion. The camera is cute. Comes in a 2-pack for $30 from Amazon. You have to go and set it on the track motion setting in the settings.

it works ok on the free version, it doesn't catch everything and misses a lot of action at our front gate. where as before at the start it was getting everything and everyone. it works though

no video recording, just a picture in the memory card during a motion. And it's being blocked by a neighbor and delivery people.

this surprisingly worked very well for what I needed but I see the update automatically sets the app for a 7 day pro trial which I don't need and never will. it's like they made a working cam and app that everyone likes because it's free to use for simple quick checks to see what's out there but they feel the need to try and cut us off from using it in a limited but useful capacity? I'll change my rating if I find it's not useable in a week.

The camera will capture stills of movement, but I can't get live feeds - all I get is a twirling 'busy' circle. If someone knocks on my door or walks into my yard, I cannot look 'live' to see who it is, I can only look at snapshots well after the fact. I have excellent connection and network speeds; it seems to be an issue with the app itself.

it disconnects from the wifi alot , I have to unplug and plug it back in every few days. while it does auto connect it back and starts working fine. it's just annoying to do.

My cameras just crashed again. Everytime their is an update within a week or two the Cameras do not work live and you have to reboot all of them hooked to the app. It is one thing if you are close but if you are out if town you are screwed. I have owned these Cameras for almost a year. When an Update comes out you know a crash is coming. Seems like their Engineers just do not have the ability to solve this predictable problem. Very disappointing!!!!

I like this Ai window camera because I can see clearly at night. However, it records only at night like 8 or 9 until 5 or 6am. Sometimes it records something during the day. I checked my time settings which is from 12am to 11:59 pm,but it didn't work. And, it seems only records bright lights, but not when people walking. Another thing is that I clicked the 7-day free subscription but it charged me a full year subscription after a couple of days.

if you don't pay a monthly charge even with an SD card you can't access the video. and without a service monthly you also won't get the camera working correctly all the time. DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA. SCAMS HAVE TO ALWAYS PAY..

I've had cameras for a bit. They are good for the most part. However, I do not like that, with the new update, it keeps popping up asking for Instavision to be allowed into my phone logs....why is that even needed? It's not...go away with that noise🙄

it sucks! you cant go to you recordings on your memory card you cant fast forward or rewind on your memory card...the UI sucks it has only limited way you can use it...its full of ads and it sucks...do better! also the reviews are bloated if not fakes....ive seen 10 times the amount of 1 stars than 5 stars so there aint no damn way it has a real 4.5 rating wish I had never bought the damn thing

when I go to the app to check on the camera I almost never get in the app it's always trying to connect, I have other cameras that work perfectly fine,

misses a lot of pictures. I've had several people walk up to my door and it doesn't always take pictures and when it does take pictures they are very blurry and can't make out the person. it's only good if you're watching it live.

Deceptive app and device: I haven't had this device for over 6 months, yet I can't view live images unless I'm there with it, which defeats the purpose. The tricky thing is that it works fine for a little while and then starts giving me more pop-up ads to buy this subscription and it hasn't worked smoothly since. Companies like this should not exist just to provide half-assed service.

I bought the subscription thing and that would fix it now I'm missing half of the stuff that needs to be recorded like deliveries wild animals people it's not picking up anything it turns itself backwards it'll record the tree moving but it won't record the delivery driver walking up on my porch not worth the money it does not make it work better also glitches all the time the app shuts off won't let you look and it loses data

horrible. app only works if your phone is connected to the same wifi the camera is on . do not recommend at all. the cam is ok quality for indoor use only. don't mount to anything with vibration or noise or you can't hear anything through it picture quality matches the cost of the camera the ptz is workable but not precision.

Awesome camara that u can buy extra security cheap for it. Some insurance company works with the security company they use and u can get lower insurance rates.

eay to set up. Great pictures. however the app doesn't seem to be 100% in picking up things. unfortunately I have to watch for a specific person and 60% of the time it doesn't pick up the car in my driveway and 30% of the time it doesn't get her right on my porch. and when it does it's not until she's on the porch. it seems to be getting worse.

I bought this camera to set up to watch my Frenchie victory so when I go to the doctor's and church & out of town I can watch him and he hears my voice but I won't be letting him hear my voice cuz he just kept looking for me it made me miss him more 😔

love the style of this bamboo chalet shaped camera feeder, but could never get the included camera to stay connected to wi-fi for LIVE feed option. recorded 6 sec events fine. instavision could not replace camera. have to box product back up and return faulty product to Amazon.

Garbage. Horrible software to operate. Even though they advertised 24/7 SD Card recording, you can't review video. Was actually told by them to remove SD from camera and play on computer. RIDICILOUS! All they do is try and get you to purchase their cloud service.

It works fine on my cell phone, but I would prefer it to be on my laptop. I cannot find out how to get it on my laptop. Can I get assistance with this, or is it even possible? I want to be able to monitor without leaving my phone on and active constantly and running my battery down. How can I use this camera on my laptop or another, bigger screen than only my tiny phone?

I've had my bird watching camera for a few months now and overall I am happy with it, but I changed my review to 3 stars for a couple reasons. I have a lot of issues with my live feed going offline, I have to turn the camera off and back on and sometimes that will fix it but currently my live feed does not work. It will still record when it detects motion but no live feed. I don't know if this is just an internet connection issue or what but the camera is on my porch so cant get it any closer.

I bought cameras and used this app because of all the good reviews. The cameras were easy to install and the app was easy to use but the cameras fail to do one simple job - actually record anything useful. Even at the highest setting for motion detection and notifications, anyone can come on my property and take anything and the cameras catch none of it. SD cards don't seem to work for recording. Customer service chat doesn't work, nor will they email back to help.

I am very pleased with the cameras the 4k is clear and even at night the view is crisp and I can see everything that needs to be seen. I just ordered the perfect SD card and they say it is designed for Instavision camera so I am happy to see them once I receive them. I have not decided on which plan I am going to join, but I am going to get one of them.

My experience with this security camera has been consistently disappointing. The product never functioned as advertised. I encountered overcharging issues with no Price correcting. I believe the cameras by InstaVision are quite easily hacked. Raising security concerns. The support team, while courteous, was unable to provide effective solutions or authorize any corrective measures. It made the entire process a regrettable endeavor. I would advise potential buyers to consider ANY other options.

Quality is amazing. Not sure about speed when loading. I do not currently have an SD card in it and not sure I that will make a difference. Overall satisfied.

It work great at 1st an now I can't get any of my devices to connect to Bluetooth it is not my wifi an when I go to check for the volume an not to record voice in rooms it's on when I turned it off. would like to know how to go about sending these cameras back please.. thank you

I love it it's great for the price and does the trick even if the notifications are delayed by 5 or 10 seconds. only reason why I'm not giving it five stars is because I can't connect it to my Google Home like other cameras.

The app likes to pick and choose times of notifying you. Works perfect all day, the next day it only starts notifying at 6pm onward LOL Not to mention reading plates with these cameras is a joke

When this app works it's great. But when it goes offline it takes me at least one day or two to get it paired properly. It's a vicious circle. The friggin scan won't work. I get to the point where I can insert my wifi info then it says pair with the QR code again! I'm sick of paying for something that doesn't work!

Your app is horrible!! After all your of updates it has gotten worse since March. I need to see what's going on outside of my home. You continually blame my wifi. Everything else in my house is working just fine. Fix the problem!

With this app, I'm able to monitor my home security camera network both at home and whenever I'm away. The Point and Tilt cameras are available on Temu online shopping for about $26 for a 4 pack. The App is free to use. There are levels of increased security protection offered by Instavision. The wireless cameras are easy to set up on your home network. Just provide a good 5 volt DC /USB C Connection for power.

this camera is great works very well. and has affordable monthly plans. or just use the free side don't get any extras that way. but far most I dig this security cam. motion tracking works very well.

The cameras work great. My only issue is There's no way to retry payment. I keep my card locked. So that scammers can't just take stuff off my card. And i've accidentally had it locked when my insta vision card payment was supposed to come out. So there's no way to retry payment. So that I can lock my card. Unlock it to make the payment and then relock my card. I have to keep it unlocked until they decide to take the payment out. So it would be nice to have a payment option in the app.

It's ok. I don't think using the app is very intuitive, and I get confused at what day I'm looking at when I'm browsing the events. The biggest complaint I have is not being able to speed up playback. It's unbelievably annoying having to watch 3min videos in real time just to see if anything actually happened, especially when there's 40 "events" on 1 windy night. I'm trying to catch whose dog is pooping in my yard, so I end up having to watch hours of video of nothing. 🤦‍♀️

it loses its connection every few days and stops recording video and sending me alerts. Customer service just tells me everything looks fine on their end and gives me stupid idea,s about how to fix it and nothing works. I use it as a dummy camera and purchased a better one and put it in its place and put thos one in a spot that doesn't really matter much..

I bought 4 from Temu, and the let me tell you how happy I am, night vision on 3 are perfect, fixing to get 2 more, had them for about a year, I would definitely recommend them, don't forget purchasing the memory cards.

The image quality is very good, and the setup is easy. I subscribed to the service package to experience the AI detection features for people, animals, and vehicles; so far, the vehicle detection feature works quite well, but the person and animal detection features are not working.

there are way better options and id recommended people to look at those instead. any event it records shows a screenshot of what set it off (like someone walking past the camera) but when you want to watch the video it records, whatever set the motion detector is long gone before it even starts recording, so then youre just stuck looking at a video of a whole lot of nothing. takes forever for ANYTHING to load if they even load at all. any audio recorded also sucks. looking into other cameras.

it records what it wants too, I'll get a notification of motion detected when someone pulls up to my home but it will only record them walking away. I needed to show proof about a bad delivery and it only caught the driver walking back to the truck. I've reached out to the company on numerous occasions and was told it won't record beyond 20 feet, yet it's not recording in very close range. And paying for a plan is wasteful

these cameras are trash, most of the time they dont log on to wifi and when they do they still dont work and it takes for ever to log on to them...my energizer cam is identical and it works great.

This app is very disappointing. The quality of the camera is good, but it takes way too long to load the live feed. Most importantly, the playback on tge SD Card is very poor. It doesnt go back to the date and time, you want it to, which is a total waste of time. I purchased two of these, and will have to revert to my previous cameras, because i can watch continues playback for 35 days on my sd card. This app needs to be fixed. Im very disappointed with this purchase.

I believe my account has been compromised. I should be able to 1) receive notifications of, and 2) have the ability to review all recordings before they are permanently deleted. Nefarious actors can clone a phone and see, in real time, the new account password as it is changed. So, I must have the ability to see the randomized Mac address of each device 1) that has logged in, and 2) that makes changes to my account. Thank you.

Initially no problems, but needed to pay subscription to enable the record feature which we did and seemed to record everything we were aware of, even passing traffic, walkers etc. However recently it's either being selective in what it's recording (occasionally or nothing at all). Didn't even record myself gardening or the window cleaner! An update (27 04 26) now requires an SD card for recordings! Unfortunately too late to return. Will be ending subscription and getting something much better.

Terrible system do not subscribe to it. You have no control over what it decides should be recorded or not and no way to see anything outside of the footage it considered an event. I get endless notifications about me home alone sorting laundry but no way to watch the two hours of the day I had people over and want to scan through. Also you can't see your camera footage on a computer only a phone or tablet. Would be convenient to watch live feed from my work computer but you can't.

a good camera when it works. it WILL NOT stay connected! Very poor firmware system. I am looking for a different brand to replace it. it's no good to me if it doesn't work WHEN I NEED IT.

This camera freezes constantly, but customer service is great,thus the reason for 2 stars. would have given -1 for the product if it were possible. I guess you get what you pay for.

I am actually surprised by the quality of the video. The speaker volume when talking to said person is not very loud but other than that..... solid choice. only wish i would have gotten the battery one. but still love the wired as well

If you value your privacy do not use this app or any cameras associated with it. I have used the app for about a month. They offer security monitoring subscriptions, which I refused, and they are very pushy about it. After a month they activated a free trial on Enhanced Monitoring without my permission and began sending me detailed reports of what was seen on my cameras. I requested they end the trail I didn't approve and they refused, tried to get me to give them my credit card to end it. Scam!

Extremely slow to load, to rotate, etc. Also, as I'm seeing in many other reviews, you can't watch a continuous live feed. I can watch live for only 2 - 3 seconds before camera stops.

The cameras are decent enough I guess, especially for the price paid but the app takes minutes for all for of my cameras to show their live feed. Also subscribe and able to watch past events but the problem is that it doesn't capture half of the things that I know are happening. It's hard to give a higher rating when it's not capturing moments that I need to see. Put in SD cards and they do NOT record 24 hrs as said. Only captures 3 second movements. DO NOT BUY!

it works, most of the time, or it did for a couple months. They regularly try to sell you the cloud version, and when I updated it, the live version starts messing up. I had to switch to a different device once, and it looks like I might have to again. I wish someone would make an inexpensive camera that could be used as a monitor only and would work for more than 3 months.

The image radius is smaller than my old cameras. You also need to buy a subscription either monthly or yearly for continuous recording. My old cameras didn't need a subscription, just an SD card & my Wi-Fi. Many updates needed with these cameras as well. These cameras take FOREVER to load the live feed. My old cameras loaded fast without any problems. These also DON'T record everything. It seems to record what it wants. Not impressed! On the hunt for new cameras. Don't waste your money on these.

The picture can be great when it focuses correctly. quality drops when zooming in. It drives me crazy that there is no way to fully shut off night vision. It's nice that customer service can help immediately and control things remotely. Prices for subscription are shockingly high, especially without connection to Alexa or home devices. No replay without subscription is extremely disappointing and it's the only camera I have that does not provide at least a brief video.

Have had the camera for almost 3 months and purchase the cheapest package! The issue I have with it is the night looks like this! I either choose the black and white or this lime green and night its not very good and the whole reason I got because it's Me and my daughter. The other thing I don't like it when it captures video's its like they are 1min and the whole thing is like fadt forwarding it's so odd to me. The worst thing is if I leave the house I can't just pull up live video 😪

I gave them a 2 star review cause the app works great as far as the features and layout and such it's a good app however when I signed up for the monthly plan with more than one camera which is $9.99 a month they charged me $149.99 and placed me on the yearly subscription which they should not be allowed to do. I do not understand what happened or anything and they will refund it they say but it takes several days and it just blows my mind how you can select a plan and they can switch it! BEWARE

I bought 1 camera off Temu and probably 30 others using different apps and there were always issues when I tried to set up those cameras on the "recommended" apps. maybe got 2 to work even when I did everything it said to do. Let me say this, it literally took me 10 after downloading this app to have an up and running camera. I was so happy with it I went and bought 4 more of the same camera plus the storage offer ranges from a basic(which is free) to no more than $12 for the premium. Best app!

I love it. My son set it up for me and he was done within 5 minutes. Picture is clear in b/w or color. You can move to see and area or when it detects something it moves on its own and takes a picture. Has a light for the night turns on when it detects movement. Zoom in to area you want to see closer is a plus. Its well worth the price. There is great plans and not expensive like the others I've seen before. Highly Recommend this product. Purchase it and you wont regret it. 100% 👍

Set your expectations low. The app needs a setting to capture or not and one to notify or not. No notification no capture. Without the $150 a year subscription it's not very friendly and the app has a constant advertisement running in it. Battery killer. Mounting has no adjustment, straight out and only 105 degrees view. Fixed attachment to a window makes it challenging to get a good Capture sensor location. Unless you're right in front of the area you want to capture it may not be workable

What a worthless app! Not user friendly at all! Doesn't show any video even though I have a Sim card installed. This app shoves it's adds in your face to subscribe to their service! It wouldn't even track lower movements, it just points straight ahead! The only photos I got were a blurry mess! I returned my cameras because they're connected to this garbage app!

My biggest issue is that you can not access the recorded events even with an SD card unless you pay for a subscription. Even the cheapest cameras you buy at Walmart (Geeni) give you the ability to see recorded events. Not just pictures of the first motion detected. Next issue is the fact it takes for ever to load the live camera but yet on every video they show you advertising these they load up instantly. How bout the fact the camera movement is slow and some times non responsive.
