thanks for releasing the app , for those who can't afford to send your children to animation colleges, this app is designed for your child if they want to be a animation creator . Not just for child, it's for everyone who want to make a animation

genuinely unusable if you don't want to pay money. every time you open the app you get trapped in a "playble" ad That immediately sends you to the app store if you so much as look at your screen too hard, ads that have no timer and can last upwards of a minute before it finally lets you out.

New update Really SUCK Once you click the DELETE button it already deleted it the app didn't ask

Severe color bug after the latest update! All video previews and exports get an unwanted green tint/overlay, ruining the colors while the original footage underneath remains visible. Please release a hotfix ASAP

As a kid, flipaclip was the go-to. It was friendly, yet janky. But, that's what made it charming. There were minimal fees. But, it had the onion skin tool for free and in color! Flipaclip used to be the free/cheap option for new or young artists and that's what made it special This isn't friendly for young artists wanting to start out on animation. The user interface is confusing and hard to manage. So many things are behind a paywall. It's still useable but it's genuinely disappointing.

its a very good app, I've been using it for years now, but in the newest update I dont really like how you can draw outside the canvas, I wish there was a toggle button to turn it off.

Absolutely hate the new update. it's impossible to work with and it has a bunch of stuff that doesn't work, please bring back the old ui (note: I know how it works, IT'S JUST ANNOYING)

at first I thought it was really hard to animate. but no, it just takes time. overall, great experience! 😃. sometimes it will skip some of the frames a draw. which are normally smear frames and makes my animations look choppy. other than that, I really appreciate this app! Also like Lucas Heeke said. WE NEED COOPERATION MODE.

btw you say you can import videos so I try and I can't even do that so what's the point of saying you can import videos and all that stuff and lie and don't even let me and plus it's annoying to use

the update freaking SUCKS

the new update is honestly horrendous. not only I had to adapt to the whole interface being changed and now being less comfortable, it also became impossible to copy multiple frames. sometimes it allows me to copy multiple items, but mostly it just copies a single item and I have to just keep trying until I lose my mind. there are no new tutorials that tell me what to do about this issue, so for my own sanity I won't be using flipaclip for now.

it's like one of my old apps and it's still here. I mean I love it and all but I'm not really into drawing a lot of frames. I wish you had like more tools like templates. I think you can do an update for the things I said. please do so. also thanks for not putting a bucket load of ads!

All I could see were Undo, Redo, Copy, Paste, Flip X, Flip Y, and Delete. The screen was just white, and I couldn't figure out how to start drawing. The controls were confusing, and I couldn't even get started with my animation. Please make the drawing tools easier to find and the interface more beginner-friendly.

This app I started using when I was 7, Im 12 now and want to say that this app is the reason I am an animator and it made me way better at art and animation, but here are some things I like to say, many people think its bad cuz of the excessive ads and I will agree. BUT there is a loophole, since the app is offline you can turn off your wifi and get 0 ads, this app is mainly for either users that use mobile and I recomend it for beginners, if you are a pro I dont think thats the one for you.

horrible. this new update/ui sucks. Everything is so laggy. when I make new frames it sometimes doesn't even show the last one, there's way more bugs but that was one of them. Ever since this new UI came out its been bad. Im used to the old one. I know the update took a long time but it still sucks. 😠

the new update could've been so good but it just crashes upon doing anything genuinely horrifying to use I'm in the middle of trying to animate something but cause I touch the screen it crashed I understand it's probably a new update so its bound to be buggy but it's very stressful as it's the only animation app I can use . and the ads are even worse I simply press play on my animation and I get an ad

IT LITERALLY GLITHCED. Like what..? How did that happen..? well I'll tell you. This app is trash, when I animate, I add a new frame and it disappears, IMMEDIATELY. It happens with drawing too, I paste a new frame, draw, and that part that I drew on disappears. it's just so annoying, please fix this, Flipaclip.

I enjoy the app immensely but am a little chived that it's not set up in a way that I can either buy a copy each for both my phone and tab or buy a subscription that covers several devices rather than switching the pro version backwards and forwards between my devices everytime I want to use it. otherwise it is pretty good.

it's very good and special for the animators. Add a recovery bin to recover the projects and add in both versions, Beta and Old.

I was exporting my animation then after exporting half of my project I went to another one to export again then suddenly e-45 something went wrong keeps popping up it was fine lately now I can't export half of my project what is the meaning of this?

It used to be good but it made me watch 2 ads to start my animation. Then while I was making animation I accidentally clicked the "X" which exited me out of the animation and it gave me 12 UNSKIPPABLE ADS AND WOULDN'T LET ME LEAVE THE APP!! Edit: The creator was quick to respond. And I'm not paying for a stupid subscription for an app that wouldn't let me animate nor view past animations until I bought a subscription. I get that "ads = money," but at least limit them to pop-ups or optional ads!!

Everything is great but I just have to say one thing... I cannot put my personal mp3 clips without needing ads and I usually have ad blockers on my devices except for my phone and I hate that it has to have ads because it's more of a time waster than anything. If you can change it to where you can place mp3 or personal audio files for free without the need for a subscription or ads... I would change it to a five stars. is there a way for you to make the subscription a one time payment?

used to use this a lot to make animations growing up, still use it occasionally now. My only issue is how the ads almost never work. When I watch an ad to be able to add audio, the ad ends up just looping endlessly or it doesn't let me add the audio afterwards. Sometimes when I do add the audio, even if it's a supported file type it might not pick up on it so I have to watch an ad again. really great animation program for beginners/mobile users.

I love FlipaClip! Please add moveable 3D models and human skeleton posture tools for rotoscoping in future updates. Models should rotate freely from any camera angle and move body parts. Please include rough models for different ages (kids, boys, girls, men, women, old) and animals like dogs. Also, kindly keep these features accessible via an ad-supported free option or a paid version, so every creator can choose what suits them best.

This is really great!! It's easy to use and understand, but I have one complaint, it's that whenever I make an animation with audio, once I log off and log back in, the audio will be out of sync, and I've tried A LOT of ways to fix it but it doesn't work... so plz fix it, and 5 stars from me!!

Lags a huge amount with audio on Android. Genuinely unusable. Audio scrubbing sounds terrible now and doesn't work the way it did before. It plays the same second on loop and it sounds horrible. The app has become actually unusable and this just keeps happening.

everytime I click that plus button to make s new frame my layer fade alot in frame 2 then disappear completely in frame 3, not recommend

Happy about the new announcements! Though adding more features is making the interface feel cluttered for mobile users like me, even when organizing the icons. It would be helpful if animators had a more flexible customization editor. Ex: Allowing us to hide buttons we rarely use would clean up the workspace and make the app much friendlier for left-handed users. You could add the same feature where the canvas expands further out to give us room on the old version. Thank you Flipaclip team!

Ok I used to like this, but they just ruined it by first of all changing up all of the GUI which was completely unnecessary like I don't know why everything I use has to update their GUI when the old one was perfectly fine and ruin my muscle memory and secondly because scrolling through frames causes the audio to become incredibly choppy when it also used to be fine. I already struggle to find motivation to animate but now I'm debating quitting. So thanks.

Good for animating but the new update makes it impossible to upload videos. It never uploads the entire thing, and it's super annoying. edit: I figured out I can go into legacy then convert the project into new flipaclip, so I guess it's fine now...

so i'm an animator who liked to use flipaclip around 2021-2024, and this is the worst update. when i try to import videos (which prior to the newest update didn't need the plus version) it makes me either buy the plus version (which is £3.99 a month or £5.99 per year) or watch an advertisment. whenever you pick the watch an ad option, it doesn't even import the video.

I'm not saying I don't love the new update, I absolutely love that they finally changed the UI and the tools etc. but now it's a bit hard for me to animate because I'm always used to the old flipaclip tools and the UI.

I love this app and it is amazing but ever since that update happened I wasn't really used to it as I only used the older version of Flipaclip. I understand that this is a new update and things are just confusing. The lasso tool not having a bin but the bin is at the bottom of the screen, please bring the old version of flipaclip back.

I miss the old FlipaClip, we need it back :( The new looks and updates just confuse me and it really ruins my motivation to animate, though I've wanted to animate for very long but then came back to the new controls and didn't do as intended.

I had to watch FOUR ads just to import a video into this stupid app, AND IT STILL DIDN'T IMPORT. This was all I wanted to use the app for, and it didn't even work.

I don't like that when you open it they force you into a trial with automatic subscription. Initially I forgot to even try the app, or cancel it, in time (because reminders don't work half the time on my stupid Samsung phone). They did refund me after I finally found where to do it, now. I SHOULD KNOW TO *NEVER* SIGN UP FOR A TRIAL WITH AUTOMATIC SUBSCRIPTION. It ALWAYS feels shady. Luckily the app is still showing a subscription so I finally got to try it. looks interesting so far BUT NOT CHEAP

the app is great for beginners, and it has great animations and I really like the gradiental color are cute especially pastel if you want to make a text base or a draw based one use this app.

Flipaclip Team, if you are seeing this review, I love this app. The reason I gave it a four star is because the UI is TOO DANG COMPLICATED!!! Please update the UI to be simpler, like legacy V1! I am unable to get used to it, and I had to switch to the legacy V1 option. Please update the UI to have a bit more simplicity.

ive been using flipaclip for over 3 years and it was bad enough when they switched to watching 1 add for unlimited layers to WATCHING 3 ADDS PER NEW LAYER OR FOR ADDING ONE AUDIO not to mention I havent rlly animated in a month and I open the app and see this new layout thats super confusing and u cant even edit audio like u used to then theres the fact moving with the frames makes the audio sound REALLY choppy and hard to understand all im asking is to add an option to switch to the old UI.

I guess I shall used to this app I use this before when I was a kid so I give 5 star

I loved the old version from 2022. well just the layout. I finally mesmerized where the layer, undo, redo, copy and paste button is and then a month later the layout changes and I have to rememerize. can you add an option to change it to a more simple like a 2022 style. I did have premium back then in 2022 but early 2024 my iPad factory reset itself and my flipaclip animations as long with my premium can you add accounts so you can recover old work or put it on other devices?

Please add the ability to key out colors. With flipaclip members able to key out any colors and Non members are only able to key out white and green And it only affects one layer, so you could have a layer behind it with a cool BG

why can't my projects run across multiple devices automatically despite being on the same account? and why don't the reward ads work on the ipad? you could at least put a function where I get a limited daily limit if it can't work? we shouldn't have to pay a subscription to put in a single audio.

GOD it was painful. the animation I've been working on keeps on crashing EVERY SINGLE TIME I LOAD INTO IT, and the fact that every since that the whole entire APP has been going insane. Now don't get me wrong, it's very good for animation and stuff, but god DAMN is it painful (off me at least)
