This is no longer offered through that coinstar ATM. I complained in a survey. CoinMe didn't like that and decided to close my account. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU FIND ANOTHER APP.

stupid. just says "we are unable to establish a business relationship at this time" no explanation, no what to do about it, etc. app is also unstable, like it was vibecoded by children.

The worst crypto app out there. Their fees are outrageous, up to 20%. Not only that, but they had a glitch in their system and they blamed it on the customer: it showed a totally different location in their system than mine. They locked and closed my account after I provided them with all documents requested. Their customer service is worst, they only respond through email and they take forever to respond. I would stay away from this thieves. It's been weeks and I still did not get my funds

These people are total thieves and Google should ban the app. Last time I used (month ago, my little $15 BTC I bought from Coinstar/Coinme link after exchanging pennies turned in $12 then when I went to my wallet there was $4 and change left in account . What ? Been buying BTC for years, never saw a spread that high, then found out the min withdrawal/transfer is $5.... again, what?.. Cannot connect cust.svc. search web and you'll see numerous lawsuits and fines .STAY AWAY!

this company is horrible. first they treat you like a criminal and close your account, and make you file a refund request, then once you go back and forth on info needed for refund request they realize they won't make any money. so they reopen your account charge you because you have an account, then charge you a fee to pull your money out. they made over $100.00 off of me in 2 days. whose scamming who? what and fning joke!!!

On 11/25/2025 in the state of WA, their Dept of Financial Institutions Consumer Services Div served Coinme with a temp order to cease & desist due to 'Unsafe and Unsound Practices', 'Unfair & Deceptive Practices', 'Inaccurate Receipts', 'Failed to Maintain Tangible Net Worth', 'Failed to Maintain Permissible Investment Records' and more. I mention this because although I'm in another state, they recently terminated my acct w/o reason & withheld my funds. These people are crooks, make no mistake.

its a great service and I would use it all the time but I just put 500 into my coinme and when I looked how much I had its was like 440 something so your telling me there was 60$ in gas fees when I just sent it to my private wallet for 6.95? so why are u stealing 60$ of my money when I paid a fee at the register for the transfer. thats not right and needs to be changed. you're robbing people of there hard earned money and basically hiding it as transfer fees. Its basically fraud or laundering

you can do $1500 a day but only $5000 a month and as it turns out $3500 a week on coinme cash. Took me hours to find out what an error message that "something went wrong" means you are over limit.

Rip off. They do not tell you the fees before buying Bitcoin at a kiosk. I put in $100 and in the end only got $90 worth of bitcoin. There is no transparency. To make it worse you can't send it to the wallet of your choice and even worse Coinme will not provide you with your seed key. If you want to buy anything they charge over $5 for each transaction. That's outrageous considering other wallets charged 50 cents!! They had my money hostage and nickel and dime you every step of the way.

Customer service is non-existent. I signed up and did a few transactions with my debit card. debit card was getting declined but not from my banks side. chatbot service said they were having technical difficulties,so keep trying. problem is after 3 attempts they lock your account. chatbot said just remove and re apply same card. problem is after 3rd try, they log you out and lock you out. at this point,you can not communicate with them. they want a lot of personal info and images too.

Issue resolved. It was due to Coin me support never updated my old contact info and the phone number used to pick up funds was incorrect in their system. Updated rating to reflect resolution, regardless, support never responded after ticket was submitted hours ago. I think if fees are lowered and support improves, the app has potential though

I HAVE DONE THAT! well over a dozen times by now, maybe 2 dozen!!!! This app is absolutely WORTHLESS. Bought $29 of Bitcoin at a Coinstar and ended up with way less. It was around 15% fees for this transaction. Then I tried sending it to Cashapp's wallet so I could convert it to cash to use and I ended up with $17 I was able to send. Due to 2 failed transactions I lost $6.38. Absolutely Ludacris! No reason to use this company. You can't use your money. It was gonna cost me $11 to buy a $5 gift card!? What kind of sense does that make!? I could keep my CASH!!!

I've read a lot of the reviews on here it's not a bad app, but it's a worthless app when you can't add a debit card, and the debit card I was adding was due to a lost card, and was a replacement. still waiting on them to retrieve funds that were sent using the wrong network due to misleading/incorrect labeling on their part.... the funds were successfully sent on the blockchain which also shows the missing coins reflected in the wallets balance. All they'd have to do is give me my private keys or recovery phrase....or just retrieve them for me....... they seem to be in no hurry.

the app is great I have a coinme machine just a couple of blocks away the only thing is I only have a $900 limit .It won't let me go through the verification though everything is legal with my id and information. then it automatically closes the account even if you have Bitcoin in the account if you don't pass verification so if you can get the bugs out of the verification process otherwise the app is great

Horrible. I sent $100 to my wallet of ETH to cash out to my debit card. Rejected my cash out, I dont know why...always was able to before...now I can't even log in anymore. What's even better is trying to speak to a customer service human! it's not possible! Stay clear of this app, they will take your money.

During installation the app GUI has a message window that blocks the bottom of the code entry area making it impossible to complete. And even after managing to log in, I find it's useless as compared to the website. This is the worst crypto App ever because everyday you encounter new issues. The first issue i encounter was unexpected error when i tried to sign in. Now they are showing the password and Email are not correct when i tried to sign in. The worst part is that Google automatically saved my password for me so i really don't understand this App because it needs to be banned. I even tried resetting my password but it didn't work. Very poor customer service. They only use AI chat to answer your question and all their advice is not helping a customer any further. They just want a customer to create a ticket but there is no answer or help coming from them. They just let you go in circles. Created more ticket but they don't response to you when you really need it. Very poor service.

I just went through the most stressful moment activating my voucher and I could not reach anyone to help me . this service sucks! don't use it! and run away!!! Again they have made it impossible to access support so I can change my phone number or simply log in to my lousy account. If I were you I would run far this is a scam. I had numerous problems with the app, in partp because I was a new user. When I tried to explain the problems, which were complex, I ran up against the enforced timeout on the problem description page, so I had to submit multiple times. I ended up losing $900+ and Coinme would not work with me to resolve the issues. There is no HELP LINE, ONLY PROBLEM REPORTS. They ended up canceling my account because I had too many issues to be resolved. LOUSY APP.

This company sucks. If you ever have any problems their customer service is pretty much non existent so you won't get any help. There is no number to call They direct everyone that needs support to go through the help chat but all you get is a bot with multiple choice answers that all lead to filling out an extensive ticket. This app was Great at first but now absolutely no one can log into their account online or on the app. So your funds are just sitting inside the coinme account and you can't access your own money. There is no customer support number to call and the email says BLOCKED when you try to send a support message. The mobile app cannot be accessed with your log in and this is everyone I know. This app is beginning to look like a bitcoin scam theft from customers.

This app is a rip off. I received $154 and another $56 then 2 days later the numbers changed to 129and 49. Not only that but prices on things i had already paid for changed and my total purchases didn't even add up to the amount it said my balance was. I used to be a regular user of this platform to purchase Bitcoin, and it was smooth sailing for a long time. Then one day, all of a sudden, I received an email saying that my account was terminated. No explanation given, and I know I didn't break any of the terms or conditions, so I was left quite baffled by the whole ordeal. I would have given it a strong 4 stars, but now leaving it at 1 Star for obvious reasons. I would suggest Coinbase, or any btm that you find in a search engine.

Hands-down the worst customer service I've ever had to deal with, EVER. Sends out two micro-transactions to verify my card, and I enter the amounts into the fields, but it says it can't add my card and won't reverse the transactions, either. Incredibly unhappy with coinme. It's been two months and I still don't have the Bitcoin I paid for, it appears as thought I have been defrauded. With continued attempts there's always one problem or another on coinme end that prevents me from accessing my btc. Not just KYC it's a problem with phone or a problem with the app or some other problem.

Support response, Well support having tried your help icon and submitted a ticket I have yet to get any changes. To submit a ticket you need to have information of your transaction. Can't have a complete transaction without a code now can I. I then think to transfer funds to a card and you end with needing a code to do this. Funds stuck without codes being received. Tickets are unable to create without code. Withdraw unable without code. Well why is your codes not sending?

When it works it's works. The problem is 90% of the time transactions will fail trying to purchase. The sends are quick and the kiosk is convenient, high fees but that's crypto for ya. I've used many, many crypto investing apps and this is one of the poorest quality ones I've come across. I haven't been able to sell/withdraw my money for quite a while now. The app has many errors and I have attempted to contact support 3 times now. They haven't even looked at the first support request from over 2 months ago.

Igad my account locked 3weeks ago, for no reason known to me. After contacting them , they said try to reset you password, which l did , but it took a week to happen. I have been trying to contact customer service for days. I tried to fill out a ticket, but it wouldn't accept my crypto amount. I had all the information, and it wouldn't go through. I have emailed. I have tried to chat, but you don't have an option to actually type your own chat. You have to go through a chat bot. Can we actually talk to a person?

Everything about this app is a scam. I've had only about 5$ sitting in the account and can't even access my account after repeated attempts to do so. It started out ok getting my account setup and I even used it twice to buy Bitcoin through MoneyGram... No problems. The third time it failed miserably. I initiated the transaction and it showed in the app but not in the MoneyGram system. I sent a question to customer support and the next thing I know they cancelled my account with no reason given. Zero trust in this app/exchange. Not your keys... Not your crypto.

They have NO customer service options. Live chat is just a bot with faq's that disconnects and locks you out. They encourage you to use live chat but say you can email too - well there is no email address listed anywhere and definitely not in the help section. The app usually works fine, but I wouldn't risk my money again without any chance of getting help if something went wrong again.

Find another way! This app has unlinked my phone number from my account and I cannot login to my account after having already converted my money. They do not afford you the ability to actually call and speak to someone. The AI they use for the chat sucks. The customer service sucks altogether. I made a deposit with my debit card two weeks ago, and the money ($15.55) has still not been applied to my account. It seems I am always losing my Bitcoin when completing a transaction. Apparently I'm told that the last transaction I sent never made it to it's destination. I was told their wallet had been changed and the Bitcoin never made it to them. I have lost over $2000 using Coinme and their app doesn't give you an option for contacting them. I am no longer going to use this app because I am tired of always losing large amounts of money I even sent money back to my bank and never received it.

I would not download this to make any transaction. They asked me for my account information to make a deposit into my bank and verify that my bank an account was mine but instead they took out like 3 dollars out of my account. When I tried to get ahold of someone, I couldn't. They ask for a current case number and there isn't one. I tried to purchase $10 worth OF biTCOIN AND THEY said transaction cannot be completed.

Don't do it. My transaction is being held up as I write this because the ID verification software they have sucks! I was taking perfect pictures of my ID and my selfie. Eventually my account was locked up several days ago. Trying to get in touch with customer service to get anything resolved has proved pointless. I'd have better chances pulling my own teeth than getting customer service to resolve my issue. Coinme I give you a big 👎👎👎👎👎

They closed my account because I tried to buy Bitcoin, and I did not receive a voucher printout from the kiosk machine. And then blaming me for it. And I thought they were a good company. But blamed me because it didn't print out onto the voucher from their own kiosk machine. Sorry for replying so late but I had to look for the case number. The case number is #00573105

I downloaded this app an tried to login an verify my identity an everytime it would pop up saying error. An check back....then it just locked me out an now my account is closed permanently they said. After wait almost a wo for an response. Trying to buy bitcoin for the first time......this really put a sour taste in my mouth......I still have vouchers that I need to redeem an its frustrating trying to retrieve them. When your account is permanently closed....😡

App keeps requesting to update when it's the latest update from the Google Play store. Security verifications when trying to verify phone number keeps giving me error codes. Lots of big issues and haven't been able to claim my voucher. Very frustrating when Bitcoin is supposed to be fast, so far the slowest app on getting my Bitcoin.

The app itself is decent but my debit card gets declined so I have to buy with cash at the kiosks. The app tells me which locations I can do this at but problem is when I get there some of them don't accept cash like it says. Very frustrating. Also the spread is very high now at 17%. It used to be about 10% ($500 for $450 in coin which was very fair, now I get closer to $400). It just kept going up and up so I started buying at other places to get a better rate.

I've had a very pleasant experience purchasing crypto through this app, using the CoinStar feature. The low fees are such a relief in comparison to the exorbitant prices found at the majority of other options. -–THE ONLY ISSUE I've encountered thus far, is that I have been unable to complete a purchase through the app with my debit card. I was able to add and verify the card, but the purchase attempts don't seem to go anywhere. I cannot see them on my card history, like they never even ran it.

I purchased 50$ in bc at my local grocery store. At that time I didn't have a working number so when I set up my account thru the coin me app, it gave me a very hard time, I contacted customer chat, to be told they couldn't find my purchase in there system.. I took photos of my paper receipt from the ATM, they still acted like there was no avail... I verified my account and still that happened

I'm seriously tired of this company and app. Customer service does nothing but pass you on to a specialist who will contact you in 2-3 BUISNESS DAYS. My account gets closed for no reason. I ask why and can't even get a reason. This is on top of them closing out a different account supposedly sending me 150$ check that never showed and when I bring it up im supposed to have my slip thats months old. Garbage

Your platform and app are garbage. Glitches. Garbage. The platform or the application will no longer allow you to sell your crypto at your convenience. One star nothing more. I strongly suggest going with something like atomic, lumi or other valid apps or platforms. Except coinbase, they are a nightmare as well. When I first started using coin me it was excellent. It was the greatest app I had used in a long time. Now you guys don't allow us to sell crypto. Getting verified as a nightmare too. S

The worst crypto trading company out there. Avoid at all cost! They have technical issues in their software and will subsequently keep your money while not telling when your funds will be available. I purchased some bitcoin and didn't receive it. I was then told "Sorry, when we fix it we'll let you know, can't tell you when though." To make it even worse they don't have a telephone line to talk with agents, instead they have a chat line where you have to wait an hour to be assisted. They steal $

If I could give no stars I would. Do not use this app, do not use coinme at all. If you do one thing they don't like they will permanently close your account and stop you from opening a new one. That one thing was trying to change my phone number on my account. If you buy a voucher before they close your account it can take them up to 40 days to mail you a reimbursement paper check.

Horrible customer service, it offers a chat but it just loops you back around the vague subjects with no details. I am trying to redeem a coinme voucher and downloaded the app to do so. There is absolutely no button or icon for verification.... you cannot redeem unless verified; but coinme has my cash in the meantime. Shady. Put your money in the box and then try to get it out....cyber slot machine.

I've attempted 3 times now to move bitcoin from another wallet to my coinme wallet. All transactions show that they are stuck. I can only buy bitcoin and send them to my non- coinme wallet from the coinme wallet. I've sent emails. I've tried to call. I've left voicemail. Nothing. This place is a scam. Read the reply to this! 😂 "Get ahold of us if you need anything else".... how tf you expect me to do that??? No 1 calls back, responds to email and live chats are ended when they have no solution!

Do not use this app. The fees are so high. How do they end up with more money then what I get. I'm kinda new to crypto I wanted to try something new so I added 17 dollars using the coinstar. I try to send it to another wallet and after fees I will get 7 dollars and the fee is 9 dollars. Also no matter how many times I try it will not accept my debt card to even sell or buy crypto on the app. A big waste of time.

I had a failed transaction for Doge coin the other day and it's been about a week and nothing from customer service I've emailed and called and online chat to no avail I spent$20 at coinstar and it was fine it to the app this app and my transaction failed and it was for 250+ doge that I really need but nothing and it makes me very disappointed with the level of integrity that I assumed this company had. Other then the one bad transaction nothing else has been an issue

SCAMMERS!!!! (Horrible), first time I used app, I deposited two LTC coins, at the time it was worth over 200 USD and they literally took my coin and sent it to another address right away , then took three weeks to tell me, my account is getting closed and pretty much too bad... So I have to file a police report for crypto? Lol, you guys are a joke, I deposited to your platform, no one else had my login info it was the first time I used it, didn't even get a notification the coin was sent.

I never got to use this app. When I tried to buy and send Bitcoin via my bank card, kept saying Error Try Again Later, I've tried many times, I get the same message. I called and they told me tech support was suppose to fix the problem, but never heard back from customer service, So I uninstalled it, seemed like a nice easy site to use, but there's issues 😕

the entire thing is a confusing mess. The developer asked me to expand upon my issues so here we go. I live in a very rural area with absolutely no cell reception for miles. But i cant use my internet at home to even get the app set up because it requires text verification. So, i drive the ten miles to get the app set up, and it will not, under any circumstances, allow me to my bank account to it. So, if i want to buy coin, i have to drive 54 miles to a kiosk that charges me 20% of my purchase

I used to love this app it was easy, helpful and an easy way to get bitcoins to people far away and had used either the app or the website for 2 years. Now you have added so many security checks that you cannot complete any transactions without it timing you out. It sends a phone verification code to your phone then it wants you to reverify you personal pin only to now have it loose everything you were trying to do to have to start over again. Very frustrating.

Very bad app and chat line can't help you either on their assistance , customer phone service is terrible , only voice-mail so don't expect a call back the same day you need their help , maybe you might get a return call the next day or the day after that. Useless app for what it's intended for to buy and sell bitcoin !!!!

Terrible app and customer service. The app crashes everytime we go to purchase, or it shows a message that something went wrong. Already verified with my bank it's not on their side. I've reached out to customer service x4 which is a voicemail box only and have never received a call back. Bybye app! Update: How is it possible to have a ticket number if your company won't even reach out to me and respond? Doesn't matter anyway I'm using a different app/company that works quite well.

Horrible support service. I've been contacting your support for several months. I bought 2 coinme vouchers for $2,500 & $700. I can't login to my coinme account to redeem vouchers. It says contact support to validate phone number. I call coinme support, after explaining the problem to them, they tell me to hold on... Next thing they do is to cut me off from call. I also chatted support, after telling them the problem, they tell me to hold... Boom, they end the chats without solving the problem.

My experience with this platform was horrible. I had issues with them on 2 different occasions in reimbursing my money back to me. After I straightened out my account with them I decided to use again.. So the 2nd problem I had they handled my claim all wrong never was notified that check was sent out never received a call or email giving tracking number either. Coinme refuses to contact FedEx about stolen check never contacted me back when called numerous x's its been 2 months & counting😣😤😡

Looks nice but the app just continues to make me verify after being confirmed? The ability to add cash or withdraw cash is awesome It's very easy to redeem with multiple locations. But the spread for Make and Take transactions is way to harsh. Others like $app offers reasonable buy and sell rates with competitive limits on daily transactions. Also can be withdrawn through all ATMs. Just trying to give ideas to help 🎉Happy 🎱th Birthday coinme🎉🎂

I purchased Bitcoin. I redeemed Bitcoin. The app, when I can log in, only gives me access to half of what the app, on my phone, provides. I have had no response whatsoever in the last 4 days from customer service as to how I can access my money. Quite frankly the whole experience has been a nightmare for me. Has it stands right now I do not recommend this app to anyone and I definitely will not recommend it to my friends.

Everytime you buy a voucher you pay a percentage, at the machine. Then once you redeem it, the price is already like 5,000 lower. So you lose more funds there. Then if you have to send BC to someone, there is another fee to send. So more losses. Just ridiculous anymore. I needed to send BC to some in the amount of $400. By the time the fees were done it was under $355.. ridiculous..

I Updated the app to newer version, suddenly my card disappeared from the app. I went on to relink the card, and it won't link and l have used it several times to purchase. Why am l not able to link the card after updating the app? I have sent a mail to the support unit and no response. Highly disappointed with your service

I bought crypto at a coin star machine. On trying to set up my account the system for some reason would not accept my id. I apparently tried too many times and it locked my account. Chatbot tells me to contact customer support. I've been trying to do that for 5 days now. All I can get is a recording telling me to leave my information and they will call me as soon as possible. It takes over 5 days?? It shouldn't. As of now I'm wondering if I will ever get it straight. PayPal is better than this.

I just bought Bitcoin through their kiosk and I can't seem to open an account cause it won't let me create a password! This is garbage and naturally customer service doesn't work 24/7..UPDATE: I received a response to my comment I posted on 4-4-22 (Mon.) They told me to contact support and chat with a rep. Well wouldn't you know that their chat just happens to be down due to maintenance. This is a highly established company that people put their trust and finances in, I don't understand.

Sudden unlinking of debit card. First time I signed up, i had no problems linking debit card and make a few buys. Suddenly my card disappeard from app. I went to relink the card, app said it was linked, went to purchase more, and it couldnt process the request. Several times I've tried. Disappointed.

I should've never bought a voucher from these clowns. It's been a month I've been trying to redeem this thing and because I had gotten a new phone right after I bought it, it screwed me .. something as simple as updating the phone number for the voucher apparently can't be done with these guys They keep giving me "case numbers" and telling me to wait and they will be in touch.. it's been a month. I've reported this problem 6 seperste times.. 6 seperste case numbers and nothing..

Want to give more stars but this app is very buggy. Keeps logging me out prompting me to input all of my info again, even though I made a pin code. Today I went to check my balance and it has logged me out again. I have reset my password and still cannot login to the app. This is the last issue someone wants to have involving their money.

Their system sucks. I'm waiting on live chat for over 2 hours. Started at 15 in line then I'm finally next and it keeps going back and forth to 1 in line. I always get disconnected a few minutes into the chat and have to verify my info all over again with a new support agent. Recommend you use this as a last resort.

The customer service is lacking all the way around with Coinme. Near impossible to get a response or find help. It took me 2 days to get a case number for a reimbursement that should have been generated with initial contact for, after my account was suddenly locked. Didn't use it for 2 months and suddenly I'm locked out and trying to get someone to follow up on my emails or responses back is impossible. Were my documents received? ARE they being processed? It should not be 2 days for a respons

Bought some btc thru their ATM. Had issues with account verification and tried several times to resolve it with their support but nothing happens. Not even allowed to verify a passport in the apps. How will I be able to redeem the two vouchers I bought few weeks ago, what a business!

Bought BTC with cash today at one of the machines. It priced Bitcoin at $48000 at the time I bought it when it was actually $45000 at the time. Thats a huge difference and cost me $20 loss immediately. Also the 4% took $16. So out of $400 I bought I ended up with $350. What a rip off!! I'd be better putting cash in the bank, paying taxes then buying BTC thru Coinbase Pro!!!
