This is a really good app even for non-pro like me since I wanted to create a floor plan for a compact dream house. Quick and easy to use, but I'm hoping there's an option to type the measurements of everything. Another thing, I wish there will be more free furnitures because I'm looking for a table for a dining area and there's none😅... Overall though, this one is highly recommended.

free to download and play with. HOWEVER you cant change the size of the walls for the pre-done layouts, door, or items that you place, that option is for the paid version. essentially this is useless without paying

Problems I noticed, (don't know if it's a user error or just problems with the app). First, it won't let me make precise measurements. I was trying to make it 13 ft, it was 12.25 or 13.15. It also doesn't let you type in the measurements. In 3D viewing point, you can't properly view everything and it feels more like the camera is stuck in one point and it's just zooming in and out around its surroundings, rather than you actually get to see everything.

not well done. clunky to use, no ability to enter dimensions. everything done by dragging.

Glitchy as anything, doesn't work as described at all. much better free versions available

I was excited try this, Paid for 1 month to test out the features. Unfortunately, it's SO glitchy. I had furniture scattered all over that couldn't be manipulated or deleted once selected. Functional items were difficult to select when placed close to one another. Resizing items caused the entire field of view to pan around as you slide the sizing meter. You can't manipulate items in any view other than 2D, so adding wall art is a crapshoot. No custom room shape feature. Needs major work...

Excellent app for builders who want their clients to see their vision before the building begins, which allows for all the clients changes to be made before the first name. I know very little about computers or technology but this app was definitely designed to be extremely user friendly.

i don't get you people I literally download this game it is good but why do I have to buy the pro version isn't it suppose to be free with all features,But U do love the game ❤️❤️❤️❤️4 hearts only last thing what's the point of putting stairs if they don't go anywhere

I love this app so much,There is so much to do and its very fun to design your home and move things around I honestly do not regret this app.And if you are looking for a fun app I fully suggest this app.

Tried many, this works the best for me. windows, Linux, and android, I can share the same file across all platforms.

I'm absolutely loving this new app I just got. The only thing I wish it would let me do is Type the measurements in so they can be exact! other than that I love it, great work design team!

Unintuitive, couldn't even figure out how to change the room size. Went to restart and looking at the file menu, seems you can't even save without the paid for version.

so far so good. but more free design would be nice but it's good!! im using it in a way it's not made for....but it'll work!! im trying to design a Hand rail from kitchen to living room.

This app is supper glitch, not to mention you basically have to get premium or you can even get carpet. I thought it wouldn't have adds but just like every other one that I've ever had have adds. DO NOT RECEMOND!!!

Unfortunately this app isn't suitable for any kind of serious design. The base unit is in meters, and when resizing an object the increment is 0.05m at a time. Five centimeters! That's insane. No usable plan can be drawn with such a colossal margin of error. Your base unit should be millimeters, and any resizing should be 1mm at a time. Furthermore, it would be much faster and accurate to simply tap and type the desired length or angle, rather than drag-and-dropping.

Paid for full pro version, money taken and still wont allow me to use the paid for features. Just says open app to use. Full of technical issues, built for a computer not a phone

These reviews must be lies because I used it for five minutes and got frustrated with the mechanics glitching. Tried to line a set of stairs up and once it would hit a straight 180 degree, it would start spinning and glitching out nonstop. Using the buttons to adjust sizing would ALSO move the map so the entire screen would shift. Placing a door was impossible. Overall it was more frustrating frankly, like the OG Assassin's Creed games where you'd spontaneously jump off walls.

Best app to use when you want to draw your own house. I recommend downloading SHD. This is working well for the purpose for which I downloaded this apps for.

I could not figure out how to resize rooms. Read their PDF manual. Long pressed, double tapped, clicked through every menu. No idea how to do it. Pretty pointless without that feature. Also, have to pay to save it even if you figure it out.

This app is wonderful app. I want make a plan for our home. I downloaded many apps but I can't make a plan. Those apps wanted money for make a plan. But this app is awesome.

I'm not sure how others are saying "easy to use", it honestly very annoying. You drag an item and there is no way you can precisely adjust its dimensions to let's say 10 feet, it stop1s at either 10.12 or 9.85, if somebody is telling my there is a way to do it from some invisible setting button that is not easily accessible to the user, then it's the dumbest app!

I love this application, need to add few more features Every thing works best but only I couldn't find copy and paste.

It could be easier to size.. every thing is so small... But other than that...it's free & no stupid adds constantly, so thanks.. also You should make it so people get more goodies by the hours they are on this... Just saying ✌🏼✌🏽✌🏽✌️✌🏾

It looks like a great setup and it is very easy to optimize our future paln homes as our comfort But we still need onething just like fridge,washing machines,telivisions,etc,etc.

Tried using the app on my tab after switching to pro and the app would not restore my purchase. Does this mean I need to pay for pro on each device?

good app for minor drawings but a lot is missing...style, shortage of window designs. cannot save

2 star bc it looks nice and theres no back button for oopsies and the wall/room subscreen gets stuck on the screen and never goes away and also the ft metric will hardly ever let you get a even footage ends up on .13 or .97. Will delete and try a different app.

this app have many things such as furniture,kitchen,bedroom,bathroom,etc.And then,i can do my best by this app.I can contruct with my style.This app is the best I've ever used.So,I like the most.

Really poor, no editing or control over the walls. Cannot define measurements so it's pot luck on the sliding scale. Poorly created in a hurry.

The pieces of furniture get frozen and I can't delete or move them anywhere! So annoying!! Is not worth paying for it

Excellent work but some important eq are missing like curved wall ,manual calculation enterence ,geysers, exhaust fan etc rest very good like it very much

It's so hard to navigate. When you create a floor plan and wants to view its layout, you would figure out how you can find the floor plan you created because the app will just show you the whole floor and you would spend your time finding that floor you created. Too expensive for the app, but nit worth it.

Terrible. Nothing snaps together. You can't put in the sizes of anything so you have to just pull the walls and can't get exact measurements. They don't even let you have a toilet or sink in the free version. Uninstalling

Ok but it's not free. Costs just to save never mind unlock extra features.

different type of game not many options for furniture, could ad least have basic utilities and full rooms of basic not fancy furniture. Dis appointed that i cant decorate whole house with basic things for all rooms

This app is great when it comes to creating floor plans, it had many options and functions as well as great UI. My main problem with it is the fact that before you can even save any project though have to pay 6 dollars. I wad making a floor plan when my app crashed(Not the apps fault), and because I didn't pay I lost everything, but excluding that although you don't have access to all furniture without paying that fee besides that the app is very good.

It's not bad but there are some issues and the seems to be no way of saving anything so every time I get out of the app everything is reseted to blank again.

Nice app...easy for beginners or not a professional designer. I hope it has more free options for wall, door, window, floor tile, and plant.

Not very intuitive or user friendly. If you're used to BIM or AutoDesk it really doesn't work as fluidly as anything semi professional.

Simple to use, basic features but good for a general design plan. Somerton I can utilize to plan limited space and verify room size and capability.

It was great just the broblom was when you try to click on the picture you want it is different from the picture when you click on it so it's kind of frustrating so I would rate this 3 out of 5

the worst app I've ever used, only few items available for the free version, wasted my time 😕, you should mention it before the downloading that its paid or not so that we couldn't waste our time and data for your stupid softwares..

The app is great. It just needs some few items like some furnitures such as book, vase and also car and appliances.

Such a great app to use in floor design but it's a shame that the saving option is a pro- you got to pay.

Can't input precise wall lengths. Not enough furniture options available in the trial version to evaluate whether it's worth it to upgrade to the paid version.

Its pretty good. I like designing houses for fun. my only problem is that alot of the options are closed off and require a 5.99$ monthly payment to be able to use. Overall a pretty good designing software though

Good app but not that fast to work with... My recommendation 1. Put a snap when connecting walls to leave no gaps. 2. Make walls and doors dimensions editable not just stretchable. Typing dimensions is easier than dragging it to the desired dimensions. 3. Make a fix 90° rotation for the walls just like the door. 4. Make the components be drag by touch when adding a new component so that it will not be falling everywhere. 5. Add flooring , plants , slabs, and paint. 6. Add layers for 2nd floor

It's great but what's frustrating is that for you to use other furniture you need to pay but overall its decent

Controls are rubbish, performance is rubbish and it's designed in a way to make you spend money left right and center. If it worked properly maybe it be worth it but not for this mess.

Great app. 4 stars due to most kitchen items being locked under premium, and the lack of washing machines and dryers

Very frustrating, the concept is great but the execution is not. Expecting to have basic functionality was too much. Can't resize a room in an obvious way, adding things to the room wasn't working either. I ended up having a door just sitting in the void and couldn't select it. 10/10 do not recommend

Bought a new hobby barn, but a bad accident makes it impossible to get out there. So for the meantime I'm using this to aleve my impatience to get out there and create my new space. Seems like it's helping.

Looks like a great setup so far a little complicated because you don't know what each button represents til u click on it. Then u have to erase selections u didn't want to!!!! So, it would be nice for a description to be listed on popup when you hover over selection. Instead of having no idea what you are selecting and what it is suppose to accomplish. Very frustrating; but seems to be an easy fix

Not enough door or window styles to choose from but okay to give an idea of what you are designing.

This is a wonderful app, I would have given it 5star but it doesn't have a back option to clear off mistakes because some of the small furnitures hang at a point and stop moving.

Works great for a rough draft. Could us a little finer adjustment for dimensions.

Not useful. No measuring tape. Very difficult to add a division wall in the existing room. Entire room doesn't acts as one unit, every window wall even after adding to the room moves independently. No undo button.

couldn't figure out how to use it. Not user friendly at all. Getting rid off it now. Seems to be using too much of phones battery and processing power as phone got heated up real quick right after installing and trying to use this app. And yes-nothing's wrong with my phone.

fun but not a lot of options to choose from and i love designing for fun so i think its a good app just for that but only limited options.

This app is really good, but u have to buy most of the items and unlock them.

Great produce for a free product. It's decent in mechanics that I was able to pick up on in the 2D view. I could use a tutorial for movement in the 3D view. I am considering paying for the full version so I can save, and access the full furniture library.

There's no way to set wall lengths manually. The drag method is not precise.

Good for basic layout. Need more tools to put 2nd floor, garage, porch, etc.

Cant load on other device, paid app only able to use on one device. Can look into this in the future are i work on multiple device.

Jus a demo app to fiddle around until you buy the pro version! Cannot save ur work unless upgrade, also has too many ads in between ur work as well. Rest is good. Hence a star! Cheerz

It's a nice cad app. The more you play (practice) with it, easier you get to grab (understand) it. I really enjoy expanding my idea using this app. It's helpful, trust me! Let me recommend one thing to the developer(s): Please develop every component of the roof for more beauty and obtain my 5⭐...

Doesn't save if you have to leave project for a few minutes. The app will restart and even though you have the option to name your project you don't get to keep the project itself. Waste of time.

This app is just a ok ok app like yes i can make designs with it but alot of things are locked and you have to buy pro version to unlock them second thing that you can't save your work and third that it hangs a lot but as a beginner who is trying to design it's a normal app but i don't really recommend cause it's just simple

Actually it's really nice and easy apps. If you have problems resizing, dragging and moving objects with finger, you can use stylus for better accuration.

Very very bad, i cant customise my room measurements! It is a basic thing to do!!! How could u put only standard layouts !!!! Not recommended at allllllll

Reminds me of my PC Sketchit software, it's perfect.now I have to design my ideas through my phone anywhere I go whenever I get inspired.

Too many items. Mainly TV and monitors. That I set down and can't edit. So they are stuck there

Not worth getting unless you pay for pro version. A tiny amount of furniture to use unless you buy the pro version. laggy and glitchy. Can't even save your work for the free version!

Not user friendly. In three minutes I couldn't change the measurements from the ones that were already provided for me. Did everything but couldn't figure out how to put my measurements. Deleting

good app to use in the future but currently really anoying to use. When i add a door the walls from other rooms go really wierd and its also hard using rooms as well.

Ads cover the tool bar at the bottom of the screen, can't move tool bar or ad bar. Useless.

First app that I'm tempted to purchase a pro pack but doesn't seem to have a lot of things to add. I would personally like to see additional products

Terrible app. Can't edit wall lengths easily and can't at all for preloaded rooms. Screen moves everytime you try to adjust a wall length that's actually editable. Can't select measurements and type the exact number you want, you have to drag it back and forth until you get the exact number. Trying to use an image for reference is impossible as the crosshair is all the way to the right of the screen and you can't pan over to it or zoom anything in that mode. Such a frustrating and useless app.

Very limited functionality of the unpaid version and quite buggy. Difficult to work with. It would be nice if it allowed entering numbers rather than having to drag to resize rooms.

Great app if you want to design something for free and not save it, otherwise you have to make a purchase. It's nice enough for a quick on the fly design or if you are bored.

This is so cool! I have been wanting a game where I can freely design a home for fun, and this is it. I wish I could use more stuff without buying it but it's ok.

Lots of glitches. You add a door and suddenly there's a wall outside the room, etc. Aside from the frustration, it's fun.

Lack of precise room messurments is a real killer. Or at least the lack of communicating said tools. I was excited to jump in.. bit the measuring tools are not for rooms. Wish I could just type the dimensions in.

Love it and I'm enjoying designing houses even though I'm not a pro. Another great app by unity. Is there an option to make houses with 2 floors, I couldn’t find it.

Has potential, but highly annoying in current state. Keep having walls and more, stuck on other walls or object. No way to get them to move. Or no way to select something 'below' another object. Often get frozen parts, where something is selected but unselect when selected another thing. Spend an hour, couldn't get beyond a square room with 2 little walls and a door, just because of the many bugs. Disappointing, was hoping to have finally found a working app for simple room planning.

The game is great but l hate that you must pay to save and you have to pay to put a TV but it is the best game i play thank you

Why even list this this app as free when you have to buy the full version to save what you've created. Pointless.

Once you place walls. You can't edit half of them and have to restart your whole project. Completely unusable. I want my money for pro version back.

Very good app only problem is that you have to buy a pro member ship to unlock a lot of other things.

It gives you a room, and you can't change the size. I download apps like this to help myself plan home renovations. How can I do that if I can't make the rooms the same size as the ones in my house? I uninstalled it about 2 minutes after installing it, and it was a waste of 2 minutes.

I just started using Smart Home Design and it is awesome. And so easy to use. Harf to believe its freee.
