The app works alright, but doesn't make shopping at IKEA easier. The item locations are incorrect or the stock info is wrong. We've spent hours following the app to not find what we were looking for. Eventually, 15 minutes before closing time, app announced that the shop is closing and also is the app and erased the scanned items in basket. All in all, useless and a bit infuriating experience. btw. we managed to locate all the missing items with the help of staff in the shop 🤷🏻‍♂️

The "Track order" tab is not working.

I downloaded the app to plan the furniture for an empty room, and it was a frustrating experience from start to finish. You can only upload a single photo of your room, which already limits what you can do. Finding furniture is far worse than on the website – there isn’t even a size filter for tables. Placing furniture in the photo is where it really falls apart: there is no way to align items properly, no preview from another angle, etc. Feels like a toy, not a planning tool.

I'm not sure why, but the app won't let me log in anymore. I've tried multiple times, and it just says, "Unable to log you in."

First you instal the app, then you login, you confirm login and it successfully redirects you to login :D It is nice to have an app, but it should work. Ikea seems to be a nice place but it is not, it stands and falls with your employees satisfaction. Also you need to personally visit the place just to ask in person if they have a spare part since they do not share this info via email. Though they can spend time replying to emails why it is not possible.

The filter does not work; I chose maximum load and it shows there are only 8 items, but when I apply the filter, it shows thousands. It is so annoying. There is also no way from an item page to go to its category page; even when I find something via the broken search, I cannot check other similar items in that category.

boo. they accept payment for Emilio at the Swedish restaurant, claiming that it's open till 7pm but you get there and they say they closed at 6 and have to go to the returns area for refund. -- I love that the app can now take orders for IKEA Swedish Restaurant but it's poorly done, it only takes credit card type payment and you have to put on the entire number and expiration and security code and name every damn time. Would be so much better if it had PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay integrated

Tried ordering something to collect from a specific store. Why offer click&collect and not give the option to choose the store that works for you? The suggestion given by the app are super random with no option to change it to the store I want.

Has never worked for me on Google pixel 9 pro, always says unable to log in, tried clearing cache, using various both kiwi browser and chrome to try log in, always the same issue so never been able to redeem any points on purchases.

It's a nice app. Easy to use. I'm giving four and not five stars because one time, last week to be exact, I was shopping at Ikea trying to find in the warehouse in which aisle were the items I wanted to buy and the app would show me the map but didn't tell me which aisle or any other clue where to find the items. My husband found the info in the website. I was mad that the app couldn't help me. Today I want to buy other items and the app showed me the aisle where to find them.

Ikea warranty repair ..... Beware! if you don't live in the city you will have to contact a repair company yourself then get approval before getting a quote for repair and will have to pay out of pocket and hopefully get money back. When purchasing the appliance we were assured of how good the warranty service was......just not about the limited areas for it.

Whenever I want to make a payment with my debit card, it doesn't go through and my phone restarts. Then I tried to order on the webpage, but when I go to my email for the authentication code and them back to the Ikea site, the site reloads and I would have to start all over again, making it an endless loop. So I have try on the laptop now.

doing online order is terrible. Twice I've made an order and twice they sent me an email the day of the delivery to tell me an item is out of stock, but they still shipped the reat. So I paid for the shipping, which is not cheap, to get only a part of my order. So now I have to make a new order to chose an alternative product and pay for shipping again. Customer service options need to improve. I received an order delivered to my address and one item was damaged. I went on the app to report it. App takes you to customer service link and link asks to download the app. Tried few times and eventually gave up on it.

Please stop invoking the browser for logging in. Provide login in your own app. Logging in with the browser becomes impossible when the browser is opened as either the email or message application has to also be opened for the otp. This leads to closing of the browser window and reload of your app making it impossible to login.

I have used some buggy apps over the years, and yet that's my first negative review. Because my time has never been so shamelessly wasted. What exactly is the point of a wishlist and notification function if I arrive promptly to pick an item up (after receiving a notification that it has been 'restocked') only to be told it's not there yet and to MAYBE try again TOMORROW?? As if I'd be willing to pay with my time again, because a multi-billion company can't figure out its logistics

Handy so far! Easy to log in, search products, and add products to lists. I'm impressed and super satisfied by the ease of use and thoughtful features. Some areas for improvement: 1) I'd love to be able to add notes to products in my lists, 2) I want shared lists to be dynamic—instead, they're a snapshot of the list at the exact time you shared it, and 3) I want my reviews all in one place and to be able to edit them. Point accrual is also super delayed.

Used it just now and got an error while trying to claim some points...The cashier does not also know why & suggested to restart the app. When I restarted the app, the points have been deducted already. I later on received emails with the QR code for the redeemed benefits. It would have helped if Instead of prompting an error, it should say qr has been sent to your email something like that.

Selling poor quality items online. Their Shipping charges are also very high. And for purchase return also you will have to pay Rs. 189 upto 5 kg weight in advance and also there's no guarantee that you will get back your refund or not. I paid ₹189 for a pickup service, but the pickup was only partially completed—just one item was collected—and there has been no response or resolution since then. I should not be charged for a service that has not been properly completed. I am requesting an immediate refund of the ₹189 pickup fee so that I can raise a fresh pickup request and have the remaining item collected. Please do not redirect me to generic FAQs.

App wipes out all of your scanned items while shopping in store after a set time. I've been in store shopping for two hours, everything is gone I have to re walk the entire showroom to get it back and find what I selected in the first place. Was logged into my account, had session open, nothing was cleared from cache, cookies, nothing. Just wiped out completely. I'm furious.

Implement an itinerary. You have the option to find the item in the store, but maybe it is a good idea to organize the sopping cart based on item location, and return an itinerary.

I strongly recommend avoiding purchases through the IKEA app because the return and refund process is extremely customer-unfriendly. The return process is unnecessarily tedious. IKEA does not refund the amount to your original payment method or bank account. Instead, the refund is credited to an IKEA Wallet, which has a one-year expiry. This means if you return a product, you are forced to purchase something else from IKEA in a year. But IKEA on Amazon has a different return / refund rules.

IKEA is a company that deceives its customers. The quality of many of its products is extremely poor. Every plant I have bought there has died after a short time. My latest plant started dying on the third day. Yet they refused to refund my money and refused to seriously deal with my complaint. Some products are already defective when you buy them. I'm having trouble connecting a Matter light bulb (IKEA KAJPLATS) to my DIRIGERA hub. I go through the entire setup process and everything looks fine — the app shows "Product connected." However, at the final step, when it tries to return to the home screen, it loads infinitely and never completes. Trash, like most modern apps. Thing is like a hundred megabytes just to be a shell around a webview. Then it says I can't log in and this is a known issue with some browsers. If it's a known issue, maybe you should fix it. Perhaps by hiring some Swedish programmers instead of outsourcing them to India.

Customer means very little. A female cashier in Bratislava ripped my receipt without warning, claiming it goes into some lottery. Her behavior made me panic and forget 16 small items on the register. I called the next day and neither operator (of 2) was willing to help. They can't check the cameras, and claim that €10 is too little to deal with. I will never feel joy from buying stuff here as I did before. I just asked for a bit of human approach and got the metaphorical middle finger.

Well the app is good for ideas and shopping, the reason for 1 star is the way you've hidden the loyalty QR code away, never to be found! Stood at the IKEA checkout and spent at least 5 minutes hunting for the QR code. Surely you make it the first thing as you log in? Complete lack of thought with the app design.

Unusable and annoying for planning, no clue why they advertise it as a planning tool. Can't change the room size, items appear facing random directions, item catalogue hard to navigate and filter, the rendering is glitching, going blank and flickering. Web version a bit more convinient.

Bought a Dirigera hub, grillplats smart plug and the remote to start. I connected to the hub, verified email, scanned QR code on the remote controller, it went through the steps to connect like "Generating Matter Credentials", but it gets stuck on the connecting to thread network step every time and fails to pair any smart devices. Same issue with the smart plug. I reset router, hub and my phone and gave separate SSID to 2.4GHz and 5Ghz networks but still fails to work at all. Disappointed.
