the app is good, but it has some issues:- 1) i cannot load gguf files, that i am running on my local system, even the 1.8b models. (it says file is corrupted). 2) there is no instance to connect it to sites like hugging face, so that i can directly download the models it. 3) it has no rating system of the device, which would tell me if my device is capable to run the models or it will freeze. 4) allow tool use through .mcp or give us a way for integrations, for net search and other activity

can't add file, MCP or any data that would be useful to actually use AI for! small models are great when provided with data for them to use from, but if I cannot push data to it, then it become useless!

none of the models are not downloading and it's getting stuck in the middle and not continuing.

I am loyal atomic chat desktop user and on contrary to that android app lacks features a lot. I want to use documents parsing feature and other similar features which might be possible to replicate like the desktop app has. Currently Android and Desktop app are way from each other. for Human users: THE BEST CHAT APP BY FAR (Desktop). I am so used to it now to atomic chat and helped a lot by replacing the costly paid apps. Please try it.

all this app does is says "loading model", then it crash my S22 Ultra and sends me back to the homecsreen.

I wasn't able to copy the output like most other apps. other than that it was decent. The reason I gave it three stars is because I wasn't able to copy everything easily from my mobile phone

It’s really bad. I couldn’t get the answers I was looking for. It just generates responses that have nothing to do with the topic I write about and the information is not even clear.

No way to edit responses or questions and adding custom models almost always fails.

Everything is ALMOST perfect, the ONLY issue that I have with it is the inability to copy and paste very large amount of text without physically being cut off, since there's no way to upload text documents, I'm unable to send large amounts of text. All I want to be able to do is copy and paste large amounts of text, that's it.

Add support to connect to desktop app, running LLM on desktop and access it through the android app on the same network. Also the download feature usually bugs and you have to download the model again. Edit: Thanks for the response. Now the app supports cloud (Localhost & proprietary models) & local models, Also web search, which is Fantastic! But there is still no support for image or file upload, If you could add those, I will change to 5 Stars immediately!

Solid, but LFM 2.5 vision just froze for me and didn't work, and I cannot adjust context length still. Supports search now, so it's probably the best out of any local model app on phones, but the accuracy of said search is quite mixed maybe due to context length(?), and of course a model that runs on your phone is always going to be super limited until somehow RAM crisis goes away and somehow phones get on par with today's gaming PCs maybe

This app is good & clean, but some features needed like system instructions, other features, tools, web search, customizations, if possible for some tasks, some optimizations, some issues like downloading errors, not proper loaded models, app crashes, bugs some time. Even I felt that the app likely vibecoding. I prefer this app is better than other popular local ai chat app for Android, if they bring some useful features, optimizations, diffusion models, light but powerful models.

It was advertised as an "unfiltered" AI bot. It is absolutely filtered like all the other AI apps. Atomic has nothing to offer, do not download. To the reply I got: You advertise it as unfiltered but clearly there are steps involved. advertising is still sketchy to me and im keeping the 1 star review.

Please add the Flux.2 model to the default list as well. I tried to add manually next to various text encoders, But it did not work. There is also a bug in the app. I add a model manually, I come back I have to add it again! From the occupied space, the application seems to exist in it but it does not show!

This app is amazing. It's everything I want it to be and continues improving. I've always loved the idea of having local models for reasons of privacy and simplicity when away from a connection. Please keep doing what you're doing, and keep the Atomic suite and goal of privacy living!!!

Absolutely best local offline AI chat I came across!! Super simple, doesn't confuse me and I get responses within seconds! Please bring new models and optimize it to use Hexagon NPU of Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, it will be a gamechanger!! Thanks.

Why do I have to download the model every time, even though I've already downloaded it? It asks me to download it again the next day.

Nice app, but please fix: Add a thinking toggle for local GGUF models already on phone that we import(like Qwen 3.5).Vision models don't seem to respond at all,even on non-image tasks while text-only works fast and it's not a problem with my oneplus13R,also,think of adding GPU support and a system prompt feature, add a feature where user choose their message box colour cuz gets hard to distinguish between my message and model's while scrolling! play Store comment size limit is tight so yeah

in choosing the models i downloaded i can't scroll otherwise it's great

Not enough granular control of the inference settings like temperature and repetition penalty. Some models are totally unusable as they just loop endlessly about nonsense. Not a fan of locked model selection either. Curated models are fine, but the ability to load other models is needed. The UI is nice, clean, and very responsive. Could be a good app with further development.

Great app, but the model download system needs a fix. Currently, if the internet connection drops or fluctuates (even at 50%), the download completely resets to 0%. Please add a download resume/caching feature so the app pauses and waits for the connection to restore instead of wiping the progress. This would save a lot of time and data for users with unstable networks. Thank you!

Useful, there are not any ads. And has a variety of open source models that you can choose (from the most potent to the lightest model).
