This is the worst app I've ever come across out of all my years of owning a phone. Not even convincing enough. There's popup ads everywhere. Regular calculators have none at all. When you're clicked on a photo or video, you can't swipe, and when you click off, you're greeted with an ad. I'm not exaggerating. It takes a maximum of two clicks on the app before you get an ad. When you log in, you have an ad after scrolling through confusing information. It always says "get started" as if I'm new.

Subject Urgent help needed to recover missing photos and videos Hello Applus Studio Support, I use your Calculator Hide Photo, Video app (version 1.180) on my Samsung phone. All my hidden photos and videos were present last night. Today, the app opened like a newly installed app, and all my old albums and files are missing. I did not uninstall or update the app, and I still remember my password.

Worst app ads are secondary it's not even doing it's work properly, I add some images and when I check then some other day they were gone, I don't know where and now I lost them and there is so, many ads, I understand that developer also needs to earn but there is some limit to that, we can't even use the app and click anything without seeing a damn ad, it's like we are using app while seeing ads not the other way around. Fix the issue and reduce ads quantity if you don't want only one time user

Do not get! Ads ads ads and more ads. As soon as you open the app you get an ad. click a button you get an ad. I never write reviews but good god I needed to write this. takes roughly 5 minutes of going through ads just to get to one photo. then another ad. you spend so much more time watching ads then you do using the app for its intended purpose. currently getting all my locked stuff off this app and uninstalling. DO NOT INSTALL!

Fake app, it's hiding things, but when you go to the file manager app and turn on hidden folders, it shows the 'calculator folder.' When I open it, all my hidden stuff is in this folder. So what kind of privacy is this?

it opens with "welcome to calculator" who's gonna look at that and think "oh, that's a regular calculator" then there's the ads that are placed even before you get inside to where you store everything. It just outright tells the person that opened it "I'm not a calculator"

If there was 0 or minus stars, I would give it to this app. In my experience, the worst app ever, because of the ads. The ads are so frustrating that with every click, there is a 20 second ad. If you use this app for 5 minutes, 4 minutes and 30 seconds of those will be ads. And every ad has the most irritating presentation ever. Total mess. Keep away. There are much better apps with at least 90% lesser ads than this one out there.

Ads on front! Soon as you open this apps, half of the screen is calculator and half is ads which made it very obvious and suspicious already. Even said "Welcome to calculator!" Child made this apps?? You try to do regular math and ads pop out instead of answer. There should be no ads in front, it should work as regular calculator on the surface instead of ads machine which make it very obvious. Lots of ads but once you figure out what to click on and what not to click on it's not too annoying. Pass code protected with spoof calculator, so it's hard to detect by suspicious significant other. I haven't tried other similar apps so I have nothing to compare it to but it's doing well for me. They haven't asked me to spend any money... Yet.

The App is Great for Camouflage but the interface is broken or inefficient to work. The app has ads very intrusive also the major problem is at the start it asks for language every time I open it which feels unnatural and then it loads ads again when I open there is also no one time purchase option to disable ads. Works well enough against a small search, but if everything was checked, the amount of ads would give it away, along with the fact that it goes through the start up process, and gives the reset code. At that point you might as well show whoever is going through your phone what you're hiding.

I did like this app even with all the ADs but now for some reason as soon as click on it then it does an ad and when that's over I click on either pics or videos and it does another ad and whet that one is done it brings up a whole screen to download TikTok and won't let me X out of it so when I got the back button it does another ad and it won't let me see anything none of my pics and videos and I don't have them anywhere else and I'm pissed! This app is one of the worst I’ve ever used. It crashes constantly, takes forever to load, and is filled with annoying ads that pop up every few seconds. Too many ads, full page TikTok with no way to remove so app would not even open. Also, it asks a bunch of questions on opening, same ones EVERY TIME. Garbage app with no retention of photos if you have to reset (at least as far as I know since I cannot even open it but it had me choose a new password so that isn't good).

I can't open it in the photos and videos itself because it always shows black. I updated it but it's like that. It should be fixed because my important files are there. This is a good app in the beginning but then it starts glitching and won't even let your in to see your photos. And when you delete the app it takes your photos with it so all of your photos or videos are gone. And it has way to many adds for a "Calculator". The most useless app if you want to lose your photo files then download this😭😭. I kept all my important photo files locked in it, when I recovered it, out of my 383 photos, only 166 were there.I am getting so many adds in this app that earlier my app was not opening even when I recovered it.I don't know where the remaining photos were located, now you are not even opening them.

This the worst App I've ever seen, it stops working instantly. To all those using this App and wont your Videos and Pictures back, just search for my Files in your App menu and search for Calculator, you will see Calculator open it and you will see all your videos and pictures. Mark all of them and move them into a another folder on your phone. Try this and thank me later, I try and it works for me perfectly.

I've actually had this app on my phones for many years, had always liked it. But now, I just downloaded onto my new phone, and there are so many pop ups, ads, you couldn't even use the calculator anymore. Before, the calculator was actually usable. Now, I had spent awhile fiddling with it, attempting to put in some photos. But with so many ads, I literally couldn't even get to the part to put in photos. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I was just having to sift through & close ads & videos. A great app ruined.

Okay being completely honest it does it's job well but it's not good if you wanna seamlessly hide stuff. The app constantly asks what language you speak every time you try and open it and then you get hit with so many adds. I was just trying to type in an equation and an add popped up right under my fingers. Then there's a constant looming add under the keypad. So right off the bat that's 2 red flags that would get anyone questioning cuz no normal calculator has adds. Shortened: adds ruin hiding

It does it's job, has a notes app and foulder for plenty of things but the ads are a serious problem. One plays when you open the app so it makes it obvious that it's not just a normal calculator, and it keeps repeatedly asking what language to set it to evey time i open it, and lastly it doesn't store images in any order and doesn't let you rearrange them. It pretty much only works as long as nobody clicks on it

Very useful but in some cases it doesn't completely hide all your photos and videos.In some Photo printing apps it still displays the photos you've already hide and you can't do much,hidden photos will still be displayed in some other apps that has access to your files so I deducted 2 stars I may change it if it is fixed soon 😽

The adds make this app dangerous not only popping up after every 7-15sec but also audio add you cant skip if this app was truly designed for dv they have forgotten how volatile it can be forgotten that 15 seconds could mean the difference between life or death I know this sound dramatic though monetizing off of domestic violence with an apps that puts people in risk yes I appreciate it is free to download but is it really free if it puts its consumer's in harm. I love this, this is very functionable when you have strict parents that go through your phone, plus it deletes the photos (etc) so that they can't see them. but one thing I don't like is that there are a lot of ads. It just blows the cover that it can very a real calculator because obviously on the parents phone their calculator app does not have so many ads. So please try to remove some ads.

I lost all the important picture and videos. I didn't uninstall it or anything, it just disappeared. I'm disappointed in this app, because of this I lost important files. I trusted the reviews since there are many positive reviews, but I guess don't trust easily. I hope this bug will be fixed. And for people wanting to download this app, you may lose your files here.

Nice! It really works well. There is one minor problem, though. While opening the app, it asks to select a language. I like that fact. But if I pick a language (like English) at the beginning of the app but try to change it to another (like Italian) from the settings of the app, it says that the language has changed - it even restarts the app - but it doesn't really change the language (to Italian). Also, isn't it suspicious that a 'calculator' asks for language before starting?

I don't even want to give it a one star. first of all they are giving too many ads and when I switched off my tab and then after when I opened the app it wasn't working right. when I typed the password on it, it wasn't opening my photos are in that freaking app and the problem is it isn't opening . It's too obnoxious with the ads. I don't mind ads. Gotta make their money sonehow. But not when it interferes with using the app. There were so many I got sick of it before I even got to use the app and they were the kind of ads that try to trick you into clicking them by disguising as part of the app.

It works well... I've used it for a few years. I like it as an option to the standard included Secure Folder that everyone knows exists; plus it actually functions as a working calculator. It took time to navigate the newer version, after having used the older version on my old phone, but I got it now. Or maybe it's just the difference between using a Pixel vs. my old Galaxy.

Its a good app, but there are 2 reasons it doesnt have full stars. First and foremost, you can only add one file at a time. You cant select more than one file, which makes adding files incredibly tedious, especially when theres an ad after basically every time you add a file, which is the second reason. I understand ads, but an ad after every file upload? Too much. Every couple files would be more reasonable. In summary, being able to multi-select files and sparser ads would be worth 5 stars

Very bad design. Ads on every page! Open app, ads on the bottom. Login with PIN, full screen video ad. Main menu, ad takes the entire upper half of the screen. And they're not even showing something that I might buy... You're better off watching a 1 hour ad compilation on YouTube than using this app.

A complete lie and absolutely pointless. For one, you do collect and share data. For two, the app does nothing more than create a folder and put the pictures there, nothing more. You can still open the folder with any file manager.

Right off the bat, the ads confuse you. Downloaded the app, first thing that comes up is an ad that appears to be part of the app, immediately takes you to their website. Go back, find the small "done" button and proceed. Very next screen, same exact thing. Promptly deleting this app.

It's a pretty decent app, It's disguised as a calculator that actually works. It's pretty easy to use although it doesn't let you hide apps like I expected it to, it also has too many ads like I get a add every time I save a picture, video etc but other then that it's great for hiding things you don't want other people to see and when you hide photos and stuff from your gallery it takes those out of your gallery and into the app 10/10 would recommend

The interface of the App is smooth. Very easy to select & save files into the App. But the Ads..uff too much. Can't even press the back button (Ads pop up as soon as u press it) Being a free App..an Ad at the beginning or end is Ok..but Ads at every step or touch is a bit too much. Before updation this app was really awesome but now it shows 'welcome to calculator lock' when i open the app which is not a good sign because every one can understand easily that this is a secure app not only a calculator although this is password protected. Before updation when i opened the file, it only showed the calculator. Kindly make it as it was before updation.

It is safe to use and works well. I've used it for almost 4 years at this point. Everyone who is saying it erases files is an idiot. The process is simple. You open the app after making a password and you click the plus icon on the bottom right. It then opens a window asking what type of files you want to open. Once you do that it then shows you your gallery and you choose what videos and photos to put in. Once you've selected your photos it also gives you the option to encrypt your photos.
