this is a great app. but I please please lower the ads by 65%. It would make the experience way make peaceful and I could learn more because I use this when I have limited time before work or bed and the ads kinda drag it out and waste time I could've spent learning.

Great app with wonderful content, but way too many ads! I really enjoyed the app, but the constant interruptions became frustrating and took away from the experience. Unfortunately, I ended up uninstalling it. I hope the developers reconsider the number of ads because the app has so much potential.

Good App but too many ads, open, ad, start bible, ad, close bible, ad, open morning devotional, ad, close morning devotional, ad, read 1 page on bible, ad, read another page, ad. they aren't intrusive but very annoying after every click/page another ad, some I cant get get out of, I have to exit the ap and restart it and get another ad. I loved this when I first started. I could read the Bible for about 15 mins without an ad, now its after every page! I get there a paid option, but I cant pay.

snake oil. Thought i was paying 99 cents a week for premium. Turns out the 99 cents is only for add free and you have to pay 12.99 a month on top of that for premium. Absolute rip off

Great for encouragement and having multiple times a day to read something

I love this app, but I noticed that on the Night Devotional 10/28, instead of the normal human voice was replaced by a computerized voice mispronouncing basic words. I hope they fix this asap.

This is a great app that has helped me stay consistent in my bible reading over the years. It's really been a blessing to me and I pray God keeps blessing,protecting and strengthening its developers.

Its a good app i paid the 99+tax to get rid of ads its only $4 a month not bad i will read more in learn about God and the bible thank you

for the most part a really great app! I don't know when this happened, but even before this update switching over to portuguese, everything still shows up in English. ... while that's good for me, my friends who speak Spanish, are not able to read it. please fix!

Blessed has finally given me hope through it's simplicity that I may grow closer to God where I have failed to do so for decades.

Good app, But 3 mandatory ads I can't skip after every task I do is kinda crazy. I'm just tryna get closer with GOD. Everything else is a W though, I just personally feel a money thing when it comes to all them ads, which isn't very God like, Opened the app and had ads waiting for me 🤦🏾‍♂️

The second time I opened the app I was put into a looping Doordash ad. could not bypass it and finally closed the app. Uninstalled! I do not want to be trying to connect with God and to be assaulted by an ad. Terrible app! If you want an ad free Bible app, look up Blue Letter Bible. multiple Bible versions available, built in concordance, audio playback, and ad free. I recommend it.

This app has helped me in more ways than I could possibly ever have imagined, it works perfectly for my life where I feel my attention is always scattered. If you're looking to find your faith or strengthen it, I can't recommend it enough.

As a dedicated disciple, I thought this would be a great app for consistency.. However, after I input my email & phone number info I was slammed with SPAM/SCAM calls/texts. I didnt even have the app installed for longer than 10 minutes.. After getting set up the app rearranged all of my apps/folders & now everything is tough to find. My phone has been warm all day. All I wanted was some Scripture. (Mind you, I came across this app because it was an Ad on YouTube.. An app made by hackers ??) 🧐🤔

My favorite app until the upgrade. I used to pay for this app and recommend it, I would screen shot and share the prayers. After the upgrade or whatever a couple of months ago, the format became too cluttered and wordy. I canceled my subscription and am looking for another option. Why mess up a good thing?

I purchase the 99cent a week subscription to avoid the ads. Overall a very good app the Ai generated answering for blessing is normally spot on. I've been using it for about 4 months now. id say its worth it when you struggle with actually reading the Bible

I really like this app but the ads are just too much. Then you have to wait until the timer goes down just to get to the verse. I really enjoyed the audio.

It is a wonderful app for learning and growing in the Lord. I really appreciate all they did to put this app together. I think the only thing that needs fixing is the ads that come in. I realized they have to have ads but they're so intrusive and they last so long. I understand they want you to pay for taking the ads out but I can't afford it otherwise I would pay to get rid of them. but it really is a great app and I recommend it to anybody that has patience for those ads. thank you blessed. 🙏

I thought this app was going to be the app for me, but it's not, for one I'm not going to have to deal with ads to unlock the audio to listen to anything, and secondly there should be a choice as to do this online or offline uninstalling this app!

Anyone on the free version giving 5 stars is a fake account.. Absolutely disgusting that the app team infect God's word with endless garbage ads, it has potential but it's too infected and God's word cost life, not money, even more disgusting that they're charging for it.

this is great for when too busy to sit and read, daily exercises can be done at own pace.

The prices are too high to have the premium and extra features. You should be ashamed of yourself for charging this much. God's word should be free. How do you sleep at night?

love this app, its really helpful and thorough with the devotionals and prayers and gets you into the word if you do the the daily task and id your in the word thats where u need to be, hence getting closer to god and making that relationship stronger which is what its all about!!!

The app is good, there's just way too many commercials. I was trying to do the quiz , and it's ridiculous at how many commercials that you have to watch . You forget about what your doing.

Gets me into the Bible.

Great app, WAY TOO MANY ADS. Any time you attempt to use the app, you are forced to watch 2-5 minutes of ads. You may have 5 touches on the app before another series of ads. Its clearly designed to make you want to pay for the app and the app itself is great but the nuisance of the ads made me delete the app. I could never finish what I was doing and as a new mom, I don't have time for so many long ads and can't justify the price to pay for the app.

Its a great app, something that they should do is have a speech to text for the prayers. Its hard to pray from my heart when im reading the phone.

I like this app, a soothing melody when when everyday inspiration. I've been listening to the bible with this app. it makes it easier.

Do not download this app. There is ad after ad after ad. There are so many ads, I have to shut the app down and reenter and get faced with ads. You can pay for an ad free version,but at 0.99¢ it isn't really worth it. I had to leave within five minutes of my subscription because other users demanded to know my whereabouts, which I refused to give out. I'd like a refund considering I only used it for less than five minutes.

Way too many commercials and advertisements, but other than that the Blessed app has been really helpful! I've read more of the Bible in the last two weeks than I have in a long time, thanks to the reminders that show up on my lock screen each morning and evening. Not to mention all of the notifications! The To-Do check list on the front page of the app is super helpful to make sure I see the progress I'm making, plus it helps keep me focused so I don't get distracted. I love the app overall!

I think this is an amazing app, and I so badly want to give it 5 stars. Unfortunately, the ads are out of control. I can't argue that the subscription price is more than fair, and they have to get income from somewhere. But I hate the idea of needing to watch Meowdoku ads just to get to my devotional, or daily prayer, or have to watch TikTok advertisements just to open the app. Again, I do love it. But the ads and their frequency are near greedy

I was only 5sec into the app when I was forced to watch a Tipsy Chat ad 🤮 That's not what I want to see esp on a Bible app. Imagine if a user is dealing with lust?! I've also never experienced a shop tab on any other Bible app before. The Elah ring is nice but I wish I could hide that tab since it serves me no purpose (unless I buy the $200 ring). Just seems like a waste of space imo.

At first it was great. Really helped me change my focus to God throughout the day. But the ads have gotten to bad that I am erasing it this morning because it's a struggle to even get into the app now. Ads that you gotta keep closing out multiple pages! If you bump any other part of the screen you end up getting redirected to a web page. And the apps are insane, definitely nothing to do with positive self growth. Its the most disappointing because I had over 160 days straight of use.

The app has been awesome. I was encouraged with the devotionals and the daily blessings. For some reason, the format the morning and evening devotionals changed where It's all at once and not one at a time and intentional. I really appreciate the daily blessings. I enjoy sharing my day and getting encouragement back. That's the best part. I would give a better rating, but the other devotionals have too much all at once where it's not as engaging for me. Regardless, I am encouraged often.

Anyone experiencing issues with the app this morning

I used to love this app. on it everyday. since the new update ive been having issues where the home screen keeps saying ive lost connection and my connection is fine. tried to uninstall and reinstall and it still says it. too many ads now too and ive lost all my progress since this new update. please put a patch for the update. I really enjoyed this app so much and now I can't even use it

So i encountered a bug on the app my time and date it correct but the app tells me it's not and am offline eventhough am not. it's been working fine for years but the update is keeping me from even accessing the home page. I uninstalled and reinstalled, it didn't recognize me, gave me a new user name, and still isn't working. I'm just going to use Glorify for now. I'm very disappointed because I've been using Blessed daily for about 2 years now

The Blessed app is one of the best i have encountered

the app itself is wonderful but it takes forever for it to stop bufferin just to get to the Word. Then after you read a chapter here comes ads after everything you do.I can't log on it says a verse doesn't exist for this date something like that, then it says I'm offline which is crazy because I the had to look at several ads b4 I could even see the page where it said I'm offline this is crazy

over all I like the app and the notifications to help remind me to get into God's word but the adds that have been popping up have been extremely inappropriate for a Christian app.

would give it 5 stars and keep it but there are just too many ad's popping up... so it is going to be deleted unfortunately.

update: I get an ad every time I click something and often, an ad pops up randomly. Some Xs are small and sometimes I can't exit Play Store. I'm sad to find something else Great annotating features like different highlighter colors and notes and you can share Verses right from reading the scripture! I like tuning into a featured Livestream and getting interpretations with the chat birdie Bebe. I wish we could share the prayer images from the Quiz games.

I haven't officially subscribed yet but my only complaint is too many ads. Otherwise, great!

I preferred the app , before the last update, I do not like how the prayers are set up now. I liked the holding of the button while I prayed and it vibrated. was over all a better layout as well.

great app 9/21/26 edit to add: the ads are getting to a bit much. I know they're to keep the app free, but the ads have been more than usual lately to the point I'm thinking about uninstalling. I know it's 99 cents a day to get rid of ads but I just read a review that stated they paid for the ad free version but still get ads! $365.00 a year is way too much to pay and STILL get ads. it's misleading. I downgraded my rating from 4 stars to 2. Such a shame too because I just hit 550 day streak

This app has helped me grow closer to the Lord! the live hosts are amazing! there bible study's are amazing, they make this app what it is, I do wish they would hire more hosts though they lost a number of them and haven't replaced any of them. also wish they did more for the hosts instead of it being on us to give them donations I feel the creators should give the hosts more then they do, they are the reason this app is as popular as it is so give back to them, it's greedy not too.

It was advertised to display on lock screen- doesn't seem to but could be something I'm missing. Main issue is excessive ads, I would pay one time but I will not pay a weekly subscription. If there is a way to put out on the lock screen they should have a simple walk through since it's advertised as so.
