I have cancelled my subscription twice but they have still taken money from my bank for another year, twice

I got this camera because it was free to watch the live view, but now it is subscription only. The app signs me out after every 2 to 3 days and when I could watch the live camera, it wasn't that amazing. The app isn't even called aiwit anymore, it's called kemo pro. I can't afford to get a new camera, so will have to use this one for now. I highly DO NOT recommend this app or doorbell camera. UPDATE NOVEMBER 2026: The doorbell doesn't update the days of the week, so avoid using this app.

Only problem is there is no adjustment to extend time or auto extension unless your recording interactions. changed networks and hoping for a better interaction between the 2 only a low yearly rate so that's good.

I haven't had any issues with my camera.... EXCEPT THE FACT THAT THEY ARE STILL TRYING TO COLLECT THE YEARLY FEE WHICH IS ONLY $31... FROM MY CARD. STOP IT!!! MY SUBSCRIPTION HAS BEEN PAID FOR A WHOLE NEW YEAR!!! STOP TRYING TO COLLECT FROM MY OTHER CARD!!!

it's a shame for anyone who buys these camaras an use the for psychology behavior even in private mode the charge you too much when police wants Access they don't see certain timings an it correct when events goes on its only 1 to 2 mins when events acur it should go till no more is seen at least there was a shoot up here an police could get no 1s ringer cause they want 45 to 56 $ a month . that's to steap very steap I must say that's why a lot of people are now buying cam with memory cd

Doesn't record right. Also I switched to a different recommend app and I was wondering why. didn't work great so I uninstalled it and Installed the Kemo app. No issues other then it doesn't record well and sometimes it records 300 videos because the wind blows and it thinks it's a human. Ugh I cancelled the subscription when it expires. I only paid $29.99 for a year.

Just like everyone else, this app ceases to function properly after updating from the Aiwit app. I found the Aiwit app here on the Play store, so bye bye newer version.

OCT 4TH: The app just keeps getting more ridiculous now I have to watch an ad just to view who's actually by my door at this rate there has to be something better...wow now I have to pay to see live view absolutely ridiculous. takes forever just to charge! been charging all night and only at 51%?! OCT 23RD: Now it shows when there motion at the door but yet it's not logging it so it looks like there was no activity! Like what am I paying for cause it's certainly not for missing footage!

used to be decent, now its enshitified and money grubby, lots of functions were removed a year ago, like turning off flash on camera, setting scan paramaters, etc now you cant even look at the camera or store video without a subscription, which you could both do before, but they decided to restrict that... absolutely not worth spending money on this trash now, if you get their camera, youve basically got an expensive paperweight without a subscription, its a worthless cash grab tactic

blocks Recording and View functions randomly

Doorbell failed to detect, automatically record or send alerts during three unauthorised entries into my flat. Despite repeated complaints, customer service has failed to resolve these serious security failures.

this app was great until it switch over to Kemo and once I renewed my subscription for another year it doesn't work anymore and I am catching all kind of hell trying to get a refund from a service I can no longer you use

wouldn't recommend very poor service. custom service have a chip on there shoulder very arrogant with there replys . found better service that you don't have to pay for and customer service are 1000% better than kemo customer service.

It was good before signing up for the subscription. Now that we've signed up, it wouldn't keep the settings - motion/human detection, motion alerts. We've to constantly check that settings are set. Just waiting for the subscription to run out so we can get another camera (not Kemo!). So annoying!

Slow app and poor camera quality. What really makes me angry is that I was charged for a subscription without my knowledge or permission. I have no idea how they got my payment info. I contacted my bank and Google and am in the process of getting the charge reversed. I also had to replace my debit card which is a big hassle. I see others saying you need a subscription to use any of the camera features. I thought it was free but apparently they decided to charge me anyway. Don't waste your money!

This is now utterly useless. Do not buy tlany Kemo device, as per the other reviews, this appears to be a scam. It is also cheaper to go with someone like sky, who also do doorbell cams, or non subscription devices at much much cheaper price. Shame.

I've paid 59.99 for a years subscription. after the update I keep getting asked to subscribe. I've emailed them and keep getting emails asking for the SN# of my device. I've sent it 5 times. I'm getting ripped off and cannot get a refund.

Not worth it. You only type to a chat bot. No human interaction when you have an issue. No phone number to call. Don't change your internet password or you will lose your subscription because there is no help to properly get the cameras back online. ZERO STARS. The company changed it's name twice and signs you out of your account constantly. No.

The last update disables live view if not subscribed. That is the most basic feature of all cameras. As of today, no feature whatsoever works without subscription, which is more expensive than competition, while providing the worst, slowest and most unsafe service.

They did an update where you can't even use the camera anymore without pay a subscription. Rug pull, should be illegal.

I've owned my doorbell camera for a good couple of years now and it's still working good,and my outdoor solar charged cams with spotlight for about a year, I haven't had too much happen with any of the cameras at all, the odd connection drop out or reset itself which is a bummer because it don't restart with the settings for motion detection and human detection, so you can miss a whole day if you don't check, not sure if it's a software glitch that causes the camera's doorbell and outdoor cam

useless app, doesn't let you view playback

Use to be good a few yrs ago, now way to many glitches, dont always connect, and it pauses can hear sound by no picture. Will be looking into different cameras and app all together. very frustrating!

It's getting worse! Started off free, then changed to £29 a year. Now it's changed from Awit to Kemo. And is asking for another subscription even though we have an active subscription in place until 2027! It's taken a second payment of £119 and Google is refusing to refund the payment even though I cancelled the second subscription as soon as I saw the payment had been processed.

I've tried to contact the company about how it stopped working. Clipbur on Amazon, their customer service gave many non working ways. I did subscribe to the to view past videos was among their troubleshooting. Clipbur promised to send a new one. Never got. They are no longer on Amazon. The app named changed to this one. Come to think of it, they had another app I used from scanning their QR CODE is called Seeing. Bad product, customer service and company who changed to this one

After the last update (V 3.6.2) the app doesn't push any notifications. I've tried everything and yet nothing shows up. Unfortunately i don't get any motion detection, nor incoming doorbell ringing anymore... My phone device is Vivo X200 Pro. Please resolve the issue ASAP. Thank you

it was working fine and now it's been a while now that I do not receive notifications I have to get into the app to see any of them what is going on with it??

why would my camera not be sending notifications to my phone when all the settings on my phone are set to on, do not disturb or silent are not on and all the alerts on the kemo app are set to on?

SOOO UNSTABLE! It's always been hit or miss, but since yesterday it seems like it's offline. When I view the app it shows that it captured images, however it no longer gives me notifications and the doorbell doesn't chime when you press it. I tried troubleshooting and reinstalling, it made no difference.

I am no longer receiving motivations from the app even if you ring the doorbell....even when I was getting notications....I could be inside my door before it tells me theres motion at the door.

Since updated to Kemo my camera has went offline and has failed to reconnect to my wifi network

cameras dont capture as much as they should. they do ok. but they dont record the entire time someone is in front of your door. it stops after a few

lousy app! requires a cloud storage account just to view your cameras! Aiwit is a much better app built on the same foundation but does not require a cloud storage account!!!

Please get the app stabilised so it saves your settings, really fed up of having to re-do my preferences and having to keep switching settings back on. Get rid of the Cloud subscription, you don't need it as there's a folder 📂 on your mobile to save what you want to. It's a greedy companies trying to take your eyes out saying you need to subscribe to a cloud, total rubbish, what a con.

yeah when you buy it they give you a limited access to the camera and you can get a subscription to record all of it but after another company bought it they basically made the whole thing worthless

Very good video

It was quite affordable and preforms reliably. I just have the one camera on my front porch so it's pretty boring footage, mainly me coming and going with the occasional delivery person but it's very clear both visually and audibly. I'm happy with it.

Had this device some time now. Faults I put up with are picking up motion too late. Also sunny mornings just keeps recording, can have as many as 200 videos in an hour. Want to change but can't bother with the hassle.

This camera has been inconsistent as long as I have had it, however I will say that it is the more affordable option.

Sucks . It changed from aiwitt to kemo. And I paid for protection. it doesn't alert me now. and I'm enraged. I have to waste my time troubleshooting.And I don't have a way to contact you for help.

My dogo camera used to work when it was with the other company AI WIT it worked real good since they switched over.I only get any service now.I telling me to reset it.I've everything it worked real good before now.I wish I wish I can go back to the other company this really sucks

I intended to get this just so I could see live viewing..started alright but then I was informed I would need to pay for a package to get that. Sincerely wish I had not wasted my money, would recommend not getting it, unless you're ready to pay for sub par service.

camera is great but the issue i have when night comes it's black & white and video footage is not long when recording sometimes it doesn't pick up or late picking up I've get alerts but the tail end of cars driving by it. it would be great if all cameras can zone in on license plates it can be better for Criminal activity if anything happens the company of Kemo can automatically send footage to law enforcement

App now forces you to pay a subscription to view live feed. Terrible. This doorbell will now go in the bin. Also, I paid for a years subscription in October 2025 and you've cancelled my access already, a full month early. This company is now effectively a scam.

15 minutes after I'm home the camera goes off showing me arriving 15 minutes prior,audio no good,doesn't record like should,was a good product when first got.Now battery dies every two days and charge it for 6to 8 hours only gets to 60 percent on a good day.Will be buying new ones this week.Dont recommend buying this product.

had it working. But this year the company removed my model Z6 and I can't pair it because their servers have updated to disable this camera. It's not the app, because even the old app before the rename that was working doesn't allow it either. Don't buy from anything from this company

I have quite a few people coming to my door and it's not notified me that there's people are at my door. I'm having to charge it up at least twice a week... and it have a weak to no connect to my phone when I'm not at home...

I have changed my rating I have changed my rating; the switch has cause multiple issues. It continue to log me out, the wide screen images freezes up and occasionally blackout part of the images.

the vidia doorbell battery goes flat too quickly also after 18 months of use it stopped working and after reloading a few times over time it still refuses to open up and work I bought new batteries to change instead of recharging the unit so they were a waste of money

there was no way to communicate a problem to you. I am inquiring about getting a refund of the money you overcharged me. I did not want a year subscription when I had already paid for six months. I stopped using aiwit long before the 6months were over. I was double charged. I want my $107 back.

lots of problems .‏ short life battery, need to charge it every 2 months .not really human detect, only all movement .need to pay for Play Back video, and the pictures too small. if you want to watch it in Big Frame you need to pay .not recommended at all !!!!

Was decent when I first got the doorbell cam. Now they changed it and you can't see a live view or literally do anything without a costly subscription anymore. I can understand needing a sub for video storage but why can't I see a live view and talk to people at the door like I used to?! What's the point of even having it. Will be looking for a new doorbell cam when I have the money.

The debug update on 8/26 now causes the screen to show all the debugging information on the live feed of my doorbell camera. I don't know how to turn this off and I shouldn't have to because I didn't turn it on. The instructions provided in chat are not helpful and it still says Aiwit, the old brand name.

purchased this app for the whole year. I have only had it for about 7 months. when I go onto my app it tells me that I need to pay to use it. App store shows im still paid up for the year. tried to contact the creator multiple times over the past couple of weeks by email. there is no phone number to call. app it self has no contact information. Never received a response. even during the time I was able to use it, it wouldn't show me all the previous footage.

Had something stolen off my porch right in front of it, never detected a thing. never works when you need it. doesn't load quickly, never records yet always sends notifications of motion. don't waste your money. thing is a scam, probably sells your data too

The app needs to have rewind or AT LEAST FAST FORWARD when playing back the saved videos. This is the only app in the world that doesn't offer that. TikTok, Blink, Facebook, Twitter etc all have that privilege. Other than that I wish I could upgrade to better versions like blink that have AI technology that can tell what it's looking at. Do better I've had this for almost 3 years and there hasn't been any upgrades or changes! Like hello what are you doing with the money you have made!

I have used 3 doorcams for several years and it works ok. I assume connectivity problems depend on the camera, not the app. The app works well and the developer seems responsive to bug reports. No way to select Ringtone/Sound for events. Does not allow work in rotated phone mode.

This is a great doorbell camera I do however have issues with online hackers hacking into my wifi and my device either stopping my daily activities what people don't relize is this camera device is for my benefit and protection of stolen pacages I'm not worried about what anyone else has going on i just know that whomever you are ignoring know that you change my settings inside my device and that's no appropriate it's tampering someone else's personal information here I need encryption

when I bought this door bell I didnt have 2 pay 2 view the live feed but now it making me pay 4 something that should be free. I have never heard of paying 2 view a live view 4 a camera you buy 2 be able 2 see what's going on @ ur door or even in ur place. like 1 person said I can c paying 4 cloud storage & decet movement but I will not pay 2 view live feed when it should be free 2 begin with. I have already deleted my account & going 2 look in2 seeing if other apps let u use different doorbell

The basic features of just checking the live view of who is at your door requires a subscription. What's the point of a camera that you can't use without paying ridiculous amount for the basic thing. I get paying to play back but even pay to see who's at your door is just absurd. You can do better!!!

used to be a decent camera and app when it was Aiwit. now it's changed to kemo pro and I can no longer use the light on the camera and can't zoom at all. It misses motion all the time. I can walk right in front of it and it doesn't activate. It logs me out frequently and I have to pair it again. Will definitely NOT be renewing subscription. I've purchased blink cameras and already like them much better.

the camera range and area coverage is poor on the door cam. you have to have a subscription to even use the camera. even for set up. uses 2.4ghz so nightmare to set up. total waste of money. the app lags and when I get a notification, I have to wait 10-15 seconds before the screen loads with a picture. not happy at all.

Waste of time, energy and money. Got charged twice and I couldn't get in contact with anyone in order to get a refund. Company is in China. Doorbell stop working after having it for only a couple of months. Please save yourself from the frustration and stress.

Purchased for the cheap price and not required to pay a monthly fee. I have had my doorbell camera for 2 years and I was pleasantly surprised with the clear view and the distance of the camera. I also enjoy not answering my door & just speaking on the 2 way communication feature. Once a week charge and I genuinely don't mind paying for the cloud storage. It is roughly $30 for an entire year & can be purchased in the play store or on the Apple App Store. Costs about $4 a month.

I would definitely rate a 5 Star, but my system is not up too it's best recording anymore. It's not recording my car's when I leave in & out, or any other car's coming 🤔 in & out of the driveway. Even when my lawn crew are out front, it doesn't record them. Also my back camera doesn't work.😒 Can someone please get intouch with me, so I can get another system? They use to work fine, but I don't know what happened, & that's why I'm givin them a 3. They are definitely a good company. HELP ME

Very frustrating if you are trying to update to a different wifi connection. You have to delete the device and then add it back to change wifi connection. Will not let you edit.

I got a pop up saying I was looking at adult sites

I wasn't aware that I had to upgrade my subscription AGAIN in order to use basic features and I had paid my monthly 2 weeks prior to the new update which no longer allowed me to use the basic features . I didn't get the full month service that I was supposed to get. And months later now they're trying to charge my cards the $18.99 smh
