Downloaded the app but when I try to open it there's an issue and it tells me to retry. When I retry it just keeps telling me that. The app is useless if it won't even open.

for the most part the prices come up accurate. I find it odd that I can scan something but it says that that product is not sold in the store.

It's great. You can see what they have on sale every week and don't have to worry about missing a sale.

I had to log out because my account was acting funny and then tells me I need to wait 20 minutes because it was locked? I don't understand and this isn't the first time but there is just to many issues.

can't log into my account because there's apparently an account already made?? tried logging in but adding my phone number tells me that it's being used on another account????? who the hell is using my phone number. tried to use textnow to try and bypass this and the number I used just wouldn't work. terrible app...

Store #7671 Store manager comes to work with a bonnet on! Her n the crew stay outside smoking all day! Besides the store being FLITHY, and dangerous Hazard. The employees always RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, SMART MOUTH that NEVER greet nor give Thanks! Cram food with chemical items in the bag and get Mad when you rebag!! Saying that's all the bags she got. a suggestion. some grocery store apps, when you scan the food product, it will tell you if it's food stamps eligible. I think y'all should add that feature to this app as well

when I try to switch the store to find item availability, the app can't find any stores nearby when there are plenty

Helpful when it works. I like that it keeps my order history but can be very slow to add it to account or sometimes not added at all. It's still better to have it, then not to have it.

Frequently shows incorrect prices, and as of recent has been missing advertised deals as well. Straight up false advertising.

my coupons never let me clip or never come off like they are supposed to. I have emailed the customer service email and never get a response back

App REQUIRES your location just to use the search bar. otherwise it wants you to email customer support. I just needed to price check something. I'm getting tired of this company, along with your cell phone signal blockers in your stores. Trying to force people to use your restricted and monitored WIFI which can be used to see and process data so much on someone's phone. I'm not stupid, and I will catch on to these schemes and call them out.

I like this app but one thing I don't like is you can't unclip a clipped coupon, even when they're accidental.

You want us to use your app (which I think it's clear you really don't want us to use it) yet our cell phone gets virtually no service in your stores and you provide zero public wifi. Make it make sense.... it's because you truly don't want us to use it and get those discounts...

Service is horrific! Food is stale. They sell frozen items eg: ice cream that's melted, before & frozen again! Never answer phone, ever! Store is dirty, unkept! Items to be stocked,all over! This is the dg store on Main St., Harrisburg ,IL. Needs to be closed down & keep the other 2stores open!!!

I'm used to BoGos which I'm used too but the deals there had me confused until I saw asked the manager to explain why if I buy 5 items I get $1 off and the apply coupon

the delivery deal is super. I don't have a way to go get anything... so delivery is awesome

This app constantly glitches. half the time I can't get it to even open. It will have the loading screen but won't go any further. I've uninstalled and re downloaded multiple times without results. The savings and discounts would be great to use if I was able to get to them to add/clip or apply to my account.

The store is close by and carries items I use and the manager is very nice and helpful

The search function is next to USELESS. You have to type AND select from its drop down recommendations based off what you type. If you just type and hit enter, you get ZERO for everything. "Milk," zero. "Dog treat," zero. "Clover Valley," zero. That's a pretty major issue that DG let into their app.

The app is virtually useless. Staff are not knowledgeable and have no initiative. Not enough employees usually only 1 person who can't do everything for the terrible pay. Does DG ever take notice of customers complaints, because nothing ever changes and it's been like that for years.

Have only used it to see if they have something I'm looking for.

difficult to navigate

poor experience. cant find coupons to clip on my device, but someone else can find the coupon on their device. when I do clip the coupon once, it disappears and cant find anywhere to clip it again to use the deal again on a different day, during the sale period. if the sale is on the coupon should be usable on different days. not just once during the sale period.

I like that the app shows me sales, but it won't let me sign in/create account. every time I put in my number, I wait for the app to text me my verification code & I never receive it.

The app is useless for me. The main reason for downloading the app is to clip digital coupons. I can never sign in because the app won't allow me to input my verification code & you have to be signed in to use the digital coupon feature of the app. I called support & they told me to uninstall & reinstall the app & if doesn't work then use the website. I don't know if this is exclusive to Android phones. I hope that DG can fix this bug so I can use the app in the future

This app is terrible. We get to the store to find out that the app has signed us out and we cannot clip the coupons. The joke around our house is that Dollar general gets their app from Dollar general 😂

the dollar general in our town has some of the best workers. the Manager Amanda Tomlin keeps her store running the best!!! other employees are amazing they are always putting things on shelves, getting right to putting Truck away. thwart are the Best too!!!!

there's a sign in the window of our local dollar general that says we deliver but there apo says they don't deliver. is that not false advertisement.

Using the app to add to cart never matches the check out amount. On a cart total from $25-$50 you pay from $2-$6 more than the app shows. I would give zero stars if I was able.

ehhh it's okay. kinda confused as to y I make a list but the list isn't brought up when I enter phone number in person.

I only add store apps if they provide me with delivery or pickup options, or if they will provide me with the capacity to save a decent amount of money. The set-up with coupons and not being able to remove them and choose the best options for myself is increasing my price. As an aside, their 5 mile delivery radius is another reminder of just how much more expensive life is for the disabled community.

I love that you can add coupons and stuff and just put in your phone number and it picks them up but 95% of the time the coupons do not work so it gets a little frustrating and the worst part is the employees are not allowed to make it right 🤬 but it has nothing to do with the store itself because the store in Lynnville Indiana is absolutely amazing it's clean organized and has amazing employees 😻🥰💯

You need a member's bar code like the other apps have. Punching in a phone # at the checkout is slow, glitchy, cumbersome, and insecure.

I would love to be able to use the app since I regularly visit Dollar General stores, however for some reason when I try to verify my device in the app, the yellow banner that is supposed to be behind the verification is in front of it and won't allow me to enter the verification codes

Found some specific items I wanted to purchase that said they were in stock, walked all the way to dollar general, and they told me all the summer stuff had been sent back. Well then why is it showing up on the app? Useless unless employees actually do their job and mark things as off the shelf.

the ads at startup don't make me want to use your app. I close it as soon as an ad starts. I AM ALREADY TRYING TO SHOP. WHY DO I NEED AN IRRELEVANT AD THAT FORCES ME TO LOOK AT ITEMS I HAVE ZERO INTEREST IN???? The audacity is astounding. Your customers already see ads all day long everywhere. Did they make a CEO sleep better?? That is the only explanation. still.... use the coupons. they work as long they're stored you don't need your phone with you just put in your number :)

they need to fix the coupons. if you have a 3 dollar coupon it forces you to use it instead of the 5 dollar one. it waste people's time , when they make a trip to the store for absolutely nothing.

this app freezes every time I try to use it! either when im at home on my wifi or using cellular data, it doesnt matter! I open the app and it constantly freezes.

everything about dollar general sucks including this app. can even use the search bar most the time. I have to close the app over and over again just for it to respond. and this is a new phone with no issues so it's definitely an app issue.

Wouldn't let me create an account, no matter what e-mail I tried.

I cannot login now. I got the code to my phone but I can't put the code in. When I click the spot to type, nothing happens and my keyboard does not pop up for me to type the code. So.. cannot login.

After downloading the app i couldn't log into my old account and if I used the forgot password I never received the email even after it said my email is a match then it locks me out for 20 minutes and repeats after waiting the timeout period. the same issue if I created a new account using a different email address so I can't figure out what is going on. I googled the issue and the stores website does the same thing so for me I don't have time to mess with it. thanks but not worth the hassle.

NEVER HAVE I EVER HAD SO MANY PROBLEMS WITH AN ONLINE ACCOUNT LOGIN!!! IM DEFINITELY LEAVING A BAD REVIEW AND I REFUSE TO EVER RECOMMEND IT TO EVEN MY WORST ENEMY!! Everytime i try and use it, my password never works the first 4 times then it locks me out of ny account!!

great deals just make sure you clip them in the app at least 2 hrs before you go or the coupons want work

the search function on this app is so busted. please fix. will update rating after appropriate patch. also: currently having a separate issue where a lingering expired deal (Taylor farms 2/$6 salads, ended 9/21) is triggering other coupon population failure ($2 off $10 marie callender etc & $3 off $9 Nabisco). furthermore: please make it so I can check items off my list and they no longer count towards my list $ total, so that I don't have to delete them. thx. ily.

they never keep the app updated with the products and quantities in the stores. also, the coupons and sales don't usually work exactly how it shows in the app and you often don't save as much as it shows in your cart on the app. further, I just looked up chocolate milk, and it says 5 gallon but I'm sure it's only 1/2 gallon. fix this app now

Awful experinces. Online store say something is in stock but when shopper shops there's none in stock. Always substitutes problem, either doesn't work or shopper has problems doing substitute at checkout. At my DG 1 long section of freezer cases always shut down you can't buy any of those frozen food items, DG won't replace old freezers with new ones. When I go shop in person it's lot better shopping, only issue is the parking lot and behind the store is filthy with trash.

The app is alright. Inventory isn't always accurate, and the digital coupons do not always reflect on the receipt. That's the most frustrating part. The app will stack coupons, but the registers don't. Stores have different deals and such, adding to the confusion. And it's not easy to know what coupons will work or not. Unless you hold up an employee to go through each coupon. Nice idea, but the receipts not reflecting the deals, is a big deal. Even when not stacking, this happens. Bad business.

I love Dollar General especially the coupons..

As an employee its really good to have and I highly recommend customers getting it too. BUT there should really be a way for us to sort through in app reviews by store cus the reviews are from seemingly every state and store. and its never truely accurate of what's currently being sold at the store. Like it'll say that something is in stock or not sold but that's not true? I will literally scan something at the store to see price and see something like "out of stock".
