Six weeks and counting, and an evidently fraudulent case remains unresolved, despite the evidence provided and the scam itself being acknowledged. Even more concerning, the account responsible is still active on your platform. Perhaps this is the real horror story Airbnb should be telling.

won't even let me login , nothing goes to my email to confirm tried to make a different account same problem it's a shame it won't take my booking bc ,I can't login.

Your system needs to show the address before we confirm the booking and payment. It was showing 100 meters from the place where I should stay. After payment confirmation your system showed 450 meters away.

No customer service. Stay with anyone else. iv used them for years. Air bnb is THE WORST!. THEY WILL ALLOW HOSTS TO STEAL FROM YOU. See what happens when you call. USE HOTELS!

I booked Air bnb in Bangalore via the app but it was cancelled as my 'identity could not be verified '. Why?

absolutely discriminatory

First time user. The app is okay. Many well done features, some major deficiencies. When taking a photo of my ID, the app constantly claimed that the photo was "too blurry". I had excellent lighting, cleaned my camera lens(es) and still wasn't able to make the capricious software happy. I eventually noticed that I could just hit [next] and move forward. Two stars lost for grumpy software.

instead of banning scammers that publish fake properties (once you arrive, they do not exist or the "hosts" cancel your booking a day before the arrival, it happened so many times), the management of Airbnb bans honest users just because they didn't access the account for over a year, without giving an explanation and without a possibility to restore an account. I'll never use your service again and will persuade all my friends and acquainces not to use your service

I find great places on this app and if I ever have any issues Airbnb always solves it with no problem.

Not recommended as Host. 1. Invest the money in apartment. 2. Have all accountability 3. Get recommended 'hobby-co-hosts' by this app (!!) 4. Have a lot of work and fight co host trying to spend your money on 'improvements' 5. Agent rage quits when feeling offended. Leaving bookings next day behind. 6. Spend additional money to cancel existing bookings. No help from Airbnb (they are not responsible for behaviour of co hosts). Strongly not recommended.

They denied me from renting an Airbnb, claiming I was a threat to have a party, even though I did nothing to insinuate a party of any sort; support did nothing to help.

The reviewing process and policies are set up in a way that benefits the guest. No matter the price, detailed description, and willingness to help the guests, as a host, you will get poor reviews based on things completely out of your control. In my experience, if you dispute, Airbnb's support staff will be of no help. I still plan on using the app as a guest and host, but expect this to happen to you. CHANGED TO ONE STAR: New policies scew the hosts. Expect nightly prices to go up for guests.

When extending my stay, airbnb did not allow me to select which payment method to use, and did not charge my default payment method.

DO NOT TRUST AIRBNB REVIEWS ON THEIR APP. Worst platform for trusting someone blindly. Host was biased and racist, turned off lights at 11 and airbnb is so bad that it removed my review from their app.

As far as I can tell this app is awful. I tried to put in my first reservation and I keep getting declined because the app is accusing me of wanting to have a party in the places I try to reserve. How does the app know what I plan to do? Incredibly intelligent design.

need help getting my phone number added to my account as it's associated with the previous owner, but the customer service chat is just an AI bot that can't do anything. bring back real people who can actually fix problems! Also I'm getting emails from air bnb in the wrong language.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The host was friendly, accommodating, and very responsive. Everything was exactly as expected, making my stay relaxing and enjoyable. I highly recommend this place and would definitely book again!

The app has several issues, including inaccurate property locations that make visiting and inspecting properties difficult, especially standalone flats. The same property was listed twice under nearby locations, leading us to book both for our friends’ group. Only after check-in did we discover they were the same property, causing considerable inconvenience. Additionally, owner or caretaker contact details are unavailable, and responses through the chat feature are inconsistent.

A guest called me "genocide supporter", "threatening avowed Zionist". Airbnb DID NOT enforce nondiscriminatory Policy. They are blind to this type of discrimination. Airbnb also refused to bring down his review as biased. Instead they refunded the guest. I notified the guest about the refund using the WhatsApp number provided by Airbnb. Airbnb removed my 12 years account under the pretext of the WhatsApp message I sent the guests.

I have used the Airbnb a few times now and always found great places to stay. It works out cheaper than hotels and friends & family can enjoy quality time together rather than being separated by hotel rooms. A much better experience than hotels and always good quality properties.

Stopped using the platform after 6yrs. Airbnb has become financially greedy, overly controlling with policies, and increasingly unsupportive of both hosts and guests. They profit from our business but fail to provide fair treatment or meaningful help when problems arise. Their excessive control and lack of accountability are disappointing. Do better! Without its hosts and guests, there is no business. Do better! And just stop with the miserably, useless AI support.

Terrible experience with Airbnb Support. I knew my £797 booking was non-refundable, so I called before cancelling. I explained that my pregnant wife has a severe fear of dogs. Their representative assured me I would receive a full refund and instructed me to cancel first. I followed their advice, but Airbnb then refused the refund, offering only £48.25. Despite repeated complaints, they ignored the misleading advice given by their own staff. I lost almost £750 simply because I trusted Airbnb.

Please add Sri Lankan Rupees for currency, which makes transaction way easy

Hotels are cheaper and way more stress free. the new policy changes might change some aspects for guests, but doesn't change how hosts can cancel on you just to raise the cost. A lot of hosts have no integrity on the app and thats the issue.

Absolute hassle to contact hosts to ask questions about your stay prior to reserving. Have to do a message then pray the host understands what you're trying to ask. Horrible design. App could easily set up a Google proxy number or similar to use which still protects the hosts and allows you to call and ask questions for extenuating situations.

Air BNB booms with my card on a non refundable refuses to refund me after asking me to dispute the charge back I would steer very clear of them as a person who's used them 13 trips the last 3 have been nightmare fuel dirty rooms to host trying to create false damage reports (which i won the dispute on) i would go through booking and get a hotel instead from now on having a balcony isnt worth getting your info stolen and deaking with air bnb "supporrrt"

Airbnb has came into clutch and has been a tremendously BIG help and has saved the day I dont know how many times! Decent prices, good customer service and sometimes fast refund policy, although some reservations are non-refundable. Very clear interface, not confusing and able to find my bookings easily. May struggle a bit when first time using the app but you'll get used to it. Phone number verification is a bit troublesome when you're new to this app, there's a 24 hour non-bypassable cooldown if you do too many reattempts, so better do phone number verification first before booking any place at last minute

Verify identity experience that happens through Authbridge and Digilocker is buggy and miserable. Total misfit for the kind of experience that Airbnb offers..

It would take a long time to forget how badly I was treated by Airbnb's offshore customer service, which totally sided with the host both times I had a problem with long stays where hosts didn't keep their word. I'm definitely looking to get out of the Airbnb ecosystem for long stays and rent directly from property owners.

When a host cancels your reservation, the support team is PHENOMENAL. They're so helpful the cancelation is hardly an inconvenience.

Would like to see checkout lists be required for postings. It really would have swayed a few decisions, but as it stands this app is becoming obselete. with the 'high and mighty' terrible hosts seeking to put weight the ones who actually care I'd rather just book a hotel or use another booking app.

one of the host took my money and now airbnb can't help me... Actually i booked an apartment and it was confirmed by host. then afte 2-3 hours he called and told me hw has previous guests they want extension please cancel your booking we'll refund the amount although its showinv non refundable. now after 20 days money is still not refunded, airbnb says this that policy, host not picking calls, i was fooled by airbnb's host.I request to go to another platform if airbnb has that type of culture.
