Terrible app. There is literally no functionality unless you pay for it, the "free" version is a straight-up lie. I will never pay for an app from such greedy developers.

I cancelled and they still charged me. I cancelled my subscription last year after I realized that this didn't work for us. Just found out that they still charged me again. Don't purchase this if you want to keep your money

somehow I have a second personal calendar and I don't even want it. I only want my one group calendar. how do I delete the personal calendar? I cannot find any way to do it.

Poor and frustrating! I was never allowed to register my number. It tells me number blocked because of multiple attempts even when I attempted once. Nonsense!

It was working great, but now won't log in. It won't accept the confirmation code and now claims to have blocked my phone number due to trying it too many times.

I've been locked out of my account and when I try to log back in with my number, the code that gets texted to me doesn't work, no idea how to get this sorted. no help line or email address to contact

Amazing idea. Saves a lot of my brain energy. Helps me schedule my day and reach my goal. One suggestion, while entering a new event, the app hides phone's navbar. It would be cool if resolved. Dhanywaad.

Everything has been great up until the new year, now you pick a date it doesn't give you the exact date but a day before.

Use to love this app for scheduling a households activities, but now you have to pay to be able to have more than one person edit and add to a calendar. After 4yrs of constant use I will be deleting this app from my phone.

It's really annoying that they removed the option of backdating entries. If, for example, you want to place a hospital visit on Dec 24th, you can't do so on Dec 26th. All dates prior to today are locked out as "out of range." Thank you for taking the time to understand the problem and possibly resolving it.

I had to change my phone, and now I can't log in any more. (Previous phone died.) *edit: I've updated to the latest version, but I still can't log in. *exit2: it asks to send a confirmation sms, but when I provide my number end confirm, it doesn't send any message to me.

Registration doesn't work anymore. The update from 22Nov does something wrong with the phonenumber. Every number we entered gives the message that the number is invalid. The friends who registered before 22Nov didn't have issues. Please fix?

Difficult to resend invitation

What shame, it failed all my expectations. I want something that offers the same flexibility as Google calendar with multiple subcalendars but allows individual event moving between calendars across repeating events, something that GC is bad at. This kept freezing and doesn't allow master scheduling of events across multiple calendars where different people can be assigned to an event and the others not see it. Its fiddly and too basic. Cancelled my subscription. Edit - nope. Still doesn't work

I wanted an app that will allow me to create a new calendar to share, separate from my existing one. This just constantly nags to have access to existing Google Calendar. So that means it's just redundant to the existing Google Calendar which already has sharing. I already wrote this review before and you deleted my previous comment. People should know what they are getting. Not a good look.

Setup was extremely slow. It will not stop asking for access to my personal calendar which i do not want to do. Seems scammy.

Have installed and uninstall Ed app several times now, cannot get to start up. Every time I request code to activate keep getting stuck on "please wait" prompt but nothing happens. I get the SMS code ok but useless when the app is stalled!!? A wee bit shite really 🥴 Disappointing 👎

I've just started using the app. I want to set up stand-alone calendars NOT linked to any existing calendars. Is there a way to stop the prompts to link, every time I open a calendar?

Calendar is hard to manage and hard to find events when you already have other calendars. Wish I could see JUST this calendar and not merge with my other Google calendars. Although the developer replied to this says I could hide calenders I don't want to see, I'm not that dumb. I did that. It doesn't hide them. It only makes them dimmed out like a watermark so I still see the shadow of them and if there is too many events on my other calenders, I don't see the events on the shared calendar.

Beware this company, they will not refund money they take without authorisation and don’t respond to emails! I have used Groupcal for a charity organisations. I paid the full price and started a subscription. Somehow they got a hold of my other gmail account and started a second subscription without my knowledge or consent. When I found out I contacted them, but they never responded. I tried to get a refund through Google, but they wouldn’t help. Groupcal are pretty low to take from a charity!

This is total rubbish and a scam in my opinion, Ur clients /members will not want to join as they have to also pay to use the app even if u are paying for it. Also the tutorials videos do not depict the actually calendar and specs u may have purchased ap does not work as advertised. U have replied and stated members don't need to pay however they were invited through my group cal app (which i paid for an account to use with contacts) and Ur app stated they need sign up and pay to use .

The app works great, I just really wish there was an option to give each person or different event in a calender their own color, that way it's easier for me to distinguish what and who's is what with less difficulty.

Will not let me add anything. It'll add things from a different calendar app but when I try to add things to this calander and hit save its like I never even added it. Very disappointed. Will be deleting.

I just justed this app. There are two things I wish was different or added. The only thing I noticed is that Sunday is at the end of the week and they confuses me. Holidays are not automatically added. Other than that I think I will like it and can't wait to use it.

So far so good!!! But lately I have a bug in the app, everytime I sign a new appointment it appears blured in the calendar and I cannot click on it or edit it anymore. Also I will for sure not see it and I will missed it. I don't know how to manage this, please fix it.

A very user friendly application to share work and keep a private separate calendar for personal events. Just one thing that would take the free app to a topnotch 5*****. Is that I cannot invite the attendee to the booking slot - I would have to pay for that :( Perhaps allow that on only one calendar?

Why the hell would a calendar app need my phone number? They don't need to verify my identity or anything of the sort. They don't need that information. Instant uninstall.

For non technical users- very cumbersome

Described as free, however our customer appointments were randomly rearranged to different days and times. I contacted GroupCal and their response was for me to pay to upgrade to resolve the issue. (I wish they would just charge than rearrange your appointments to get you to pay) Yesterday the calendar would not allow us to access and now 24hours later we have accessed the app but ALL appointments have disappeared. I have been in contact with GroupCal today but now correspondence has stopped.

It's strange that there's no way to view the details of an event without being in editing mode. There are some English language errors.

I input everything and it shows up on the shared calendar. On Terry's calendar you can tell everything is there in the background, but you can't bring it to the forefront. We have tried everything. So we just use separate calendars. I was so looking forward to a synchronized calendar. If he inputs anything it does not show up. Why not? I sent him the link.

This calander is easy to use, free and so useful. I love that it connects with my other calanders but no one else can see them except me.

working out great so far. had about a week. Update: have had this for quite a while now and am still very happy with how it works. I haven't had any issues. However, I would like to make a suggestion. Could you possibly add a setting to view all the calenders you have in the agenda mode with highlights for the different calenders? I like being able to see everything I have going for the day without having to switch screens or tap because sometimes it goes in for me to edit rather than just look

I had notifications set up for birthdays. It let me know about them 2 months later. Not cool.

I used this app for 9 months. I absolutely loved it!!! SADLY I DID THE UPDATE yesterday. I Immediately started getting notifications that people's birthday's were today. Well today is 5/03/2022. It said today is a friend's bd. Well, that's not until the 20th. It said my son's bd is today. Umm it's not until Dec 14th. That's over 6 months away! It was great while you were great GroupCal 😞!!! SAD, SAD, SAD!!! Well, today is definitely the CORRECT DATE to find a NEW CALENDAR APP!!!

The last update really messed up the app. It reminds me of events that are not today but says they start in 1 hour. When looking at the calendar itself, there is nothing for today. All the events and reminders are off. It also reminds me of events that have been deleted for weeks.

Love thisuntil I update. Calendar is ruined after current update. I usually put the calendar on the phone desktop as widget with "light" theme, it always shows my schedule everyday with blue highlight each single schedule. Now the widget on phone desktop, the schedule is all white, can't see anything and there's no blue highlight. It's even worse if I change theme to "dark", only dark background with white words and no highlight. The widget doesn't function properly as last version, please fix!

Love the app. We use it to track our trips away in the motorhome. After the last update, I cannot get the widget to show our shared calendar. How do I choose the cal that the widget shows?

Not easy to give permissions to multiple people.

App works great I just wish we could customize reoccurring events. When you need an event on certain days you have to go back and delete the other events. I would like to add an event for every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. For the same time. I can't figure out house without put it in daily and going back to delete it or adding 3 separate events

Doesnt matter what time I set it to notify me of events, it either: A. Never notifies me B. Notifies me HOURS after the event

When my carrier messed up my phone number and I had to take a new number, I was no longer admin of the account so now I now have no know control of the account.

I keep receiving constant reminders for an event, despite using DISMISS option on the alert. This happens for all events from the initial notification setting as per my Google calendar. I have to end up going into the event and removing the notification setting. Why can Google calendar handle dismissing the alerts but this third party app can't?

App is very good. Easy to use and easy to manage groop event. Only Issue I found that once any event created in shared calendar and accepted by all participants, this app don’t push event into google calendar. So if I use any other app for event management, this create full confusion and sometimes overlapped event. Please rectify this.

I think you guys should add category/list. Like when we create everyone special date (bday/aniv) rather had to scroll manually, it's easier to just to check on a certain category/list.

I have a love/hate. When i remove a member from a calendar and disable the link they seem to be gone. However when i forward a schedule they still appear in the list. This is a pain to have dozens of names that dont need to be there. Otherwise its a decent app. Crashes occasionally. I like the location connection to google maps.

Invited my partner and she and I received multiple spam calls inside 24 hours, I was sent a 'verification code' but didn't actually have to enter it, something is not right there. You've responded to reviews and refuted that you sell people's data on, but clearly third parties are getting people's numbers somehow. Disgraceful and unscrupulous behaviour. Uninstalling this app immediately.

I can't really rate Group Cal app as of yet. I do know after I create an event calendar, add contacts,I want to invite, then select Text All Participants... It doesn't send them a text when I want to share the event.

It works, mostly, but often our calendar events disappear and I might have to reload the app. It started when I added an event that recurred weekly, there may be a correlation. I hope the developers figure it out the issue. other than that, it's a solid app. Give it a shot and see if it works for you.

Best calendar app by a MILE! Really user friendly, you can personalise calendars with pictures and colours, it tells you the weather for your events and it's easy manage different calendars for different people. This is a must.

The idea is good, the implementation, not so much. Many failures, especially in notifications, and what opens when you click on one. The calendar UI needs some rework, too. We're starting to use it, will see how it behaves over time... I just downgraded it one more star because I found a very annoying bug: events marked "All day" are notified again and again, even at night, no matter if you discard them by pushing the "discard" button... what a nuisance! La idea es buena pero la implementación necesita un planchado. Fallan cosas, sobre todo en las notificaciones, y en qué se abre al tocarlas. El interfaz del calendario en sí también es muy mejorable. Por lo demás, estamos empezando a usarla, veremos con el tiempo... I had to delete this b/c my fiance said he was never able to see the events that I posted. I was able to see what he was putting, but he was not on my end. I followed the prompts and he is listed as one of the participants in a group calendar. Even checked settings all seemed good. But he was not able to see at all what i putting.

There is a few glitches. It won't let me copy the link for me to share with others and I can't change the calendar from public to private. I accidentally set it as public and it now won't go back and I can't edit the setting where others can edit the calendar too. Also I've set a couple of birthdays on the calendar and it will set for the day before, I'll try to fix it and it has the day that I want but once I press save it goes to the day before again. Other than that it's pretty good!

In Android 9 and 10 Google took away the right from developers to using permissions that they did not need stop robocalls, but this developer bypasses the permissions by asking 4 your phone number and says it will text you acceptance message. So they can sell your phone number on the internet and people will start calling you selling you stuff

Clicked on day (Wednesday) I wanted to enter an event, I entered the event details, confirmed that the event was on the day I wanted it on (Wednesday), I entered the info to make it repeat every week for forever. I save it. It shows up on the day before (Tuesday) & only repeats until the end of the year... not forever as I set it. I did this same process & got the same results each time. When I tried to add a repeating event on a Monday, it would show up on the calendar on a Sunday. Uninstalled
