The thing is pretty cool. I wish I could learn more about myself and my brain from it. but there's not much for that in the app I mean yes, it has all the basic stuff. but I mean I wish it had some AI algorithms or something that would tell me more about how my brain works and every time you use it you need to clean it with hand sanitizer and your forehead with hand sanitizer and then it works flawless. it's just it needs more cool stuff in the app

Avoid the subscription as the company is not serious. Paid for one year, worked for 2 days and now they cannot restore anymore my purchase and don't respond to my email anymore.

Subscribed to flowtime, most of the programs do not work. Contacted them through the app and never received a response!

Trying to contact cs currently with an issue but I hold high hopes.

I've tried Muse, Sens.AI and now Flowtime. So far this is my preferred experience because it gives visibility into the details and seems pretty accurate.

yep it was horrible to get hooked up it wouldn't take the code they sent to my email I finally had to use my Google account to get signed in a very careful of look-alike websites that want to charge you money for the product got ripped off for $69 that way

Just received my headset and excited to test it out! The headset is nice and I am exploring the app. The free version works and offers a lot of data and programs. I was excited for the 7 day free trial to test all the additional metrics... But when I sign up for the trial, in small print is a note stating "You're not eligible for the free trial". Kinda schetchy, as the subscription is quite expensive!! Like 60 dollars yearly. Ain't gonna happen... NOT WITHOUT A FREE TRIAL...

Is it as bad as others have reviewed, yes, yes it is. I have the new Flowtime Tag and was excited when it arrived! and that changed quickly. I wanted it for sleep - so if you "try" to record your sleep - don't rotate your phone while it's recording your sleep before ending your session. Gone, never to be found again. As others have said, connection is flaky, so flaky. I have it not connect until I have tried up 7 times. Avoid Flowtime and the HW!

I supported the brain tag on Kickstarter. The tag doesn't turn on no matter how long it stays in the case when it take it out. The case is charged. I cannot redeem the membership, the app crashes when I click redeem. Plenty of buttons in the app don't do anything, lead to nowhere. Not even the submit button for the in app survey doesn't work. So disappointed...

1.When using the unguided mode with nature sounds, you cannot hear any sound. 2.The biofeedback thing simply doesn't work. I have tried setting both flow and coherence as metric but evn when the real time data shows I am in coherence or flow zone, the feedback sound doesn't come even though it is enabled and set. 3.There is consistent error of "poor or no signal" Consistently towards the end of the session. 4. Non existent support 5.And now, can't buy premium subscription, app hangs!!!

I used this app with the headband, happily for over a year. Suddenly, the app is no longer available for my device and the version that I had already downloaded no longer works even though it worked fine before.

Thing never worked in 2020 still don't! Loses connection while recording and just sits there doing nothing. They know issues but don't give a damn about fixing the problem 🙄. Get the muse 2 or Heartmath bio feedback devices. Don't waste money on this device!

Good quality headband, working well with Software on Android 14 phone.

Disappointing. There's a good reason they disabled the "rate the flowtime app" inside this app. Poor signal error 90% of the time. The most frustrating thing are all the wasted data collection attempts, and now I get "poor signal quality" anxiety. Ironic for a biofeedback device when it can't alert you to a "poor signal quality" situation. Update. I threw this POS in the trash and bought a muse 2. It actually works.

Just started with the headband and app. Had a little misconfiguration at first as I used the wrong strap and forgot my VPN was on. Everything, include customer service, has been fantastic. As I needed this for a combination of research and biofeedback, I am beyond impressed. There are a few ideas I have to help the app such as using AI to analyze the user's experience and potentially find clues to better apply the biofeedback. Other than additions, I must say, I AM AMAZED AND GRATEFUL!!!

How many downloads of the flowtime app says " note 20 " ?? Are they using my phone ?

Doesn't work. Connection is interrupted every single time I try to use it, which is very aggravating. Aggravation makes it impossible to relax or meditate. For me, meditation requires no interruptions. So needless to say, this device is not useful for meditation. This product really has no practical use. I want a refund. And I will not recommend this product to anyone.

This product is the best for medating for the( MASTERY).

Love it when it works. Frustrating when you are trying to get a relaxing meditation in and you end up with more stress because the app won't work. It's really cool when it does. Hopefully they get it fixed!

unstable, hanged several time and need to restart phone. need to pay for several of the services. however, the datas with its headband is amazing.

I love data and this is an amazing dataset to get to see. even if you only use it once in your life, it is an absolute must see.

Updated headband firmware and now the left and right hemisphere readings are identical. Luckily its still within its return period.

I can't login anymore. Server unavailable at start and at authentication. The logo changed, so, I think it's since the last major update. Otherwise, I liked the band and app when it was working.

New update crashes if pushed to background. If I minimize to switch over to another app, stops recording info, won't restart unless I uninstall and reinstall.

Ok the app works but you have to click on a button which says no devices connected yet???? Its menu is counter intuitive. Chang the wording to come back here after connecting device and change the button name to activate session. That should help people with the app. I studied Data science and I had trouble getting it to open properly. Great work otherwise...

Very awesome live streaming brainwave EEG app, heart-brain breathing coherence, meditation tool(with the Flowtime headband), and very robust after sessions report with minute by minute fluctuated values during one's session... it's not just for meditation you can wear the headband and record your brainwave activity anytime doing anything. The new app update with the added "Resonant Breathing" really boosted my breathing coherence numbers.

This band was fairly decent and useful until this last update. Now it is difficult to stay connected to BT, disconnects in the midst sessions and now it just hangs when loading session data from last use. You can't even get the data from the last session because the app gets stuck so you have to close it and of course when you reopen it your last session is gone. Fix the app. What a waste of money.

App keeps crashing. Still have not seen my data post meditation

I regret this purchase after only a month or so. It crashes more than not, I actually get results from about 1 out of every 3 uses. I am constantly having to force stop the app to use it. Getting the sensors to connect is a challenge, and getting them to stay connected during a meditation is even worse.

I Had problems downloading the app, it was not available in GooglePlay. Right and left brain activity is shown only during meditation, not recorded, distracting the meditation process and the information is lost at the end. Brain waves chart does not expand to allow panning when sessions are long (more than 100 min). App is too crowded, it could use better ways to display the data. The text used for explaining each session is boilerplate and does not provide specific results. Apr-27-22

I will be returning this product immediately: they REQUIRE a social media connection + GPS location. They are 1000% scraping data from customers. Digging in it looks like they also bait and switch by allowing you to use the app for a while without a login then locking it up (even with a reinstall) - I consider that to be extremely unethical. Also their response is that they need a 'name and photo' - no they don't, not at all.

Easy to use. I meditate with the Synctuition program & use unguided every time. The stats for brainwaves seems legit: when I'm visualizing in great detail Gamma is high; when focused on breathing awareness Theta is high; when not focused Beta is low. Like I said: legit. Breath coherence & relaxation stats are a great addition. Very happy with the app.

Why do I need a direct tie to Facebook with this app? I strongly dislike the loss of privacy. Do you have a non Facebook app? Facebook is NEVER private, how can you even imply this? Is there a way not to use facebook?

Incredible resource. The app provides excellent feedback. Most importantly, it provides a library/history of the charts, showing brainwaves, heat, breath over time.

been using flowtime for a few months not just for meditation but also for brain wave gamma theta monitoring. it's a great simple device. it's intuitive, easy, has some great free meditations and does a really good job in capturing brainwaves without needing a calibration session at every use like it's biggest more well known competitor. if you want to understand how meditation affects your brain I really recommend its use as part of biohacking/biosensing with other biofeedback devices. A***

I hooked up easily with my Google account and the app is stable on Android. I'm pretty pleased with the real time feedback and it is so light that it is barely noticeable. The tracking looks 👌 and it was pretty fun to see all the reporting.

Lots of great data for the price and easy to use. Includes eeg, hrv, hr and breath coherence. It's lightweight and connects quickly and reliably.

Not a good app - will not open as keeps crashing. Also, just a very basic meditation app, when it did briefly work I was not impressed by the content and very limited functionality with the headband. You can't do anything with the data it gathers and there is almost no useful information provided on how to use the data. You certainly don't want to be paying money for this every month, especially when it won't even open anymore. Headband is also just a 190 Euro lump of useless plastic now!

As of july 1 2030 the flowtime app is crashing. On june 30 the software functioned very well. 4+ stars The only prior issue had more to do with slow/overloaded com circuits. Noted that an update on june 28 may be the issue. Went to the Google store and could not find the flowtime s/w. I was going to try and reload it.
