Can't link with other parents threw email, which I really really needed to be able to simplify the huge amount of communication but I still really like how well you can keep track of how much money your kids have and how they made the money. Not worth $40 a year though just to track that. Would have liked to be able to link other caregivers though.

I use this often with 3 boys. I have tried doing this in Excel but it is game changer to have the ledger handy when you are bombarded with requests Also got actual support which helped solve my problem in a timely manner.

I want the explanation to understand how to use it even more precisely

I was picturing how an ideal allowance tracking app works, and this app works EXACTLY like I wanted. It's really well designed, easy to use, and carefully thought out. I like that the kids get read only access to their balance and both parents can modify the balance. Other apps try to force you into getting a debit card, which I did NOT want. The app is just so simple and a pleasure to use.

my son is autistic. He loves money and at the moment doesn't understand how it works and I came across BOMAD and love it. I can't wait to teach him to be moneywise with it!

Exactly what I was looking for as a simple app. But I refuse to pay for something this insanely simple. I'll use a notebook instead, it is cheaper.

I love this app. I don't use it for it's original purpose. I use it to keep track of different categories in my one checking account. so I made 3 different profiles which represent 3 different categories, those are groceries, vacation and personal spending. This app also has sub categories inside those 3 categories which can be months or other items I'm saving for. I've been using this app for a long time and it works great 😃👍

This is a fantastic app. I enjoy the mobile way of keeping track. how much money my kids have. This is an upgrade from the cash envelope system we are doing before. this feels like a great stepping stone to helping them learn about banking in the real world and to make them more accountable with their money.

You want me to pay $2.50 a month for a pretty calculator. I understand you need to make money but this isn't something subscription worthy. should be a 1 time payment of $10.

This is a really good app - especially if you are travelling overseas and you want to keep track of the kids spending. 5 star!

Reviews are misleading, it is not free. you get "5 transactions" for free.

it's a cool app but unfortunately there isn't a free way to use it. You need the subscription to even use it the most basic parts of the app. it would be better if there was at least a weekly or monthly transaction limit instead of the flat 5 you get.

Garbage app - baiting you in to pay. Responding - it is a glorified calculator that allows 3 calculations then you hit the paywall. Profoundly absurd.

Works great super simple and easy exactly what we needed. Our kids behavior has improved as they now realize the value of money and don't want to lose it.

I love this app because if you are trying to make a new payment or save some money 💰 🤑 the app is great for me to use. the only issue that I want is a way to rearrange the accounts that I set up so my main account will be on the top and my lesser account will be on the bottom so it will be easier to get to if I need to add or remove money from my account.

app works great for your first 6 or so free transactions. Then I got to teach my 5yo an even greater lesson! Don't monthly subscription yourself to debt. I'll just keep track of allowance in Google notes now.

Excellent app. It is so simple and easy to use exactly what we need. I'd just like an option to back it up or to send the balances/transactions by email occasionally in case of a lost phone or software crash. Thank you. It's now updated and backed up by the developer on the cloud. I'm so impressed with the service, we use this app all the time as a family.

If I would've read the reviews before I downloaded, I would've saved myself time and energy. It is advertised as free in Google searches and then once you input all of your information, then they tell you have to pay a subscription. The subscription is at least a reasonable amount ($19.99/ year) but it is not free.

Misleading. It doesn't show that it costs anything, so you install it, and once you input all of your info and try to start making transactions, it requires you to pay for it. Sad that it was a waste of time. Just be up front! I was looking for a free app with this functionality. This comes up in search results as a free allowance tracker app. Warn users that this is not a free app in the description. Having in-app purchases is different from not being able to use the app at all without paying.

This app is exactly what I was looking for. it's not bloatware, has an easy to use interface and it's teaching my son how to be cognizant of his spending. I wish there was a one time purchase option besides a subscription as the premium features are nice to have but don't warrant an ongoing subscription but I would still like to support the developer.

I guess it is fine but it is pretty boring. The UI looks dead. And it does not have other options. It's only for tracking balance for the kids but there are better and offline alternatives and 100% free so.

Only allows a handful of "transactions" before paying for a membership. It does far too little for me to consider paying for it.

I never rate apps, but this is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Free and simple, well-designed app interface that allows for managing an "account" for each of my young kids (aged 5 and 8) without actually accessing a stream of money. Think of it like a simple, sharable ledger that you can manage with another parent/guardian. You can easily set up notifications when value is added/detracted. Download the app to your kids' phone or tablet to allow them access to check their individual balances!

Easy to use and age appropriate without the complexities of other money apps

We needed something simple to add only the $ in and out of the kids allowance, and that allows them to see their balances. We're not interested in chore apps or any checklists. So far this is exactly what we need!

The app does exactly what I've been trying to track on a spreadsheet, but using BOMAD is so much easier.

This is an excellent app, with incredible learning value for the kids. I love the ability to add multiple kids, as well as being able to track what drivers resulted in more money (good deeds, chores) or took away from the bank (bad deeds).

Very nice application

Wonderful app! Does everything i need it to do to keep track of my kids' money. Instead of keeping IOU notes in my phone, or head, I can immediately deduct how much the kids spend in the app. Loads more wonderful features too including the ability to work with multiple currencies. Highly recommend this app.

I've been looking for a simple user friendly app to keep track of my kid's allowance and spending. And I found Bomad, it's perfect! No ads, just straightforward automatic calculations for you. Also super convenient for me as we travel we spend in different currencies, this app has the exchange rate feature so you don't have to convert the figures yourself. Big thanks to Bomad!! :)

BOMAD's working well for us so far!

The app is good, the features are good, and I would recommend to anyone to install this if they need to manage their kids allowance. However, there is one thing I'm very disappointed by, which is the fact that this app is choosing to monetize by subscription. My kid is 6 years old, I don't need any of the pro features other than setting recurring allowance. I would have preferred to unlock it with a one-time payment.

It works but could use updates

Nice functionality for a free app. Suggestion: there should be parental settings to turn on/off kids adding or subtracting their own allowance as I don't want them to mess with the amount (parents can allow/deny addition only)

Simple and intuitive. Has all the features that are needed to keep track of income and outgoing money. I love that you can have sub accounts for saving, and the fact you can schedule recurring find to be added each week or month.

Exactly what I was looking for!

This is just what I was looking for to keep track of my 3 young teens' spending money. We have tried 3 different apps and they were too geared towards young kids. I needed a simple, uncluttered app to track their spending. When they earn money from chores (or get gift money), we add it in the app. Most of their spending is cashless, so we pay and subtract it from their balance in the app. Having the transaction history keeps everything clear and helps them learn money management.

Its a simple and nice app, I just wish that you could edit the premade reasons/make new ones, but then again you could just manually type it out.

Great app. Really like being able to manage and track my kids pocket money without having it linked to a bank account/card. We don't use much cash in our family so we were always forgetting to hand out pocket money. this app solved the problem as it tracks it all and then we just subtract whay the kids spend.
