you get three likes a day. total waste of time. they even offer it as a reason for leaving requests a bunch of photos to match yet all the people I encounter have three photos. 8th time downloading this and it's not looking anymore promising than before. I keep getting suggested this app but it feels like a total scam.

Told me I'm out of free likes while on Premium and showing me a screen to purchase premium, which informed me I had premium. Basically premium no longer gives you unlimited likes. Worthless app, I will no longer be paying

Met een gratis account krijg je maar zeer beperkte mogelijkheden. Je kunt slechts enkele profielen per dag liken; voor meer interactie moet je betalen. Helaas zit er tegenwoordig weinig leven in de app. Waar Hinge vroeger nog veel actieve gebruikers had, lijkt tegenwoordig bijna niemand de app meer te gebruiken. Ook de profielen vallen tegen. Veel bevatten nauwelijks informatie en bestaan alleen uit een naam en één of twee foto's. Er zijn betere alternatieven beschikbaar.

It learns what you like then shows you anything but to try to beat you down into paying. The only reason to use this app- the location changing- is now hidden behind a paywall. Zero point to using this app over any others now. Delete

This is the best app for long term dating! Most of the friends, coworkers that I have, has found their significant others on this app. I am free to play, so I don't spend money on dating apps and this app has given me the most matches and dates out of all the other apps I have tried. I like the layout and the design of the app where you don't have to pay money just to message them. I'm glad I don't have to use dating apps anymore and believe you guys can do it! Don't give up!

Don't waste your money! Hinge is terrible and not worth the money. The algorithm is not correct you receive profiles outside of your set choices. Do you like women? You'll get men. Are you into men? You'll get women.

Messages attached to likes is good. Signals are useful but not the best, you can lose your signals badge if it's someone elses turn to message and they choose not to. Other people not messaging shouldn't affect your badge. Overly recommends people you've swiped left on, they enter your recommended after too short a while. Zero effort to curate the profiles it recommends you based on who you previously liked. I'm also fairly certain HingeX does not boost your profile... Do NOT pay for hinge.

Banned for a harmless joke in response to a prompt because the woman was crazy and reported me, called me nasty names. The Hinge team should be ashamed, and are very clearly biased against men.

Used to work, got many matches but Hinge made it worse for users. I remade my profile after taking a break and haven't received a single like in a year lol. Pathetic..all dating apps are trash and so are their greedy, dishonest developers.

Cool app to use but after the latest update, the revisit profile button is way too close to the skip button. If you're not careful you'll end up hit that instead of the skip button. Would be cool if they could place it elsewhere

Damn. Hinge is different. I'm getting way more communication. but it's kinda overwhelming. But the app also encourages you to stay focused and close conversations down if you're not engaging. It's a really good design. Even for a poly/pansexual guy.

I'll match with a few legit looking people sometimes, then other times get multiple matches in a row (same bio) advertising an Instagram handle. Most likes and roses I send never get a response. It's so bad that the premium memberships aren't worth it, in my opinion. Also suspicious that conversations tend to end right as you want to organize a meetup or suggest chatting off-app. Almost like there is AI looking for keywords.

I paid £99.99 for 3 months of Hinge X. Not a single date. I got some matches but few wanted to message me back. Eventually one of my matches explained they were confused by my messages. It turns out only half of my messages were being received. Imagine that! An app built around messaging and the messaging functionality does not work. So it turns out I paid to chat with a brick wall for 3 months. I asked customer service for a refund and it was rejected. Ah rejection.

Horrible. Removed for no reason, customer service is nonexistent and rude when a bot does respond. I can't believe any real human being is using this vile companies app.

I can confidently say that this is one dating app that allows and gives a realistic experience, and you can meet someone who has good intentions. I've met mine, so thank you.

Won't let me cancel. Tried canceling my subscription the day before it expired. Pressed the cancel button here in the playstore and apparently it didn't work. I was charged today, and when you go into subscriptions it just continually buffers and will not bring up your subscription. Typicall, making it difficult to cancel your subscription.

over all a good experience. enjoy reading the profiles. I think it's great that you can message the people who like you easily. I also enjoy that I can be creative when sending a message because it takes a little bit of effort to make a decent profile. the ai helps you. a few times the ai questioned my humor before sending messages which was nice I guess I had to be less risky but still clever. I have matched and met one person. people on the app are to skeptical and burnt out to connect with.

Was a bunch of hits and misses, until it wasn't and I met the best person I could've ever asked for.

The app is completely gender biased as it registers complaints only from women and gives no attention to concerns from people of different genders.

Two stars. This is a safety problem for women. The pop-up tells you to take it off the app and meet in person or unmatch, and it fires after only two days of matching. I've been unmatched a lot this week, all after less than three days of talking, and I honestly think this pop-up is why. I've had Five men who matched less than four days ago ask for my number.I will rate the app better when it goes away,get rid of the ai prompt.Women shouldn't feel pressured to add off the app,were filtering men.

Not as unworldly many Scammers and Bots as on Okcupid or Tinder, but if you are picky, you run into them a lot, and then the app also tends to become a waste of time to be honest. Same with Bumble, it is becoming a general problem with these apps. But on Hinge you can't sort out the unverified! which makes it unusable honestly because of the waste of time you spend with scammers.

I have been off and on Hinge for years now, everytime I'm on I rarely get any matches. I made a strong profile each time and always add comments to my likes, this past year I only had 1 match. I just don't think Hinge is worth it anymore.

Taken my money, but haven't shown my profile to many. It seems to be a process of extracting more money by only doing what it purports to do if you upgrade to HingeX. I'm sure there's Trading Standards rules about such things, but how can I prove it?

The worst site. A fraudulent account member started to communicate with me, and as a result, I canceled and deleted my account. Some weeks later, Hinge billed $59.99 for a renewal fee on a deleted account. I have spent weeks trying to unsuccessfully resolve the issue with them, had to get my bank involved, and since they have refused me a refund, I will have to cancel my card to stop the recurring charge. I do not recommend Hinge.

After upgrading my membership, I have been experiencing serious issues with the app. Although I receive notifications indicating that I have received numerous likes, I am unable to view them properly. I am also unable to see likes, comments, or messages from other users. Furthermore, I am unable to view any new profile. Since I am unable to use the essential features of my paid membership, I would also like to request a full refund of my subscription payment.

this might genuinely be to me the most reliable dating app, you don't get a lot of likes to give out, but I find that these likes do actually reach the person you wanted to match with and I think as well for the purpose I'm using it for to get into a long term relationship it's definetly great at matching with people with similar (what would you call it) values?

I genuinely did try finding some romance on that app. I even bought hinge X, it did get more more likes but it was hard work i cant lie and those 60 women I matched with within 20ish days only one of them showed real sign of interest. The rest, I genuinely wondered why the hell they even matched me. Most women on there just wasted my time if im honest, some gave me their numbers just to never reply to me. I gave up on this app and I gave up on love too it's not for me

used the app for a few weeks didn't pay. the second I get my first match I can't send messages. relog and my account has been removed. no notice telling me what I did which was nothing abnormal. guess matching without paying is against the terms. and I thought tinder was the worst I guess there is a new champion.

I won't say its the "worst" dating app ever but definitely not better, 3 years ago this app wasn't bad and you could maybe get lucky, nowadays it feels like something changed in the algorithm where even though the userbase has increased significantly and I have a much better profile than i did before, i get maybe 20% of the matches i used to get.

why is it that you get a limited number of likes unless u pay? thats so ridiculous. the rest of the apps kinda good, aesthetics are nice and its easy to navigate. Long as you want to pay, you might find this app useful.

I have had both free and paid memberships and gone on some in-person dates. The app is packed with fake profiles using stolen pictures, and most of my time on the app has been wasted on rejecting the fake profiles so I can get to the real ones. Like all dating apps, it is designed to keep you on the app, which means the developers have an incentive to not connect you with your perfect person. If they really cared about getting you off the app, they would offer a one-time fee lifetime membership.

Takes any money you spend on it then bans you with the "zero tolerance" policy and wont even tell you what rule/s you broke. context: was playing a game server and had beef with a guy, suspect he false reported me and i got banned. without any response in the appeal

I was banned with no explination after doing everything the same for years on the app. The appeal process is also confusing so I can't appeal the decision which I'm almost certain was made in error. This was done shortly after I made my first paid subscription with this app so I feel robbed and discriminated against.

My 1st impression of the app is that it's kind of useless to subscribe if you don't have the looks of a top model influencer with a lot of cash to spend all day travelling the world etc... It's almost like looking at profiles of Instagram. I'm looking to date a normal woman, not some kind of babe that is way out of my league. Some profiles are so well made with pics and texts they almost look like an ad agency made them. Think i gonna delete the app before even starting lol, useless to me.

So I got banned on Tinder and Hinge for no reason whatsoever; the only thing I can think of is that I was using a VPN (as both accounts got banned at the same time). When I appealed, Tinder removed the ban, but Hinge refused to overturn their decision. After sending multiple emails to try and get to the bottom of it, the only response I got was that the decision was final and they won't look at my case... what a joke this app is

It didn't send me a sms text to verify my number even though I've got an account and it's locked me out for trying. I've tried all the different methods like restarting my phone, turning on/off airplane mode and using another phone. Please advise

For the first couple weeks shows great matches, after you purchase it goes silent, trying to get you to buy boosters or more time on their app to find someone. Consistently, we'll show you people outside of your preference, or nobody at all for weeks. i think apps are starting to fade out.

How can you test this app if you only get 4 FREE likes and it goes straight to paying subscription? Why would anybody pay for this app if you can NOT test the app properly? How do the devs think giving 4 free likes will be the perfect amount to test this app. Man this app is a joke like Tinder

All the same boring people on there who never interact, no people ever match with you, paid for services are an absolute rip off, confusing interface to use. Yeah I'll be deleting this but not for the reasons these morons advertise it for. The only person I matched with was an ex drug user, alcoholic and a mental headcase who caused me a lot of distress, which screams volumes for such a useless dating site.

Even paid for the for Hinge X membership because apparently it puts you to the top. Still zero likes and matches. Went a week of liking a leaving witty comments, still nada. Cancelled membership and deleted this pointless app. All it did was make me feel like a failure and use my battery up.

Got a "too many verification attempts" error on literally my first SMS attempt while trying Hinge for the first time. Support asked for my app version, iOS version, timestamp, etc. I went out of my way to collect everything, expecting an actual investigation. Their response? "Contact your carrier, we can't help further." I receive verification codes from other services just fine. Why ask for technical details if you're just going to send a generic response and wash your hands of the problem?

im poly and I found both of my wives on hinge.. you may have to move around state to state if you don't mind long distance but most women there are looking for longterm and if you're poly you could find your first second or third and I found my second and third.. great app overall easy to navigate and it only took two months..

Biggest complaint is straight identifying men having access to out gay men via the app. i thought this was a dating app, not a place for your little experiment. It's insulting and reductive. These men should not be allowed to use the app in this manner. They should be downloading grindr.
