heaps of info/stat's without a subscription
Barely usable app, the navigation is a disaster, the only thing that works reliably is the harassment to subscription to their pointless flow +
first ebike and this app is brilliant
Some features are ok but in general useless app with ads, everyone. What you get from the app is only to buy extra services pretty on every screen.
can't share stats
Navigation for off road is terrible. This app is for a high end mountain bike and should support the go to mountain bike navigational app, Trailforks. Please consider working to upgrade to this compatibility otherwise it's virtually useless for navigation.
truly appalling...absolutely will not update my 2026 mondraker to 120nm,uninstall...reinstalled many times....useless storage eater
Nice Job
Works brilliantly , All the adjustments choices of riding modes on the Bosch CX is fantastic..
Clean User Experience, well designed overall, simply superb. It's a well thought out app, trying to push some premium features (they pay the bills and probably keep this app up to date). I like the regular firmware updates to the bike unlocking new features. Also like the anti theft features
no idea what it's updated 😜🏴
incredible support app. works really well and the feedback is great. I discover new things all the time. great app.
why does it keep saying keep your bike connected ?? I'm paying for nothing the app does nothing
sorry I just had to say how gay the dude in the first screenshot looks lol
have to pay for full access.
good
Basis Funktionen sind zu stark eingeschränkt. Bezahlen ist bei 6 köpfiger Familie zu teuer.
Sadly you have to pay to get all of the features. Like I didn't pay enough for the bike already. Hence the four instead of five star rating.
unable to connect to Kiox 500. waste of time
Not the best app it keeps taking us down paths that are clearly not for road bikes. I select leisure and for example it can take us down through deep forests so best to check the route it gives in detail before departing
Awesome
no I don't want a subscription for basic functions. Bosch is working hard to make customers not consider buying their products in the future. I will not. well done
great app easy to understand and use
prima zo
everything works good. The updates are very helpful. the rides record properly and are accurate. lots of options and settings for the bike.
##### I would like the option to include a greater number of waypoints when planning a trip. Its not enough for big complex trips #####
I think Bosch is using my phone to keep track of the speed of my bike to determine if I have a speed hack or not. It's like Bosch being a state owned company, as it feels the need to police the users in this way. You limited the bike at 25, stop at that, nobody requires you to make advanced algorithms and cross check with your filthy app to impose the limit! You should put your own limit on what you can do, track, etc with the owners bike. 1984 called you, they want their methods back!
perfect
connects to my new Cube Reaction Pro 800 ok. Has a ton of useful features. Boosting Torque is really useful, but it also allows you to reduce it, which might help extend battery range on those less arduous rides. love the ability to edit the bike Display to suit the needs of yr ride.
I was being rash as usual. While I'm pretty sure my data is being stolen, the nearby devices functionality is being killed in the background by Oneplus's incredibly horrible battery management. There is no way of keeping an app alive even with all the counter measures like "allow background" or "lock app".
I find it insulting that you want to sell a subscription to get the full functionality of a product that I have already bought. regular updates is what I expect from a high quality product. just check out your competition they have apps with more functions and without subscription. I decided for Bosch because of high quality hardware. maybe next time I will decide for a different engine because they don't try to trap me in a subscription.
The 2 star rating isn't necessarily for the app itself because the app works good and is easy to use. The 2 star rating is because we can't pair the same bike to our phone's individual Flow apps. She uses her Ebike 80% of the time. I use it 20% of the time. Only her Flow app is usable because the serial # is tied to HER Flow app. In order for me to connect the bike to my Flow app, I'd have to delete the bike from her Flow app.
used to be good but it has stopped tracking my bike rides
There's no way of adjusting the automatic ride stopping time. There are instructions but that feature is not in the app. Cube Reaction Pro App version 1.37.2
we need google map to intergated and function with the connect module gps tracker
Let users customize content of the top bar on the display. The kiox 300 is not very large. Displaying the current riding mode on every screen wastes spaces and is redundant. The Mode RGB on the control unit is enough. Especially on the maps navigation screen that top bar would be very useful to display current speed instead, leaving enough space for the map.
Ok
Offers great battery protection and up to date information over location of bike. Also great statistical info over individual rides and map routes. Definitely recommend it to everyone as overall a super app and simple to use.
It's pathetic that Bosch still does not have a Wear OS app for transmitting heart rate data. I am considering replacing the head unit with one from Garmin.
It is an ok app. Gives general information, probably the same as all other apps. If you pay extra it allows you to lock the bike electrics & battery, how much of a safety feature that is I dont really know. It is slow to update rides & ride information, it appears to upload info to the app over night, why it isn't automatically done once you finish a ride I dont know.
update, this has been rectified. the only trouble now if I plan a route and I'm following the route, if there's some sort of diversion from the route it seems to have trouble recalculating the route back on track . I had to use Google maps to recalculate and navigate . . sorted :after navigating with it for a while if you stop for refreshments for instance it won't reconnect to the bike so you end up without guidance on the screen only on the phone which is really annoying.
it's ok
so far so good seems like a great app
1) still no permanent button to tap on screen for quick centering to actual position. 2) with no cellnet out in the ( bavarian ) sticks editing a route scrolling the screen the map shows no content until cellnet coverage is reestablished...lost in the woods without a map because the app doesnot automatically hold the actual map area in storage !
good app, forces on you paid services all the time bit works well enough.
ease of use good info.
I would really like to see the following... battery usage, ebike power vs human power, all as a function of time or distance... on the Flow+ ...
was already a great app, which got better recently (2026) with wheelie & jump recording 😀
Not able to use the bike protection feature on Purion 200. Also no health connect support.
lots of features more than I know what to do with
Shuts down every time you click on the Trek service tool.
Subscription for the bike that you already paid for is annoying
I love knowing if my bike is somehow stolen in a way they voids the warranty that I can find it, or if I'm violently attacked for it they can find the culprits. I've had a lot of threats to steal my bike and now I can say with confidence "I'd like to see you try* 😹
Already paid a premium for my bike that comes with this app. Every time you open it, it tries to push you to buy a subscription. I already paid, stop begging for more money every day.

Intrusive advertising
Update stopped the bike from being able to unlock without Internet connection, making my bike next to useless after being dropped at a remote island with no Internet connection.
It syncs well with my Patron eMTB and runs well in almost all respects. Doesn't get 5 stars because of you don't have live internet, the maps revert to a very limited detail and all the MTB tracks disappear. I can't figure out how you can download off-line maps so the detail is present even if you don't have a signal (even though I know that the maps can have that detail which is there when you review the ride after!).AI seems to think there is an app setting but...
never again a Bosch system, it is not flexible enough for ebikes for city usage...
One star for paywalling features on my million dollar bike.
Navigation is generic, not optimized for bicycles, doesn't know many bicycle roads. Mostly stable and reliable software, but many features very complete or locked behind pay wall.
At time, it takes a long time to connect to unblock the bike. otherwise good.
Since the latest update, Flow notifications appear on my phone every time I use Bluetooth even when my bike is nowhere near me and has been disconnected for over a week. Nothing helps; force closing Flow, turning phone on and off. This is driving me insane!
Maps are all out of sync
Bosch use the app to market a flow+ subscription constantly. It seems there is no way to stop this so this is my last Bosch e-bike motor system.
The coolest features are behind a paywall. Only when you've decided to give in and pay the subscription you find out you need to install an extra module at a dealer. It costs ~€100 online for the part alone, dealer will ask me a lot more.. The bike was already pretty expensive, and those features like motion detection, alarm and battery lock are already in your bike, but they're DLC's. But hey, the alarm feature with the *cheep cheep* sound is behind the paywall so you don't have a choice.
Controls & tunes the motor on the bike well. Other features like import gpx routes fail 100% of the time with no actionable error message. pretty weak compared to DJI.
App won't stay in the background so the unlock when near feature doesn't work. Have updated my battery optimisation settings to allow background activity. Reinstalled and relinked multiple times to no effect. OnePlus with oxygenos
Thanks for adding support for Bluetooth heart/pulse monitors. My Atletica chest band is recognised OK and the pulse rate is displayed by the Kiox 300 during the ride. However, I understood that the latest update (April 2026) would include recording of the pulse data in the ride statistics. Edit: After scratching my head for months, I finally found the setting under Profile -> Account -> Activity Tracking. Works great.
The results of my rides are off consistently. For example, yesterday I rode 16.5 mi and it said that I rode 12 mi. I don't feel like I can trust the results.
App will not download from google store
The app is useful but there are too many ads now. I've spent thousands of dollars on a bike that uses this drive train, isn't that enough?. There is nothing in the flow+ subscription that I would even use.
great app
Annoying, an doesn't see traffic an closed roads, don't see the point using this over other navigation. got me stuck and lost in the city while arriving late at destination.
ok app but the subscription options are too expensive
imagine spending £5000 on brand new trek e bike just to be told that you have to pay £35 subscription fee every year to see basic stats!!!! ABSOLUTE GREED!!!
excellent as it upgrades the bosch motor and gives you quite a few free metrics to consider while riding .
Very good overall, but the menus could be grouped a little bit better, it always takes me a while to find what I want. Would also be good if you could set ride modes if the bike is off and it syncs when you connect. Updated software loads successfully on my Kiox every time, but I can never see "What's New", I just get a Bosch eBike page where I need to search for a bicycle?
I'm still finding it difficult to speed up despite that the e-bike is very sensible and agile for use
Essential for bike protection.
Thank you thank you thank you for the garmin compatibility and this last update bringing new tools for the gen4. Could I please be able to have 3 emtb+ modes with very different settings and an eco instead of exclusively having 4 different modes... Loving your work! :)
Junk, can't ever do updates. Always have to take it to a dealer.
Bosch is mocking its customers with the flow + subscription. I don't think companies like that understand how much they damage their image and relationship with their customers for a few bucks of recurring revenues. As an example, flow + is needed to share the bike and allow my wife to use. I have tried for a month and there's nothing in there other than a few features that should absolutely be core and included with the bike(like not having to pay Bosch to allow my wife to ride or bike)
good app, premium not worth it. there are serveral improvements to be made. E.g. import .gpx files to import into navigation to reride tours from other platforms (komoot etc.) premium is a waste of money. those functions should be enabled by default, infact i would not buy the bike again if i would have known that there is a paywall in the app.
Brilliant support app for my MTB. Lots of information and adjustments.
App is quite empty and paying for a motor and having to pay again monthly to get basic features is too much for me. Also more compatibility with Garmin devices (watches) would be nice.
very Cool
I've only been using it for a couple of weeks and it seems good. However it would be nice if it would work on a smart watch (Pixel watch 4) to allow you to unlock the bike from your wrist.
nice and easy
Brilliant app. works a treat. I'm not great with technical stuff but manage flow well and love the control settings and reports at the end of my rides.
Great app, very happy with how it performs.
if it was free , I would use it.
quite satisfied with the app, but it would be amazing if I could choose which activities get synced with Strava, either by manually choosing it for the day or setting some minimum distance limit. I think people don't have to see my 5min rides to the shop and back. 😅
Does the job, but you'd think forking £6k on a bike you'd get premium included.
works good
perfecto😃
was great but there is now so much promotion of the paid flow+ add-on that it is now close to useless. I opted out of communications but that does not stop them.
Generally very good. I once, foolishly, forgot to put the battery in the bike when setting out so the app kept connecting momentarily then disconnecting. How about an alert if that happens? Also if you turn the bike power off and then move it even slightly the alarm starts going off (admittedly only as a warning at first). it'd be good if mo or movements were ok.
very useful easy to use app , would like to have a notification for when battery is fully charged
Connectivity regression: my e-bike no longer unlocked automatically no matter how long I waited (even minutes), and only unlocked once I manually launched the Flow app. Reproducible problem. Only uninstalling and reinstalling the Flow app, and un-pairing and re-pairing Bluetooth, finally restored normal automatic connection behavior.
actually decent pushes a subscription to get quite few quite basic features - it is shameful. you'd think after you shell out thousands for a premium ebike they earned enough. personal message to the product owner at Bosch of this app: stop trying to be a sw subscription company and do something you guys are actually good at - like building hw! and then support that with awesome apps. instead of taking away from that experience with something that must be a miniscule revenue driver!
It works, but it's a pale demo of an app that could have been built by an interested developer. The navigation feature just drives me crazy. It's built by someone who had never used it in this app. Literally, the worst navigation app I tried since early 200x, when GPS receivers were sizable external devices. And I tried plenty of them... Shame on Bosch for keeping protocols closed and locked! This isn't a moat, it's a shame.
After hooking up a heart rate sensor, the app can display it during a ride, but for some reason won't record it. I'm left with the choice to track my rides either with my Garmin watch that does record HR, or Flow that records power and cadence. Please add the already available HR data to my ride stats. That, or let the unit also transmit data (ANT protocol) to other devices - like Shimano and Yamaha do. My second gripe is that there is no way to disable automatic route recalculation at all.
Suddenly all of my imported gpx routes vanished and if I try import again "import failed please try again" error. now I'm stuck in the first day of week long bike trip without navigation function. Yes I have other maps but the simple route view on the display makes my life easier. Not have to check the phone always for directions. Until the end of this day when this function stopped working :) I'm happy with the app otherwise but this imported gpx problem are annoying
Great app. if you would add something like wounderer earth map to the app I would pay for flow+. So I can see all the routs that I visited so I can explore new places. At the moment Flow+ adds no value to me. Menagment needs to ride bikes and use flow to understand what is good and what is missing.
Overall decent but I get an error when exporting GPX files from trailforks and importing them into this app, the error simply says the route cannot be imported, if it told me what syntax problems the file had I could fix it but it doesn't.... UPDATE: the app will reject GPX files with more than 60 entries, I have a trailforks file with 1,462 gps coordinates, and exhaustive testing of decimation resulted in 60 points working and 61 points not working. This route decimation requirements is bad.
The app is relentless in encouraging the user upgrades to the subscription service for the e-lock feature. Without the paid subscription it provides distance traveled, elevation gain, cadence, calories used and other data and keeps track of the route cycled.
Excessive data collection, nagging and pushing for a worthless subscription that is a textbook example of enshittification. If you buy these bikes your data is harvested, your are pestered to use a subscription and what keeps Bosch just gating basic functionality behind a paywall? Not to speak of the right to repair thats being attacked by the "only bosch approved and activated parts" may be used. This is my first and the last bosch ebike if they continue this way.
Works well as a large display showing speed etc. However the app is unusable for following a planned route. It doesn't keep track properly and keeps saying Off Route while I am still on the route and following the blue line. As a result the app tries sending me back to an earlier point. It's a good job I knew the area otherwise I would have got lost and have had to revert to Google maps.
The latest updates have a large heading advertising a paid subscription on every page. It's intrusive and despite trying, I can't find a way to make it go away. I've done lots of rides, I know it's available, I don't want it and I don't need to keep seeing it. I get reminded about it enough in your marketing emails.
Eagerly awaited the 120nm update. Only app version 1.34.7 is available to me on playstore. There is no update for the app available to me and no direct download on the Bosch ebike systems website. Just a link to the same old version that I already have. Heart rate recording Still doesn't work despite buying the kiox 400 and subscribing to flow+ which imo is a liberty for a function that's free elsewhere. My experience of Bosch gen 5 since Sept will ensure that Avinox powers my next bike.
Please stop hassling me to turn on continuous location tracking. I turned it off because I want to choose when my data is harvested. the nagging 'reminders' are extremely irritating and leaves a bad taste in my mouth, hence my low scoring review. Apart from that the app is pretty good.
When planning a route, I'd like to see the expected kWh needed for it, not just the arrival charge based on the current level. I might be planning a trip for weeks ahead, starting with a full battery, not current 35%. I can plan a trip where I'll be able to charge, or swap batteries. Other than that, I really like the app.
I really like the app, the tracking is great, especially the fairly accurate calories, the navigation is also awesome, since it doesn't nearly use as much battery as my other bike tracking and navigation app Cyclers, but it uses the same map, and the navigation usually only routes you on official bike routes here in Germany, which I really really like, since you're not stuck in the middle of nowhere like with Google maps, a dark mode would be good and Integration with "Samsung Health" for HR
I invested £3,000 in a Bosch‑powered bicycle. However, I have discovered that most of detailed data is only accessible through a paid subscription. In addition, there is no functionality to integrate with third party sports watches, such as Suunto devices. Although I was aware of these limitations before purchasing, I proceeded because the specific bicycle model I wanted was not available with a Shimano motor. I would recommend selecting a brand such as Shimano, which fares better.
The new update that adds a "use original route" option fails to load some of the gpx files completely. Even the ones that were made by riding the bike and were recorded by the flow app. It adds the maps to my maps list, but it will not open displaying message "Selected route could not be displayed...". They then bacome stuck and cannot be deleted. Please fix this.
Have been enjoying the app so far with the exception that the last update it applied to my bike resulted in my bike no longer automatically being able to turn on the lights. There is no option to rerun the update or revert it. My dealer has no appointments for a week. So it will be at least a week before I can get this resolved.
Owning a Kiox 500 board computer, I'm locked into the Flow app for navigation. However, the navigation rarely works without my phone being unlocked. And while following a route it will constantly bug out, getting disorientated even when travelling on a straight road. When contacting support, they will blame it on your phone, telling you to edit settings you've already checked. Google Maps works fine but sure, it's my phone that's the issue, not the Flow app. Buggy app, useless customer service.
It has developed some annoying traits with recent updates. Prominent nags to purchase Flow+, at one stage plastering the home page with a non-removable message that the Flow+ "subscription" I never took out had "expired". Also keeps losing my statistics until force-stopped and restarted. Bosch experience going downhill, I fear.
it takes a minute to learn how to use this flow app, but I like looking at my navigation after a ride and seeing the stats for that ride. I don't like that it needs to track me all the time (Always permission) for the map making part to work. I have to turn that permission on and off each time I want to go for a ride with the flow app. Why should the app track me when I'm not on my bike? It's none of their business where I go. Hey Developer! You should change that!
I'm really happy with it so far. My only gripe was the lack of HR numbers. Et voila, you added that. awesome 👌. Now, I have to work out how I can have a switch or head unit to operate the assist level. I have a garmin unit, but it's not compatible, it seems, a bit of a shame. I tend to turn the motor off and on quite often, so something on the handlebars would be good. I have a Canyon Grizl OnFly with the performance line sx motor.
Not 5 stars only because in-app navigation is not possible to use without an internet connection. If you lose connection and route, it is not possible to use it again without an internet connection. It would be nice to have options to download maps and use offline like other app with navigation and also to save routes locally.
In theory a really nice app. Handling your eBike works just fine. My biggest issue is, that I cannot use navigational links from other apps and open them within the flow app. Also searching for coordinates is not working in the navigation screen. If you added these features, I'd be willing to add a star or two.
Awful, awful, awful app. Virtually impossible to use more than one phone via this app, which makes it pretty useless. It means that only one person can ride your expensive e bike, unless you want to spend half an hour disconnecting the app from one phone and then connect on a different phone, which in most cases doesn't work. Bug regret to go with this alarm system!
Subscribed to flow plus, and was enjoying having the tracking/alarm notifications working for a while, then it stopped. I receive the error code 903005 The Data Connection Has Failed. Gone through the processes shown on the Bosch online help portal, disconnected the phone Bluetooth pairing, reinstalled the app (several times) but still get the Not Connected Protection Status Not Available message. So, no longer getting alarm notifications when bike is moved, and can't see bike position on map.
Great app at first. Then, it became more and more difficult to connect bluetooth to the phone. Also, the mapping function stopped showing altitude and drew cartoon-like, crude maps. I've tweaked many phone and app settings several times with no fix found. I guess that either a phone or flow app update caused the problem. Great app, otherwise.
All in all, it's a decent app and there have been some good updates in the last year. My main gripe at this moment, is that the data in the app and the data that gets exported to strava can differ wildly. Avg power in app can be +125W, strava shows 69W. HUGE difference. Other nuisance is that you can connect your heart rate monitor to the app and see it while riding, but you can't get it saved in the ride data which would then be exported to Strava automatically.
Seems pretty good, but why only Imperial measurements in app? My kiox is set to the metric system. Thanks for the reply. Strongly suggest adding a choice in the app. Also strongly suggest the UK/US finally ditch imperial measurements 😂 Also no support for multiple users which is really just not acceptable. Navigation is also not up to scratch. Support for Google maps via phone would be good. Statistics and trip logging are very rarely correct.
I can't seem to find anywhere to log feature requests so i'll put them here. > adding another feature request> It would be useful to be able to set charge limits as you can with an EV, I don't often use 100% of the battery so being able to charge to 80% and help preserve the life of the battery would be really useful. Also please, ad a feedback section in the app itself.
Great app and easy to use. I'd like to suggest a simple improvement to the map screen which would make it more intuitive. Following a route in ride mode is great until you get to a trail head with 5 different trails. They are all the same colour on the map, so it's impossible to tell which one to take. Just change the colour of the route you're following. Bob's your uncle.
When the app works, it records the data and presents it well. Of 11 rides completed, 7 rides are missing data, 64%, that is not good. My last ride, I enabled data on my mobile about 8 minutes into the ride. I completed the 25km ride in 1hr 5x min, the map recorded a solid line, which was the enablement of data, and never recorded the rest of the ride. some data is present. when I compare this data with Garmin, they don't match. I've reinstalled the app after 5 rides as no data was recorded
I didn't find where can we change from miles to KM. That is not a good approach once you sell the bike all around the world. And please don't you tell me that you are following the configuration from the device, this is just a lazy way to develop software. ******* It was fixed in the new version , thank you!
I have been using this on my recent cargo bike. So still getting to grips with the app and bike. I am soon to get a second bike. What has disappointed me is the app seems only to be able to only work with one bike at a time. In order to use on the second bike I have to delete the current one from the app, and my Bluetooth. Then go through connecting to the other bike. A very clunky way of working. Both bikes have the Bosch smart system. I may be wrong. I do hope so.
Too many missing features to give it a better rating. For example you cannot change to kilometers on Android (but can on iOS) - why? My bike is in km! The app doesn't sync with health connect (but does sync with Apple Health on iOS). Finally, the app crashes a fair amount. It's not awful, but needs work on a few small features, especiall the ability to switch up units.
can't set individual route. Does not memorize history EDIT: - can't set waypoints, only endpoint of route. - can't plan routes and store them in advance - Report of a tour does not inclode usage of engine. Have I switched it on a hill? How much have I used my muscles instead of the engine? - can't set units!!! really, I use English as language but prefer km/h. App region settings depending on the system The idea of the app is great, but it misses so much potential. UX is not really intuitive
Didn't get a chance to really use many of the features of this app. Connected it to my new Powerfly 4 and it wanted to update firmware. It was easy to do, and according to the app, it finished successfully. But, after that the bike rode for about 20 yards and threw a speed sensor error and quit showing speed on the Intuvia display. The smart controller LEDs then turned orange. Bike is in the shop, we'll see what happens.
Found a way to have my phone in English and the metric system through the replies here, set your phone to English Australia. It would still be nice to change the measurement unit in the app. I tested the navigation feature today and it would work really nice to have the route on the display but my phone has to have the screen on for it to work and that's really inconvenient. Edit: found the issue, turn off power saving mode on your phone and it works pretty well.
Overall the app works well, and the possibility to import routes (though only via Komoot unfortunately) should even make it great. But when I try to import MTB routes, this app adds odd bits of route where it does not recognize a path. Makes the whole navigation unusable for MTB. And to echo what everyone is writing here: please add the metric system!
Update 04/2023 (2 stars, down from 4): still no option to switch to km from miles in the app (the app, no workarounds dear Bosch team). Smartphone battery drains heavily and kiox 300 has no charging option. To be on the safe side, I don't use "lock" since I might end stuck on a mountain. No rerouting when I don't follow the route I imported from komoot. Flow Navi doesn't have most trails and is useless for mountain bike rides. Please fix existing issues before adding new things.
1) the fact that the user cannot change the units system, and the Bosch suggest changing the phone settings to English Australia is ridiculous! Com'on guys, it is just a combobox to add with the choice ... you can do it 2)The navigation is terrible. I would be happy to provide a long list of improvements, but there is a limit on the word count. Anyone who tries would feel it is unusable, which is a great pity, as navigating with the Kiox screen would be super.
Easy app to use but drinks my phone's battery. Most features are really accessible including motor lock, ride tracking and tailoring the power settings. Same with pairing the tracking to Strava and Komoot. It's a pity it doesn't link in with Garmin. It would be good if the ride stats said whether the 'max power' and 'average power' is the rider or the motor. Knocked off a star as it drains more battery than any other background app.
I've only just started using this app so I might up the star rating when I use it more. The route tracking plot contains a load of straight lines and they are miles outside of where I've been riding even though I've had the phone in contact with the bike for the duration of the ride. It would be good to use SI units rather than imperial, I've not found out how to change them yet.
Seems decent so far. After using the app for a day I can see there are a couple of features I find very useful. However, I can't change the distance units in the app, and it looks like the units are automatically set for the region/language selected for the app. Changing the language now does not seem possible (?), which means that while my bike's units are in km/h (sensible), the app on my phone converts everything to miles (which I can't make heads or tails of). Would love to see this changed.
Surprised no-one else has reviewed this app yet. The functionality seems good but it has one major flaw -it is a battery hog! I've had to restrict its battery use to stop it from draining my phone during the day when I'm not even using it. The problem with that solution is that it won't connect to my bike automatically, drastically reducing its functionality. It's great that I can update the bike from the app, but I wish I could use it to remove the annoying "avoid distracted driving" warning.
Things work fine in general, but some real basics are surprisingly absent. Specifically, In am using the app in Germany in a phone set up in English. Now I have to live with feet and miles as units. Switching units between imperial and metric in app settings is a basic standard even the most simple apps offer nowadays. Not the Flow App. Second, my wife has 2 e-bikes with smart system. However, only one bike can be set up! She cannot use the flow app or smartphone grip on the second bike!
