Recent updates have messed up Search function ability. Can't find files and data except exact full name of file is searched. Please fix it. Please add ability to select all and delete files from recycle bin, i.e. Deleted folder, thru phone app. Then, I would give 5 star.

Camera / photo upload sync is not working and hasn't for a while...

Dropbox is driving me crazy trying to sign in and it's a total failure. You think you can manipulate people for two lousy GB of storage, you're dead wrong. Shame on you!

Don't use this app. Even if you sign up for the trial, you can't get the app or subscription uninstalled or deleted.

I would not recommend this app for confidential information. Seems like whatever you store in here everybody finds out about it within 10 minutes.

I cannot find this app and need to remove the app and get a refund. I cannot find the drop box

It used to remember my most recent folder, and when I wanted to upload multiple files into one folder, I could send them right in a row to one folder. Now with every file upload, I have to navigate to the folder I want. This is way more tedious.

Impossible d'accéder au compte suite à la perte de mon second facteur d'authentification (téléphone brisé). Bien que je possède le mot de passe et l'accès exclusif à l'adresse e-mail d'origine, le support refuse l'accès ou la fermeture et exige l'envoi d'une pièce d'identité et de justificatifs personnels — des documents jamais requis à l'inscription. Un blocage administratif disproportionné qui m'empêche de renouveler ce mot de passe ou de fermer définitivement le compte. Très décevant.

deleting duplicates is extremely tedious. i could not find a way to delete all duplicates at once like other apps.

I am so disappointed that this was not spelled out clearly in the privacy policy but was instead tucked away in the FAQs. Good and does what is supposed to but one big problem. Dear Dropbox - please can you fix the app so that it's more efficient on storage. While using over time it takes up more and more space until it's using up multiple gigabytes and the memory it's using can't be freed by deleting the cache or data via phone settings. It's fixable but only by actually uninstalling and then reinstalling which is a workaround that shouldn't be necessary.

Dropbox is awesome!!! Clean smooth gui never any problems and I've been using it for years.

The latest version of the dropbox app keeps freezing every time I press any of the upload buttons. The only thing still working is opening a filemanager app on my phone and select every file seperately and choose share this app with ... and select the dropbox app. But that is very time consuming. Please fix the upload functionalities for files and pictures/videos in the app itself.

Login via Website send an email to enter a code to verify the identity. Afterwards the app send an email to reset the password. The email triggered another email to reset the password. So many unnecessary steps.

Had this app for years and they continued to sync my property (photos, documents) beyond my maximum storage allowance. Then they block much access whilst continued threats of deletions if don't pay for extra storage. Why continue to sync beyond my storage allowance? Poor show. Everything thing with Dropbox comes across as underlying threat... "Reviews are public and include your account and device info"!! Well please do share my negative review! (Bet this doesn't get shown...)

I have 2 accounts, one is fine, the other is way too aggressive: Dropbox emails me constantly, I unsubscribe, they email anyway. I go to account settings and turn off all notifications, they email anyway. At every turn I'm encouraged to do their free trial, when I try to, they ask for card info, like I'm gonna fall for that. But with no way of turning these annoyances off, I'm looking for alternatives.

Too much nagging to go pro, which is ridiculously expensive for someone using it only once in a few months. This is where we say goodbye.

Can't find how to cancel drop boc subscription

Paid for 2TB Premium and made a shared folder for photos, but when others upload, it uses THEIR storage, not mine. I own the folder and pay for the space, so it makes no sense. Useless for group photo sharing. Fix this.

The system is not very user-friendly and can be quite complicated to use. I’ve been using it for office purposes for a few years, and everything worked fine initially. However, it now requires payment, and after switching to my personal email, I’ve been having trouble logging in on a new device. Overall, the experience has become quite frustrating and inconvenient.

you cannot sync to personal accounts you cannot merge two personal accounts and you can't merge a computer in a cell phone if one of the computer or cell phones have already downloaded the Dropbox app. I have two accounts and I backed up all my Dropbox photos to One account that hasn't any storage and they were backed up to the wrong account or merge. Dropbox is now deleted all my pictures so I'm Missing Years of pictures because of this snafu or fubar or just stupidity. I wish I had never chose

There are other apps that make things much simpler, so why not learn from them and improve the user experience? Please make it easier for your long-time users.

I've been using their basic paid plan this for, idek, 7 years? And I still haven't managed to fill it up. I do love this service and find it very worth the money--for the most part. Unfortunately the only customer service is a rotten AI bot, so you'd better be able to solve all the problems yourself. I just had a bad scare that I did figure out and resolve, but it was a bad 20 minutes of thinking I'd lost a bunch of files and no one would help me.

This app is very good

The app is horrible. I am paying customer for over a decade and now I am locked out from my dropbox Android app. I can not log in, only option to log in is via 2FA, but system is not sending SMS at all (from my PC it does), I can't use it for my work for weeks, Support is responding but with useless advices. When I try to log in to app, it after 2-3 attempts to resend 2FA code locks me out with "too many attempts" or "dbx error" notifications. No other option to log in even using my PC app.

I have been using Dropbox on and off for at least 12 years now. I was always bothered that it offered a 2 TB plan for a ridiculous price of ₹999 a month. I need neither that big of a storage nor am I going to pay the stupid price, which is equal to an entry-level guy's monthly salary. And now I see a worse plan. It now costs ₹699 a month for 500 GB storage. That is nearly double of what Open AI charges to use ChatGPT Go. Google Drive FTW! I mean it is not even greed at this point. It's avarice.

Cannot load folders with thousands of files. Also when using search and clicking on said folder, loading bar appears but one cannot exit it/leave it without shutting the app down.

I've struggled the past year with dropbox, had it for 10 years but it's continuing to log me out on my phone, leading to disruptions in my backups and workflow. now I'm trying to sign in and the entire app is hanging. I've uninstalled and reinstalled a few times now and the app is clearly broken. guess it's time to migrate to Google photos.

It's... alright. Dropbox on desktop is great, but the mobile app has some pretty bad issues that result in conflicting or even corrupted files if you switch to another file or app while you have one open for editing.

I have lost all of my saved information on my Drop Box account that I had for years. I would not trust this company with your saved documents or pictures. There is no feature to recover your lost information that I could find.

Account recovery becomes a dead end when you lose your 2FA phone/number. Dropbox may be secure, but its account recovery process can become completely useless when you lose access to the phone number used for 2FA and that number can no longer be recovered. In my case, I know my account and password, but I can no longer receive the 2FA code. I contacted Dropbox Support expecting some form of account ownership verification, but it was a dead end.

Dropbox is auto installing on my Chromebook without permission, even though I keep uninstalling. I think it is a remote provision attack! Please remove your app from the Android 17 app store! I honestly beg you! :(

I like Dropbox but the app is no good. My desktop asks me to verify with my device. I click yes each time and nothing happens.

I cannot seem to access the deleted files from the app, only the web page access, so I have to log in elsewhere to permanently delete files. Unacceptrable. It keeps trying to lead me around by the nose to upload pictures, seet up automatic backup of my pictures.... no. Unacceptable. Everything about this app gets in my way, and obscures what I loggted in to do. For me, useless.
