Scam software. Blatantly impersonating system pop-ups on YouTube with false claims that you need to update your "pdf version" immediately or forever lose the ability to read pdf files, which is just not how things work.

It popped up looking like a system update and said my pdf reader was out of date. This is not accurate and feels scam-y. I double checked my actual Adobe one, and it was fine. leaving this review before I uninstall.
