DEFERITTTT!! OMG!! Every time a card does not work or I no longer have the card.This company loves to flag my account when I remove the card.It remains locked and then I have to reach out to someone and it could take up to 48 to 72 hours for someone to get back with me.Especially over the weekend, I hope they come out with another company similar to this them because this is so inconvincing like I really need to use this account and I'm up-to-date on my payments. Please fix today!!

SCAM ALERT!! COMPANY WILL NOT LET YOU CANCEL AND HAS ZERO TELEPHONE SUPPORT. YOU WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO USE AN AI CHAT THAT TAKES MESSAGES AND DOESNT HELP.... Give me back the monthly fee you had no right to charge. The account setup wasnt complete and I have screenshots that show the account was not setup and no membership was active when you STILL took my money, until you return it, you're SCAMMERS.

I had super high hopes for this app can I have tried for multiple weeks to get help using it there have been multiple issues that I'm sure that can be resolved by someone if they would just help me get through them . unfortunately I don't think they have a customer service I think it's all ai. im sure because of that they one or two people running it are overwhelmed with problems stacking up. sucks to pay for something I can't even use I feel like I got scammed

ZERO STARS. Not worth the stress and hardship. Despite confirming I chose the correct card for payment, its system glitched and I got a notice from my bank that it had tried the second card I had on file. I went back, thinking maybe it was my error, but I confirmed that I had selected the correct card that it should have charged. The bill did not get paid and yet I had incurred all those fees. I just wasted 45 minutes and was rewarded with more stress!

Misleading as usual. these app make you pay to use them and then tell you half truths. it told me I was approved for a certain amount then when I went to check after I paid for the account. that amount was split. now with the bill pay it ask for over half upfront which is ridiculous because if I'm splitting in (4) as you say why am I paying 60% percent from the first payment. Scam. they got $15 out of me for the account that's all they'll get. the 5 star reviews are fake.

I like my experience on the Defer it. You can reschedule payments and having the ability to get your bills paid on time even if you don't have all the money. So I love that.

Deferit is awesome

I used $36 on the little card that's on this app. To get a script. I had to pay $100 back for $36. Being charged $54 for $36 does not seem right nor is it a big help. It may be worth it to some, but it's a hell no for me. Then the app malfunctioned. So I couldn't even see anything until it was paid. So I saw no fees nothing. Now that it's paid the app works perfect, but the transaction is gone. No history. They are crooked and I suggest you stay away unless you want to be ripped off.

Do not use Deferit unless you absolutely have to! The app took my money and showed my $176 cable bill as paid, but my cable company never received the payment. I had to pay another $176 to avoid issues. Customer service told me to request a refund from my cable company, knowing most companies issue credits instead. Now I'm out $352 because of this app! The whole point is to help with bills, not create more financial problems. Extremely disappointed!

I have mixed feelings, so it let me upload my bill, but the support is dumb, completely dumb, I have no contact with an actual agent only a Ai agent who repeats and repeats never once helping me. I can't even check when my bill has been paid, it says active and paid on a specific day but I have issues checking the support tickets and no clear visual.....I would like proper help with this.

There's not an actual person to help you. When you're in a situation that AI cannot help you with, and it's very frustrating and then you receive emails of false. Documentation of either payments. Not pay when you have receipts. That payments are being paid and also account being paused or locked for false information on payment. Never received when you have receipts. That you made your payments.

I've been waiting all day for confirmation on a bill and payment was took out yesterday. they made sure to get their payment before it even initiates payment. if you are in a bind like i am. Failed to pay my biller correctly, when all correct information was provided. but deducted instalment payments from me. They provide Generic AI responses. I've tried my multiple ways to contact, either through app, Web pages chat, Facebook Messenger Chat and Email, over a week with no resolution in site. Used this app since 2019 without an issue, up until now.

Use to be of great help. Now despite saying my electric bill has been paid by them my electric was cut off because the company did not receive payment. I cant get a refund on the amount Ive paid in installments & now im fighting with them to not be responsible for the full amount through them even though the electric company didnt receive the payment. This has been beyond frustrating to deal with.

Total scam. They ask you to pay $15 at least before you can use the bill pay then ask you to pay another $2 for a credit check, then refuse to pay your bill if your credit is below 700.

each time I log in it asks to verify my mobile and when I do it says this number already exists. I cannot move forward from there.

for one , I wanted my whole amount to go on my virtual card and didn't. thought the company was supposed to pay the bills for wrong, they let you borrow the money and put it on a card when you go to pay it , it won't even show the cvv code or expiration date on the bottom . it's jot worth the 15.00 they charge you .I dont recommend them .

Their late fees are ridiculous it is not worth it at all they will charge you double the payment for a payment that is four days late I would not recommend them to anyone fees are out of control. i was charged over 15 dollars for a four day late fee

i was going to try this app but i read in reviews payments are mailed out to provider. i dont do mail. when i want a bill to be paid today or tomorrow then this doesnt work for me.

You all scammed me out of money. you claimed to save me money on a feature I had already cancelled days before you claimed to take off unwanted service on my phone bill. I spoke to many representatives that have not been helpful. Any chance you get you pull money from my account for this bogus savings. I told the representative I didn't even want him to keep looking for these "savings" them comes up with this fake amount that they keep pulling from my account. Do not get this app! Run away!!

This app is still on pilot program mode. I am extremely irritated with this app. It nickel and dime you on every aspect. It charges you to use your card. It charges you to check your account. I might as well have paid the full bill. Also to end with my complaint it doesn't pay the bill when you download the bill it takes them forever for the payment to go through to the vendor. The people who says this app is a miracle have to be bots. You will pay more than what the bill is for them to pay it

this app does not pay bills upfront I canceled my my membership and removed my card information from the app and it continues to charge me the bill was never payed the support page link takes you to page that says the page doesn't exist no way to deactivate it I'm receiving texts saying if I don't pay them they're going to escalate literally just taking my money and not paying my bill

They don't allow you to view anything on their app until you've paid the monthly payment. They take almost 3-4 days to process a payment. The virtual card is a joke. Not enough offered for the monthly fee

Trying to Verify My ID as per email I got & says I need to fill out an online support form,which wants my Email Address,Legal First Name,Legal Surname,Birth Date& Mobile Number,Which doesn't ask you that on the actual app?Only for either yr Driver's Licence/Medicare or PassPort plus my bank details,I have now filled out what you asked for but now it won't let me add or submit my photo ID, So you have my bank details All MY Personal details😳 but app won't work as you've put my payment ON HOLD!🙄

my experience was I was tricked. all new customers are told to upload one of your virtual debit cards from a active account. and your told you'll receive a $50 virtual card from the app and the company and you pay 13.99 for. but in the end the making you only borrow $50 and paying that 13.99 so they get over on you and say they never said they give a free $50 card when uploading yours. so so much of a scam false advertising an all in 1.I know I didn't read it wrong because my friend did too.

Customer service is abysmal. Trying to pay a phone bill for the first time and it tells me that they need to verify my ID as no matter what ID i provide their system won't recognize it. I've done this 3 times in the last 24 hrs and I've not heard a thing from them only computer generated responses. I've even emailed them directly with no results. Its pathetic

they want you to use their app but the support is soooooo bad. I am actively trying to get into contact with someone from the support team but they intentionally make it so difficult to reach their support. and they will only respond 24 hours at a time when you do get into contact with them. God forbid that your account was locked for repaying your installment, you won't get it fixed for WEEK.

UPDATE- 8/28/26- My landlord still hasnt gotten the $ SIXTEEN BUSINESS DAYS AFTER THEY MAILED IT. I just asked (via their sad excuse for email customer service) if they sent it via Pony Express. I'm beyond furious! deferit not only didnt do what the commercial said they would but I will have to wait between 2 & 10 more business days to receive a refund. If you expect them to pay the whole bill- they wont and God forbid you want to speak to someone. The email customer service SUCKS! Dont bother.

Fix your platform. It says I entered a bill that was split but it never worked and never went through past the part where you upload a pic of the bill. I've contacted you guys several times. The state of alaska is so backed up amy legal action will take months/years and it will most likely be thrown out by our court system, as there are so many real crimes backed up in the system. If you guys wanna fix the app to where my bill picture actually goes through and gets accepted. Predatory over $25

They tie bills not to the time of membership that you start your active bills, if you start a May membership for $15, but to the date of which you make the payments. If the payment exceeds the time of your May membership, you now have to Pay for a June membership even if you never make new active bills or even if youre on time and have never missed once. Thus, you're in August finishing the last 4th payment and locked out because 2 months worth of membership by bad practices. I will not pay it.

takes entirely toooooooo long to pay a bill even if you do it early or early I. the evening this is a full day process where it says potentially 3 hours.

If im rating the service, then I give it 5 stars! it has tremendously helped me everytime I use it. If I'm rating the app, then I honestly give it 3 stars, due to how glitchy it is. I have to open and close it several times and it doesnt even need an update any of those times. but it does "glitch" every other time I need to use it.

Absolutely ZERO customer service. The approved advance of $50 isn't even accessible because the card has a default new York zip code attached to it. Customer service does not exist. Now the $50 is down to $22 and I can do nothing about it. I want $14.99 membership fee reimbursement. Your efforts have been pathetic at best. I want my money back. good day

Please, don't deal with Deferit. You're going to pay $14.99/ week. you won't be able to use the, "credit", you're paying for. If you opt in for the $50 virtual card, they're highly unlikely to accept the form of payment. This is a scam, plain simple, and period. I had to pay my bill on the app, and it has been over 10 days, and the biller has not received the payment (I did call them, and they said it's a scam). I could have just paid the biller and had it paid by now because deferit did not split my bill up. What's the point?

I never got to use the app due to the large holding fee for whatever bill I uploaded. That same money can just go to the actual bill smh. I'm sure this is a one time deal, but it's not fair. Plus the monthly membership is high and you're forced to pay the first month of $15 upfront. I've paid it twice and still never used the service. If you can wait out the holding fee and chance a disconnect on another bill, go for it.

I like using deferit. I just wish customer service was just more immediate.Ai cant answer the hard questions and once a ticket is submitted customer service replies in 24 to 48 hours. by then there is no point. Also wish payments were more immediate.

Not cool! False promises & no weekend support Downgrading this from 5 to 1 stars. I uploaded my insurance reinstatement on Friday and was told it could take a couple of hours. I waited, but my bill was put on hold until Saturday, and now there's no way to edit it with the full bill amount. It tells me to edit but won't let me. The app had no issue taking my membership fee and bill payment, but because a payment method expired, you blocked my account and now it's Saturday, I can't get help,

I was going to use it but it couldn't lend me the amount I needed so I never used them and yet I keep getting charged when I didn't receive anything. I can't even cancel when I go to the app .

I have been using deferit for almost 2 years now and has been a blessing. I normally use it for our cellphone bill and car insurance.

There is no number to speak with anyone, only a chat that submit tickets and you have to wait. well its Wednesday I reached out last Friday to get help with a bill that was due yesterday, it takes them days to actually pay the bill. there's also fees for EVERYTHING and the acct gets locked for everything! they offered a virtual cash card with no instructions.. it comes out your available balance, secondly it says the card can be used for groceries, utilities or gas... it can't, DONT TAKE IT!

I was super skeptical at first but I see that this actually works. I was able to pay off my electric bill and still have extra money and I'm super happy about that

They don't offer phone support, forcing email, and even marking emails urgent doesn't guarantee a fix If you're already struggling

Can't find the option to cancel subscription even though they say it's there. customers no help. never got back to me like they promised. A Complete scam app. Do not use this service or you will regret it. Trust me smh

I have been using deferit for a lot of years. They are fully transparent and will help you through difficult times.

it's a lie. they pull $1.99 to verify your credit card. after that they pull $13.99 for the account activation. and on top of that they want your first payment immediately before they pay your bill. I'm not even sure they will pay your bill. when I asked for a refund and cancellation of my account all they did was cancel my account, they have yet to refund my money. UPDATE: I will not upgrade the one * but they have cancelled my account and are in the process of refunding my money so that's a +.

this is a horrible app if you need customer service or if your situation changes after you sign up for Bill payment. the AI is incredibly stupid and cannot answer any complex problems. there is no customer service for the app other than using their lame and unhelpful chat service. I had to open a ticket because the payment did not arrive in time and my policy got canceled. so I opened a ticket and I have not heard anything and there's no way to check on it. do not use this app!!

I've only used this app for the virtual card so far, but that experience alone was more than enough of a hassle for me. After several days of trying to figure out how to use the card, It only worked with Instacart, which is overpriced. I had to use Google to figure out how to use it because the app doesn't tell you anything. plus, I didn't use the full $50, but now I have to pay back the full balance and I can no longer use the card.

DO NOT believe anything THEY tell you. first they CLAIM that they will pay a bill for you. that is partially true; they pay it by using your credit balance then u end up paying for the rest. 14.99 is supposed to be the monthly fee but it ends up being almost $40. they say that your bill is supposed to be paid on the same day within 2-4hours. my bill has been in their system for 8 hrs.. it refuses to cancel your membership so im having SUE. ALL U GET IS A COMPUTER NEVER A PERSON.

Last major update not working now. My payment methods are non-existent my email and phone number are non-existent I can't see how much of a credit line I have my account is not working I am unable to pay anything and now I am getting collection notices. I do not know what happened to everything was fine with the app until the last major update now my account appears to be a ghost sometimes it's there sometimes it's not. Fix the app it sucks now.
