this is a beautiful game, I love helping my child, I actually felt the emotional pain of my suffering child and it hurt so bad I couldn't help but I loved her in every moment. my child grew and all she needed in the end was love and support and it's so sad this is based on a true situation. the poor child didn't do anything. and I learned so much. totally recommend!

Well, I just rated it today, but honestly, I played this in the past, that's why I haven't gotten a message to pay for the complete game, all I could say is that, this is a great game, it made me cry and mad about the characters, it teaches us the reality of a lot of people, and makes us understand their situation. I loved the child like she's really my dauther. It's worth it, but I'm also upset that, it needs to be paid now to play the complete story. That's all.

look the game is so perfect and one of the best games I've ever played...... I didn't get a single ad (advertisement) but the thing that made me rate it 4 stars is about purchasing the rest of the story .....I was so happy while playing and so focused but then it told me I needed to purchase about 30 Egp to complete......tbh I got rly sad and mad at the same time so I hope the game changes that feature and do another part. thanks alot for reading

The game is very beautiful and its plot is wonderful, but the problem is that the second part also costs money. Perhaps you could add some stories to the game that would make it even more amazing and beautiful.

In short great story game, buy it, it's worth it. On a less short note: the story made me feel things, good and bad, it actually made me care when bad things happened. The game itself is a resource management game in a way, time and money being the resources, repetitive but not too repetitive. The ending is not hopeless but not sunshine and rainbows and that's all I will say. It's fun, it's a couple hours long, go get it.

I love this game and ive always known that the great depression was harsh but I didn't know how hard till I played this game I grew attached to the child Klaus it is always hard to tell your kid that you can't afford somthing and that you have to work and spend a lot of time at work for more money but still have time to take care of him but this game is probably the best game I've ever played ever.

waw. I mean waw. it's SO worth it to pay that 3$ you get an additional like full day and a half of gameplay. I couldn't put it down, I've never gone through a story game that quickly. No game has ever made me cry so much (Meaning at the very end) I've never cared about a character that much before. I just wanted to save him and I ended up thinking about it like he was real. This game is not the full game,in the title it says "lite",making it different from the full game which is paid,you can still pay for the full game if want to. The pictures they show of the game is actually the paid part of the game,which might be misleading to some people.

this game hurt me in more ways than I thought it could. I played with the female character, and I don't know how much that changed things, but I sincerely suggest purchasing the full game after completing the first part. this game brought me far more than 2 dollars worth of emotions and playtime. I was thinking about getting the full version (only 2.99 on Google play) but I saw this and decided if I liked this I would eventually get the full version and the follow up game. worth the time and 💰.

I played the free version a while ago, and loved it. I've always been sceptical about buying games on mobile, even if they're cheap, so after completing the free version, I didn't buy the full version. when the new one came out and I saw it was free, I figured I'd have to play that, and it made me come back to this one, wanting to at least play the free part again, but then I decided to buy it. best choice I ever made. cheap and worth it, highly recommended before playing the sequel

This is a demo of the game, but you can purchase the full version straight from the game itself. It's not expensive and SO worth it. Your money goes towards a good cause and the game itself is engaging, keeps you hooked in towards the very end. The topics it portrays are very heavy and based on real life, so prepare to be moved if you're a sensitive person. I really recommend buying it, it's a must-play in my opinion.

Amazing game. Its especially heartbreaking towards the end. The description of the game does mention that you'll have to pay for it after a few days in the game, so its on you if you assumed it was free. A lot of the money goes to charity. 10/10 purchase. I finished the game in 2 days, and it does end abruptly, but i enjoyed it apart from that.

It was quite great, and it was also my favourite game. Until I got to the part where I had to purchase for the whole story, which I rather not do (plus I don't even think I have a cent). The game is great, you just can't play unless you pay for the whole story, so if you (the people) have money, you can purchase, if you don't, don't bother installing. Awesome game until now, I'm having a lot of fun, I just wish I could snap some necks. Those people are awful to Klaus... I like the artstyle and since it probably has multiple endings I'll be replaying it to get them. Really recommend you play the demo and if you like it, you should definitely pay for the full games, it's very cheap and it supports games like these!

I came across this game accidentally, but it's one of the best story games I've ever played. Very touching, and it has realistic dialogues. However if you don't like repetitive actions, this game might not be for you, but do give it a try! You will have to purchase the rest of the game midway, but if you're able, please purchase it. It's very affordable, and part of the money is donated for children born of war. Biggest applause to the developers.

It's a good game. I can't buy the full thing, sadly, since it costs a lot (It's like 11 bucks here). It lets you play for 7 in game days then it tells you you need to buy the full thing. It was really fun and heart wrenching to play this but I thought it was a free game, so maybe the Devs should have told in the beginning of the game. It's really cute though, seeing Klaus happy. Kinda want to protect him forever.

Amazing! You can know so much from this game like how a child feels or how to take care of them and mostly how much things can change the future only becuz of that one wrong option you picked. You can also help the child in homework and I learn so much about animals and more from the homework she/he asks you, it dosn't matter if you picked the wrong option in H.W though. This game is fantastic, this is my second time playing it and I really wish you could make more options for the end besides where we go somewhere away from the evil town and the father not being able to take care of the kid. Like I said it would be awesome if you added more endings and made the story longer so we can watch the kids grow up at least until they're teenagers. Maybe you could make "My Child Lebensborn 2". It would be great !!

Amazing game honestly! I had so much joy in playing this and it's all really fun, emotional and interesting all at the same time! But like, when I went to the shop, I bought a backpack and a comb and a few meals, i paid I wanted to exit but I just couldn't? I didn't know how I could. There was no button or something like that. I tried going to the main menu and coming back, exiting the app and coming back, it just wouldn't let me out that stupid shop! I had to quit the whole game! Unimpressed.

OMG I LOOVE THIS GAMEEE!!! It has smooth animation, emotional, your choice game, and super interesting story. In some moments I even wanted to cry and some I was so so happy for her. NO ADDS NO INTERNET needed. I played this game all night and I finished it at one day. It's not short I am just really liked the game! And yeah the art style is so pretty.

The small part of the story we got on the free version was okay, but the "gameplay" was boring and inconsistent - for example sometimes you can feed the kid until he is full for 1 time, but sometimes you get interrupted making it take 2. For such simple gameplay it can be pretty non-intuitive how to do something too. I didn't find the story worth continuing to slog through the terrible gameplay.

The game was so good for me. I really enjoyed playing it but the only thing I didn't like about this game is we have to purchase the next version of this game. Cute game with a dark setting. I loved every minute I played, even if I had to reboot the game a lot - something I am NOT docking the game for. To explain it briefly, my game crashed whenever I played for more than a day (in game). After this, I had to fully close the game and restart whatever progress (if any) I had on the next day. All of this - in my opinion - is attributed to my phone being out of date. My heart goes out to those who suffered like little Klaus/Karin. I wish y'all happiness.❤

The lite version of the game let's you play 7 or so in game days before asking you to purchase the full game. I think it was a worthwhile purchase. There are some things that can be improved. Firstly, there's not really any proper way to 'save' the game. If I exit the game before the in game day ends, and then go back in, I lose the days progress. Also it gets very repetitive quite quickly and there's not really much replay value. But overall, a beautiful and heartfelt game worth playing.

Bought the full version. The storyline is heavy-hearted and the game has a unique concept such as picking choices carefully. Here are some of my critics: some narratives can get redundant and there is no option to save the game at an exact point. For this reason I return back to the past narration. This should also be rated 18+ and not 3+ due to the sensitivity of the topic and language used. Minor problems are mainly just how short the time is and how there is not much activities available.

Incredible story pointing out something I never knew. I homeschool my kids and will likely have them play this. The time slots are frustrating and it would have been better to have more time. But the story was amazing. You really fall in love with this child (I picked Karin.). Absolutely heart wrenching. Ends abruptly and you still have questions about what happens at the end. It's a really great game, no ads, worth the money 100%. A dark and yet sadly realistic topic that brings light to the ups and downs of parenting, especially in tough times. You really have to make decisions on how to spend your time, and how to help Klaus/Karin. Hands down one of the best games I've ever played.

Very amazing game, it has such a great story and art style. Altho I pity the people who are complaining about this game "not warning us about it not being free" i mean, it's literally called: "my child lebensborn LITE", if you have atleast 5 braincells, you would know that it's a demo. And making this demo is an amazing idea, because you can try the game out before buying it, to make sure it's not a waste. I also played the full version, and the small prize of ~$3 is very much worth it! :) :) :)

This game was incredible. Heartwrenching. Outside of the obvious underlying message here regarding the struggles Germans faced after WW2, I also must mention it is the most interactive parenting simulator I've ever found. If the devs made a parenting simulator for a modern situation with modern struggles and a little more detail/time to work with than this one, I'd shell out a decent amount for it. Great game.

Ah- this is one of the best game i've ever played! Although its only the lite version, i really had much fun playing it. Choosing diffrent options will led to a slightly diffrent alternative. This is really great and quite touching..along with the artstyles of the game! And also, I havent bought the full version yet but i think i'll purchase it later in the near future! This is a amazing educational app, I've only played the free half at the moment until I can get the other half that cost money but I have to say, I definitely recommend it! The setting is a girl or boy in the 1950s after ww2 had just happened and they have a foster guardian taking care of them! (I wont spoil the rest) Overall it is very good and amazing! The only reason I didn't make it 5 stars is because I didn't get to see the rest because I dont have the money at the moment! Overall 9.5/10!

This is a great game, if you are looking for a demo of a sad and fun game, this is the one. Yes, it may only be the demo version of the actual game that costs money, but it is one of the best demos out there! The storyline, the characters, the quality, it's both immaculate and heartbreaking! I chose Klaus as my main character, and I love it so far! But buy the full version, because it will be worth your time, AND the money goes to charity, which is a great thing.

the games are very cool, good drawing, great plot (even sometimes you can cry), but I'm outraged by only one thing, what the hell "buy the game to continue playing" this is complete nonsense, why can't you just make a paid rest, food, change of night and day, choice answer. But no, it was necessary to do this, well, it can be fixed simply by downloading the hacked version, so we advise you to immediately download the hack, otherwise it's super, thanks to the developers!;3

Such a lovely game, I ended up getting too invested in the story and just bought the rest of the game. Klaus was such a likeable character and he was so sweet and funny. Totally worth the two dollars. It gets pretty sad and sensitive at times but overall an amazing game. I finished it all in one day, and the best part is, there's multiple characters and endings, so I'm definitely playing again and choosing Karin! ❤❤

I loved playing this game! I've played it a couple tunes now and I love how some of the dialogue changes depending on how you talk to Klaus/Karin! The only reason this is 4 instead of 5 stars is my game kept crashing every few hours while I played it. However, I am on a Samsung galaxy tablet and that may have just been my tablet acting up. All in all, great game! I can't wait for the next one to come out!

I loved this game so much! The story was fun, sad, and you can tell alot of work was put into this app. Although I feel like there's some minor things that they should have added such as, You should be able to see everyones face including your own, You should be able go into the school to talk to teachers and principals, and lastly It is a little hard to work for money so maybe add something where you can buy coins. This game is absolutely amazing. It really taught me more about the way not only world War 2 effected those in it but also those after. Those that had no experience in it. I couldn't put it down for the longest time, and Klaus really grew on me. I feel as though I had a real connection with him and literally wanted to step into the game and hug him. Balancing out time, food, and work had its challenges. I've never paid for a game in my life but I can tell you, it's worth it.

I have never paid for a game before till today. The first chapter is free to play then they ask for $3 for the whole game. I spent roughly 9 hours playing and finished the whole game which left me wanting more and in tears. The art work is splendid and the story line is really immersive. It is also very educational and gives a front row seat to see what it might have been like for some kids in this type of situation back after ww2. Warning topics:abuse, discrimination, abandonment,bullying, ect.

I loved this game. It's heartbreaking and it does a good job in getting you immersed in the lebensborn sad history. Reading the diary gives a lot of insight into that. Beautiful graphics and animations. I bought the full game, and didn't regret it. It would have been nice to see more changes taking effect after each decision, but still, that's a minute detail.

This game is fantastic. From the art style, to the historical accuracy, to the dialogue, I just loved it. The characters are so lovable, I even found myself on the verge of tears when I couldn't make them happy or when they didn't trust me as much. I 100% recommend this game to literally ANYONE, its just amazing. My only complaint is that there isn't more in the free version ;D

The game captures the intense emotional difficulty parenting in post WW2, I felt my heart ache for the child. I could not put the game down, the mechanics were simple, but fun. The dialogue was challenging and really makes you think about your own values. I originally downloaded the lite version, please get the full!! Definitely worth buying the full version.

Unique and enjoyable game! Very moving story as well. I never buy games, but gladly bought this one to experience the rest of Karin's story. This is the most emotional I have ever felt over a game! These poor children! Thank you for developing this game and shedding a light on a part of history that I had no awareness of. It was also interesting and challenging to play the role of a single parent in this game - trying to balance working enough to buy food with being there for your child.

There's pretty a lot to do in 1 day, but the limit of each time make it hard to choose which one we should do first. It give you some challenge on that but I always had this feeling to do better for the the child, which makes the limit is the thing that I don't really like. But this game just amazing, the storyline and everything make me drown deep to the game. It makes me love her/him like my own child

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I lOVE this game and it is now one of my top five favorite games I have ever played in my life and it's topping every pc, council and mobile game I have ever played. I love how in-depth it got in the story and how I was actually caring for the character as if it was my own child. I don't pay for mobile games at all but I was so invested in the story,worried for the child's safety. I hope to see a part two of this game!! I hope they moved somewhere where they are safe🥺

I didn't purchase the whole game, but even then it struck me as such a raw experience. The dialogue is great and the choices feel extremely realistic. Sometimes, as a parent, you have to make hard choices that can hurt your child's trust. For that child to also be born in such a turbulent time and subjected to the hate that brings? It's heartbreaking and the game, even in just the small bit I played, covers that well.

I never leave reviews. But I had to for this game. It's wonderful and very educational. It does speak on the holocaust but it is more of the healing of the surrounding countries and the cruelty Germans had to face after the war. There are little improvements I would make. I think being able to say more to the child would help. And being able to have a little more choice in what happens would be great. Overall, one of my favorite games and I am OBSESSED.

It was very fun, I played the free version. It was really stressful (which personally I kinda love) and was nice to see the I guess openness of the game. It had a fun storyline and beautiful art. It's like taking a peak into what it's like to be poor. (Which I've personally gone through and is really close) It's kinda upsetting how little time you have in the daytime but that's what makes it fun. This has to be one of the best games ever the only bummer is when you have to pay, but aside from that 10/10 best game, the person you choose to adopt feels like your son/daughter, it has a great storyline and message again best game! I'm going to be honest about the game- it's a great concept. But I've encountered a couple of glitches and time flaws withing the days. There isnt enough time to do the actions needed to proceed. There is a very limited interaction between you and the child and you dont feel any connection to the character until later in the game, but advancing that far into the game takes much more effort than what should be required. This concept definitely has potential but the story line is tossed about.

I ended up buying the real game right away. I love this. Brilliantly done, heartbreaking. It still recks my mind with Karin **spoiler alerts** and I can't figure out whether or not she was sexually assaulted by that awful teacher or not. All the reactions hint that she was. I loved learning and experiencing such a difficult thing through the eyes of a child after the holocaust. Amazing game, and definitely a must buy costing only 3-4$. My HEART! I accidentally bought the game through the demo version instead of going to the app store, so make sure you do that. Its such a good story and I love it so much. Really opened my eyes to the reality of what those kids had to go through and I really appreciate the game. 10/10 would recommend. The cost is well worth it for the experience.

i don't like it when it needs money to play further, if you can change it a lot of people would like it very much and the rating can go higher! i'm just sharing this information that you should make us play further for a limited time if could do it and it should be in a limited time for at least maybe a week or month? the people should have access to premium for a limited time until it goes back to needing money again

I like the game, but I have one specific issue. Everyday, every hour that pass is passing by so fast. For instance, every move I have to do, the time would pass and it would be noon already and I can barely do much work because the time pass by so quickly. I just don't know if it was because I'm playing the free version, but I hope it would have longer time range so I could do extra work without spending too much time. At least that just so I could have a better experience even for a short time

Bought the game and already played it a few times. Love the art and has an interesting story. Stumbled over a bug though: sometimes when buying/gathering food the energy/money you've spent dissapears but so does the food item. Back home the food isn't in the cupboard while you still lost the energy/money. This is a pretty big Thing in a game where resources are scarce to begin with.

Amazing game! I just started playing and am emidiatly attached to the kid. I love how real the game feels and how it flows together. This is such a good game! It gives the experience of trying 2 raise a child on ur own and shows how ur choices and words effect ur child. I wish the demo before buying was a little bit longer considering I don't have a family able 2 pay 4 stuff that is nonessential but I understand that profit is important. This game made me cry several times and it will definitely make you reflect on life and yourself and yours actions. It's rare that I feel so compelled to leave a review but this game is... wow. Although the gameplay can feel repetitive, the storyline is where the beauty of this game lies. Focusing on discrimination, bullying and abuse, it can be a difficult play, but the storyline itself allows for those little glimmers of hope. Would love to see additional ways of earning income and timeslots, as these are both scarce but overall an enjoyable game which is well worth the unlock fee

The games great but it does become the same pattern of feeding giving baths then making them go to bed, but overall with how good the game is and how I've only played half of it so far it's pretty nice and shows how cruel it was at one point. While it is a great game i dont recomend dowloading it if you cant purchse the full game, simply because its such a great game. The story line along with being able to make your own choices is amazing. But you will end up getting hooked and and intrieged. Since i dont have an opportunity to buy it i have to simply delete it. This was an incredible game! If you have the money it is worth buying, plus a portion of the proceeds go towards helping children of war. This game gave me an idea of what happened to the children in Norway after WW2. It is definitely a tear-jerker, so be prepared for that. But it was an amazing way to teach others about things that have happened and may still be happening in our world today. It's an incredible message contacted into a little game!

I was only able to play the LITE version since I currently do not have enough money to buy the full game. I love Karin/Klaus, and it's like I can feel the heartbreak they are experiencing. This was such a good introductory, even if it wasn't much. Would definitely recommend buying the full version to have more moments with Karin/Klaus

I Purchased the game it says only once for life when I finished the game and wanted to play with the boy they want me to purchase the game again! And when I press the restore purchase botton it's not working the game is fine but the baby is sad all the time and the time manegment is stressful sometimes the child sleeps hungry. Otherwise everything is nice

Based off of true events, this quirky WWII game is a delightful, and meloncholic, look at the struggles of raising a natzi bastard child you took in to raise. It's a harsh look at the realities that were commonplace back then. How will the choices you make effect the game? I know this game was often thought-provoking, and it left me feeling a certain type of way. Excellent game! I would highly recommend!

It's a really fun game, I bought it so I can finished the chapters but unfortunately I finished the game after buying it lol, this review is for the creator of this game.The game is perfect but I wish there was more stuff to do with your child. Like the teddy bear icon it, it leads you to their room and the only thing they can do is draw/ or sleep.. not a lot to do in the play room,, in the game you can buy your child more toys like a babydoll, fox, and a truck, I wish you can play with it.

This game is wonderful, truly amazing. I enjoy the story and really started to care for the child. Though, I just wished there was more time to do things. At some points, there wouldn't be enough time to feed the child and they would go hungry. Speaking of food, I feel it should be more available. Other than that, this game is great and can really put a person in their feelings. I was super interested in the story line, and hope there will be more in the future.

This game breaks my heart. I haven't finished it yet, but its so sad, yet amazing! There is one error with the photos. Any names in the photo gallery say Klaus, even though I picked Karin. It doesn't interfere with the gameplay, though, so it's fine. It was a really low price despite how great the game is. For those who don't know, most of the money you spend on this goes to a charity. Very little goes to the developers, unlike most games. 10/10, would recommend!

I truly enjoy the story and how there's never a perfect answer or choice to make. But the UI...not great. Food should be more accurate, reading mail that is just news from the time shouldn't take a task especially since you're forced to read it or your kid gets angry??? There's little to no ways to increase fun, since sometimes the woods are closed for no reason. I wish I could have gotten more into the story, but these elements and more really distracted me.

This game is so heartbreaking 😭 and the first one I didn't give up in finishing! It played the strings of my heart and I was emotionally attached to the child even though he was only a character inside the screen. I just wish the game still continued after they moved because it felt like I was not given the closure of everything. I wanted to make everything okay for my child until the end.. But nevertheless, it is truly worth the purchase 👍👍

very heartbreaking knowing what happens due to the sharing app, and seeing all the tragedies beyond the decisions, I really wish I could buy the game (to give the money to charity I believe) but sadly I am at a low cost of buying things (which means I have no money) I hope everything is going ok within the children's lives and it is such a sad story to see how the perspective of a child is, of all the way back at the war. But overall, this game is very sad but tells a lot more then a game.

Its a playable story that covers an issue most people would not be concerned about. I think it's a wonderful idea to introduce such topics and empathy to people this way. Its actually challenging to keep your child fed and clean and other responsibilities taken care of, so the game play is real. I will be buying the full game which is something I rarely do but I feel it is definitely worth it for my enjoyment and it's for a good cause. I had no technical issues and like the design.

At first, I wasn't going to bother with the game but later on changed my mind. It is absolutely heart breaking, especially towards the ending. Made me cry a couple of times. For the price (very low) it's an amazing game. I expected it to cost more but once I saw it was only around three something I was surprised. I loved the ending, in my opinion it was perfect for Karin/Klaus after everything they had gone through.

I really enjoyed this game however, you get halfway through the story and it asks you to purchase the the rest of the game! Some people don't have that kind of money and it's almost as if they're trying to scam you into buying the rest because you've already started it. I first came across this game through tik tok so I knew I had to try it like most others and in the previews or videos about the game it doesn't mention having to pay for it. Which I would take as false advertising.

Wow! A really fun game! I mean, yes, it does cost money, but it is a really great price for such a fun game! I've learnt a lot from the game, like a school lesson! Another few things I like about the game, is that there is no such thing as "paying gems" to make a decision, like in games such as episode or chapters. And, there is not an advert every 5 second. When it comes to the game itself, I adopted Karin. She is really sweet and you get attached ro her. Love the game, 5 stars for sure!

It's such a good game, except for the purchase at mid game, where it says you have to pay to play the full game. Though, there are no purchases after it, it stops you just when you get interested. And some may not be able to pay, as I can not. So, if you would, please make it so you have to watch an ad, though annoying, it would be better than paying.

I often don't bother with mobile games, but after hearing all good things, I decided to buy this game right away. This game is truly heartbreaking. The art style compliments the story and the events of the game so well. Everything about this game is perfect, just enough options for food, clothing and dialogue. The price is perfect and definitely shouldn't be free. This game tells such a meaningful and an important story, I'm so glad I decided to play it.

Beautiful game about a very real experience. The only reason people are giving it 1 star is because the full game costs 3 euros (all of which go to helping the cause that the game tackles). It's also clear from the beginning that you can't play the full game without buying it. Please give it a try if you can and buy the full game. One of the only games to make me cry.

for being just a demo there's so much to it. it goes in what i thought was pretty far, definitely enough to understand how to do things right if you get the full game. your dialogue choices will impact your child, and if you say smth wrong it'll hurt them, and you have to be really really resourceful of how much you can do in a day which makes it strategic but still a good storyline game. i really like it and once i can i'll be getting the full game :)

I downloaded this version to see if it was worth the money, ill save you the time, it is. Don't bother with this version just buy the game right away. It's a beautiful game, very well made and they deserve it. Wanting it for free is nothing more than greed, buying the game support the children born or war project, and that pretty incredible. I played the game in one sitting and find myself wanting to go back and pick new options, you really feel for this child and the story is immersive. incredi

Good game! Lots of food, buildings and a forest with a house! But the problem I have is that I can't tell my child what I really want to say, I feel horrible saying things that break her heart. And also I just got back from the game apparently saying" you have to pay to see the full story" and there's tons of reviews talking about that! So almost everyone playing wants that feature gone :( but it's a good game! Recommend don't get fooled by the one star reviews!

I actually like this game, its heart warming, and you can choose how to live your life and treat the kid in the game. But in the middle of the story, you have to pay to continue... Like I saw in the other reviews, maybe they can just put ads? Because there are some people who really doesn't want to spend money. But altogether, its a good game. Recommended to install.

This is by far my most favourite game. The graphics are simple yet beautiful & the storyline is just spectacular. My first playthrough was with little Klaus & my heart ached & cried throughout the plot. There are also times when I thought my heart stopped! My poor baby. I was so absorbed with the game that at times I feel as if I am actually there looking at him. It's a surreal feeling but I kinda like it. Whoever is reading this review, please download it & experience it for yourself!
