Great app! Really good for lightweight phones like my Telstra T-Essential 2 that runs on Android Go but still a really smooth and simple app!

I was being charged $21 dollars per week for 2 weeks, not sure how when I originally had google pay previously. I did ask for a refund, however was denied by google in the process. Im unsure why they chose to screw over the US by switching to this when gpay was free to use.

It's extremely irritating that I can't mute this garbage app when tapping to pay without muting my whole God damn phone. Google's apps literally get worse and worse as time goes by. I regularly find myself searching for alternative apps to replace Google's poorly developed apps

Repeatedly stops working with Google authentication error on Samsung watch 4. Can be restarted by deleting cache, but this is a nuisance and requires phone to reinstall cards. If the app is undependable it's really useless. Nov 2: Even after support call, app still stops working with same error, making it useless at the checkout counter.

I am so stressed. one of my payment card needed update. i clicked on get code but there is no 6 digits sent to my bank, just alphanumeric no Google DW whatever. i got debited the three times i requested to get code and what is in the description isnt even what i will call a 6 digits code. im exhausted trying to figure this out. this started when i tried buying coin/recharging on Bzzcst app and it got declined. i tried another bank card and got same issue error [OR-CAC-02] [OR-FGEMF-71]..code

if I'm standing in line to pay,I am vulnerable to show people and cameras my passcode, it's horrible, can I change my verification code so it's different to my phone unlock pass code? it's dangerous. Try harder Google.

Very happy with the update/changes. App seems to run smoother and the vertical stack is so much more convenient with multiple cards and quick one hand use! UI also looks cleaner 👍

Google, Apple, and Samsung hold near complete control of tap-to-pay. That's gross and I'd rather use a plastic card.

Blocked my Google Pay account for no reason during traveling to the other country. Most horrible experience. Takes them DAYS to verify my identity, even tho my documents stay the SAME. All my cards are unusable.

Tap doesn't work when with any card, payment or loyalty. Reported twice and tried restarting several times. Nothing works.

I used to use google pay all the time but... I hesitate these days cause... it automatically activates contactless as soon as i open the app... It should ask everytime for biometrics or pin when we are in the app and everytime we get back after we leave the app because It's unacceptable cause when I try to scan the bus ticket when i get on thebus, it taps in from my card... please look at apple and samsung wallet they are much trust worthy... you guys should look into it please...

Nothing works anymore... My cards keep disappearing, I can't see my boarding pass and trying to add anything just gives me an error. I tried clearing cache and data on the app and on play services, I even deleted and reinstalled the app. Nothing has helped

The new vertical card layout is much worse than the previous horizontal layout. Horizontal cards are more intuitive and easier to operate with a single hand.

The vertical stack of cards is clunky, long winded and annoying compared to the previous horizontal swiping. Cannot easily see which card is selected.

From the best and my favorite wallet to a useless app. After the latest update, it has been mixing the cards and I have ended up paying with the wrong account multiple times.

I'm not impressed. last few times I've gone into a retail outlet. I've gone to pay and the information in my Google wallet regarding my payment methods was gone and when I go to re-enter it I have to sit on the phone for 30 minutes and get verification from my bank. Thank you Google for wasting my time and putting me in very embarrassing situation several times. My suggestion to everybody is to get rid of the digital tether and do things the old school way. Too unreliable

Used to work fine. Recently the app has started to forget the chosen card and reverting back to default mid payment, leading to wrong card being charged. Happens occasionally when paying with NFC, haven't noticed any logic when it happens.

Should and has been a terrific app and its great to be able to use this rather than carrying cards. However, its become more difficult to use with recent updates. The vertical scrolling carousel is dreadful, difficult to select the right card. Also payments are not appearing very quickly meaning no proof of purchase, forcing me to start having receipts again! Hence, it's a backwards step now.

I hate the new interface. The current way of selecting a card is very awkward and annoying. The previous one, which allowed you to change the payment method by swiping cards left and right, was much more convenient.

Ever since the update to stacked cards from swipe, I have had problems using my commuter card. The app keeps defaulting to other cards even if I select the commuter card, not recognizing the commuter card, etc and it is costing me money because of double charges abd discounts I'm losing out on. There was no problem using my commuter card before this change.

It's very frustrating that both Apple wallet and Samsung wallet have authentication before making contactless payments, yet the Google wallet developers still have not added any authentication system. Having your phone unlocked is not the same thing as wanting to pay money to the nearest payment terminal. I hope that Google is eventually able to just copy what Samsung and Apple have.

suddenly the Google wallet icon has stopped showing on lock screen. have tried everything but can't get it back so now I'm not sure if it's actually working unless I unlock the phone, open the app and swipe to see what card,if any is selected. only had the app on a new phone for two days.

Since then I have had numerous instances where I cannot use my google wallet to pay for things. not sure what has been changed in the most recent update but it needs to be reverted. *edit: in response to the dev. been using google wallet for years. have only developed the issue since the most recent update.

reorder cards not working

Was given 5 mins to set a lockscreen, or they promise to delete my payment methods if I don’t conform to this absurd new policy. Been here 3 years with no lockscreen; power cuts to the antenna when the phone is shut anyway, so it’s equivalent to a physical wallet. I don't lose my cards because my wallet doesn't have padlocks, and a lockscreen won't stop remote hacking or an open phone being snatched. Put a check at payment instead of trying to control my property, officially done with this app.

This app used to work great for quick card payments and easy access to gift cards/loyalty cards, but since the latest updates it's a nightmare. Not sure why you changed the ability to swipe between cards, the UX is worse now. Payment cards are no longer loading or allowing payments consistently and I can't see my loyalty/gift cards. Not sure if it's related but my phone battery is being drained really fast since the update too. Please fix this!!

I'm using this app on Google pixel 10. after a system update, it has no response to the terminal with NFC on and valid added cards. this made me switch back to use my bank again. I tried to find fixes on online forums. but didn't make it work again.

Google pay by multi Debit Bank account, credit card received from all of my application money into my wallet connect.

The card selection method is dramatically worse after a recent update. The previous carousel format and sideways swiping worked perfectly with visible nicknames under each card. Both features have been removed from the start screen meaning multiple clicks when some cards look identical. A frustrating downgrade to the user experience. Are these feature updates not tested on real people?

The changes they've made are so redundant and overly complicated. It requires way too many clicks and scrolling to now find passes that I've just added. I don't want to have to favorite things for them to show up on the home screen I'd rather they just already be there like it used to. Then I have to remember to unfavorite then when there's no more use. the previous app would already have them in order by priority date!

I have a gift card. I load the gift card. I'm at the checkout. I'm looking right at the gift card. I point it to the reader. It doesn't use the gift card. Next to worthless.
