By far the best car insurance app on the market today. It's fun and easy to use; and takes the burden off of high rate premiums by allowing me to only pay for what I need. I can easily adjust my car policy on the app and establish a fair rate, while having more then State minimum coverage.

prices too high for just liability

works well for my limited insurance needs. I only have car insurance but I can pay easily through the app & easy access to cards/proof of insurance. never had an accident or needed to file a claim so can't speak on any of that but I'm pleased with the app for my simple use.

I'm not installing any app I got a virus the other day and locked out of my phone!!!!!! my phone is completely locked I can't get in it

im a new customer and I set up my account for automatic payment. I logged on my account and they never took out the payment and im being charged a $8.00 late fee now. Already a dissatisfied customer.

a one-page summary and press to select options and autofill made this process a breeze! not that I like paying, but if you have to, they designed a great website page to do so! about time somebody thought about the consumer 🧍🧍

I can't open the app

The app stopped working after months of functioning normally. It was pretty awful before it stopped working though. The app requires ALL the permissions: phone, location, contacts and accounts, camera, physical activity, microphone, nearby devices. If you don't give access to everything it doesn't work properly. The app also runs constantly in the background. The longest I logged it running was 114 hours before I stopped it. I have not had any other insurance apps that ran constantly.

progressive has been a wonderful experience to have as my insurance. it's simple and easy. most of all very reasonable. especially on a tight budget as we all are now days. just can't go wrong.

I've had the app for a few years but now I think it's been after the most recent update the app won't even open, I click on the app , it open to the start up screen then crashes and I get a pop-up the says app isn't responding and it's every time I try to open it it just keep crashing and I can't get it to pay my bill

The app is ok for certain things. But it tends to try to run all the time and causes my phone to lag and won't close completely. If I had consistent internet access on a laptop, I would use the website instead.

I switched over from state farm and for 2 trs my rates were good but they slowly went back up. When you renew EVERY 5 MONTHS, you have to choose PIP and send proof of health insurance otherwise progressive will automatically choose for you and they pick the unlimited which cost easy more. This is an inconvenience, especially when there are no local stores or anyone to talk to. Just recently I tried a request for towing for my battery but the app would not work for me. This is an inconvenience!

every little bit my bill keeps gping up no accidents no nothing but just paid 200 for 1 car for 1 month of insurance thats ridiculous

Good insurance

If you want to see Any of the documents, you have to Download the PDF from your email just to read anything. WORTHLESS unless you have a computer and printer just to read anything. Also love the screen that shows the Progressive symbol and never anything more. Can't even see my id cards.

every time I try to make a payment there's something wrong it's their sight it sucks

As a current progressive member I absolutely don't like this company they up the rates on you the second or third month you sign a contract. went from $96 a month basic liability to $113 the very next month, they charge all kinds of dumb fees. get it together I'll be switching companys really soon.

app won't open

The app used to be great, until a few months ago. Then, it suddenly stopped working. Whenever I try to open the app, I just get a blank white screen. Occasionally, I get a notification that the app isn't working, but that's it. I guess Progressive wants me to use their website instead, which is fine except that I miss being able to save my insurance card in the app. Please figure out what's going wrong and address it. Judging by other reviews, this is not an isolated issue.

I love that I can make payments towards the balance due before the payment due date, it helps to split up my bills.

been very helpful and tried contacting me I understand when I have my wreck so I'm out of the hospital and now I can proceed with my claim. and hopefully everything will go smoothly just glad that I wasn't injured to bad!

The app is virtually unusable and has been for a couple of months. I'm fortunate to have automatic payments set up, but for the past couple of months, the app has claimed to been offline and I have given up on trying to use it. It also doesn't help that, if you were to forget your username, the app will send a link to your email, only to send you back to the login page.

it unenrolled me from automatic payments wiithout my permission and caused me to get a red flag on my policy

I been with progressive for over 3 years , I had a accident the ajuste total loss my car result the person who cause the accident is progressive client too since day 1 the ajustes Joseph D is trying to ripp me of to I hire a lawyer to help me with my claim Joseph D got pissed off and he won't give not even a rental so I lost work days for not having transportation well the lawyer and him got to the point the progressive is paying what I own for my car the soon I take the tile to progressiveloan

this app helps keep you updated when your bill is due and it helps out a lot I find this app very helpful it has other stuff as well

progressive is a scam, snapshot is a scam, the app only works conveniently at some times and inconveniently at others. any "discounts" they offer you are also an illusion.

I really would give this zero stars if I could. All I'm trying to do is set up an online account so that I won't lose my snapshot discount, but I am unable to do so because I cannot remember my username/password. When I click that link, all I'm sent is a link to download the app, which I have already done. This is exactly why folks like me cancel pretty quick. It should NOT be this hard to try to set up the online account, or the app

too hard to log in and it doesn't tell you what you need to do to get to the next screen. keyboard covers submit buttons. I scroll all the way to the bottom and it's still underneath the keyboard as in right in this box right here right now. so you will probably never see this.

Great app, except for Snapshot. Everything functions flawlessly except for the Snapshot feature. To give you an example, it registered 8 hard brakes at a single location. 8 hard brakes from just one stop? Who drives like that?

Wouldnt let me pay with my digital card. made me get my physical card. made me mad. I was already irritated with you.

Since moving my autos to progressive my monthly payments started at $230 a month and they are now 310 a month with no explanation. This didn't happen all at once either. I was over the course of a 6-8 months. I got rid of their snapshot which I was told that wud add 80.00 to the premium total. Not monthly. Insurance companies are all crooks. You have clean driving records but yet they keep on squeezing.

do not get insurance through Progressive I have insurance with them for a year and my payment dates are supposed to be set up on the 26th I've been retired from the Army for over 15 years and I've never gotten paid before the 26th but they keep reverting my payment to the 19th and then trying to cancel my insurance and charge me all these extra late fees and they refuse to do anything about it even though they got records of me calling multiple times telling them to stop trying to get on the 19

The app won't even open anymore. Also shout out to progressive for raising my rate by $100 because someone ran a red light and totaled my car. Even though I did everything right and did my best to avoid the accident, you raised my rate. Even though I haven't had to use my insurance for any reason in over 10 years, you raised my rate. This is why people hate insurance companies. why have I been paying you all of these years if not for this exact situation.

INACCURATE readings on snapshot. Turning off the cruise control while driving by hitting the off button on the steering wheel, not the brakes, triggers a hard brake ding in the app every single time. That causes me to use my brakes even more, dumb and it makes zero sense since i'm getting dinged for using my brakes, idiotic!!! plus using GPS maps on my phone causes the app to say i'm using my phone all the TIME. I FREAKING WORK & DRIVE AT NIGHT AND THE FREAKING APP DINGS ME FOR THAT. BS COMPANY

This app is recording hard breaks and phone usage where there isn't. It constantly dings you with several "hard breakes" for the same instance, i.e. when you slow down to a traffic light - one never break 10 times to come to an stop- I find their algorithm very aggressive and rather stressing..

Constant aggressive notifications that imply my bill is due, multiple weeks before the due date. Extremely disruptive, and no way to turn it off. If you turn off the app notifications, then the texts start. We need better options, non-broker options in FL.

cannot contact progressive. you send me an email saying my payment schedule has changed with a link. link just opens the app, links to nothing. the payment schedule screen says "your payment schedule is currently unavailable". there is no bug report option on the contact us page of the website. Flo is the worst bot I have ever used. it says say "help" if you need something. I say help. it says "sorry I don't understand you". vibecoded garbage.

You can only do so many things in the app, like when I needed to transfer vehicles, etc. have to do that through the website which is incredibly glitchy on a cell phone. I wish the app were more integrated and did more. Also, renters insurance has to be done through the website which is also glitchy on a cell phone. most people do a lot of their work like this on a cell phone anymore, so it would be great if your website and app were more integrated and talked with technology better.

app has stopped responding for the last 4 days. was trying to make a payment like I do every month and it is just a blank white screen that eventually says progressive stopped responding. I see that there was an update this month and that might be what is causing the problem. eventually got a text about late payment. the link tried to open my app and it had the same problem. was able to call in a payment at least. was trying to find a place for a bug report but didn't find one.

Very frustrating experience with Progressive. The insurance is already expensive, and then I can’t even take screenshots of my own policy information when I need to save or share it. For what I’m paying, I expect convenience and easy access to my documents. High prices and unnecessary headaches make it hard to feel like a valued customer. Do better.
