This is my first and last time using this service. Despite being notified that Lufthansa approved and remitted the compensation for my delayed flight due to the strike to AirHelp, the funds were never transferred to me. Absolute fraud

I tried to talk with customer service regarding an issue and I had to text to them a lot of time in order to reply to me. At the end they reply but it took them so long and also the agent left the conversation without me finishing my question. Clearly I was bothering the agent with my problem and he was trying to avoid me. If I am paying for a service I want to have it without begging for attention.

Don’t waste 50% of your money on AirHelp! They sat on my claim for 12 months with 0 progress. I terminated their contract, and filed directly with the national aviation authorities. Doing it myself was completely free. Within a month, I received 100% of my compensation (€600 per claim, €1,200 total)! Skip the middleman, file directly with the operating airline, and escalate to the local authority (like ENAC in Italy) if they ignore you. Keep all your money!

Impossible to synchronise with email. Not worth the hassle

I got an luggage insurance for my trip but when it came to make a claim after my luggage was delayed they didn't come through. There was no way of filling the claim in the app. Customer service had me file a different claim so my name would be in the system for then to be able to process it. I'm not buying this again!

I am re-writing my original review, It took a couple months , but in the end they did get my refund to me. Thank you Airhelp for following up and ensuring that the transaction was finally completed. one suggestion for the future , when there are issues in refunds try to take action faster , especially if there has been repeated contact over the course of a month after the payment was supposed to be deposited. thank you again for following through.

Well designed. Shows accurate plane position, but shows inaccurate time. I'm literally tracking a plane midflight and it keeps insisting it's leaving in an hour. Also, not using Androids Live updates is a sore miss.

absolutely no reason to pay for this service. they don't do anything for your requests and they don't have any customers service apart from unhelpful AI. don't spend your money on this app!!!

I purchased AirHelp expecting professional support for my Air India Express flight cancellation claim. The flight was cancelled one day before departure, and the airline failed to properly inform passengers. After months of waiting, AirHelp said their legal team could not challenge the airline's decision. No compensation, no result, and no real assistance. A waste of time and money. Very disappointed with both AirHelp and Air India Express. I would not recommend this service.

Do not use AirHelp for your cancelled flight claims. I filed a claim through AirHelp regarding a cancelled flight in Croatia. After I agreed to the terms, the process was started; however, a few days later, AirHelp informed me that they were withdrawing my claim. I then initiated the claim against the airline myself. The claim was eventually accepted, and the airline agreed to pay me compensation. Airhelp took 35% cut, robbed me for 210€.

scam and lie After waiting three months, they sent me nothing

I've been using AirHelp for years, it's my third compensation. I've tried going at this myself and it's impossible, so the AH service fee is actually totally acceptable... I'd rather get a few hundred EUR with close to no effort than get nothing while actively trying. And the app is super slick.

The worst app to get compensation. I would have got the compensation directly from the airline itself. But because of Airhelp policies I am stuck. My case has been pending for 6 months. They charge money and give zero help. Customer services provise no help as well. They can't even do what they primarily claim to do. Better to contact the airline directly than wasting money on this app

I just want to cancel before the next renewal please. I didn't realize that this was more than a tracker. I admit I made an error but I won't need this anytime soon.

Please stay away from AirHelp. They are the worst. I had my flight delayed in 2019. They bombarded me with emails so I made a claim in 2021. They sent me the update before the last in 2022. In 2026, I asked for a new update. They told me case dismissed because of No Show. No apology whatsoever. No updates for four years. And they cannot even commit to have their legal partner attend the court hearing. Complete inefficiency and maybe gross misconduct. Do not use this service at all.

Great app, I use it for tracking planes, for the airport run. only issue I have is every time I open it, it hangs until I clear my cache. Since the latest update (10th March), the app has worked perfectly, Thank you for sorting this.

I. am pleased to receive an email from Airhelp to advise me that my claim against Aurigny is still being pursued. They appear to be immune from any claims by stating that they are not members of The EU nor The U K. We experienced two delays ,a flight turn back and a canc ellation. Aurigny are the only 'airline' available on Guernsey. Apparently there is a website on Guernsey containing all the comments from disgruntled Guernsey residents and others.

Do not buy this insurance. My flight was delayed for 20 hours, under EU law I AM entitled to compensation. Filed a claim on AirHelp+, the airline said 'no', AirHelp said 'no'. I could've asked the airline myself and been told 'no'. Absolute waste of time and money, I will not renew or use again.

We have used AirHelp in the past and they successfully got a refund for 600 from the airline. Our flight was cancelled in London, at the last minute and we had to get a hotel, during the Queen's funeral. it was not cheap!!!

Well-designed and clear app, in addition, it is very easy to use.

My Flight was stationary for 5 hours at the runway, made me miss my second flight, which further delayed my journey by 4 hours, in total an 9 hour delay. AirHelp couldn't do anything for this case, that tells me they cannot do anything for any other flights.

I paid for this service, expecting quick, straightforward coverage if my flight was affected. It's now December 9, 2025, and my flight was initially scheduled for September 25, 2025. I could have filed directly with the airline, which would have explained that I was entitled to a refund and up to € 400 in compensation. Instead, the app only offers 400 euros and hasn't mentioned my refund. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS INSURANCE; file directly with the airline for faster resolution.

Auto-renewal games & misleading communication – avoid AirHelp+ Paid €39.99 for AirHelp+ Smart, cancelled, stopped using it – later found out they kept my subscription active and kept charging me anyway. When I cancelled again, they emailed “You renewed your AirHelp+ membership.” No, they renewed it, not me. Misleading auto-renewal + slow claim handling = I’m done with AirHelp+. Check your subscriptions and keep screenshots

just an OK app for flight tracking. First it limited the import to 99 flights (and not necessarily the latest ones). Second the sync with Gmail works but not all flights have shown up. For example it showed me only 1-way on my round trip ticket to Korea.

This is now going on for 6 months. For a claim with 2 people im repeatedly told i have to upload documents with certain details and i do so with it being accepted for one person and not the other though the same documents are uploaded. The claim says its been accepted by airline but they seem to be trying to make things so hard that i will give up and they can take the money maybe. Do yourself a favour and do the claim direct with the airline. This seems like a scam...

Quick download, put in flight number, and give you an option if it's your flight or family.

if you know someone who could do it for you, tell them. We submitted a claim for two and it has already been a month with no update, also they take almost a half of the money you would get which is ridiculous. Before using this app, do your research, it is possible it is the best from all other apps, but it could be way better

Absolutely useless service. So glad I didn't pay for the AirHelp+. They didn't even try to argue the response from the airline for a canceled flight. You can achieve the same results (or better) by communicating directly to the airline customer support. The only difference is that you will get full compensation not 65% of the compensation. Scam service with false advertising and claims.

Airhelp has helped to get compensation for missed flight from dbx to chn. Support is very good. Appreciate the efforts.

not showing the baggage belt number. Flight no. 6E 2448. looks like the section is not there where baggage belt no. and gate no and basic details shows. just showing high level details..with weather information only. if those sections or fields exist where it can be seen then help to provide the navigation steps for the same. Also for some of the flight name is not showing details like for spice Jet

its very easy to use amd i understand it fully. hopefully my claim will be sorted too

Today 02/09 Flight number: FR 512 (22:50) Bristol to Dublin Ryanair. It's currently boarding and app showing delayed (even tho its not) 03/09 EJU 7004 BRS to Malaga, it's boarding but again, the app only shows as ontime Now departed and i received an email stating the flight is delayed..... Lol! No problem. I just tried another one from Bristol (BRS) and I guess your app doesn't work correctly with this airport neither shows the bag belt. How can i add flights before 2020?

I had a terrible experience with AirHelp Plus. My flight was delayed by 6 hours due to a strike, but AirHelp falsely claimed it was because of bad weather and refused my compensation request. This is simply not true. Buying this insurance was a complete waste of money they do not protect passengers as they promise. Very disappointing and misleading service.

The way to connect to customer support is badly designed. Despite being logged in you need to provide additional details. Communication channels are changing between the app and email. Support is not helpful. Can't change account email automatically, when changing with request to support historical claims are disappearing. When trying to reach support, not available 24/7. Interface not handling multi Citi trips very well. Airhelp refuses to take care of the claim without providing exact reasons.

I got my compensation in less than 2 months! This app worked for me. It deducts 35% of the compensation so i suggest to use the premium if your compensation is more than the subscription fee

Nice enough replacement for FlightView, which has become totally unusable. I haven't tested the lube flight tracking yet, but everything looks promising. This app would be perfect if trips could be edited after creation, and if the time setting could be changed to AM/PM as used by most Americans. Aside from those minor issues, it's a solid app.

They charge 35% from your compensation. As word of advice, it takes 5 minutes to fill out the same EU regulated form on carriers website than they do for you. You save hundreds of Euros by doing it yourself. If you're you're lazy and not interested to get your full refund, then this is a good app for you. I apologize for the bad review, but I learned a lesson here and want to educate others for easy alternatives. Two stars for quick response from support proving they deserve the money #fineprint

How & Why does this app not been discovered yet!? I only knew about the website air help but an app too! Wow. You got delayed, canceled, or missed flight (connections) not cause of your fault but airlines, the app will help you, even deal with the airline(s) on behalf of you for the compensation, and if it's a success it'll take a small % of it as it's fee. Noice! Hope my review helps! 🙏

Really impressed with this app. The flight tracking is excellent, and I found it really easy to search for and add my flights — even without entering the booking reference. One of the best parts: I got a notification informing my flight was delayed All the features are completely free to use. The company is only interested if your flight is delayed and you decide to submit a claim
