In general, I've found this accurate, but tonight bus tracking was clearly buffering 10 minutes behind reality. I watched the last L5 of the day go past on time when the app pin showed it 10 minutes away. I've not encountered this before but will need to be aware in future - false tracking is worse than no tracking at all..

whichever app developers had this contact are laughing all the way to the bank. it's worse, struggles to function, poor search with no results yielding logical results. shameful really, I hope shareholders have a terse word with anyone involved.

The new app is awful, busses are disappearing, reappearing. spoke with centrebus, the reply was only two buses did not have the tracking. Two buses have seemed to of disappeared today.

Newly redesigned version works pretty well. Bus graphics can look a bit busy at times but this app is a distinct improvement on the old one! Thanks.

new design is nice however the icon is bugged and on my pixel themed icons there is no icon graphics 😂

horrible app, doesnt work, horrible bus service

Had to install this as Centrebus have taken over from Arriva in Leighton. The Arriva app was terrible; this is a little better. Update: They seem to have sorted the West Street/High Street market day changes, but L5 still no pin today and just cached timetable info claiming on time - it's not. I don't mind a late bus too much if it's correctly tracking, but this app is rarely correct

utterly useless app, just a busy timetable really that not updated, of absolutely no use whatsoever

Clicking between stops on the map is clunky and the bus tracking doesn't seem to work any more.

The bus tracker map constantly crashes the app when opened. It takes about 5 attempts of the app crashing to be able to view it

June 2025, bus tracker not working on my pixel 6 a , Android 16. can't even get the time table for the route 40 \ 40 s (southern!) I can't get the bus times for my nearest local stop, and I have to use Google maps... and quite often the buses are not running on schedule ☹️ hourly service is either early or late... so how can one rely on them? and Leicester buses, should be tracking and seen in a single app... suggest you, first bus and others work on creating a single app...

the app used to work some of the time and show me where the bus is. but now, even tho I have my bus route set to favourites. it says the route is no available and the bus does not appear on the map. completely useless now

always stops loading or crashes all the time and I use an S24 Ultra. pretty poor app only useful for bus times or live tracking when it loads

the worst bus app I have ever used, and I've only used it for one single day. You can't even keep your ticket activated all day. you have to constantly activate it WITH Internet. so if you don't have data, then don't both with this app. even the arriva app is better than this because your ticket stays active.

App keeps crashing and takes so long to load up, God forbid you running to get the bus and you haven't had the app opened yet, you'll be there for ages, also the buses specifically the 40 is always late to the general hosbital

Terrible app. Doesn't work. Doesn't find the buses. Says there are no services when there are. Stupid app.

Frustrating that nothing works on th app from bus services to purchasing tickets

Their buses are hit n miss in terms of turning up even, so this app has no chance to be nothing but rubbish. Opens then closes. timetables are very very hard to find. Easier to find times from Google. Really really rubbish and pointless app. I wonder how much they spent on app dev. Next time ask me. Or in this economic climate more likely the CEOs took there £1mln bonus that was meant for bus and app maintenance. :)

It doesn't work most of the time, it makes me very nervous because I'm afraid the bus will miss me.

This can be a very useful app, let down by the frequent glitches and loss of buses on the maps.

Id give it no stars if I could. Had been broken for so long .

Rarely works

The bus tracker used to work fine. On Oct 3rd 2024 I found it no longer showed any buses and just said "no services found". So it's no longer any use to me. At the same time the actual website was tracking buses successfully.

The app used to show me where the bus was and gave an estimate of when it would arrive but now all I see is 'no services found'. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but it made no difference.

The app doesn't even work - no services are coming up on it. It's broken.

Our Local Bus no 80 tracker is switched off rendering this app useless. App is not working.

Useless.... Mostly it is either very early or too late.. Hardly folow the time table... Few Drivers Dont care about passengers.. When we are about to get in to the bus.. They clise the door and leave with empty seats. Windering why they are printing and distributing pamplet with wrong shedule timings... Some times busses finds its own route and missee the stops.. Mostly Google map shows the wrong time for the bus. Mistly other bus apps shows the wrong time.. Mostly the digital sighn board wrong

Center bus service on Wigmore side the bus is 17 and 17A are the worst ever service I have ever seen in my life... these buses are never on time never ever on time I wait more than 1 hour on the bus stop on Wigmore Lane for the bus and it doesn't come I wait with my small daughter and it's really really hard for me I tried to contact center bus I emailed them but they said I have to fill a form I couldn't find it online so I'm writing it here I hope someone will read my review and take notice.

Useless, basic, poorly created

The app was useful, however it now has tons of bugs doesn't show correct tracking or maps and many features are simply not working

Please fix the map issue. The map doesn't load hence can't track my university bus, it's been a while please fix the bug.

Bus tracker not been working for a while

Map has stopped working so can't see information- please fix! Been an issue for a while now, maybe I will use another company from next month if issue is not resolved.

I like the live map option

Make tickets available to use offline!!!!!1App is very laggy and slow and you should add a physical child monthly tickets option for those without a device and make adult ticket etickets.

App doesn't work half the time, and the company doesn't notify passengers if a service isn't available. If they're not bothered to notify passengers, then I'm not bothering renewing my pass every month.

Bus delays and cancellations in services would be a feature expected in the app. But no half the busses are not trackable. App is also slow. Needs work

A bus I take 3-4 times a week doesn't exist according to this app.

Doesn't have up to date timetable on it

App is as broken as Centrebus itself. Timetables are incorrect and a mess. They're so concerned about not losing a single penny that completely abandon good customer service and experience. If I could I would give negative rating!

Soo slow and wrong times even when live

Need to upload the photo to buy tickets? Is this some kind of a joke? Never heard of something like that before i would rather walk than use your bus

Bad enough the buses are always late, but the tracker is broken on the app so you have no idea where they are. Awful app, awful company.

Shows ticket only half the time, the other half it doesn't show anything even expired tickets. Downloaded the update in hopes it would get better but it hasn't. Don't even get me started in the bus tracker, it's better to just stand at the stop and hope one will come soon

The QR code can never be read by the scanner , seriously someone needs to update this app ASAP !

A possibly great app let down by iffy readers on the buses & less than technical drivers. Didn't work at all on my older Sony M4 Aqua, was iffy on an iPhone 6. Better on a Huawei P30 lite but man getting it scanned right is so bus specific. And drivers call you a liar when it fails to scan & you show them the weekly ticket countdown remaining. Nope "you gotta pay". The fear of it not working means I might go back to a paper ticket. Technology is just too fudged today.

Dismally bad.... App doesn't appear but ticket is billed and shows in account. Try explaining that to the bus driver when you need to travel.

Once a bus has been selected you cannot go back or zoom out, the app freezes. You have to exit and start again

Useless. Would not set up even when sitting on the bus using the free wifi.

Its ok. Tracking Can be tempremental and its a shame I cannot buy 10 Journeys for Leicester as advertised on the bus poster and advised by a driver.

Nice to see centrebus on the contactless route. Can't wait for the ticketers to come and then we can buy tickets on the app too.
