CALL THE CAR DID NOT PAY MY DRIVER FOR A 120 MILE TRIP AFTER REPEATED PHONE CALLS FOR A WEEK AND WAS TOLD HE WAS PAID THE GUY NEVER WAS AND THAT 7 MONTHS AGO. Great app, rather use app then call by phone. Only problem is, Knowing surgery centers call the day before surgery, give you a check in time, we have to call it in. I scheduled my ride because I was giving the date. All surgery centers call the day before surgery even colonoscopy. We should be able to change the time, even if people call to schedule, they should be able too. Not be told no because most don't have family that can take them to those appointments

I downloaded the app a few weeks ago & it worked perfectly. The first time I'm being picked up the app doesn't work at all. I got to the Dr's fine but I have no idea about the return ride I scheduled. It's very stressful not knowing especially when it's the first time you're relying on this transportation. I am very thankful this is even offered. I don't understand why the app isn't better. Calling just sent me to the app. If that's what the company wants provide an app that works.

the app is very slow. it doesnt always save the info you add. internal server error happens alot. raises my anxiety cuz I dont know if my ride is still saved or not.

Absolutely terrible since switching to Uber!! Was great with Lyft. Now, between this app and the garbage Uber app drivers never, NEVER, come to my house. It's a standard street address withing a mobile home community. They go a block away to a random different address. If I'm not there ahead of time half the drivers just leave. Then there's the dropp off points. Wrong addresses. Behind buildings. At loading docks. It's completely broken. We have no option to change pick up or drop off points.

I've been using this app for the past 2 years and I never had an issue, but ever since the new update, it keeps directing the drivers to my old home address. I e-mailed customer service with a screenshot of the Set Home Location page, in the screenshot it shows how my current address and the pickup point doesn't match, I've been living in my current address for the past 5 years, it doesn't let me change the pickup point to my current address. It's frustrating. Please fix this issue.

I love this app however, I got kicked out of the app the other day and now, it won't let me log back in and before I got kicked out of the app it kept rejecting my trips. Tech support how do I get back in the app? Login is rejecting my email and password. HELP!!!!!

ok they say im too far awy miles away from merced ca too dr appointment too sanfrancisco ca either cvrc pharmacy. vanness they brought couple 3 times. now that i move and live close too sf. they dont even take me. im in san carlos hotel. there very rude call they need more vocal training my city sf now

I am disabled and need rides (medical transportation) to and from doctors appointments every week. I usually have a standing order for the regular appointments but it's so difficult to make changes to anything in their system and or through any representative that answers to apparently help you. it's very difficult to enjoy a service that constantly causes issues in your life and won't allow you to modify your schedule when it's your schedule. 1 out of 10 Do Not recommend !!!!!!!

This app is always messing up ! Too many glitches and it's hard to make reservations because the app always shuts down for " technical" issues.

FIX YOUR APP!!!!!!! constantly crashes. major latency issues on every text entry box. major latency on page loading. major issues with connectivity. i doesn't over 2 hours trying to create one trip for an appointment . complete waste of time and resources. way easier to call IEHP directly but you don't have any visibility of your scheduled trips that way. if the ap actually worked it would be a great tool BUT IT DOESN'T WORK. HIRE BETTER APP ENGINEERS AND PROGRAMMERS AND STOP OUTSOURCING

Horrible app all the way. I got this app because customer service is horrible. everytime i call to schedule a ride and I say its for a doctor's appointment they ask what kind of doctor's appointment? if I say its a dentist appointment they ask what kind of dental appointment? my goodness they are nosy. call the car says it's IEHP that tells them to ask us what kind of appointment we have. the app is always updating and logging me out. ridiculous all the way.

The app is nice when it doesn't automatically reject requests for a ride to an appointment you've waited 4 months for, or goes with Uber Health and doesn't allow you to be informed if/when your driver is there to pick you up instead of calling you a no show when you've been waiting for them to call so you can come out because you can't just stand there and wait because you're too disabled to do so. Very unreliable, goes down too often, and keeps you wondering if you're allowed to live

Terrible lag. Freezes on the regular. Transposes numbers and changes location data from the info you enter without warning. Sends drivers to pick up clients just down the street or around the corner from their spot All. The. Time. CALL IN YOUR RIDES! This app is awful. UPDATE: DO NOT USE THIS APP TO BOOK YOUR RIDES. I booked a ride 45 minutes before an appointment that was 20 minutes away. The booking was screwed up and by the time cust. service fixed it I was 10 minutes late.

worst company to use. ordered a car to do a pick up for my mom almost 2wks ahead and NO ONE SHOWED UP. My dad received a call in the morning the day of ride and was PROMISED a car was available. Him and my mom waited and NO ONE SHOWED UP. My dad called and they said, "sorry we don't have anyone in your area to take you or pick you up." This was 20mins after expected pick up. Now my mom had to miss a valuable doctor's appt because of their lack of Communication.

Bad customer service. The app has erased my trips a few times.. All in all, it is better to call in & reserve an appointment because if your app goes down it will remove your reservations & you will have to make another appt. by calling in five days in advance. Edit: 2026 Been using it and the app goes down constantly!!!

This app is easy to use when it's not asking you to update it every time you use it the only time I've had it's been easy to use is when I'm ready to return home and have to call for the car to come back and pick me up and bring me back home otherwise I have to call to arrange for a ride because my appointments are usually 70 miles or more away they need to fix that

Its very helpful & easy. I prefer to schedule my rides on the app than to deal with customer service (sometimes they lack customer service). I realized I need to update the app every time I open it. I have 2-3 appointments every week. Phones don't come with a lot of storage. also, I seen the notice about going to the pharmacy once a week and it needs to be within 5 miles. Will accommodations be given to those whos sent more than 5 miles to get them or unable to make more than 1 trip a day?

It's somewhat acceptable when it actually works. Updates to supposedly improve performance have become more frequent, and each degrades the user experience. Pros: IF it works, appointments can be made, cancelled, and viewed. Cons: Times are suggested for pickups, but adjusting them is annoyingly confusing. 2. Method to find newly scheduled appointments seems to change with each update. 3. Drops biometric ID every time it updates. 4. Server is unavailable too often, preventing login.

This app was hacked; someone with access from insurance company hijacked my standing appointment, cancelled my trip to book her own ride after I had just gotten off the phone to confirm it. Once I reported the issue, I received a call from an unidentified representative to tell me my problem was not "urgent" & when I asked for the rationale behind the decision she hung up & I could not reach again. The app has absolutely no support & posts wrong phone number for its own car service! USELESS!

I put my information in and it tells me that it is not valid. What a waste of time!!

rides are always off. My standing my order comes 20-30 mins earlier than it's book for, customer service is not good. Cannot cancel or book rides through the app, at all. Have to call them in and spend 30 mins on the phone with customer service that does not listen and usually does not schedule the rides correctly.

app was changed so that you can't put in an address at all until you put in the facility name, then select from a list. I can image it's messing people up if they have smaller or newer clinics. 2 stars from me though because I'm not staying at home at the moment and I can't add my current address, even temporarily, to schedule a ride to/from my doctor's clinic.

latest update broke adding addresses, I enter the facility name and select it from the drop down menu and the address auto fills however when pressing the button to confirm it errors and says the address must start with numbers when there's no way to manually edit the address and there's no errors in it to begin with was convenient for the few days I used it and now I can't setup a new visit because it's a location I haven't added yet

I loved it until the last month.... I'm the last month it's nothing but constant glitches for a while I couldn't add new addresses for doctors offices due to an error message. that was just fixed in the last week but now this week everytime I open it to try to check my upcoming it schedule a new one it says I have no pay trips or upcoming trips when I've been using this app for about 9 months so I have plenty of history and I know I have rides coming up this week and next week. but it's blank

app was working great until the last 2 updates. can't input new addresses. please fix it. it's such a convenient way to request a ride without having to call in person

I am having the worst time with this app. every time I have to put in my email and password I have to change my password because it doesn't accept the correct one. then I try to create a new password and it says my email is unknown or my account is inactive. I have a ride today and now I can't cancel it because of this stupid app!!! I'll never use it again. to be fair it is easy but it has a glitch in it.

newest update just ruined a great app. the search feature has always been trash but you could just enter the address so it didnt matter much. Now the address is entered based on a name search, which is pulling up locations hundreds of miles away instead of the one I need to go to right down the street. Now i have to call to get a ride that Ive scheduled fine in app before. Remove this immediately because its going to cause nothing but problems and result in more people needing to call it in.

Every update it deletes my all my address. Here is a idea so no one has to call the number at all. All us to update our home address and phone number. Mainly just update the new information without overwriting the address book too. Start with that.

Absolutely useless. Rejects every ride I schedule well in advance saying it doesn't meet transport protocols and then has NO HELP SECTION to give me even an inkling of what any protocols are. I've missed my intake appointment and first outpatient appointment disrupting the continuum of care that IEHP recommends I follow and offers transportation, tells me how to arrange the transportation, then rejects both appointments! Thanks for nothing! Useless service!

You may not know it, but be AI option offer by call the car is in operative. Every time I contact her, she has no ride scheduled for me ever. And when she transfers me after sitting for half an hour it, it’s to a Spanish version of the survey of performance. On the other hand, On the other hand, the option to speak to a representative to make an appointment is logged down with so much information about prescription drugs, and various things he won’t do when that’s concerned is unnecessary.

I'm creating an account and putting all the correct info in and its saying it's not correct and will not allow me to create one. 😐 Very frustrating. I heard it doesn't do well or at all, with IEHP but with other premium insurance, it works fine. Is this discrimination?🤔

Would have given the app a 5 Star rating if I was able to delete my notifications. I have been using Call the Car since its inception, but only made an account on the app a few months ago. Upon registering an account, I was met with over 1000 notifications, and when I chose the option "Delete All," it reads an error code something along the lines of 'url is too large.' Please fix this so I can properly manage my notifications.

can't do validation code bcuz I can't get back to your webpage so I can sign in. now I have to start all over. well I'm not. please make sure you send a vehicle with a ramp. the last 2 rides you did not do I missed very important doctor appointments that their office rescheduled a month later. both times no ramp and no doctor appt. please don't make me miss another appt.

As a professional developer I'd like to offer you the following suggestion. Beta test your application in as many mobile environments as you can. This latest application presents information that Scrolls off the bottom of my Samsung Galaxy S22 screen And content below the bottom of my screen cannot be accessed nor can I press any buttons that I can just barely see the outline of. Not everyone uses an iphone. You seem to be formatted for that. Try again.

the app used to work fine but the latest 3/4 updates in the past two weeks have made it unusable. it freezes up constantly, especially when trying to input a new address for drop-off, adjust the appointment/pickup time or add an additional stop. I'm not sure why it's gotten so much worse after the updates - so frustrating when it's such an essential technology !!! hope the processing delays can be fixed ASAP

CURRENTLY phone numbers are an issue. when inputting ride a # is included but most of the time when it's saved to your side the number is stripped out or the app says ride denied because no # found when it right there in the request.

Just installed and created my account. So far haven't had any problem. I'll be using it for my surgery coming up. We'll see how it goes. 4 stars until I use and have anything to report. You get an 'A' in my class in the beginning. It'll be up to you to maintain and keep that 'A'.

This app is great! It's easy, fast and convenient to use. No waiting on hold or having to speak to representatives. Although they're extremely helpful there's that having to repeat your name, birthdate etc all of which takes time. This app eliminates all that plus you can book in advance and book recurring rides. Love it!!

i have had issues with a operator names Santiago a lot . I think he is the reason I can no longer make reservations through the app or the AI automation system on the phone line . I have called several times to try to gain access back because of how convenient it was to use book Through the app but I have unable to talk to someone who can help with Call The Car or my insurance

So far the app works really good! it does seem to not to work with some settings/selections though as I typically do a will call for my return rides home and atm the option isn't selectable which is likely a small bug. The first day I downloaded this app though it was nigh on impossible to work it was full of bugs and glitches but it's working a lot better now minus these minor issues. I'm hoping they can get it fully fixed soon, but I do understand it's a brand new app so it's gonna take a bit

after last update it won't let me click will call and if I put a time and try to save it it says pick up time can not be after appointment time even tho I don't have it set to that and any ride I do manage to schedule gets rejected stating I did not put a phone number although the phone number line has a red Astrid so if I was not putting a phone number I could not move forward with the reservation to begin with please fix this very frustrating

App misleads slightly; only provides a more direct number to call for ETA and will-call. Still have to go thru the 3-minute spiel, speak with a human, yadda, yadda to do anything beyond book a ride thru app.

it's easy to use the app if you have advanced notice. but the people who answer the phones seem to be fired and hired new every day. they never know what to do. I was told by insurance to call if my appointment is less than 24 hours, but if you call and it's under 24 hours they will not give you the ride. some places call at last minute. it's BS, cuz I drive Uber/Lyft and pick people up all the time. there's no advanced appointments. it's done in 5 min or less. work it to your advantage though.

This app used to be great, but after several updates, it has gone downhill. I book a trip seeing it's listed on my account, but when I call customer service which goes to several transfers before call the car is reached, I found out more than twice now that my schedule had not been received. I am not confident to get a ride until I talk to a live agent which makes the app useless.

you can't see where the driver is when you're waiting for them. and if you get out early from your appointment you can't even activate or call the ride or request it. the app tells you to call them. it's completely pointless! I'm going to delete it after this review! the only thing you can do is rate the drivers after your trip.

New changes make everything inconvenient and difficult and even when calling employees have been messing up reservations.

Just call in to book your reservations! I booked mine 7 days in advance on the app. Now, here we are 3 days before my appointment and the status of the reservation says "pending". I've called CTC and gave them the trip ID number from the app and they're saying that the trip pretty much doesn't even exist. it's as if I never booked the trip. With their policy being that you have to book a trip 5 days in advance, I may have to miss my appointment now. Never using this app again!

Cannot book a ride for tomorrow at 4 pm if it is 4:01 pm the previous day. Return rides are frequently canceled. Better off calling them all in. Update: If your ride is more then 14 hours out, but you book it after the current time, it will fail. So if I need a ride in 3 days, but at 3pm, and I try to set it up at 4pm, it won't work.

I just replaced my.lost Samsung A16 same number same data but for some odd reason the app is not showing my reservations. how can I fix this?? Thank You

This app hasn't worked since it was upgraded. What should take me only 3 minutes now takes up to 15 minutes to schedule a ride by phone. Deleted it.

I can't add or change the addresses

Who contracted this tech serv it's awful, they should be fired! or was it somebody's nephew this is just bad all around excpt for cust service which is good, +most of my drivers 99% are excelnt. I appreciate ;who's born in 1900? what B:00B: put that on? some brainiac with no brain or comon sense? it won't let you put the proper date format on. So, you get stuck + frustrated! and the like. ugh! Not good, not good at all. 😤

WARNING: DISCRIMINATES AGAINST THE POOR, DISABLED, AND THOSE WITH MEDICAL CONDITONS. THEY UPDATED THE APP AND NOW IT'S EXTREMELY DIFFICULT IF NOT IMPOSSIBLE TO USE. Customer service reps tell you you've never been to a facility before even though you were literally just there. They won't let you go to a pharmacy you've used a dozen times. Behavior like this should be illegal, and I believe it is. CTC should be sued and so should LA care.
