I started with ChatGPT, then Gemini which was much better, and now Mistral AI is an improvement over that. Knowledge and Skills are great, lots of easy context between chat sessions. Rather have my data in the EU too. Merci beaucoup.

The web version looks beautiful, and Think mode is way faster than I expected. The mobile app, though, still needs work. Voice mode looks good, but actually using it is frustrating: recognition cuts out at random, the answers feel watered down, and there’s no way to switch models. I also wish multimodal support were built into the main chat model instead of being handled by a separate one. It’s still good value for money, but the mobile UX and voice mode really need some attention.

Please do something with the app, the app feels slow, when I deep research a topic, the screen gets stuck and when it loads, it takes minutes to load the same answer, the AI is wonderful, the responses are great as far my work is concerned which is studying but my god the app stucks so much that it makes working difficult, fix this please.And its been a while there is no fix, I thought may with the next updates you will fix but found no change and made me compelled to write to you people.

Great as AI secretary. I use Vibe as a busy parent to keep on top of calendar events, email sweeps etc via the scheduler. it's fast and thorough -- far, far better experience than Gemini, whose flash models/harness were both slow and struggled to pull the right info.

Now its a really competent and useful LLM, I tried using it last year and it was hallucinating too much, now I think it is at the same level as the other ones, and arguably better than Gemini

Brilliant solid work. I've integrated them into all I do. one gripe though. before chat and work and code were redesigned and chat and work combined. we lost the agent building tool. that was so genius and helpful and fun. I miss it dearly. please bring it back!!!

Initial impression is that it works better than other santised safe AIs but still it still has some guardrails. I encountered some resistance around using clinical terms for people I know, which helps for validation. I am not a layperson in these fields yet still it treats me like one. Like other ai also it tends to throw false positives about user behaviour too likely from training data. Can be improved but initial impression is ok!

So far it's really good and there's a reasonable amount of play with getting to use the model.They've really improved since I first tried to play around with their API. If you get a good instance, this AI can be fairly brilliant compared to the enshitification garbage of 2026. We lost access to DeepSeek R1. Most of the US models got considerably more liability taxed, and thus completely hallucination ridden from the friction. As I write, Qwen just got gutted, so this is the last good option

Satisfied Europhile: I was looking for EU tech. It is the name Le Chat that drew me. I dont like the name change to Vibe, it feels American. The price is too high for a private family. No family account plans. Imagine having to pay multiples of £15 per month for adults and children in the house. So I stay on free tier and keep using it because good EU tech must be built. The experience is good. It stands shoulder to shoulder with any of the main AI engines. Wish I could afford the paid levels.

you know what? it's actually pretty good. it's fast, and has good info, remember well and makes sense of the mess I throw at it. it is clearly much much more competent than just an "also ran" they should have kept the name "le chat" though.

Great AI tool. What I like most about it compared to other AI tools is that it is very straight talking, and doesn't have as long winded unnecessary intro compared to other AI's. The safety features are a bit tight alright... say for instance you want advice on how to dodge a fine (just a random example) it will not give much. So you will need to use another AI to deep dive things that aren't strictly above board.

Heavy Woke Bias and Broken Logic This Ai model is heavily "woke" and has serious problems with facts. It often gives wrong information and ignores real facts. Even when I gave it true facts, which it admitted were correct, it still refused to use them in its answer. Instead, it only picked facts that matched its own woke opinion. It refuses to change its mind even after you correct it. This model is not reliable if you want neutral, honest, and accurate answers.

When tapping the widget, the chat should open with the keyboard showing already, even if the app was closed. Now this only happens if the app was already in the background.

While the application is user-friendly, the limitation on the number of questions can be a drawback; although it is a well-designed tool, it feels somewhat like a teaser intended to encourage a subscription.

This is the only App that I can trust in writing novels because it's unlike other app this one don't censored much, I mean it has less filters but now it seems it following the American brand standards.. you can no longer add terms or themes now that were allowed in the past.. very sad..

Why is this one so good? It's still very fast, offers near-infinite free credits in the free version, and has affordable pricing too. This is the best AI, in my opinion, after Claude and Kimi, considering all token, cost, and speed complexities nowadays.

The application is causing problems and lag on my Samsung A56 device. It might be because it's processing information from the cloud, but I keep getting a "failed" error. It stops working on its own after a certain time.

Works really well. Good to know our data is in safe hands as well! 🇪🇺 Only two things I would suggest, is to have the option to speak continuously to the agent and to have video option where you can show it something in real time. The other would be to add the option to have Le Chat as our digital assistant as the other default option is known to steal data.

Can't even use it! It says "an account is now required to use vibe" but everytime I sign up, 3 seconds later it tells me "session expired" and that I need to login again! I've done it about 7 times already and it keeps going "session expired"

Committed to Vibe instead of the US AI companies and I love it! With every update it gets better and I hope they stay in the race and develop better models. The UX of the app is first class and it's a joy to use!

Mistral with work mode + thinking really helps me with high quality outputs on health, nutrition and technology related topics. It tends to be concise and more direct than other similar agents and the quality is comparable on non-coding tasks. I would really like to see more visual widgets added to the responses. There has been some progress here lately, but it is not as polished as Claude or ChatGPT in this regard. Keep up the good work, Mistral team!

I use it as alternative to us models and it works very well. Now using as well as agent in intellij. if you believe in strong Independent future of Europe this is viable alternative.

It should only be 4-5 MB.And its picture quality is also not good.There is no deep research capability in it, there is no solution for deep research, it does not have the capability of video creation, it does not have the capability of creating audio video.

Vibe Code on Android isn't only very difficult to use for a software engineer (while commuting, for pet projects), it's also very destructive, it push --force by default, execute multiple times command, conversation get stuck, loops... The rest of the app is very good and meets my need!

I had high hopes, but it could not generate a dos based USB formatter successfully in over 3 days of trials. it was a fun experiment, but I wrote it in a hour, but kept continuing to see if it could do it and maybe better, but no. it cannot keep its own code straight from prompt to prompt. I spend most of the time correcting version control. hallucinates constantly and then apologizes for it, and doesn't correct it.

let's be honest - what Le Chat offers is not the same as the US chat models. BUT, good enough to write simple macro or quick search of info. This AI is good NGL. But it takes too much time to answer and when you reach certain level it asks you to upgrade and the cost is so much. it's good because I compared it with Open Ai Chatgpt vs THIS. sometimes open Ai version gives you kinda answer that isn't the one you are looking for but Le chat helps you with that. Another thing when you are working here and you as something and it takes much time then you need to go out from the app, close all the tabs and enter again to get answer.

I absolutely love this assistant, no issues, great support on Discord. a committed team that actually cares about its customer base. and it's cheaper than any of the mainstream ai.

It was excellent as Le Chat, but the upgrade to Vibe destroyed the model's ability to have a decent conversation. It's more capable, but? It makes up data, hallucinates terribly, becomes sycopantic when you point it out, often misses your point entirely, and defaults to brevity without ever truly engaging with your prompt. It's obvious this happened during training. It appears to have been rewarded for being vague and useless. Thankfully Mistral made it really easy to cancel a Pro subscription.

looks like the keyboard is not "synchronized" enough. when starting to write something, the first sentence is partially shown and after around. 15 words written, you just see the whole paragraph. weird and annoying. tks!

First please add branching of chats, Second please optimize the app for when it is thinking or doing stuff, I noticed the app lags to like 5fps and scrolling will be hell... and I don't think you optimized the app for really long conversations cuz the app went black screen on me when I clicked "scroll to bottom" arrow... plus When I send a message sometimes, the message just completely dissapears like I never sent it 🤔... and lastly The free limit is a bit smaller than the API :(

I love Le Chat (or "Vibe", if you must). It can be a little slower than other LLMs but generates great responses across most areas and the in-depth mode is impressive and very useful for research.

Unfortunate since I prepaid a year's subscription up front, but the mistral models aren't really up to par with others. I regularly use Gemini which is faster and more accurate than this for general chat, search, questions, etc. I also use Claude code at work, which I was going to replicate for personal projects, but the mistral code models and orchestrator are far far far behind Claude code. The price was significantly lower than Claude which is why I gave it a shot.

so I have test questions that I ask AI to see how biased they are and usually they're debated religious questions. and vibe gave me the most unbiased scholarly answers to my test questions. when my grock monthly subs runs out I'm going to pay for this one and try their paid version for a month. cuz I've been through a lot of eyes and this one has been the least biased and I love that and it doesn't front load a bunch of useless stuff that I have to then take all my time scrolling through!

I have an affinity for the French because of the books I read though. the app however is not compatible in Dex mode on a Samsung phone and I use my phone docked at a desk more than I do handed.

This AI is awesome! I love the logo, polished UI and very smart with very useful integrations. the only details I did not like were: 1. I can't scroll in the chat while it's working. 2. There's a lot of empty space at the bottom of the chat below the last message 3. Sometimes the app closes my keyboard for no reason. 4. When writing a message, it's hard to scroll through what I've written on it before sending it. 5. When my message (writing it) is too long, it covers the chat!

General questions, research, and searches mostly.. my only complaint is that it guesses a lot and I have to push it further to get actual answers... wow did I hit the limit quickly. The current version of the app feels slow compared to other providers. The first word of a response loads then the rest is blasted onto the screen all at once.

I really love this AI—it's one of the best I've used. However, I have two issues. First, responses are often slow, even for simple questions while using Fast mode. i think the app has been crashing out and responding slow, the app has been going out and closing without me doing anything and when i opened it, it doesn't load to the chat right away like it used to be before the recent updates, it's even longer and i have to close and open it several times before it finally worked? even though my wifi is great... but other than that the app is quite worth it, it helps me understand and explain in a simple way

I love this app, it's so easy to use and customizable. I love how I can build skills and agents, and it will automatically pick which agents or skills to use for which prompt. My only complaint is the speed. It's much slower than it used to be and I'm hoping that Mistral will be able to address this soon as well as introduce a more capable model that can compete with other frontiers. What Mistral offers others don't is the ability to completely use my own resources to run this offline.

I originally thought very positively about this app until I upgraded to Pro and started having longer conversations. If you just want a simple answering machine, it's good at doing that without all the unnecessary filler other AI's give. But just as any other AI it will become snappy and defensive when challenged, will call you confused for its inaccuracy, and will confidently lie. Not hallucinate, confidently lie.

So far this is the better version of Chatgpt. It can write me personalized fanfiction without such a sensitive filter for violence. The canvases usually won't open, but it's fixed if you just go into Chat Mode instead. I wish it would tell you how long you had to wait when you hit your message limit. Other than that, my only issue is that the text-to-speech won't work. I want it to read to me, but the button literally won't press. (I'm on android). Also, why does it change voices every minute???

hey Everything about Vibe is outstanding—I love that it speaks the truth, has no propaganda, and is family-friendly and safe. However, there should be more options, like a mode to navigate long chats easily (e.g., jumping to the top, bottom, or middle). Currently, scrolling through long chats, especially for studying, is frustrating. Additionally, it would be helpful to have the option to export chats as PDFs or long images for note-taking.

gave 3 prompts asking for images of a workout exercise technique. 3 times it replied with only text and then shut down stating that the days credits had expired. it upgrade is substantially more expensive than a subscription to chat gpt 18 euro v 8 euro approx. I think subscription should be better priced if Vibe is going to compete viably.

I am experiencing an extremely unpleasant issue with the pro subscription. it was directly charged via Google play but still showing as a free version, no upgrade, upgrade option in app turned into manage subscription but no pro version, so basically it's a steal. tried to logout, clean cache, reinstall, nothing worked. unable to message help centre, no message option NO direct contact available. awful!!!!!

I'd love to give it a higher rating but there are several issues. It doesn't seem to be very accurate or have up to date information, the new rebranded name isn't a good choice given the bad rep around vibe coding, and the free tier hits the message limit too quickly, too easily. Would pivot back to Gemini.

I use a couple of products as my go-to LLMs, but I really like Mistral/Vibe as a "second opinion." It's easy to instruct it to be careful in its searches; its conversational tone is friendly but not unctuous; it is relatively more honest about what it doesn't know (more than the others except probably Claude)... but perhaps its killer feature is top-notch voice recognition that in my view is unmatched by the competition.

The best LLM that's available for free! I use this for everything comfortably, considering it's GDPR compliant. However, I've been facing a consistent issue where it simply won't connect to the internet for a day before fixing itself - this seems to happen somewhat frequently. In addition, the web app seems to be flagged by multiple antivirus software, making it inaccessible.

now I can't use the app. keep gives me a lie of an error that the session expired and to log in again. I cleared the cache,same error. cleared the storage same error. logged into a new account same error. deleted the app and re downloaded it. guess what? same error. I love this app and now I can't use it. I can't contact support because I can't log in. the problem lies with me needing to log in. I can ask for help about my problem about not being able to log in, without logging in...

Simple, elegant, fast, for private and daily work i could not ask more. Saves me a lot of time when researching and deciding my next project. Easier to organize and plan whatever i need to realize and meet personal goals. Handy. Models are great. API and Vibe cli also do the job. Using vibe cli helped me build custom integrations in my home lab and work production env. No need to spend more on Claude or Codex for my use cases. Keep up the good work Mistral Team. Thanks for a great Assistant.

The models could've been better and there are obviously better tools on the market, but overall performance improves gradually, it has some unique features and the Work mode in its current state is quite nice for collecting current information from various internet sources. I also wish it had an easier onboarding for non-corporate customers.

Just started to use it. Tested it's logical and critical thinking using a philosophical question and asking it to attack one view and then counter it's own argument, that I've tested on other models and the response was very well structured and thorough. I like it and will be running more tests on it.

Love the app, gives helpful responses. Only drawback is ui freeze when generating long texts or codes in my case. Edit: the new update improved things a bit, but it could use more improvements to completely overcome the UI freeze thing.

On my PC I cannot find the memory personalization/ special instructions to make the interactions unique to me. - the playback ▶️ for each Chat worked the whole way without artifacts!

I've only just started using Le Chat. I'm confident that I can make the switch from ChatGPT without any major issues. I'm sure that as time goes by Le Chat will get better and I'm absolutely thrilled that it's a European AI, and that my conversations fall into EU confidentiality and EU data laws. Plus as of right now Le Chat is cheaper than ChatGPT.

Regret paid for subs! Really, this AI cannot even search an updated information, when I asked to analyze simple task, it gave answer, and I wrote...do reanalyze, recheck & it came up with different answer. I asked reanalyze 4 times & it gave me 4 different answer. What are you?? A chat bot scam??? It cannot even read a screen shot properly, it missed the date that wriiten there... and when I complained, it answered: sorry. OMG, Who are the people behind this very stupid AI?

This app is complete garbage and totally useless on a phone. It keeps freezing, and reinstalling doesn’t help. What’s worse, this issue only happens with Mistral—other apps run smoothly without any problems. At this point, it looks like Mistral is on its way out of the market, since they haven’t made any real progress or improvements to their products for a long time.

choose an AI model that that respects your privacy and that isn't us-based. Mistral makes some of the best models out there in the AI Wild West, well worth investing your time and I emphasise, money in a sub... As a side note after reading a lot of the reviews it would really serve Mistral Well as a company to not keep referring people to the website or web interface if you prefer, but to offer at least an occasional substantive answer within the structure of the Google Play store.

I wish I could stick with Mistral for their ethics and geography. The recent bugs in the app are resolved but the AI itself is significantly less advanced than others and makes mistakes too frequently, particularly in basic logical consistency. To its credit, it admits its mistakes, which is refreshing.

This LLM doesn't seem to have the same biases the American ones, like Gemini, have. Problem is, the UI is messed up on my S23. The send button doesn't appear when I type into the chat box. Please fix this.

Great, but with surprisingly basic problems: the text of the prompt starts behind the + sign, the cursor is invisible in dark mode, the up arrow button tends to disappear and be replaced by the mic button.

The app didn't properly support switching to Gboard's Japanese input method. But after I posted a review mentioning the issue, that was fixed pretty soon. I don't know they specifically looked at the issue I mentioned, but the issue was really going away and it certainly makes me feel like Mistral is trustworthy. Not the app related but Mistral models are pretty good and very nicely priced.

I am using this app with a tablet. When in full screen the keyboard covers the input field so that you can't see what you are writing. I am not sure why the developers still haven't fixed such a basic bug?

What happened to the old ui? I was able to toggle thinking and research mode as soon as the keyboard appeared. Now, I have to go to a separate menu to enable these options, and oftentimes the mobile keyboard blocks it so I have to manually close it and then access the menu from the "+" sign again, which is frustrating and not intuitive at all. What's up with companies making random design changes for the sake of changing things and not thinking about their existing UI flow???

Le Chat is a gem. After the ridiculous ordeal with Chatgpt I searched for an AI that I could use as a junior writing assistant. I found it with Le Chat. I can do deep research on trending tropes, have it organize my notes into Notion for me, generate mockups of book covers for social media and it's been a fun writing partner I can bounce my ideas off off without any judgement. Within an hour, I signed up for the annual plan. I can't recommend it enough!

While the app is good, aesthetically and functionally, it misses several features of the web app. There's no obvious way to make new libraries, or edit agents on your phone. It'd be really helpful if I could upload all the different spreadsheets I have on my phone to a library as I get them for work travel, for example.

Also chat history gets very cumbersome after a while because it loads chronologically instead of showing my most recent thread in a chat first.

Unfortunately I couldn't use it for almost anything. Had it for 4 months. Tried to talk to it, but sometimes it just couldn't understands the questions, other times gives false informations etc. I must keep using ChatGTP, although I don't like that, but at least it's useful. I hope they will improve it, I would much rather use this than the full scale American one.
