There is a lot of fun to be had in this game, especially if you love Disney. I have played for a little over 2 years and while I spend on the game, even I will say its gotten a little overwhelming and definitely pricey. Definitely want to give an honest review. If you are a completionist, walk away. If you are pressured by FOMO, definitely think twice before you download this game. FOMO wasn't terrible when I first began the game, but definitely has increased heavily lately.

i really enjoy this game and have been playing consistently, but I'm extremely frustrated after a recent game update caused me to lose all of my progress and start at the beginning. i contacted game support almost a week ago and still haven't received a response. in the meantime I've lost my streak, missed the Mickey and friends crate and am now missing out on the monsters Inc event because my original progress is gone. I would like to continue playing but need my original progress restored.

The game has been lots of fun until today. It was crashing constantly, so I tried logging back in, restarting my phone, and forcing a stop. When that didn't work, I tried to reinstall the game, but it kicked me all the way back to the beginning. I lost all my levels, characters, and money I spent. It never would let me connect my account, and when I asked for support, I got thrown into a queue where I sat for hours with no response.

I used to play this year's ago as a kid and loved it, but it's become unplayable. It takes 3-5 times to get the app to actually fully open without crashing, and even then, it usually crashes within minutes of playing. There are constant pop-up ads that add to the systems crashing problem, and it won't let me make any purchases with real money. I haven't been able to connect my Game Loft account for months, and customer support was absolutely no help. 2 stars, but only for nostalgia.

I have played this game for years and then had to stop for a few when. Now when I try to reconnect my account to get my progress back I cant. i spent money on the events awhile back also so its a huge loss. I try to contact customer service both in game and email and nothing. so for now ill give it a 1 star for literally feeling like they abandoned the player base.

The amount of pop ups, wow!! It's definitely not to make the game "Free" (It's not free). Your all about imagination, imagine all the kids "accidentally" downloading all those pop ups?? The wait time on objectives, that's where the real $ comes in to play, a long with some characters, and buildings. Great graphics and good stories n style. Gets boring with wait times.

I have been playing this game over 10 years. It is the ultimate game for the Disneyaholic! Always something new coming. Yes it will get a glitch now and then, but the customer service is A1. They get back to you & compensate for the issues sometimes. They have Discord channels too, to ask questions etc... They are always open to suggestions too.

If you are a Disney fan this is a nice slow building game. Getting new Disney characters are really cute, but once you get to the limit for characters you have to put them to the side and can't use them unless you change them out. I really hate this! Most building games they start out letting you get land easily, but priced outrageously to get more power or gems with out collecting for months or use real money to get new lands. At this point not sure I can continue with it, to bad it's cute game

The game has become a full gambling experience with everything being just "a chance of getting". 90% of all new content is "pay for" through cynical techniques like the kingdom pass, and mostly all new characters require epic and legendary tokens given only by other "pay for" characters. While the game seems cute, is not worth the time or money invested.

Just started playing, an event starts that I have no way of participating in unless I spend a lot of money, which was unpleasant. I misread something and thought I could participate if I spent in game currency, turns out I just wasted all that currency so now I have useless items in my inventory. Reached out to support, and eventually the mistake was corrected. I appreciate the help and will know better for the future.

Been playing this game for years. I used to think it lagged really bad. Realized I just had terrible devices that I was using. This game is nice. I like that you can't spend too much time on it. It would be nice if the characters were a little easier to upgrade but I get it takes time so you'll play the game more. I wish I had more options to get certain character but overall, game play is nice and always enjoy the game.

I used to play this game when it first started. I couldn't continue playing it because I didn't have enough space and got rid of it. I was able to go back to it years later and I find that there's ads for every little thing you complete. Quest? Ads. Got a treasure Chest? Ads. Upgrading a character? Oh look, here's an ad. I especially hate that they put a season pass because of trends. I would have given it more but Gameloft is greedy with heavy monetization. GET RID OF THE ADS!!!!

it is a great game and I would give it a 4 star review. that is until you get 5 mins in and you get forced ads every 30 seconds. no joke. its like those games that make you watch forced ad after forced ad. the kind of thing you'd never expect to see in any Disney game. but they are doing it too. I had to just delete the app its so bad I can't even play it. Hopefully they remove the ads in the furure and I can re download. that or at least give an option to skip or even limit the ads cuz its bad

I have been enjoying this game. However, I am about to delete it; there is a bug or something that when ads pop up, there is no way to exit them. No "X," and I even try hitting my back button 10000 times to no avail. The game is fun, but everything starts to take a long time to achieve after a little bit; a lot of the time, I am only on the game to reassign characters, which is annoying.

it's okay. besides SO MANY characters being locked behind a paywall, and consistently playing the exact same mission in a different style over and over again. it's like TSTO where you send them to do their thing, go offline for a few hours to very little rewards. over and over also let me add the grind is FOR REAL. I've been playing for a few days with LITTLE advancement. you can't even build buildings, without having to collect enough materials to craft the SECONDARY currency.

Very fun and entertaining game! Love the characters and graphics! EDIT: Gameloft is making it harder and harder to get tokens for characters! You need 16 tokens of one thing and 12 tokens of another just to get a character at 4 to 6 hours each!? Then most of the time, the characters you send for all that time come up empty, gaining NO tokens after all that time?! Yeah, this game is getting to be more of a chore than anything else! 🫤 And like others have said, the advertisements are ridiculous!

It was a fun game to kill some time, with a lot of waiting in between tasks unless you had the skip tokens. But then the ads became ridiculous. Out of curiosity, I would start a timer every time I logged in to play, and sometimes not even a full minute would pass before an ad popped up. I completely understand watching ads to get gems or whatever, but now it's to the point where I'm being tricked to watch ads. It's just too much, I couldn't enjoy the game anymore.

I like playing. Nice diversion for a while. I don't​mind the ads because it's a free game for me. That was back in 2017. Things have changed for the worse. My game glitched, it took several days to resolve and I lost time and event tokens and event progress and tappers. They only gave me back the event coins. I gave up. I was looking at going to Dreamlite but same company so NO. Shame 6 years of playing and it's just now a money grab.

I've been playing this game for about 7 years now and it has always been one of my favorites. However, it's becoming impossible to enjoy the game without spending real money, especially when it comes to collecting characters. I'm fine with the 6 mystery chests for $10 but now you're starting to charge $20-$25 for ONE character??? That's crazy!! Entire game is just becoming a full-on cash grab. Very disappointing.

Potentially a fun Disney game, but events are practically impossible to participate in and make any real progress. I played years ago,lost all progress when I switched phones. Now that I've come back and playing brand new, I have yet to be able to access any paid items. The app always says there is a connection error and/or no bundles available for purchase. I've submitted ticket after ticket. No real help and keep getting put off, "out developers will look into the issue". So frustrating.

I've been playing the game for a very long time. I decided to change my review because it was fun, but now it is a blatent cash grab. It used to be player-paced & relaxing, but Gameloft decided to add event after event with impossible tasks. The only way to complete an event is to spend a lot of money and play for hours every day. Unless you have unlimited cash and time, don't bother. In addition, Gameloft says they are taking players' comments seriously, but they don't.

I've played this game for many years and have enjoyed it. But as time has gone on, it has become more pay to win than anything. The RNG is excruciatingly unfavorable, even to those who have their characters in events all day. In every character-introducing event they've made it nearly impossible to unlock the last character. I'm at 0/10 on Mirabel's second item, even though I've run 4 different characters consistently for the last several days. But I can BUY her for $14.99. Change the RNG!

The game starts out really fun, but as you get further into the gameplay, everything becomes so stinking expensive that it takes forever to accomplish anything. And there are too many side quests. I wish they would put more time and effort into actual game play, not just the monthly challenge that i gave up on (and actually take pride in not participating in). In short, starts great, and goes downhill from there

I've been playing since 2019, and this game used to be fun, but with all the recent changes, it has become more of a pay to play game and like many other players I am losing interest very quickly. So many adds, so many potions needed to unlock land, you need to spend real money to buy most of the characters now. It's sad that a once great game has become a money first game instead of a customer experience game like it was when I first started playing. I will be uninstalling.

I have played this game for over 3 years. In that time my review has dropped from 5 stars to one. I'm sad to say this game has become nothing more than an ad-filled game that requires micro-transactions to be enjoyable. Many of the "quality of life" changes being made are being presented as making gameplay easier but they are just making it so you have to spend money to unlock the characters/costumes. I haven't spent a penny on this game and I never will so I won't be able to play much longer...

I started playing this game in early 2020 and since then the quality of the game has cratered at high speed. You used to be able to do just fine being free to play or paying just a little but recently it's been insane. Most recent event had four characters, one free, one premium ($10), one on the paid season pass ($20) and one with impossible drop odds but for a $20 bundle you could still get him. Gameloft are bleeding this game dry before closing it for the new Disney game they have coming out.

I have played this game extensively for a long time and seen many changes. Many of these have made the game less enjoyable, while adding more and more pay to play options which, additionally and more problematic, require more and more time spent to get rewards in the form of characters and upgrades. It's still a decently good game overall, just, has now seen yet another new pay to play update, which has added yet more obstacles to make it even more time consuming.

I use to like this game, but now it's becoming nearly impossible to actually build your kingdom unless you spend lots of real money, character unlocks take forever unless again ou spend lots of money, hate the fact that you are only allowed 100 characters even though you open up well over that amount and other factors. Could be so much better.

It is a slower game, you do have to wait hours for tasks to happen BUT I do love the game!! I wish it was easier to get certain characters. Some you need to buy with gems and certain tasks can not be performed without those characters. 200-500 gems have to be purchased or a bundle. Some bundles are semi worth it. It's cute, and I check it occasionally.

I love this game. It's an easy, slow-paced idle game with great graphics. If you like to progress quickly in video games, this isn't the game for you. If your kid is playing put a password protection on purchases. In true Disney fashion, there are dozens of super cool things to buy in every chapter of the game. Edit: I see other reviews about crashing. I've never had a problem with the game. Even on my old cheap phone the game worked great on wifi.

Thus use to be my favorite game. Put a lot of time & money into it collecting characters and such. Then they went and put a limit on how many of the characters you can have in the game, all the while introducing more new characters. 🤦‍♀️ Now you have to send loads of your characters "home" to even play. WTH? Not playing so much anymore OR investing anymore cash. Takes the fun out of it.

This game is a money pit. If you barely start playing this game good luck getting all the characters. You basically have to pay 9.99 for a legendary chest and HOPE you get a character. Drop rate is terrible for chest. Spent 28 dollars TRYING to get a character and was unsuccessful. Another thing that is annoying is the lack of land. What's the point of purchasing and obtaining buildings if they're going to be in storage? Waste of money. DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME if you want to spend lot of money

I use to play this game a lot and spent a lot of money in the game. You use to be able to have all your characters out in the kingdom, but now you can only have 75 characters out. How you have to upgrade different attractions now but you need diamonds, and you could buy any concession stand or gift stand. Now you have to open chests in order to get plants, monuments, concession stand, and other things. Can't upgrade any character you want to either. I'm disappointed with this game now.

Probably gonna stop playing this game. I hate hate hate the new update with limiting my characters that are in the park. I also dont like that it cost so much magic to get a new piece of land. Do you know how long it takes to save 3,000,000 magic? Also I bought a chest pack a while back and didn't get it. Also never got a refund and I reached out to the company. Its sad that after a few years of playing they've made it where I really don't want to anymore.

Previously rated at 4. Very dissatisfied with the character limit that accompanied the Nightmare Before Christmas launch. Perhaps a review of Facebook comments is warranted to appreciate the level of community upset at this limitation. It would be helpful to know why we aren't allowed to play the characters (read...as many as we like) in our kingdoms. By limiting characters in the park, you limit the ability to earn magic and tokens/ items needed to progress in game/ level up characters.

Fun game but takes a long time to get items to upgrade characters and park. Now, with the last few updates, they have made it harder to get characters, harder to stay at the happiest level and no space for more buildings. Prices for characters are pretty expensive unless you own Disney. With the latest update you can't even have all if your characters in the park. You cant perform any actions if you have too many characters in at one time.

Would be fun if they weren't trying to get you to pay real $$$. Any character you might want is unobtainable except via a chest where you might use up all your precious gems w/a less-than-10% chance of getting the character you want. Most of the time you get a useless concession stand or topiary. Impossible to get the characters you want or advance in the game without spending a lot of real $ on a virtual game, which I refuse to do. It's fun to play but hugely frustrating.

Three words: Kingdom Character Limit. What is this? I've been playing for more than six months trying to unlock more characters for my park. Disney pushed us to buy this and do that to get your favorites. Now, I'm not allowed to have characters I've already earned in my park! I have to put them in storage (sent home). What is the point in actially playing if you can't use what you earn? I went through all the grinding for nothing. If you paid for anything in this game demand a refund!

It was an awesome game until the newest update which forces us to only have 75 characters doing missions at the same time. This will, not only, make getting tasks done for specific characters take longer. But, it is also a crappy way to force us to buy more stuff because it will take 10 times longer collecting what we need from the few characters out, to get more space and more characters out. I have dealt with past updates, but, I am completely not happy with this update and I'm done.

could be great. Sounds like it was. Everything takes a ton of time to do, and its a pain collecting for characters. Game only seems possible if you drop a lot of money and a lot of time. For example, Prince Charming. to unlock him took me a bit because I was missing a set of gloves, but finally got him. Did one quest, then I had to level him up which took a while again. Did one quest, and now I have to do all that over and level him up yet again. All about spending real money.

I have absolutely loved this game for the last 2.5 years. In the recent update, however, they imposed a maximum character limit that can be in your park. This has completely ruined the gameplay as a lot of us spent money to have these characters. I like to master a game and each time you get close they find another way to move the bar. Very dissapointed.

I like this game a lot however the treasure chests kind of suck now. I paid money for the ones with characters, and the way the game is setup now you can't make a selection when you open a chest - it just picks the first option, which is always fairly small/lame. I won't be putting any more money into this game until the chests are fixed, I don't even bother to open them anymore unless I HAVE TO in order to keep playing the game. Get rid of the chests and let us buy decorations again!!!

The original concept of this game is good. Create your own park, add characters and rides, defeat the dark magic. The reality is that new characters take months to get, the drop rate is ridiculous unless it is a times event. There's a lot of land that should be available, but is coming soon. The game gets boring because there's nowhere to put new rides, characters take forever. I understand it's difficult to create and maintain a game, but the developer doesn't listen to the players.

Terribly boring. Graphics are not up to par for today's games. Read, click. Read, click. The game is flat and has no dimension; no life. I see within 30 minutes of gameplay, developers want you to speed up the process of doing tasks (click to speed up, which costs you.) Easy to tell that it won't be long before the game wants real money. It can't even hold my attention through a tutorial, so it's getting deleted. Poorly executed.

Game play is fine. Just collect guys and level them up. But the creators put out more and more attractions but make it impossible to put put them all in your kingdom. And there is no downtime between events. I love the exclusive content but a little time to relax and enjoy the game would be great. I downloaded this game day 1, and uninstalled because the problems showed no signs of getting better.

I have a real love-hate relationship with this game. On the good side, it is an enjoyable game to play through, collecting up attractions and characters, leveling them up, etc. It is certainly possible to play this game without ever spending a cent and thus I don't think that calling it a "cash grab" is entirely appropriate. Graphics are quite good, characters are fun, and overall it's a very well-done game. HOWEVER: there are some big issues with this game that make it hard for me to recommend. They are unreasonably and unnecessarily stingy with land, making it impossible to actually put out all of your attractions. Why is this? It makes absolutely no sense. People would spend more money in this game if you opened up the 10 or so blacked out plots of land, most of which have been there since the beginning or at least a year. Second, they refuse to ever make available any old characters from previous events. I would seriously buy them if I could! But instead, you can spend $10 and take a total gamble on buying a chest that might give you something you want or might give you a worthless decoration. I will never, ever, ever spend money on a gamble. I would spend money to guarantee something valuable. I wish the game developers would take these important things the community is saying into account and make some changes. They are actually leaving money on the table this way. Overall, I will keep playing due to the time and some money I've invested in the game but I would not recommend it to others.

Love the concept, but no room to expand. Players who have been playing from the beginning and have the majority or all characters and attractions find themselves having to store them in inventory when new content comes out. The other option is to smash everything side by side, which makes the point of the game irrelevant as you can longer create your own park. I would easily give 5 stars if not for this one issue. Good side of this issue? No need to pay for content cuz it won't fit.

This just a fun play it and forget it most of the day game. I usually check in the morning and maybe before bed. It is a disney game, it has a lot of the characters you know and love, but that being said, some of the ones you may want are locked behind For $10-20 purchases. Or behind a pile of diamonds that watching 2 ads a day for 1 diamond just isn't ideal. Over all doing the games story is interesting. It is a mobile cash grab game, so not much story. Lots and lots of microtransactions.

The game is really cute and sometimes fun but it's very pay to win. I can't even do the events because they're set up in a way where you have to pay real money to do them. Also, the ads really obtrusive. Nothing annoys me more than collecting things and suddenly having an ad shoving itself in. The game is a space hog. It's well into the gigabyte range.

I used to love this game. I loved being able to earn characters through a bit of waiting and luck. But now they have added so many features that it stopped being fun. You have to organize your park based on "thrill" now, instead of being able to decorate however you want. You also have to enchant your attractions now so you can get certain tokens and its just garbage. I had a 143 day streak and spent so much money before they added all the features. Not worth my time and effort anymore.

Been playing for a long time now, used to love it, but was out roughly a year before I started. Missed a bunch of limited time characters w/very little hope to ever attain them. Tower events are a waste since you cant complete w/o limited characters or spending lots of gems ($$). The happiness levels drop 100 points overnight. Not enough space in park. I can't even complete character events. Dont think I'll be on much longer. People play many games, we're not looking to spend a ton on one game.

I love this game but stop playing it for a while because storybook characters are becoming to hard to get and land is too expensive to buy and to buy characters. please make land and characters cheaper to buy. It's hard to play a game where it takes weeks/months to make any progress. can make characters easily available. i would rather pay to buy a character than pay to buy a chest for a chance at the characters. please make the map bigger, I have no more room for attractions.

I'll be deleting the game soon. The tower challenges are getting too pricey to the point where it feels like you need to use gems or money to complete. Then, there are the events that go back to back with small breaks. There's an abundance of characters but lack of land, leaving a lot of attractions in storage. Sometimes the game will shut down on me midplaying. For those who want to download the game, I suggest you don't. I only gave it three stars so the review doesn't get deleted.

I have been playing for 2+ years. It used to be my all time favorite game. Now it has become another money hungry "free" game with unobtainable goals. Real life intrudes with 24 hr a day game play which means you can no longer get anything new or complete events. Happiness drops every hour & you just can't get items, let alone 60‐80 of them! I play twice a day & it's still not enough...without real money. And now the latest update isn't working. If I didn't have 2 years invested I would delete.

I really liked this game in its earlier incarnations. However, with this latest update, the money grabbing aspect is much more prominent. The days of casual playing are over, as you can never gain enough happiness to maximize token drops to level characters (and attractions, now), nor can you level characters nearly as fast as before with the drop rate reduced as a whole. Gameloft, I know you like making money, but it won't be from me any longer.

Don't bother unless you want to waste a ton of money. The challenges are impossible to complete if you don't buy the special characters for each event. And if you are trying to complete a set that got released before you started playing...I just spent $20 on chests because I had 1 character left in the set that I needed. What did I end up with? 8 decorations (6 benches, 2 fences) and two stands. That's it for me, I've wasted more money than I care to admit on this game, but I'm done.

I don't mind spending money on a game that I enjoy playing, but to spend money on a chest that gives you random items is a total ripoff!! If you are spending real money, then we should pick what we pay for, not a 5% chance you might get it, and until then I refuse to waste my money on disappointing chance items. Also, how hard is it to increase the land size? I might uninstall app soon because my happiness level is dropping faster than the ecstatic guests in the updated happiness system.

Played this game for about a year. At first it was a lot of fun, but a few months ago, the events started getting harder to complete. Then, they changed the happiness system. If you are not babysitting the game and opening it at least once every 1-2 hours, you can't recover without shelling cash into the game. Heaven forbid you try to get a full night's sleep. Finally uninstalled it, today, and unless the happiness system gets fixed, it is staying that way.

It was fun. I was wanting to unlock more areas and characters. I can't unlock anything because goofy doesn't have any quests, nor does Mickey, Woody or anyone else. The new update changed the happiness system. Before I was able to keep it at max, now it has gone down so much because of lack of thoughts and opportunities to get more. The silver and bronze chests are useless for happiness as it only gives one, so do the ads. Don't buy anything off this game. It's all pay to play

I used to love this game so much! Lately though over the last year or so I have seen this game become so money focused. Challenges/Events have become so much more difficult to complete! Some are nearly impossible unless you spend $10-$20 & I have! I've spent far too much on this game but no more. Now even spending money you hardly get anything! I spent $20 on legendary chest trying to get 1 character I need & got decor & concessions! I quit forever unless you become more focused on your players!

I want to love this as much as I used to, but it has turned into a straight money grab unless you play 24/7, especially during events. Even missing minimal resends, it's near impossible to get some of the characters in the limited time slots - without spending a ton of actual cash anyway. I am always willing to support games, but not a huge fan of being cornered into doing it. Either you have the job that gives money to spend and no time, or I have no job and no money, but all the time.

to advance in game is to time consuming and cost money. Not for young children anymore need to keep monitoring the game 24 hours a day, was a game just to play to relax now added a lot more thinking or strategy to it. They keep adding more attractions, stands and decorations with no place to put them. Starting to spend to much money. It is a free app, but cost money if you want to keep up with the game otherwise you can't advance and cost more money latter if you try to catch up when available!!

I have been playing for over 2 years now every day, all day long. it used to be fun and i couldn't wait to play but now they have royally messed the game up. I'm a huge Disney fan but i can't support this game. if you want to complete anything, you have to purchase characters and being on a fixed income is difficult. Not to mention that you should Not Have To purchase anything to have fun and progress through the game. I really use to enjoy this game and hope Disney will fix the issues.

Dont bother downloading this game, unless you have time to play this game every hour or have a bunch of money to spend. The events are a joke. I have not been able to finish a single one, and I am close to completing all of the main quests. The drop rate is horrible. It can take up to a month to unlock a new character with these drop rates. The newest update for the happiness is awful. Gameloft said that they wanted to make it challanging, well good job. You made it impossible. Dont get this game

I've been a loyal player since the beginning, however this most recent update has me so disappointed. It's cute, and was a fun way to pass time, but now it's become a job, not a game. Events are so frequent, it's near impossible to actually accomplish anything in a timely manner. Gameloft has you complete a survey however does not implement any suggestions. Unless you have a SIGNIFICANT amount of time to check in every 1-2 hours or are willing to spend a great deal of money, pass on this one.

This game used to be 5 stars, but it's become increasingly more and more of a cash grab. It's virtually impossible to play now unless you're willing to pay (frequent special events that are physically impossible to complete without buying things, etc.). Newest updates have removed benefits players have enjoyed since the game's launch -- unless you're willing to pay to get them back! Corporate greed -- avoid.

Disney Magic Kingdoms is a great game to play. HOWEVER, the updates in the years I've been playing force players to spend, spend, spend. The more they update, the less I spend, and the less time I spend playing. The most recent updates 5/22/19 have so many complaints on their Facebook page. It's easy to see why Disney is no longer the happiest place on earth. I do not recommend this game. Unless, you don't mind spending an absorbent amount of money playing.

Have been playing for over 3 years & almost every 2 hours during the day. The game has become increasingly challenging, and not in a good way. Used to be you could finish challenges w/out having to "buy" premium characters using your gems or money. Now its impossible w/out wasting gems or dropping over $15/event. The drop rates also are no longer accurate despite your happiness level. The recent changes to how you obtain happiness is too hard to maintain unless you never sleep and play hourly.

Edit: I once was upset about the constant random ads. That's fixed. Now its the broken happiness system that doesn't give you any chance to body the system since the opportunities rarely spawn. Devs seem to be making this a free-to-play, $$$ to win system. They are only looking for the best way to get lots of money out of the whales (or children). Wish I could take back the money I spent in game when I thought it was actually good.

I used to really enjoy this game. But the most recent update is trying to force people to log in hourly instead of when they have time. Additionally, the limited time "events" are a high pressure attempt to get people up spend money or you may miss out ohn something. Exceedingly these obvious cash grabs and frequent pop-ups make me wonder if I should find a new game to mindlessly play when I have downtime.

Overall great game. Sometimes items are overpriced (in terms of in game currency). Edit: recent updates have made it almost impossible for current players to get new time limited content. I imagine the new changes will impact new players even more. Really unhappy with the changes that have been made in the last few updates. Would no longer recommend to new players.

New game changes are making it impossible to do anything without spending real money. I've played this game since the very beginning, have spent money on it and am a high level player. Recent changes, though, have made it impossible to sleep through the night without losing your happiness level, and equally as impossible to get it back to max level. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!! Even before these changes, they've made it impossible for new players to catch up without spending their life savings...

I am beyond sick and tired of the never ending back to back events/challenges. In I have come to hate, loathe and detest them because of the lack of breaks. They were fun when there was several weeks or more between them but not now. In addition the game has gotten ridiculously expensive and there's not enough land. Quite frankly this game is teetering on the edge of no longer being fun as it's quickly become and still is becoming a bottomless, frustrating time and, if you want to advance, money pit. In the past I'd have given five stars but as it is now I'm giving it three and seriously considering walking away from it.

This game used to be fun. The events were spaced out and manageable to complete. Now, there is a new event right after the last and an unrealistic time frame to complete it. This game is more than a full time job. You'll need to forgo sleep so you can get all the materials you need to complete tasks and get characters before time runs out. For those who say they are able to finish events, they're either spending real money or EXTREMELY lucky with drop rates. The majority of players are frustrated

Ive been playing this game for over 2 years now. Unfortunately, it has grown so large that they have become money hungry. Players beware! Game events have become impossible to complete without spending money or everu waking hour. You pay for a small chance to win a character, but you're not guaranteed anything for your $9.99. The amount of items to collect to level up a character are too high and the drop rates are too low. sending a character on a task for 6 hours 10 times only to get 1 item

I love Disney in general and because of that, I really wanted to like this game; enough to buy 12USD worth of IAP to add to that. But it quickly became a chore because there's really nothing to do since wait times are so long. I've played plenty of gatcha games but at least those have stories and other things to do. This game is just "Assign a task and wait 2hr+ for a 10% chance to get a component of a character." If wait time were shorter and I could actively play(minigames?) I would've stayed.

Looks nice, has some fun animation and design choices. Sadly, in-game costs are ASTRONOMICAL. It takes vast amounts of currency to do just about anything and getting that currency takes HOURS, if not DAYS. All sorts of pop-up ads as well. It's plain to see this is yet another cynical premium mobile game that's designed to make you hate the wait and fork over money to speed things along. Even as a hardcore Disney fan, I say avoid at all costs. Certainly don't let your kids near it.

The game itself is fun, as a huge Disney fan I enjoy unlocking new characters. Although the plus, the diamonds are far, few and in between. The ads for them do not work, and the price of characters compared to the amount of diamonds received is ridiculous. As for the Moana event, I enjoy the competitions but receiving necessary characters ends up costing real money. Very annoying.

I'm a huge Disney fan and I'm trying really hard to like this game, but so far its difficult because you need to pay money to do anything. Everything costs gems to do, 90% of the decorations, 90% of the buildings, everything= gems. I will make in app purchases in a game I genuinely enjoy to have something special, but I absolutely will not make purchases in a game that pretty much forces players to buy everything to have fun. Oddly, the game also has ads which only free games do, not p2w games.

I've been playing this game since its early days. It's great for kids and adults (who are still young at heart). The occasional updates and opportunities for non-paying players to earn gems keep me playing. Update: it's still a fun game but events are now virtually impossible to complete without spending gems. Even worse, the game is extremely laggy and freezes often on my Pixel 3.

Addictive and fun! But if you're not wanting to spend real money playing a game, this isn't for you.This game is built to be played with a lot of in game buying. Also there is so little land that you can't actually build a park like you think you're going to be able to... I'm bummed, because at first when I started playing you could do the events and move forward with only spending money here and there, but now the game is impossible to play or move forward without purchasing everything.

This used to be a fun game. Lately, it has become a chore. The events are too short to be completed unless you literally set an alarm to check the game every 2 hours, or pay $$$. Customer service is nonexistent, or rude. Latest update causes the game to crash at startup and no response after 12 hours. Keep in mind, to be successful in this game you HAVE to log in every 2 hours. If they ever fix the problem, I'll probably keep playing sheerly out of perseverance, but I do not recommend this game.

I used to like this game. Lately, it has become a money pit. When land costs 2,000,000 potions, characters cost over 800,000 potions and buildings cost 500,000, it takes a long time to do anything. I recently was trying to get three characters that cost over 300,000 potions each (one was over 800,000). When I finally got one, the character quest was to purchase a building...at 500,000 potions. I'm done. Not worth it. Need to spend too much money or not progress very far. Uninstalling.

I used to love this game. I've been playing since the start, & have most of the characters, which is a bit of a feat. Lately, they have made event only items either pay-only, or high cost in event currency, so you must use the highest premium currency too, making it impossible to get everything without paying. Events come up too soon after the last so there's no chance of recuperation after it, & one has to resign oneself to either pay cash or miss out on things. I only play because it's Disney.

I have been playing for a long time and had not had trouble until recently. Can't log into the game and when it seems like it is finally going to log in I causes my phone to restart. I have asked for help on fb but it takes 2 days to get a response and it seems the creators only respond to positive feedback, the rest of us having trouble can suck a lemon. The game is fun overall when it works. Just know if you are starting fresh they really give you no choice but to spend $$$. Greedy greedy!

This game stopped being fun when it began taking forever to accomplish anything. the amount of magic needed to expand the kingdom is ridiculous. The bundle costs are excessive. The only time this game could truly be fun is if someone has plenty of real money to waste on it. When I first started playing it was fun. The more updates they did to enhance and "balance" things took the fun right out of the game.

This game was pretty fun at first. You get to collect Disney characters and follow an interesting quest line without the need to spend real money to progress. Im not sure if its a level thing or if Disney suddenly became strapped for cash, but there has been a steep increase in pop-ups. Right when you think you are clicking on Mickey you are in fact clicking on an add which will redirect you to their page. This has led to quite a lot of frustrations. Sorry Disney you dropped the ball a bit.

AVOID IF YOU LIKE TERRIBLE SUPPORT AND FALSE PROMISES. Game is fun but impossible to progress if you are unwilling to spend real money. The FAQ for the game even indicates this by saying that "in order to increase your chances of receiving Epic or Legendary items you need to own premium characters". In other words, you have to own the characters you can only get from purchases. I used to buy items but after a couple of times of not getting what the game promised (epic and legendary items) and Gameloft support having no empathy (their standard response is "There is no error here") I am done buying anything. I'll keep playing (for free) since I have over a year into this game but it is truly disappointing. The concept matches up well with Walt Disney but the service you get from Gameloft is anything but. Only start this game if you want to spend money and be frustrated with terrible support.

It's funny how at the end of every event every token that you need suddenly becomes epic and impossible to get. So if you want the very last character, which is usually the main character, you have to buy them and spend more money (REAL money, not magic or diamonds). Disney and Gameloft can't possibly need that kind of money. Whatever happened to putting customers first? It's a GAME! Make it playable!!!

It seems the makers are getting more and more greedy and I have to pay to play if I want to keep up on content. some needed items are impossible to get without paying, others are time sensitive content that seems increasingly harder to attain without paying before time is up. Today I spent more than I usually do to get an item and never received it. Some of the characters had related voices and music, but most do not. so lame! Im not spending another penny on this game. basically you are just collecting characters and rides...not really a game. That is it for me DMK, Im out!

While I'm a Disney girl,and I love this game,there are things I don't like. Freezing,the difficulty in getting things to get a special character only to get so far and not get them. Getting such a small reward when you don't get the character. I'm seriously considering deleting the app. I've been trying to update for over an hour,and getting nowhere. Please fix the bugs

I like the game but I have earned diamonds so I can get gold chests(a total of ten times in all, not counting the free ones I have gotten or have won from events) and not even once have I got anything worth having. On top of that for whatever reason it made me have to start over from the beginning when I did have two attractions and 6 floats that I earned and saved diamonds to get. Which makes me very upset and displeased with the game. I wouldn't suggest this game unless that person has money that they didn't know what to do with. If you ever need help in the game for any reason don't expect any. I have left the game because it!

Game keeps freezing and crashing on me. Now it wont load the dialogue correctly. When going into the challenge everything is all bunched up and I can't tell what I'm tapping. Please fix. I've put to much time in this game and don't want to get rid of it because of these issues. UPDATE. Now I can't even upgrade my characters. I try to get them leveled up and the game crashes. With no warning. Please fix. Or someone tell me what to do so this will stop happening.

Keeps getting worse. It started out amazing, getting 5 stars from me. I'm a huge Disney fan, so I hung in there for a while when it started to go downhill. But now, even with paying money and lots of effort, it's still very difficult to get some of the main characters (as opposed to making just the sidekick characters harder to get like it used to be, which made sense to me). I don't have the literal hours a day or budget to make this game continue to be fun.

The game is fine as a "hurry up and wait" style game that has several hours long of waiting for something to happen, especially being a potentially free game. The only problem I have with the game is that for a game with zero conflict, it's way too much in the "pay to win" when it comes to events and it's so unfortunate for new players starting 1 - 2 years later. If you started in the beginning you at least had the chance to get a good amount of event characters since they launched. Just starting this year I have to pay $9.99 for 6 chests to maybe get 1 character (gambling anyone?) from an event that people got for free (excluding tower events, but even then you only get 1 character, that usually repeats in other tower events). I kinda feel like it's not fair to new players.

Looks like I'm not going to be able to play any Nightmare quests since I don't have Oogie Boogie and I'm not paying for him. There could have at least been more quests to compete without needing characters that were impossible to get the first time around without paying. This recent update has been useless unless you want to give Disney more and more money. I may have paid a few times if I thought it was worth it but not now--too much requires money. As I said before: Fun game to play, but I wish you would update the "coming soon" characters and rides instead of pushing through new patches every month. That and develop more quests--I haven't had one that wasn't patch-related in ages. Also, newer characters have a much lower quality of graphics.

Great game, but it's a little frustrating that to catch up on getting characters from past events ( I'm a new player) you have to spend $10 for just a chance to get characters. I spend a few times to open up chests and end up with 7 of the same concession stand. I don't want/ need that many. Then you can't even exchange them for magic or diamonds so they just sit in my store as useless wasted money. It would be much better if it was easier to get old limited time characters that we're available before I played. Or at least have more of a guarantee that I'll get them if I do spend the money. Maybe make all the extra prizes disappear once you win one like what happens if you do get lucky enough to get a character. It goes away and your chances of getting other prizes are greater. I wouldn't mind spending the money and would be more willing to if I was guaranteed something I didn't already have. Now I have to cut back because I feel like I'm just throwing away money, more than I already was on a silly game.

Annoying when trying to get the last character within the time limit and they put items as "epic" and you only have one character that can get them. 20 hours in 4 hour increments of not receiving an item sucks. Just wasted a whole day of the limited time frame to receive no item. Once the time frame runs out you will pretty much never get that character. All you get from the treasure chest is stuff you don't need when you spend crystals.

This game started out really good, my family and I played since it came out. Even spent more money than I care to admit, and rated it 5 star. But every update and event brings more and more paywalls to the game, I get that it needs money to stay up but when it gets to the point when you need to spend money for the premium character to complete the event, that's just greed. To top it off they seem to focus more on pumping out pay for characters and extras they seem to have forgot about the keeping the game running smooth. Used to run mint, not anymore. Well I hope they can aleast fix the way it runs maybe add in some more character voices, that would be nice, but it's pretty unplayable atm.

This is not a game. And this game personally huts because if a game with this concept existed I'd easily drop $60 on it because this is an amazing idea. Sadly like so many other not-games though it's gone the freemium route, looking just for those poor souls it can extort for cash. But what does one expect of Gameloft? It sounds like a fun concept. Build your own Disney theme park. I absolutely love that game. But anyone who's played any of Gameloft's other builder games such as Simpsons Tapped Out has a pretty good idea of how it's going to go. You send a character to do a task to generate currency, they take several hours to do it, then you spend that currency to create a building to generate more currency, but it'll take even more hours to do that. Just... Imagine you were playing an actual game like Sim City, but when you tried to build your first community district it took you over 24 hours. I get the idea that it's a cell phone game, and so there's the mentality of check in do a few things and come back later but... There's not a whole lot to do when you check in. It's all nonstop constant waiting combined with random loot crates that never give you what you want.
