I've been using this app consistently since Dec 2022. It's the app I use for art when on the go, even over Medibang (which I have years of experience with). I purchased the one-time payment for my tablet since I believed that I would be using this app for years to come. That was about $19.94 CAD and an additional $7.34 for PDF import/export back in 2024. They have raised it to $40.99 which I thankfully don't have to pay for but this is just to let others know.

really good. I hope they keep the free version as it is. really useful for my studies. a life changer. thank you developers

Good app 6/10, could be easier to find features

this is really good for drawing without needing subscription services or an excess of adds. great without payments, but just on another level with the subscription.

it has more options than I have ever seen in all the drawing apps that I have used I wasn't even using premium and it had so many options even then

respectfully, low-key better than ibis paint in certain aspects. it's WAY easier for sketching, also. it can be used for a lot of things aside from drawing, writing, studying, etc... good app.

Not a perfect analogue of pencil and paper drafting for things like furniture design, but the closest I've seen yet. That's pretty good considering that it's more for art than drafting. I still have plenty to explore, so it might be better at drafting than is immediately apparent.

i like the app. One change i want, if its there in the next update, i will buy the essential version of his app. The change is to be able to set custom zoom values, and when we zoom in and out, the app should lock on to the 4 customized zoom values; not 10 or 50 or 100 percent by default.

Really good app for sketching and drawing. It ca; be used for making comics, and also for taking notes if you do that. Lots of good features. :D (Also, no ads means i can keep wifi on while using it :D)

Really good for diagrams and such! Definitely worth installing. Can also sketch in it like a normal bit of paper so pretty good 👍Would love further brush customisation like Sketchbook Pro has (what different light/heavy makes, tilt scale, etc). Would also love a simpler way to access shapes as the library is a kind of large popup for just wanting a square!

Large and wide pay wall. The pay wall is $40 and includes tools like the selection tool. Want to select a layer and delete everything? Better have a credit card. If the difference between the free and paid version wasn't so significant or if the unlocked version was ½ or ⅔ the current cost it would be an easy 5. If there was a way to decline the free trial it would be easier to evaluate, but you MUST activate the trial and will only experience the free version after it has expired.

The best app on my tab S9 Fe Plus. Very rocemmended for those in design, whether for work or learn, you simply open, make canvas, and write or sketch your idea.

Very easy to use and organize. I like the infinite canvas and the ability to zoom in a lot. One down side is that there is no blending tool, you will need to use different techniques to blend.

10/10 amazing app for note taking designing and everything in between this app is truly made for everyone.

This app has a lot of potential. I mainly use Samsung Notes for concept art, so the use of vector art as opposed to pixels is very pleasing to the eye, and it's very easy to pick up and draw with. But then I saw the paywalls they have. $30 for the ability to export your work to a PNG, as well as basic functions like selecting your work and scaling it, is a little ridiculous. I think the one-time purchase is great, it should just be more affordable, since the app is basically crippled without it.

it's nice and I've enjoyed my time with it. unfortunately the pro payment seems a tad too expensive and hinges on some features that, quite frankly, should be included in the free version [editing, importing, png exporting]. additionally, I'd love to see more brush settings [as in, controls over the finer details, NOT more brush packs]

My child uses this and finds it to be very useful, however we are not able to purchase a subscription on their account. How can I do this?

my go to drawing and note taking app. I like the infinite Canvas and all the colour options! The free plan is amazing.

It is a great app for my needs designing for embroidery and not difficult to learn as a beginner to using a digital app

Sorry, not impressed with this art app.... I was hoping to atleast have smudging options and also every time you lift your drawing tool for the colors to change automatically...can be in the same color type group.

concepts is my 12th I hv installed for note making, after trying and deleting remaining 11 apps. Hands down I found the best app for note making!

it's good. but my screen goes completely black sometimes, when I tap, it comes back, and then goes black again. this happens when I'm taking notes on concepts. why is that. I am using it on Samsungs10fe and the app is updated.

Very poor customer service i have an issue with logging into my account that i have through google verification and after puchasing the essentials package a one time pay off gog denied access and when trying to access again with the same google account i was redirected to create the new account. And my subscription is not linked to my google account anymore. Was sent a ticket number and no one got back to me.

A great drawing app, held back by monetization. it definitely is one of the best apps I have tried but the limitations on the free version are just too much, and the essential pack is also expensive which makes it less than ideal deal.

I'm not one to rate something but I've been using concept for like two years and a half, it's great I love it so much, but I saw that there was a update I don't know when it happened but I love it even more I looks so clean and is easier to find everything, 10/10

I think this app is great that the fact you can put sketches in a folder that you want. The fact that it's limited is the annoying part. You shouldn't have to pay to insert images. I could edit the image I want to in my gallery app but the features aren't there.

I just can't give this a good review for one main reason... There's is no recent colors in the color picker. Why is one of the most basic features of any drawing app missing?

app costs money. I'm tired of downloading "free" apps just to be asked to pay immediately. at least give a trial that doesn't require me giving my card info and subscribing for a free 7 days. I want to give 1 star but I'll be fair and give 3 even though I couldn't use the app to actually tell you. a waste of my time.

It's my go-to app for architectural conceptualizing and sketching. I use It pretty much everyday and even though it's got some weak spots, I think it's the best cheap or free (depending on how you want to use it) option out there. Some features I would like to see implemented: - An option to group layers. - A more intuitive way to blur or the option to work in raster processing (pixels). - A "Paint bucket" tool. - An option to use the patterns as a fill tool and not only as a pen. (in Android)

Not gonna Lie this was the best app i use for my design home and others this support my device very well for young architecture you can learn with this app i highly recommended It perhaps this was my opinion for this app.

one star because no lifebuy options for parts of the everything features. update. i bought the pre made shapes i wanted. wish i could make my own, with out a subscription. Buying shapes dont show up in "your packs" so you have to favorite the ones you buy in order to make your own "owned packs" list. and yes the shapes do mimic what pen style used however if you're using multiple shapes, your time is consumed by adjustmenting pen sizes for each shape. and snap points dont work well with them too

Awesome app for both drawing and note-taking!

Works incredibly well on Oppo Find N6 folding phone as well as the Samsung Tab S8. The UI design and shortcuts are phenomenal for working with a limited screen and accessory kit. I often use it for quick studies on the go and it's easy to stay on task rather than fight the software as with many apps. Several times I've handed off my device to kids or non-artists and they've picked it up quickly.

hard to use without paying, plus the pen packs don't have previews meaning you don't know what you paid for until you already did it. I have the paid version and it still freezes up sometimes on too big projects but all in all it's still my favourite creative app to date.

Worst app ever! It kept glitching and I couldn't move to the home page at all. Plus,when I tried to draw something, it was so hard to keep the pen where you want it and it kept changing colour for some reason! I totally do not recommend this app. 👎

I have this app on Android, been using it since 2023. I bought several monthly subscriptions in the meantime. However, I only recently discovered that on Android the user doesn't get the same experience as on iOS. This is a HUGE issue, because they advertise it as such. If I buy the sub on Android, I expect to get the full experience since that is what's written in the app. That I could edit and create my own brushes, but that's a lie. Now, I'm sure that this is illegal in the EU.

I've tried several drawing apps and they are either too complicated or too simple. Concepts somehow falls in the middle for me. It doesn't have all the features of a Photoshop clone, but its very intuitive and useful on mobile and desktop. It's worth paying for IMO.

My app is not installing from the playstore, each time I try to download it the error says "Can't install Concepts: Sketch, Note, Draw Try again, and if it still doesn't work, see common ways to fix the problem" I'm using a Samsung s9 ultra tablet One Ul version 8.5 Android version 16, with over 700 GB of storage

Great product with just one key feature missing. That is, cloud storage of user data. If there can be a cloud integration to enable drawing syncs across multiple devices, I believe it'll help. Right now, it feels like a user may lose his design if he loses his device. The Dropbox sync is so confusing and due to battery optimization, it becomes more difficult to use that option

As an art tool for someone learning, it's amazing. Where it's been exceptional for me is as a learning tool for written learning! Having the limitless space to expand and connect ideas with all the intuitive tools makes developing new learning systems so engaging, and it draws you in( see what I did there).

I have tried numerous apps for creating crisp & clean schematic design sketches; this one, BY FAR, has been the easiest and quickest to learn! Easily the best I have used, hands down. I am now able to present professional custom digital images for review by architects, GC's, and clients. As a tradesman/craftsman and nowhere near an CAD guy, this app is a game changer for me.....and that was with the free version! Try it, you will love it.

the interface is simple,and clean. the use of vectors allows the stroke to be crisp even when zoomed in, and the infinite canvas is great for note taking, brainstorming ideas, developing any idea or concept, planning, and is overall usefull for many things.

overall a good sketching app for ideas, I do love the infinite canvas however I do wish there was an option for specific canvas size. I do love the selection for brushes as well, the lasso fill tool has become such a huge part of my process I hate using other brushes for color and render now. however the initial eraser they have selected sucks, they have another one that works as it should that is free, it just took me a bit to find it. I love the organization of the app, very easy to navigate.

Really great app. Can't wait for the feature to have color palettes. Would be nice if the dot grid spacing configurator allowed keyboard input like pen sizes did instead of just a slider. it's a bit hard to get dot grid sizes exactly.

this says it has an "infinite canvas" but it doesn't it has infinite left right up and down but not zooming in and out which is the whole point of an infinite canvas I love the customization and would redownload if it does become infinite but as it is right now it's a lie

I was drawing then I decided to move the screen as far as I can, I wanted to go back to my drawing but it completely dissapeared. I took long on that drawing, but I do like the drawing experience..

no external storage /sd card won't export / save pictures. even to local storage. says I don't have enough memory.

as a student this was so helpful for me to take notes and do active recall. the fact that it was also free and still has so many tools we can use without purchasing or buying the pro bundle was truly such a great opportunity for me because not all note taking apps allow students to have infinite canvasses nor do they have many varieties of tools so for me this app really stood out and I genuinely would recommend any student younger or older than me to give this a go becuz it is truly worth it❤️

The app has good functionality and has potential but it hide tools behind a pay wall. I paid to be able to import and export but now I have to suscribe to be able to save my items into a pallete. I am now looking for alternative software to get simple functionality without having to keep upgrading.

Fantastic product. It's so clean and so easy to learn - you can even do a lot in the free version without annoying ads or necessary features blocked. Definitely give it a go for drawing, design, whatever you're thinking - it's that versatile!

The user interface is a little bit difficult to get used to. Still trying to learn its functionality. A long time corral and photoshop user.

Highly recommend. The Pro restrictions don't limit experience and you can still have a quality time on the app without getting pro. As an artist who is disorganized with my writing thoughts and lore, this app actually made me enjoy writing things down and organizing.

Very relevant for my architectural design work

Line guide and basic shapes doesn't work on essentials anymore. I tried signing out and back in but it didn't help. ever since the holiday free pro trial it stopped working.

won't say "easy" but very thorough. haven't fully got the hang of it, but worth checking out

good drawing levels and plenty of file room for organizing. the biggest issue was the lack of visual titles in the folders. so you cant see which file you need to open before you open it. it very gruelling and frustrating. it somehow is not a basic logic for this program. when dealing with images. it very much should be a no brainer. i liked it but had to uninstall it. its just not that good of a art experience. especially for a digital format.if i could suggest one thing. color per tool.

I just started using the app today and so far it's nice! It's quite the switch since I have been using IbisPaintX for YEARS on end, but I enjoy it a lot! The lack of the mirror tool (or at least the ability to find it, since I'm not sure if it's in the app) is a lot for me because I use it a lot, but I'm ACTUALLY starting to get used to drawing without it! I'll update my review the more I use it!

Felt like I got Scammed. I bought the essentials pack in my laptop a while ago, expecting that once I got my android tablet, I would be able to just sign in my account and sync the purchase, but NOPE!

For a casually-invested but still invested artist this has everything you could ask for as well as being a decent mind mapping and note taking app. I do wish the pens worked a little differently but it doesn't take too much time to get used to, the essentials/one time purchase is reasonably priced, and most importantly for me the palm rejection is solid.

Excellent tool. However, the free tier does not allow edits of selections. Not even repositioning, rendering the app useless for my use case (mind maps). I find the subscription too expensive for my needs. Beautiful and intuitive design though.

Funnest App For ; Doodling And Detailed Art

BEAUTIFUL! The menu design is peeeerfect I find myself depending on the folders a whole lot! All the essentials you'll ever need are given, even without paying for Concept's full offer . I'm a student, and I write down my studies on here . Would love this as a full-fledged Art program as well ... Again, UI/Menu design made wonders for me . It's easily navigable . 6 stars!!! if possible ★★★★★★

could you make the "hide interface" feature a dedicated button? and also, a horizontal option for the pallette bar that can be put at the top? otherwise, great app.

it's so hard to sync, honestly I think I would've like it better if I can use a Gmail to save my works.

THIS IS THE WORST APP EVER! I saw this app that says is very good, so I tried it. APPARENTLY, I FORGOT MY PEN/PENCIL and it did not let me do anything. It was so buggy my Chromebook randomly shut down every time I even OPEN THIS APP! OK, finally I opened the app and open one folder, I did all the starter stuff and payed some money. And after that when I tried to draw, it keep on saying this "Layer is empty." OKAY, so I went to ask Google it says to do something so I did. NOTHING! It did not work

this app will let you use it for 7 days and after that without warning it will switch and lock all toles all one can use is the pen. might as well just draw with my camera app on my phone.Pissed since now my week long project is ruined. STAY AWAY

This is perhaps the most non-destructive as you can get in terms of drawing. since each stroke is kept as a vector data, you can adjust the brush settings on that particular stroke. Absolutely incredible in terms of drawing and capabilities. I don't think I've enjoyed creating assets and planning as I did with any other drawing app. My only dislike is the lack of folder grouping for the layers. multiple layered drawing is difficult to select and isolate. Also please macOS support! 10\10.

Most comfortable app to use One issue is the eraser marks on the above layer will appear when you merge layers but its a free app with 5 layers limit for me it is enough for ideas and note taking Easy to use but lacking of free tools like flip canvas/image like ibis paint

This program feels wonderful to use. The color wheel is really cool how it opens up with a dozen prechosen colors, all in fading sets. An really generous on the free features in a basic program. Im loving this for prototyping idea concepts and taking notes in!

Downloaded for my business. I like this drawing app. For engineering it's the best drawing app available on Android. The graph paper options and the snap make it very easy to draw blueprints. When reverse engineering something I can easily place measurements and the shapes guide makes stuff like bolts quick and easy. I highly recommend this app.
