too much ads

I rarely review apps or anything I generally. however these recent updates have really made me dislike the app. Even after shoving adds down my throat every scroll they still force you to watch ads you can't skip after you press on a post. Even market place doesn't to that...and its Facebook! The cherry on top is how bad the performance is while having to load all the adds on every scroll.

What the hell i had quit using this cause offerup sucks. Letgo was great bring it back. Too many ads and nothing new posted. 👎 4/18/21 UPDATE 11/1/26. i gave this app atry again and was goibg well furst few days then i posted yoo many items in a row and thry said i had to get truyou which us giving them my ud and personal info. NO. not just yo sell stuff. niw they wont even ket me delete my account. DO NOT TRust this app

love it

offerup is cool I look for bikes on there but once I was scrolling and uhm I saw a cd with nudity and I disliked that. other then that I love offerup I haven't bought anything yet but I want too another thing that I see is people getting scammed it does happen but its only if your thinking oh what great deal on a 4000 dollar car thats free for parts also if offerup made a thing where they check the listing as in making sure its not fake that would be AMAZING just in case even if its ai or human!

complete and total waste of time

there is no history area of what you viewed recently at least not easily accessible. when you switch between offer up and let's say Google web and you take maybe a minute or two before clicking back into OfferUp the offer up app refreshes back to home screen meaning whatever you were looking at no longer is visible and potentially just lost forever since no history either. 2nd day or rather under 30 minutes of use in total cause it just keep refreshing so frustrating to use its not user friendly

Excellent app

very good

always find good deals

The interface is pretty straightforward and easy to navigate. Although I've received more spam messages than actual offers though. My wife posted the same items on another more popular platform and sold them within 12 hours.

is very convenient and you could find anything you need at great deals.

very difficult to use. never keeps my place after I look at an item. especially after checking carfax... it resets my search and I have to reenter the search parameters. this is frustrating and wastes my time. Facebook marketplace is way better with real users and less scammers. im expecting an automated response from a bot or someone who doesnt really care.

I have not had one person contact me concerning my posted items or the posts I want to buy from others. what is going on? does anybody use the app????

A lot of false item descriptions and people wanting things for free. Always have to think twice when buying sonething.

Can't block scammers. Ads are intrusive. It's like a cats butt always trying to shove it in your face. Look at the developer's bot response. They want me to email them about what problems I have experienced. Shows how automated and not serious they are about reviews. Not responding dosen't mean the human is good with it.

Good up

information

Great app

no good

eazy .

I truly appreciate OfferUp! This is the only app, that does not drain you of all your profit that you're supposed to make after paying for seller fees. Now there's a charge to promote it. Over and over again. You literally make nothing after all the fees. OfferUp doesn't do that. Just one simple charge a month. Thank you OfferUp

Offerup reminds me of the old app " letgo". So far Ive only gotten a bunch of scammers but Im still hopeful something of mine will sell. Listing is easy although the category offerup puts you in doesnt always match what you are listing with no wayy to change it Maybe thats something to change

the best app .

awesome app! LOVE IT💛

now mother f ebay in your face

It a great way of buying things around your area and beyond

THIS APP IS CURRENTLY GLITCHING AND OPENING EBAY ON MY PHONE EVERY 3 SECONDS!!!! Sellers often respond days, not minutes after being sent an offer.. They rarely chat unless you offer to buy first. Sometimes you can't buy; because the app doesn't function properly. (I missed my chance to buy 3 different laptops). There's also the scammers... I'm out.

perfext

exactly what I needed. Great price, friendly.

Great way to make a little extra money 💰

hreat way to buy or sell

very easy to deal with

is good

launches so many ads it's borderline unusable.

thank you for restoring my account

not always able to change distance! fix it!

excellent item good price and punctuality

is not working for me, I will make offers and send msgs and no response ever.... there is something wrong with my account.

When I want to add photos to a listing, the add photo button is missing. When I select photos, I don't see the add photo button because it's simply not there in the interface. It appears only after reopening app

This app is a waste of time. They can & will delete your account without any prior notice. For any reason. My account was deactivated permanently for zero reason. I haven't broken the TOS, the last item a posted was a watch. Facebook Marketplace, Vinted, and all the other similar options are objectively better.

good....

Decent idk if its me or what but sometimes messages seem delayed but other than that good app to fimd stuff

The mattress was Extremely Hard I could not sleep at all that night and felt nothing but springs tried to upgrade refused and did not try to negotiate after that I did not get any type of response back by messages or texts Very Very Very UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER grade 1-10 0

Does not get the traffic Facebook Marketplace does as a seller and constantly badgers you to get their premium. Full of annoying ads, UI is difficult to navigate as a seller.

Offerup app on Android uses sooo much data. I use the app occasionally and it typically uses multiple GB of data per month. The developers need to figure out a better way to compress and reduce. Stop preloading full resolution for every post since most I don't care about. I'm going to stop using this app due to its data inefficiency

We love having a Appt like Offer up because We get responds about selling n buying pretty fast! Hope it doesn't change.

my items are getting zero views lately and I'm not sure why?? I used to sell items regularly with no problems. when I search for the title of my listed item, it's not shown. ???

Don't sign up with any of their subscriptions. They are nothing more than ways to rip you off. This App lacks integrity. OfferUp is greed focused and doesnt mind using lies to lure unknowing patrons in. They take advantage of all those trusting to use their app in good faith. plus they don't care whether you sell your posted item(s). They only bar about how much money they can make is your before you realize what they are really doing and that is lying, misleading & over upselling.

very very good 👍

way too many adds

cool

really starting to suck, to many adds, no much data tracking and steering

great 👍🏾 app

great app.

full of bots asking for your number or broke foos

Be aware when using OfferUp. This is the God's honest truth My very 1st time ever using OfferUp they allowed a Phishing Virus to instruct me to click a link.. Something of this nature should have been flagged by their AI and it wasn't. This is a devastating blow to me that couldve easily been stopped. Instead, OfferUp kept me on hold for 20 minutes until i had to hang up to get ready for work, after i alerted them, and by that time the damage was done.

stupid adds pops up

offer up needs to delete old listings. many have been on there for years. it's ridiculous. they need to time out after a month and have the seller relist if not sold. or just send the seller a notification. l get notifications all day long on new listings. this should not be a problem. Also if I wanted to see vehicles on eBay, I'd go to eBay.

great I bought a few items before

Great site very well run

offer up isn't anything like it once was. I don't know what it is but I've been a member for some yrs now. I remember back a couple years ago that people responded to you quickly. and they were serious about it as well. now I feel like you can post things at a great price, and even at absurd prices and still no one msgs you. I could understand if it was a member who had horrible reviews or was just new and didn't have the verification to prove it. I on the other hand have all these things.

💪 works

They Canceled my account. Then, when I asked why they told me, they didn't need to tell me why. sure, I know. It's a private platform, but to delete someone's account without even telling them why is like finding them guilty without even telling them what they're guilty of. bad protocol, bad business won't recommend this app to anyone.

No views on items you post!More Ad's than items for sale!Paid Promotion Ad's are worthless besides taking your $!Nothing but SCAMMERS and listings that are years old!

Easy to use.

this website is no good...people that put items for sale...when you submit a question these people do not respond...Either they dn not take the listing down or its affiliates scam...

The best online garage sale ever

easy to post items and to communicate with interested parties.

you only sell if you upgrade

Great place to buy and sell.

Everything is ALWAYS sold

Ai deleted my account I had over 5 years and 100's of 5 star ratings. said I was selling drug making equipment, when I sold a vitamin capsule kit. I emailed customer support and they ignored me.

u keep getting notifications to check my messages and nobody messaged me.

Was working so great until I tried selling a car here. They disabled my inbox, I wasn't receiving any messages. If I message someone, it shows that they received and read it but was not receiving responses. I deleted my account and opened a new one, yet it's still happening. If I reach out to someone about a listed item, though they see the message I'd never get a reply and offer up would send me a message weeks or months later telling me the item was just sold when I tried buying it way before.

Awesome.

the new update is incompatible with my phone and it's hard to even find stuff on here anymore I typed in off road vehicles and nothing but tires from nearby shops pop that sucks it just shows where businesses are selling now no longer what before selling and they say they will work with you lies they don't

great app looking for a car

good people

I would like to sell camping and hunting knives on here i dont see them as more of a threat than pistol grip kitchen knives so that's why I give it a 4 star rating because overall it is a good platform for quick listing with local sales )!!

just useless

too confusing takes to long

finding good things for less expensive prices and working with one another and not to put perfectly good stuff into the dump. thank you for sharing your treasures

very helpful app

offers is not what it used to be , now if you post something you hardly sale it. not happy with it.

ok , ill give it another try , and sorry forvthe cussing , i just despise gettingthe run around!

its ok. unfortunately listings are not being updated by the poster.

i enjoy this app. thank you.

Decided to give this another shot. Sellers dont respond, which makes me think its just a bunch of fake accounts and ads. Uninstalled for good.

app is dead. No ONE messages you back. I've sent interested messages to roughly 30 listings, and not one person has replied. I checked around and it looks like it's a reoccurring theme on this platform. my guess is they do not know how to handle messages? there are so many other selling platforms. use them.

use love to buy and sell but their add system suuuucks! went to facebook marketplace again!

love it!

nobody replies

sometimes you can find the strange things you may need or want. make an offer and done pretty much. I've never had an issue with anyone I've dealt with

Great app if your looking to find anything used or Free items. I almost always find what I'm looking for here.

Sometimes the options don't work well.

very few buyers

saved thousands of money

misleading notifications, way too make ads, paid promotion for listings

I get responses from sellers but it doesnt show up on my inbox. I got a notification that a seller responded to my inquiry but when you open the app, it doesnt show the message.

Annoying, scrambling to find an ignitor for our broken heater as the temperature is dropping and during our search to try and find one before nightfall I'm continuously hit with ads. Everywhere you go there's a damn ad waiting for you it's actually disgusting.

mostly good

Awesome that's all I can say! great business deals. if you are looking to get money back for your used items or want to sell new items at a great price sell at offer up.

I dislike scammers and lowballers

i but everything on here

Help to many people

THEE BEST!

Great App...I'll find what u want/need there

offerup deleted my posts and can't sale any of my items they just cancel my account for no reason my items were tangible and real shame on you offerup and still have the nerve to offer items from other sellers no warning, no way to appeal you guys are a joke, shame, shame on you

good app for selling

awesome app

I understand that ads are necessary these days but it is getting out of control. Every time I scroll, somehow, I am clicking on an ad and it opens in a browser. The old OfferUp experience has been ruined for buyers.

to many ads

No one responds, it freezes constant, you don't get messages. So many glitches.

I love using this app it works wonderful on meeting the right people to sell my items now I just have a I write everything out for me and it works great thank you

new version is slow and not as easy to navigate.

sellers that don't respond. AI for customer service.

Way too many ads that are overly sensitive to clicking, presumably so OfferUp can money grab ad revenue before they go out of business. App's missing some key features. The inability to save your preferred search parameters is infuriating. I only ever want to see local pickup items within 10 miles, but it defaults to 30 miles and local+shipping. No thanks. Listings never expiring is also wildly stupid. Half the time I contact someone the listing's years old, already sold, or never respond🤦

good place to sell

Not recommended. It's basically overpriced fb marketplace. Also too many ads, they blend too much with other listings.

love to use offer up. you can find anything you're looking for with affordable prices.

ehhh. not impressed.

good 💯

waiting

App is a lot better recently in terms of UI and usability, with one big downside: the main feed of items is now deleteriously "personalized." I have several search alerts set for specific items, which works great. However, now the main feed is nothing more than a redundant view of my search alerts. Discovery has been once again been killed by an echo chamber. I have to use the website and not be logged in just to browse for anything new and/or different.

the best

Works but yet another app with unwanted full screen ads, charging for services and vehicles posts, bots incorrectly deleting posts that it thinks falls into those categories, undeleteable "1 new message" notification, but it's just a banner trying to get you to pay for the premium membership. I understand it's a free app but damn

BEST APP EVER IN THE WORLD 💞😁

Blocks new accounts immediately. I tried to sign up but can't even get through to the end of the signup process before I get accused of having violated their community guidelines. How, if I didn't even get to sign up? Happened with 2 emails now. Don't waste your time, they clearly don't want users.

why not delete button, something so simple and necessary for such an app and yet nothing. I dont trust this app at all. Deleting it!!!!

CRASH CRASH CRASH CRASH BIGGEST BATTERY DRAIN in the App store. Also the biggest use of TRACKING. In 4 days my phone reported 220,075 TRACKING ATTEMPTS from the offer up app. This app ALWAYS RUNS in the background. If you have SECURITY concerns (and you should) even if you just don't want to drain your battery you should consider not putting this on your device. I didn't think it could get WORSE but they added full page FAKE ads with sound and WAYMO ads with NO EXIT. WORST APP in the play store.

update : not only do they take down your listing for no apparent reason now they are adding to how many items you have sold so far I've only sold two items but they have decided to put that I've sold four items I reached out for some help on fixing the problem and they want me to do a whole bunch of stuff turn off your phone log out log back in after doing all that I'm still having the same problem this platform used to be very good but now it's a piece of s***I'm very likely going to delete it

I'm ok with ads on the search results. Its a free app. But don't shove them in my face each time I post something. Then I have to wait for the dumb ad to end before I can continue with the app.

I've. found so much that I want and now I've posted my first object to sell. Enjoying my time browsing.

I've gotten no response on here

Best app for selling and buying for years, but this update it just destroyed the app, there's nothing but " unable to load due of network issues or... " and consuming lots of data, looks like they block you, I can just see the car dealerships adds, please fix this issue. not even started its freezing my screen, I uninstal it, and try again the next 6 months 2026 and still trashy app loaded with adds 🗑 🚮 not again.

I hate the update but also I have tried to pay which I think is too high of a price for sub promote plus to sell things on this app and it tells me to re-subscribe which I have never subscribed and I have received zero help that's ridiculous and I will be going elsewhere!

this app is ok, but the sellers and buyers are worse than Craigslist. same BS, DIFFERENT PLATFORM! some how sellers have excellent reviews, response ratings but haven't checked or responded to msgs in months. And if they by chance reply. This app would be better if you could flag items that are WAY OVER POSTED and not being responded to. OFFER UP stop with Generic email responses. Remove the item being complained about, instead of leaving items avail that sellers don't respond to for months!

With each update, app gets harder to manage or use. App needs fix I ng. sometimes in the middle or after messaging either seller or buyer and app starts to slow down and have to force quit app to work.

not great...Just doesn't show you what you're looking for!

I signed up. gave them photos of my license, took a picture. verified my email. sent a couple of inquiries, and they deactivated my account. their support staff instantly disconnect when you talk to them. This isn't a good start and will likely result in me never using their app for this.

STOP USING FULL SCREEN ADS.

Can't sell anything on here. I posted the same items on depop and got 1000's of views and likes in the first 24 hours. On this OfferUp app, I have had 48 views in 5 days. It's horrible.

offer up is the best app in the whole thank you people very much for creating the best thing for billions of people to use.

Facebook market place is much better

well, this is if a buyer could have morals when purchasing, not into game changers, and anticipation.

perfect and user friendly

This app is"Officially"garbage now! No responses ever. Don't even think they're real people I think they're all bots. Don't waste your time getting TruBlu verified because there is absolutely no benefit. sucks because it used to be good.

nothing good on here

Majority of the sellers don't respond. Listenings never expire, lots of zombie listings from years ago appear active.

I keep answering to ads with no hit backs.

The app does not notify me when someone writes about an item I posted for sale. I have lost sales because of this.

A.I is terrible and the BOTS are about the only thing on this App that contact you..... then that Sender's page/profile is Deleted..... very Suspicious as of Late Update.... I am officially Waste my time using this App.... I miss LetGo

this is not a good selling app I will never use it again I lost my post cuz they said i violated the post when I look the same ppl has the same product I was posting if I could I would give this app a 0

Best app in town. Easy to use fun to use!!!

alway solid

unable to filter out business owners selling their junk. when blocking businesses, you still see their junk listing. you'll use a large amount of data just scrolling. update: you hardly see any items being sold by individual people, it's all business owners selling their pawn shop items.

always have loved offer up great app very easy to use for someone not so tech savvy

great experience

awesome to buy or sell

Too many scammers, I just lost my money from how these scammers keep getting in this app, making it risky to even get an item, I don't think it'd even worth to stay in this program

very slow

use to be a great app, but now it just spams notifications. gets really annoying when it says you have three messages but they are "similar to what you have viewed" and two of them are the same.

awesome

Completely nonsense, I only came to use this site to buy a specific TV someone is selling to replace the same one that is dying on me. Then can't get the Truyou to correct take my ID and the seller is suspicious because my account is new and will to pay for shipping. Getting two Ls for something so simple is dumb. If he blocks me after everything it would of been for nothing. Basically a zero star review.

bought a ebike worth $1000 new, was only a year old, great buy

Sellers don't respond at all or take a few days

I think it's great that offerUp is giving people the opportunity to sell the things that they don't need, and make some money to help then out during these times of high prices on everything. Thanks offerUp.

too many pop ads and redirecting

unless you pay you have ZERO CHANCE of items getting SOLD.🥺

seems like you have to pay in order for your product to be seen. even if it let's you post.

the app is wack and useless. No one buys your listings. listing just sits there.

Pretty good. I don't have any serious complaints. You can use it for free as casual use, or you can use paid features if you really need to move stuff quickly.

great

ever since this got bought up and merged with Let go (who they disolved) its just nothing but ads and subscriptions. This app is gonna go away and die like Craigslist unfortunately

edited my review after signing back up..been working well so far

easy to use, had success with buying, now we will see if I can sell a item as easy

hardly anyone responds, they try to monitize their app and offering faster delivery and responses from your messages. so honestly I don't know if the people ever get the message. no way to notify the seller through email or any other way either. I now remember why I deleted this app

it is easy to navigate and contact seller

How do you mess up notifications?Only app I've had with this problem on a Galaxy A54. Seller reached out after a lengthy back and forth with a time and place, basically a done deal, no notification. I check the app 3 days later to find their message and the item sold. This app forces me to submit gov ID, half the feed is ads, and shoves a monthly subscription in my face if I close a menu. Friendlier to scammers than FB and more irritating to navigate UI, despite local sales being its one job.

I've been on offerup long enough to see its heights and deterioration in quality. it began with the first UI update which slowed the app down heavily, then continued once they started litering the app with ads. now recently it seems like when scrolling it seems to have lighter pressure on the ads so that you accidently click them more than a real post. on top of that sometimes the app will just refuse to send you notifications of messages. theres more but reached character limit. 2/5

Waste of time. Have not received any messages for items or replies when trying to buy.

would give 5 star if it weren't for some peoples postings of ridiculous items.. for example: no one wants someone elses dirty underwear. lol UPDATE!!!!! Now i give 3 stars actually more like 2 stars.. there's so many f-n stupid ads when scrolling fast if you happen to scroll on an ad it will force you to a different site now... OMG i absolutely hate that!!

I find great things, people are slow to respond, but great stuff

this is a scammer app it's not the real OfferUp aviod

easy to buy and easy to sell

OfferUp is awesome

smooth transaction, good communication, smooth sale and super helpful during pickup of heavy machine.

Terrible. Used to be a great app back in the day but now it's full of scams and bullsh*t. Developers don't even try to get them removed. SAD. I remember when it was full of real people selling real items. Skip this one, find another app.

horrible. sellers do not reply

amazing way to find great deals and local treasures

excellent

App is a smooth internet design, friendly, easy to navigate, and understand.. Trustworthy..

nothing I could find that I

Great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 100 STARS

Best buy and sell app

Love offer up!
