It is very hard to understand and use this calendar application. It looks cluttered. I payed for the lifetime version witch was cheap but I don't like it at all. I'm disappointed that I bought it and I won't properly use it. You need to make it more simple to understand and use. Please fix it and I will change my rating.

Definetly going in the right direction. All in one place, neat and clean design, very stable, but untill there are more reccurence options (or better yet custom) I have to give 3 stars. Cause there are some tasks I do twice a week or every 3 months. This oversight really limits this apps potential

This is app is great. I have no complaints but suggestions as for habit picking and changing the views of daily tasks. Maybe we can get a visual vertical timeline view that you can scroll up and down to see our daily tasks, habits and goals. (With a icon check button on the side) and can you add a lock-screen display with a task for habits/daily journal/goals.

Exceptional! I've tried LOTS of different apps, but this is different because it integrates so many different things well together like tasks, events, habits, goals & checklists in one USER FRIENDLY app. I agree w/ review that can't figure out why not more downloads & positive reviews. Even PRO averages $1.38 a month. This may be one of the best I've tried. For improvement, I'd like to see more flexibility in recurring like # of days, weeks, etc. Keep improving to be the best! Highly recommended

my previous review was removed. the dev told me to evaluate the apps functionality which i'm doing. what to me is a basic feature of a habit/task tracker would be recurring tasks. putting this behind a pretty steep paywall is insane to me. hence the 1 star review. Edit: they commented the exact same response they had on the last one. if you're answers to reviews are copy and paste lines, i wouldn't expect good customer support as well.

Octopus covers it all without being overwhelming. The interface is relaxing & well done. Covers each arm and then the suction cups of that arm to make perfection 🐙🦑 I just hope it continues and others hear word of it! People Please review! I fear to put all data in it because it's somehow not popular yet .. and I had an app in the past that wasnt known- leave after I put so much time putting my data in it. I'm happy to see it was updated this month! That made me trust and upgrade to pro 😌

Even if you pay an annual subscription you still have to pay for ai functionality.

Sadly had to change rating. Bought pro version back in 2023 because devs were updating often to fix bugs. They promised a widget in the next update,but that was a year ago. Seems like once enough ppl bought pro, app progress slowed. They made new budget app since, instead of working on this app & sign in credentials dont even carry over. Goals/Journal sections are pretty useless-Even checkbox feature could help them. Please don't abandon us. Lots of bugs, but still a great app w/ big potential.

Looking great first few days. Good functions locked behind paywall but functions well enough to get an understanding without it. Usability is good, some basic UI upgrades would help usability. One of the best all in one apps I've used. Price seems fair considering what others are charging for half the quality. Edit:5* after using paid version realising the free version is add free trial. And help desk welcoming to possible usability upgrades. Very complete app. Well done

I've tried a bunch of planning apps, and this one seemed kind of complicated at first. But once you just dive in (and adjust preferences!!) VERY intuitive and actually simple. Got pro and look forward to fleshing out goals & notes over time. Calendar syncing is an issue (not unique to 🐙) but I already have a calendar system so no problem for me, just a tad disappointing. I'd love to see widgets introduced in the future, plus more quality of life improvements and options in-app!!

The UI is awesome and app is comprehensive and covers everything from tasks, events, planner, journaling etc. All easily accessible and in a neat view. I did NOT give 5 stars because I miss adding the calendar or task view as a widget. The app does not support widgets yet. If you can please add widget functionality, that I could pin onto my android homesceeen, then it will give a constant view and help achieving goals better. Or much better would be the ability to add default view as widget.

This is by far the best goal tracker I've ever used and incorporating metrics such as KPIs from the project management field is genius. Also the UI design is extremely impressive. You can tell alot of thought went into designing this app.

Who designed this UI? 👏👏👏 This planning app is beautiful. That's where this review should start. Its interface is smooth and personal with options, including pallettes and unsplash, to make it your very own. I personally enjoy the left-hand side tabs with sectioned material for tasks, checklists, habits, etc. Another note is that notifications are optional per task 💙 and if a task is missed, you have the option to move it to "someday". Ps. Pls add widgets

Would be improved by 1) explaining the token system for AI results upfront (instead of finding out after you've used all your tokens what uses them and how many), and 2) the ability to see your past AI results since you've already paid for them (in case you accidentally exited the app or forgot to save them somehow). These two issues will keep me from using and purchasing this product, especially when other apps using this technology are available.

this is by far the EASIEST ALL IN ONE APP to understand. it's so damn super user friendly like the interface. it's so straightforward. there's not a hundred million steps to set that damn goal up. it's just there. the app is just super easy and intuitive and hey it is indeed an all in one! I think the only one thing missing is a mood tracker, challenges like detox, widgets, note taking improvements, more media, but really, this is it. my search for the life companion app ends here with this app

Perfect app for self development but it's limitations of basic function behind a paywall is a slap in your face, want notifications? Pay, habit that aligns with your goals? Cool, pay up, want to connect to calender? Pay. It's like a constant provoke from the developers in your face.Not only that you need to spend more money on tokens just ask bots a question, mistyped? Might as well make the app premium, since there is no point in using the free version of the app.

Good app so far. There is a free and paid version. I would give this 5 stars if: 1. I could mark tasks Complete without starting the timer. 2. If checklist "Item" could be removed after completing rather than than the entire Checklist having to be complete to remove it 3. Instead of archiving tasks, there was a "Compeleted Tasks" section instead that items are moved to after completion

So many issues with this app. PRO NOT WORTH IT. * The interface is not user friendly in the sense that if you have multiple tasks and checklists with subtasks/lists, there is no option to minimize the main task (so you don't see subtasks). As a result, you can't really see a bird's eye view of all your tasks, just whatever 1 or 2 that fits the screen. * Undone tasks don`t automatically get rescheduled for the next day. * No option for a quick add. So many questions just to create anything.

Okay, this app has everything I need actually! Big edit to my review: the only issue I really have Now is that if I've finished a goal; I missed 28 out of 28 marks, but it says I've got 125% success. I have no idea where that info was gotten but it wasn't my tracking lol.

I have tried now 3 time to get refund. I have waited until this 3rd attempt to rate. Part 2 After reply of 2 SHORT weeks for refund my thoughts are...I think you customer service leaves alot to be desired.Could you please check back to my first attempt to contact you? I did not hear back with this answer for 3 attempts to acquire $39 dallor refund. I am on disibility and did not purchase Octpus without much forethought of the expense. I do not know if it was within the 2 weeks or not.

seems like a very promising app. two things: 1. I can't seem to see monthly to dos/events at a glance, which would b helpful 2. adding the option try out the pro version before purchasing

Clean interface, easy to use, I love the colors. But I can't find the possibility to add a calendar or task widgets to my main screen which is a huge let down. Tried to do some in-app search but I'm not sure if the feature is available.

I really like this but the lack of widgets is its biggest downfall. It would be greatly improved with a widget showing both that day's event and tasks. It's still a great app though! There are not many planner/ task management apps that include goals and the ability to link tasks, habits and notes to them.

I bought this app, and I REALLY wanted to love it, but the calender syncing is horrible. It's confusing to do and doesn't show my all-day events. That's a deal breaker for me. The UI is very nice tho.

Hey nice app, but your payment method too bad. You can't get famous until you have customers, and for that you need to keep free. The payment subscription just shows its too huge on money that too without an web version. People won't be ready to pay even that much amount with web version, and life time access just shows it can be abonden any time. So better choose your subscription model wisely before you loose customers, don't kill the app, it has great potential, you need people trust

I'm not an idiot but I can't figure out how to do anything in this app. Can't add goals or tasks, nothing. No instructions. Edited and updated: found out how to turn on the add button. But I really think this app needs a user guide/FAQ.

This app is incredible, I gave achieved many of my goals and got referred it by a friend, absolutely amazing, been using it for a while and now its my top used. Congrats developers.

An excellent app and I really like the way it's organised and the functionality. To make it even more user-friendly and convenient, I'd suggest having tasks not linked to time and adding an option of moving tasks up and down so that users could priorotise them according to their liking. Some people, myself included, need to manually move tasks up and down to put them in the needed order. Anyway, thank you for the great app!

Awesome concept. Will have patience to see where this goes. Lack of widgets hurts. Not super easy to sync with other devices. That being said, it's a new app and I am sure the developers are working on widgets and improvements. A little tweaking and this app will own the market

I've been using this for a few weeks now and it's been a great resource in keeping me more organized with my day to day tasks and weekly planning

I want to like this, but right off the bat I see time is only showing AM, and duration has no way of accounting for fractions of hours, e.g. 1 hour 15 minutes. Why not have a start and end time like every other app? This doesnt work for me. Sad, because it seems to have potential. Some grammar issues/poor editing as well; I would certainly not pay for this at this stage.

Quick to fix the problem. Overall, it's worth the subscription. If they keep at it. This will be my new app

Good app idea, great design, great features. I was delighted with it and bought a premium subscription and started using it. But in the process of using it, I found so many bugs that in the next six months I will not use this application, because now it does not help, but only irritates. Wrote to support, updated to the latest version, uninstalled and reinstalled, nothing helped. Just messed up my information after reinstallation. I give 3 stars in advance for a good idea, but now it's unusable.

I can't add text to checklist items.

I wish I could move goals around as some of this month's goals are at the bottom of goals that I would like to accomplish in a year. The only way around is to delete goals and do them again in the desired order but if another long term goal comes up... We have to do this again. Also, I could see myself using the Notes features if they had voice recording. One last observation is that there are only female assistants. I don't mind but some people might find it offensive. Loving it!

Update: since my last bug report, they pushed 3+ updates and fixed all bugs that I was facing, so it's a 5 Star from me!! Kudos to the team. Now I really enjoying it even more! Great Experience. One thing we need now. We need wide range of widgets like ticktick app or even more than that. expecting it because tyey listening to users. Please bring some really nice widgets. I was using ticktick only to use those beautiful widgets. bring us some nice widgets & it will boost your sales 100x more!

Great planner. Still learning all it can do. Layout is very nice. Looked at several different planners and this one has all the features I was looking for where other apps failed to have. I decided to purchase the pro app and am very happy with this purchase. Support is also very good.

Octopus had my attention right away with its clean interface but using it made me find its usefulness perfect for my personality. I needed something to organize small tasks, daily routines and the like. The free version is more than ample but I bought the Pro version because apps need funding and great apps get my funding ;) Having a Web version is also handy. Very well done and thank you for helping to organize my life. Best $30 spent in quite some time!

Really nice but resizeable scrollable widgets on honescreen for checklists would be nice. No widgets currently exist I will update my review when they do

I have used octopus for about a month and can confirm that this app is absolutely incredible, it really helps me see the goals I have with clarity and for that has made me accomplish many of them, there is a few things I dont like such as: there is a bit of a learning curve when trying the app for the first time but once you get used to it, it's actually unique and extremely productive.

This is be far the best overall production app on Android. Its NEAR perfect but even with potential improvement which is nitpicky I would still rate this 5 stars. Nothing comes close

Honestly, this is the best app for managing/planning your life. I love the concepts of: Tasks, Events, Checklists, Goals, and Habits. Other apps tend to mix these in messy ways. The UI is amazing. Things that could be improved: + I wish the reminders had an option to work like an alarm and play a sound/take over screen. + The journaling is fine for quick thoughts, but there are better tools for the job. + I want the ability to add new items to checklists without "modifying" it.

The 100's of people/companies who've been sending me emails for many, many years never had a problem with it. I should be happy though, I was breaking my rule of creating an account BEFORE I can even see/try the app. What if it's not what I need? Then I made an account & gave you my info for nothing. Well, like I just did! Intentionally done?? What are you gaining by doing this?

Swiss Knife of Planners! I already had a to do list app, a goal app and was looking for a scheduling app when I stumbled across Octopus. It is an all-in-one. I love how I can schedule blocks of time and create other blocks to be scheduled. As with any app, there's things to improve on. But this app is keeping everything I need to organize and NOT over schedule myself in one neat package.

Love the app but needs a few updates. Doesn't actually update my username when I enter a new one and update. Also need a way to see tasks/events without clicking on the date itself. Other than that beautiful app so far

NOT PERFECT, BUT IT COULD BE! The app has nearly cracked the code. I converted from Apple to iPhone only to find my dedicated planner app, Moleskine Journey, was incompatible with up-to-date Android phones despite being advertised as such. I tried every app in the app store that included tasks, events, habits, and a journal; Octopus was by far the best of the bunch. Still, there are some minor oversights that dampen the experience, but the developers are responsive and open to suggestions!

Seems good so far but I can't seem to unsync from specific calendars I accidentally synced to... Even worse - the full web version doesn't work! I'll change my rating if things get fixed. but it looks very promising

This is an incredible app. I'm surprised it hasn't taken off yet, but I'm excited for where it's going. The developers have found a way to pack so many capabilities in a user-friendly simplicity. There is no value in having options if they take too many apps to get to, and this app has found a way to make so much available so easily. My one hope is that there will be widgets available soon. This would the ONLY app I need for habit forming, planning, to-do lists, etc. if only there were widgets.

How the heck is there no option to create a DAILY "recurring" task??? App is way too cluttered for my liking which I guess works out for some people. Having an extremely difficult time finding a simple easy to use checklist that I can look back on to observe progress in my fledgling efficiency.

Great app! I've been searching for the last couple of months to find a planner that actually looks as good as this one does and works well with my work-flow. I'm excited for the day there's a widget for my home screen (hint hint developers 😉). Seriously, though. Great tool that I use all day, every day.

I don't understand how to use discussions functionality. It's not possible to add participants, QR codes don't work. So, you can only discuss with yourself.

Very impressed with the ingenuity and seemingly well programmed app.

Update : After updating the app the features that wasn't there is now present make the app more enjoyable. Definitely recommend using to set up long term goals.

Looks interesting but pretty much all features are locked until you commit to a year subscription. I can't tell if it will be something useful to me or not. I'd gladly pay the subscription if I could tell a bit more or try out some more features.

Design and the whole concept is excellent, but the app does not work properly on my device. Minus 2 stars for the realization. I wish it could say me what I am doing wrong instead of closing abruptly.

This app is beautifully designed. Unfortunately it doesn't work for goal progression. Tasks can be linked to your goals but there is no way to see that they are linked when on the goal visualisations. When you complete a task linked to a goal, it doesn't show up on your progress report towards that goal. Linked habits do not show up on goal progress either. There is no way to find this out unless you pay. This has the potential to be a great goal setting app once more features are part of it.
