Download Writer Plus (Write On the Go) V1.48 APK Free, Mod Premium

when they say they wanted to make a writing app that was easy and convenient to use they hit the nail right on the head. I love this app you don't have to remember to save anything you can delete all you want to you don't have to make a bunch of fancy titles or say where you want to store stuff you just use it. I think this thing is good if you want to write a store list or if you want to write a book this thing is awesome thank you Jesus is all I can say

If you're looking for a simple and easy-to-use application, this one will suit you perfectly.

I love to use it for large files storage in the category wise and folders with sub folders, only issue is no cloud storage options, google notes should learn from this app, how a notes app should be worked.

great simple writing app

I love this app, but I need it on my newest device. Hopefully the dev could update it 🥺

please be consider... Writer plus is my favourite writing app.. and I need it in my life.. like literally.. I have saved up many novels i've been writing for years there. but now I gotta new phone( samsung s25 ultra ) and i cannot download the app. it doesn't support.. please please update.. please

Outstanding app for notes, it has no clutter nor any unwanted things.

It saved my life. I'm so pleased with the interface and just- It's so inspiring.

10/10, works perfectly, no unnecessary features, plenty of file export options. I've recommended this to a friend, who now also uses it.

It's great for writing stories and songs, and other ideas, but I'd like to be able to print without exporting to a word processor.

simple and great app

very sad it doesn't work on A7

I am satisfied with the overall performance of Writer Plus. it is my go to for all my creative writing and other important information that I need to store in folders or for memoirs and ideas I may just want to keep in the App for future reference and use.

Easy to use.

fantastic and easy to use. i use it to write novels almost as fast as a keyboard. stores local files and lets me work the way I want to.

perfect

perfect app for writing and note keeping. In addition kindly add a folder locking system too

Works well, no ads

clean, simple, does what it says on the tin

this is the great app for immediate note with simple settings, no complications

Loved this app in all the years I've used it especially the folder system. Unfrotunately, it's not available as an app on my new phone so I have to find something else. Sad to see it go.

The best app for getting text written. Completely clutter-free. No distractions. Dark mode. Seems to save automatically on shutdown. Export locally or to cloud. Brilliant!!! Only problem is I accidentally uninstalled it, and Play Store wouldn't let me reinstall it, claiming it was incompatible with my device, even though it was working a minute earlier. Had to find an APK to reinstall. Works great again.

Not now, let me use.

very helpful

Excellent writing tool. Simple and easy. I have used this app for years and it's the best. but now it cannot be installed on my Samsung Galaxy A57. Not compatible. Dear creator: can you do something. Many thanks

just wow

It gives a great user experience

This is the best note app with 50,000 words capacity. Don't miss the app. This is offline and easy to use.

Great app. Works for my writing needs. Thanks 🌠 Still using, 2024. Still great. Unable to use my laptop, I wrote two books on Writer+ Thanks. (How about a bin? It can keep discarded notes for say, 3 days?) 2026 👍

Devastated! love this app but not compatible with my pixel10a! please update!

honestly I saw every Notes app and the one I liked is this one, it's just so simple and has a nostalgic feeling, I wrote so many random and important things here and it also feels Great writing here. It's UI is smooth and simple with no other unnecessary features. tho it would be great if u guys would add the feature to add images in notes. but overall have been using it for 5-6 years and still am not disappointed 5/5, ⭐

My files are trapped inside my phone! Please do something, I can't access my files. The folder is not available. Could you please update the app, so android will allow me to see my files?

simply perfect

perfect for my memeory

Perfect for me, simple to use. I would like the option to sync this App with my other phone which has this App too.

This app has helped me in more ways than I had expected. 'Read aloud' and 'Ask Claude' features are super helpful.

Loved this until I changed phones. even after copy/pasting from previous files directly into the writer folder, it isn't loading into view anymore?? please fix this or tell me how to fix because I have over 60 mb of writing being fully out of access due to this

one of the best apps - does what it says (unlike most apps), and works really well. I'd give it 10 stars

I am really enjoying this marvelous app, it's easy and simple for me to use. I am thankful to the creator for providing the best application for those who love writing...

Very nice app, no intrusive ads and no too fancy features or pay walls, like it, keep up the great work!

I like this app,I was able to use it to write what I wanted. There was no challenge I encountered in the process of writing.I'm of the opinion that, the developers should tree to add how to save a finish work through Docx or PDF.It is a free app!.I didn't encounter any ads. Thanks .

Nice app for exiting your ideas in it without everyone saying this is for children

Perfect

Nice and very useful writing pad with same features that Writer James macminn pad had. Difference is that, James macminn writing notepad app size was of few kb but it is not updated from last few years so maybe it sometimes shows error. This Writer plus app is like a son of the previous app, though it's size is four to five Mb and seems more stable, but it shows wrong word count.

I love this app so much but I upgraded my phone and it's not compatible! I'm seeing a lot of people having issues with this aswell. I have lost a lot of notes!! Please DO something about this.

Developer, a big kudos to you for this wonderful app. It's simple and very easy to use. Nevertheless, it will be better if the app can be upgraded to allow backing up our documents, incase the phone is changed. Thanks a lot

why is it saying that the app is no longer applicable to my device, there was no email nothing at all, all my data is gone this is so horrible on part of the developers disgusting disgusting, I am an author, I had so many things on it, so horrible 😡😡, i wouldn't even give it one star

This app is the definition of simplicity. If you want a simple text editor that isn't gouged with AI and Ads, you are at the right place. Plus it has Folders and Markdown Formatting, C'mon

Best for note

good text writer, and its feature are very helpfull.

The app exists very well 🙏🙏🙏

very good 💯

It's honestly pretty simple and good to use for me. I recommend it.

I'll keep this short, because I'm busy and had to break off to write this review. I don't like this app. When you are writhing there's no cursor so it makes editing the document impossible! That is short-sighted by the Devs. So now, I've got move all my work to another app and start my work all over again. Thanks for nothing. Idiots

2026 UPDATE: I first reviewed this app eleven years ago. I still have it on my phone, AND IT IS GREAT. If there was a sixth star, it would get it! :: Original review = Needed a little Markdown editor ... and here it is. Right feature set (minimal, but does the needful), and right price. :) Tidy app! Could do with a slightly larger subset of Md, but since files are just stored as text, it hardly matters. Congrats to the dev.

more usefully

love it and useful

Simple and devoid of distractive ads

À Wonderful App companion, Always a helping hand at the end of my arm every time I need it. Every phone needs this app

Very easy and simple for daily note, runs smoothly. Required some more feature for advance like convert to PDF. However currently I am using very older android version 5.1 coz My phone got defected, so let see on new phone which is about to come

So fast

It's perfect for my storytelling 👍😁

pretty simple and straightforwad to use

Good

I seem to have lost my files ,help me recover them asap.

excellent app

nzuri

very useful app for writers and content creator

catatan hilang setelah update

flexibility 100% infact,I have nothing to say. words can't describe how good this app is

This is my favorite writing app and I was so sad when I couldn't put it on my old phone. I did have a jailbreak a little bit to actually get it again but it's worth it. it just feels right when I'm using it. The only suggestion that I have is to make it so the cursor opens up where it lasts left off rather than at the top every time.

Nice and lovely to work with. Easy to edit and transfer on to the laptop. No problem of interference with adverts. Great work

really good for notes and writing but beware that new devices may not be compatible

This is the perfect app for me as a writer. Simple formatting, no fancy but useless features. Just a notes app, but so, so much better, despite staying relatively simple Absolutely perfect. Have been using it for at least 3 years, never could use any other notes app after that without coming back to this one anyway

Not working well on Galaxy Tab A9+ Works great on my older Android tablet, not so much on the Galaxy Tab. cursor moves by itself, cannot align with typing, spell check not working. what to do? Now I discover almost impossible to transfer your files ( writing) to a new tablet! The App will transfer but not the data! 5 years of writing now of no use!😬☹

Too good solved my problem

Most amazing app. Reliable & does exactly what it was meant for. Thank you so very much!!!

all's well so far 🤞

I've been using Writer Plus for years now, and all of those years it's been good, solid, consistent and dependable. Thank you for making this app. This has been my go to writing app for a very long time, and it has functioned efficiently and smoothly the entire time. One of the first apps I download when I get a new device. The lack of a backup is a feature to me, rather than a downside.

while i still adore this app and use it frequently, i have to change my review from 5 to 4 stars, which is not at all a bad rating, but i have encountered some issues since I wrote it: namely the cursor often disappears, now more than it used to. It didn't bother me once, but it's getting kind of ridiculous.

Fast and easy to use.

update It is still easy to use

good

Exactly what I was looking for. A super simple, distraction free writing space with basic formatting support and folder organization. Nothing more. Nothing less. Just a blank slate with the tools I need to focus on my ideas, not the billion distracting features I don't need in my writing app.

What an awesome app! I find it extremely useful. It's my right-hand app.

good app but sometimes I face issues such as writing and never finding the note. I don't know the exact reason but overall it's a good app

Really helpful for plans & thought

very useful app

Excellent note app but one important thing is missing which is backup so that people will not lose their notes when phone is flashed.

best in every way

Cannot share or copy out files other wise 5 *****

It was a very good Nd impressive app to use

old and still useful

Just love it!

‼️UPDATE‼️ Today! 5/4/26 Now my SD card is corrupted, and what files I have left on the phone are duplicating! No other apps I have are doing this so BE AWARE‼️(Yesterday 5/3/26 ) I just opened the app to ZERO files. However.. they are on my SD card. I did not move them there, in fact, I haven't used this app in awhile! I did not give permission to take my files off of the app completely. Writing is a lifetime hobby and I've used this app for two years!! So two years of writing GONE!!! DON'T USE

Does not reliably auto save so I've lost some notes, and email to developers bounced so no help. Disappointed

My favorite thing about this app so far is how simplistic the formatting is. It reminds me a lot of Scrivener in how I'm able to just focus on writing and not get distracted by inconsequential things. Also, no AI is a BIG one for me — and I've yet to see a trace of it here! I'm overjoyed!!

I love the app, but some of my stuff was deleted. Please make an undo button! There's also no backup, which is disappointing.

This is an amazing app but it's also why I haven't switched over to a new phone yet... is there something similar that works on a Google pixel 9?

Ok

I like this app. It has no ads and really simple. Edit: I use this app for journaling my thoughts and I really like it. For example, I can create a folder inside this app and create a text file inside it.

App quase perfeito.

mst app hai

Great app. Never had issues with it. its unfortunate I can't install it to my new phone. New phone not supported I guess. I do hope it gets updated to work on newer Android versions.

using this for months I really love this app no ads no money needed it's just Yeah u can't log in with your gmail so if you ever deleted the app u will not get to whatever u have written but I really love this app i write poetry here and One Day I will publish all of them for sure 🍂

It is a great app.

This app has great potential, really. However, it seems that the developer abandoned the app entirely. I was a 'Google Docs' user, but now with AI embedded in everything, apps like this one are a breath of fresh air. The UX could be more modernized, and the UI experience is fine. Anyways, thanks for not letting this app die. It's what I've been looking for.

excellent 👌

love it<3

Is there no update for newest device???? too bad :((( i love using this as notes

So, this is one of the best and easiest writing apps I've used. I've had it for a couple of years, taking up digital dust, and after having issues with my normal apps that were getting to be too frustrating, I decided to finally try this app. I like its file system where you can have multiple text files in a main file that is for that specific project, so you aren't getting lost between projects. 1 gripe, that when reading through for errors, it randomly freaks out and scrolls far away. plz fix

I use it every day. It's uncomplicated. A lovely text editor.

Finally an app to write stuff in. You'd think it wouldn't be so hard to find a simple writing app but s many other apps overcomplicate things. This one is simple, clean and easy!

I'm feeling happy with this app.

perfect

It's a free note-taking app with dark mode, note folders and no ads. I wish it supported syncing to an account so notes are automatically saved.

Love it!!.. took me a while to find something as useful as this. My appreciation goes to the developer(s). Thank you. Peter R. England.

export options don't function

Super fun and easy to use!

man i LOVE this app so much and it doesn't have ads and it doesn't crash while I'm writing a long text, which it happened to me before :( but with this app everything is so smooth and when i opened the app and i saw this "Writing should not be about the tools that you use, but about the ideas and thoughts that you have" i immediately knew this app would be amazingly good, thx for the app man it truly helps me a lot with long texts, now i can write my storys without worrying about crashing :D

I had to panic stop using this app. No longer compatible. May have lost all my files if I had not noticed some weird changes to functionality. Then I read horror stories of reviews where people lost ALL THEIR FILES when their phone updated. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS APP. I have used it since at least January of 2019 I left a review previously that was just 'good night mode' and 5 stars. So glad I saved on laptop. Beware and switch apps immediately!

No frills, succinct, straightforward, agile, deft and nifty! Well done to the designers of this app. Five stars all the way!!

The app is fairly easy to use and I appreciate how it stores my entries in chronological order. Helps me to stay organized. So thank you.

Awesome

I love using the app because it helps me to write and print easily

Great to use for permanent safe place. would love to know if I can print from this app?

no ads; folder feature is nice for organization; bold/italic/etc being done through codes like **bold** instead of UI buttons can get confusing, but the welcome note has a full list of all of the markdowns and how to get them so it's not too bad, just don't delete the welcome note. made for writing but I've been using it as a notes app since my phone didn't have one baked in and it works very well for that!

return my poems in writer plus

this app is so good, this is what I can tell ✨

This app is great and easy to use, but I'm unhappy with it on this phone I'm using now. I can still write and create folders, but for some reason, the app won't let me put my stories in the folders. Everything else is fine, but if this little problem can be fixed, I'd appreciate it. I still love this app and am still giving it 5 stars and recommend it to everyone.

Superb

It's simply wonderful

beautiful, ah, the drama of a new pen...

awesome allows my imagination to follow freely. keep up the good work... now what would be awesome if you guys was connected to Writer guild or AI creator system.

this app can destroy your all data.lite writer is very nice app to restore data, besides it has no text alphabetizer.

very useful writing app 👍

Why can't I find this for my new phone when I enter the Name as listed here?

this app is one of the Greatest app I have ever used and I'm also Writing Stories and It's Simple to use

pretty solid program honestly, simple and effective.

it's good honestly

1 good app for temporary keepings 2 add google back up preference.

always comes handy when planning my notes

basic , easy to use, not cluttered up with too many unneeded features,

i like it

OK simple writing app, get your thoughts down fast, edit easily, carches grammar and spelling errors, then export your work to detail edit with what ever Word app you have. BUT BUT BUT BUT .... YOU CAN'T AN ODT DOC YOU MIGHT HAVE ON YOUR TABLET FROM AN EMAIL!!

so far so good. less than a week using this. instant word pouring after opening program. no need long loading. will update later once the file size is getting bigger or if there were issues about unsaved / lost work

This app was built for an older version of Android. Please update it. Technology is changing fast." Or in a more polite and clear way: "Dear developer, this app is not compatible with the latest Android version. It says it may not work properly and lacks new security and privacy features. Please update the app according to the changing technology." If you want a short and direct version for a review/comment section: "Please update this app. Technology is changing, and this version is outdate

Please update it so it's compatible with the latest android version!! This app is a godsent, I'd love to use it on my new phone without having to find the apk elsewhere :( <3

Fantastically simple tool for getting actual writing done!

not a bad app. it's easy to navigate. The only issue is I used to send image files directly to my WhatsApp status but that option is no longer working please fix it

So far the best notepad for sermon outlines.

cool app.

Godswill recommends 100%. Use it the way you want

It's a really simple tool! I've used it for years on mobile and recently installed it on my Chromebook. It works fine there as well! The only downside is that on a Chromebook the cursor won't show up to show you where you're writing. I also recommend backing up your files often, just because I have had files get corrupted in this app before. It most likey isn't the apps fault, though. File corruption can happen in any app. You can backup your files manually and don't have to sync to your drive.

nice app that works for what I need it to do. no ads

one of the best app ever with no ads only writing your thighs

Lost my files after opening this app on my new phone to find it is no longer compatible. Only providing a new rating so people are aware to check the compatibility and to remember to have a backup just in case. Did not have a backup myself (which is 100% my fault). The contact in the app for the devs is an email address which no longer exists.

Writer plus is a user friendly app I have ever used so far. This is so because of its flexibility to edit documents. It allows me to edit documents anytime anywhere. Simply, I'm enjoying its features. More important if this app could be equipped with printing and pdf accessory features.

Excellent

I still use this on my old 2022 Moto G Stylus, but it no longer works with my 2026 version. Highly disappointing, this was THE BEST writing app on the Playstore—period. Years of usage never disappointed me. Thank you for this while we had it, devs! 🫶🏽

i really like this app due to its simplicity

Hey how about adding a cursor to the program? It would be nice to know where you are!!! I am talking about when I try to use an external keyboard. Like right now as I type this I see a cursor. You won't see any using this program with an actual keyboard.

I am enjoying the app

Does what it says, fast, simple, minimal memory footprint.

It’s not loading on my phone

this app is not compatible with my new phone 😭

it's so peaceful without ads, I would stay in my phone all day writing away. it's a very good writing app and I would recommend it.

The main frustration is the heading it is wildfire I press the label file, but the design or soft ware is lscking

Awesome

good at what it does [-:

supest besf

I've been using this app for a long time on the tablet and phone. I've yet to learn how to use it perfectly. I'm a columnist of an English newspaper and need to take notes regularly. Could you please help? Thank you.

Surprising the app has improved. it still has my documents in it at the time i installed it. Its a wonderful writing app. Newbie! biz biz give it a try

After using it for a short while,I was no longer able to save my notes-it cost me a lot of time and I have now uninstalled it.There are other problems in using it.Not a good app to use.

5/5, but I would also like if there was an option to put this app on a computer so I'm able to work on my files in multiple places.

This the app EVERYONE NEEDS.EASY TO USE!! THATS ALL WE NEED

This is exactly what I needed. I can just type and don't have to worry about clicking save or any such buttons.

It automatically deletes your writings without warning. Beware

👌🏾

I LOVE This App, to me, partially disabled, it is a god send on my Samsung Tablets and Samsung Galaxy Smartphone. I'm do IT from home, and this "mini Word" like app is impressive. easy to use, self saves your work as you work, spell check, word suggestions, etc, just like a little Word alternative for working fast. The ONLY 'con' I've run across is that when my Tablet(s) running WriterPlus go into sleep mode for more than a few minutes (5+ minutes) the Cursor disappears and doesn't come back.

Am editing my 5-star review to 2, bec I recently had to buy a new phone and when I tried to re-download the app onto this new phone, Playstore says it's not compatible with my device? I used this app for everything-- notes, ideas, plans, drafts, and fiction writing. No idea why it's not compatible with a newer device, am severely disappointed. By all means this is a 5-star app.

love this AP...♥️

very useful

Very easy to use, suitable for my need

Almost Good.. satisfied

Had to change my rating due to the inability to back up your files. It's too serious of an issue to look past. God forbid you lose or break your phone because all you wrote will be lost forever. How difficult is it to have an option to sync your files or at least have a login to store your stuff? If that ever gets implemented then I'll give the app 5 stars.

When you're tired of Google Keyboard injecting words inside of what you're trying to type, creating strings of gibberish or suddenly putting strange Gajuti characters into your work, this keyboard is lighter, simpler, faster.

Simple and smooth, best for writing draft's.

I really like this app! Great start on your book!

Its easy to use. Though i hope you put a sign in using gmail account for optional.. My phone broke and it can't be fix the novel i wrote was in this app using that phone. I can't recover that because there's no back up.. I love this app for being simple.. But i hope i can access my writings using my gmail.. Please .. I still love using this app

well done..if tabling can be done, then it would be great.

Might be the best Lightweight Writer app ever.

I like how quick the app is to get into and use. There's not a bunch of clutter. It's very helpful in doing research as well because it will read to me automatically if i set it up to do that. I used to have to copy stuff and put it into a document then have an app read that, but this just DOES it. ETA: I think you can use HTML code to change the fonts, etc., but I wish that was part of the app., and I'm not sure how much you can do. Of course, it would likely make bigger footprint.

Very good writing app. Unfortunately, it's no longer compatible with my new device: Redmi Pad SE 8.7. But I'll keep on managing it.

This APP is awesome. Smooth. No interference and interruption. It allows you to just write. Thank you, WRITE+

good

No need to save... Just hop in-and-out as needed. Add to long term journals with ease.

Nice writing app. I use it a lot for keeping notes

How to send multiple files at once? I had to quickly reset my phone to factory settings and there's no option to select all files at once to share to my email. :( Request settings for the text to be black instead of dark gray it's getting harder for me to read as I get older.
