Great app for tracking mileage for my business.

decent app that works fairly well. However, a 40% increase to the annual subscription is ridiculous. I'll find something else that works for my small business.

MileIQ does a very good job of distinguishing Business and Personal travel, based on starting point and end destination, flagging drives it can't categorize. you need to review every drive periodically to catch classification errors.

does mileage.tracking right, but phone GPS is not reliable and it does not support stand alone GPS that stay in the vehicle without using the phone. I've used ai to find all possible settings that may put to sleep functions and apps that put to sleep or affect GPS results. set everything to 100%on and it still does.not work good, but now.it kills.my phone battery!

This had five stars last year but then my phone died and they refused to get back to me to give me last year's report because my email changed also and they would not allow me to update it before my phone died. great system if they would just get back to me and talk to me.

Is it to track my mileage for work. The app seems to work pretty well.

I have had this app for 3 years. it worked great until about 3 months ago. the Ai customer service told me to delete and reinstall. i did and it worked for a bit. then had to do it again and again but in the mean time it doesn't track all my mileage. also the annual fee went from $50 to $148 while trying to get this app to work. i requested a refund and was denied. i do not recommend this app to anyone anymore.

This is a much better option than keeping up with your mileage any other way that I know of. This app is not one hundred percent accurate, but it's close enough for me. Would definitely recommend.

I like iq in the fact that it automatically tracks your drives . i dislike IQ, in the fact, there is no way, absolutely no way to talk to them to find out how to do something. I have tried for several months to contact them by phone and finally, they sent me a message that says, I must type everything I need to ask about. they do not have or allow phone calls .

The app works great but to go from 89.99 to 139.99 is absolutely ridiculous. Will not be renewing after years of use.

they more than doubled the price last year, and now there is another huge price increase this year for the exact same program. Time to start looking for a new tracker that isn't a "bait trap" The actual program is good. But nothing fantastic added last year or this year to warrant 2 huge price increase back to back. Guessing they think we won't go through the trouble of changing to another tracker and keep giving them more with nothing in return.

I had to cancel my subscription, the price has gone off the rails! The app appeared to be working fine but now looking for another alternative.

Renewed yearly subscription on 9/18. App currently shows my account as being “free” rather than “unlimited”, for which I paid $140. I attempted multiple times to get assistance via app’s “help” feature, only to receive repeated AI responses. Did what AI instructed, got no response whatsoever. Asked specifically for a helpful human to assist me, no response. So this review is in effort to elicit a response from an actual human. The app is FANTASTIC, customer service is nonexistent. Help.

has worked good for what I need

when the subscription price was raised it asked me to resume sub which I did and it created 2 subscriptions I didnt see until months later under an account that I never even created or used. support is AI and tells me to use Google play to do put in a refund request. the refund request policy after the phony account was made only adresses payments made within 2 months. Doesn't seem to be a good way to get my money back which I should since I legitimately use and pay for one.

price has increased exponentially in 4 years. Quickbooks has a mileage tracking tool if you need invoices, estimates, tax docs, it's worth it.

this is good app,but sometimes doesn't show me some trips for example part of August and part of September 2026.

I have tried multiple times to reach customer service after a transition from iPhone to Google Pixel with no solution or response from a human. The app refuses to log in stating the server could not be reached. I've un/re-installed the app. I can log in all day long on the web with no issue, but the app will not work on my new phone. I paid for an annual subscription, that I cannot use. If it's of any help, the app was great prior to the device switch. I wish I could have it back.

It's a decent app overall because I got it at $89/year. It's going to be $149/year soon. I don't think it's worth it at that price. It does has a couple of glitches. It doesn't always track every trip. The work schedule setting doesn't function all the time. I've had to manually catalog trips that should have been work automatically.

The transfer of drives to QuickBooks for Canada does not work. For Canada, this program does not create a CSV file for import into QuickBooks. This was admitted by the agents themselves with whom I emailed to set up the transfer. After they admitted it, they do not refund the money for the annual subscription for a program that I cannot use to its full extent. I do not recommend it.

It was great, the lite version was perfect for needing to track a few trips per month. Although very often off in exactitude. However it started randomly stopping resulting in lost tracking and now locks trips tracked unless you are in the same month to force the yearly subscription!

Convenient to track your miles when the data is accurate. Sometimes it shows trips that I didn't do and there is no customer service.

I have been a subscriber to MileIQ premium since 2017. My annual rate was $59.99 from 2018 until 2025. In 2025 they increased my annual rate to $89.99 and then a week ago (exactly 1 year after the last increase) I am informed they are raising their rate to $139.99! Same plan, same simple features but they increased my rate almost 300% over the span of 12 months. I have since found another mileage solution with a better price point and same simple features.

Needs a lot of maintenance to keep it running and reliable. Not as set it and forget it as I hoped.

Used to work great. Now it's totally off the rails. Records stuff it shouldn't. Does not get addresses correct. Groups drives in a strange way that is not accurate. NOT worth the $80/yr. anymore at all. Worked fine for years, now it's a costly garbage app. Now the price is going up $50/yr?!?!?! The app still doesn't work right, and doesn't get location info. correct. So long MileIQ, won't continue to pay(more money) for a broken app. Try harder or do better.

easy app, helps with taxes

this app doesn't log trips under 1.5 miles and I needed a mileage tracking app because I make so many short trips throughout my day. otherwise, why not just use my odometer and log it in a spreadsheet? totally useless. but he. I was charged despite never using the app and the cancellation wasn't processed. they charged me for $140 for a year despite being unable to use the app from the beginning and refused to refund it.

Used for years but $90 going to 150, no thanks. other services include in price already pay so even though mileiq not bad app it's not worth additional cost.

great app when it works but lately there have been several days when it just doesn't log my drives, and some very long drives for work.

all drives needs to be the home page, and choosing a start time should be an option when logging a drive manually

this app is a time saver that I have used for the past several years. I have recommended it to several clients and friends. I'm very happy with the results it produces.

it was a good app until they went crazy with the price. it's increased over 100% since I started using it and it's no longer worth it. I read one place that the increase is due to new servers or something. shouldn't be a problem as there will be many people like me leaving. I've already bought a note pad and pencil, saving over $100 a year.

Jeez. Great app but price jumping $50 every year while the app itself is unchanged. I like it but 140/year, up from 90, up from 60 is insane! Add in my insane tax rate and I'll be looking for alternatives.

BEWARE! This got expensive. I cancelled my subscription in the app, but Google continued to hose me for $13.99 per month. I caught it after a few months. You have to cancel in your Subscriptions as well. What a freaking dirt-bag move, to let people think they've cancelled so you can milk them without them knowing it.

I've paid for this app for a couple of years, putting up with its frequent lack of accuracy when paying £45 a year, but with cost recently doubling, I've cancelled my subscription and will find an alternative.

As someone who drives frequently for work, this app pays for itself. UPDATE: I regret to change my rating, but the price has become cost prohibitive. In the course of a year and a half, it has gone from $6.32 a month to $14.76. I can't justifily paying that much in the current economy. I will go back to recording mileage the old fashioned way.

At first there were some bugs where it would not always log drives, but as of 5/10/26 all issues i have had have been fixed app works great

originally I was charged a one time fee to use the app (about $5.00) then they went to an annual subscription of $89, and now I just received a notification that the annual subscription is going up to $139. The app was definitely worth a one time payment of $5.00, but a not $139 a year. Cancelling my subscription and finding something cheaper

horrible app 90% of the time when you input your start and end location it selects a totally different address. it doesnt show you the route if you manually input locations and only works 25% of the time if you let gps tracking you route. mileage is 1-4 miles off from Google app which is much more accurate i csn see why businesses choose to make their employees use this app to track instead of the more accurate Google maps because it rips of the employee which saves the employer money. horrible

Push notifications for drives have randomly turned off on the last update. Have to open the app to see the drives. Not a massive problem but still annoying. When I go to app settings it says Push notifications 'none' when they are clearly turned on.

good app and user friendly. very poor customer service. my buisness partner has the exact same app for half the price. contacted support through email to clarify as to why we have same unlimited memberships but i am being charged double . I keep getting an Ai generated loop of emails that is not providing a solution and is just stating the same thing. I also tried calling their support number and it was out of service.

I have been using this app for a couple of years now, and although I do like it, I didn't realize that the price had gone up $5 more a month (and pretty recently, too). So unfortunately I can't justify staying on here much longer with that kind of a price jump, and without notice.

Great app although does have a few bugs where it hasn't recorded accurately and you have to manually log your journey, but you can live with that if it's good value, which it was at £5.00 per month, but they've just doubled the price to over £10+ per month, and I can't see the value in that now. It's great when it works, but its consistency is terrible. I have to uninstall and reinstall the app every time before I drive, otherwise it doesn't pick up my movements. Very disappointing.

I want to pay from a different account. No longer have Apple ID so unable to sign in. What to do? Do I need to cancel and open up new account? I don't want to lose any info

Frequently detects casual walking as driving & doesn't detect some drives at all even with the app open. The price increases no longer make this app a value. $140/yr is ridiculous.

7/7/26 update: they're increasing the price even more. Now they want 13.99 per month. The price has almost tripled since I started using this app in 2018, and the app has barely changed at all 4/5/25 update: out of nowhere, they've increased the subscription price 50 percent! I subscribed for 8 years with no price increase. It was $60 before and now it's $90 My previous review from 2018: Good tracking- also there is a nice guide to help you make sure your settings are optimal for good tracking.

I didn't realize how much deduction I was missing, by not using the app... there is about a 200% increase in trackable milage, including medical and volunteer miles i was not tracking before the app

Whatever tracking system they use is inaccurate fairly frequently, meaning you need to go back and add drives manually. There's no way to edit an inaccurate completed drive. I use it to track my work drives in the new construction industry so many addresses aren't found in their system. But when it's working properly, it's a pretty good way to track your mileage. That is, unless Google double bills you and you don't catch it right away, because apparently Google won't refund past 120 days.

It stops working and it doesn't always chart my drives. Should be automatic I've checked my settings. I'm finding I'm having to go in and fix manually quite often

convenient, but frequently inaccurate. often registers walking out to my barn or pasture ( 100-300 yards)as a trip to unknown address several miles away. Wish that it would recognize all of my property as being my home, I only have 10 acres so it's not like I'm talking about a huge homestead. in all fairness, this is my first mileage app I've tried so no basis for comparison except manually tracking, and it definitely beats that, even with the errors.

The trip start and end locations and times aren't always accurate and I can't modify the trip start or end times in the mobile app; I have to do it on my laptop. The app generally works fine for long distance trips, but short distance trips (under 10 mi) seems to be a problem right now.

not as accurate as I'd like. I had classified all of my months miles and then submitted tax reports, but then I went in the next day after everything was submitted and it said there were more miles to classify, so I lost out on claiming $$$ of miles.

The app does exactly what it says it will do but somehow it subscribed me for monthly AND yearly subscription charges. I contacted them and they adjusted it but that shouldn't be possible. I will definitely not be continuing my service with them after the year is done because I appreciate being valued as a subscriber and they showed me I wasn't. I think I can do better and I'd recommend anyone to keep looking.

This thing creates drives I've never drove, and this last month said I did a round trip when I never left my home. Generally is it is 98% accurate, but then once a month it just invents trips, or won't log them until 6 hours later, and the times are not accurate. It works good enough, but definitely has room for improvements.

I love this app and use it constantly! It helps keep track of my personal verses work mileage. This is very helpful at tax time!

Loved the app for a few years but as most other reviews are stating, I also am leaving due to the greedy price jump. Monthly going from $7.99 to $14.99 is INSANE, especially with no improvements or additions to the app. I hope they lose enough customers so that this greedy move costs them alot in the long run.
