it was great, before the update, someone from the team decided to make life harder for everyone using this app and add many more clicks-screens and info pop ups for buying and selling stocks, if you are using something different than buy/sell at market price. it was nearly perfect, but whoever decided to change UI probably never used this app before or doing a favour for competor apps, because I started to check for alternative apps for a similar interface like trading212 before this UI update.

Easy to use. quick banking

Ok the app is still one of the best for casual traders but why remove great user features like the buy and sell slider, it was so easy to select exactly what you wanted to buy or sell, now you have to select the order type, manually enter amounts.. you've taken a great feature and gone backwards!!!

The interest is great, but the fact you can see interest added daily is something you don't see with normal banking apps. The app is very easy to use too.

For ISA (was?-edited) way ahead of other investment platforms & apps: cost& functionality. Sipp started. Not the widest variety of ETFs, good for stock picking too, but that is not recommended.

You know a company's gotten big when it starts enshittifying. They nuked the cashback. Now it's just squeezing users for shareholder profit.

Worst plan to change the slider sell and options. After update it is difficult to execute orders quickly and required more button actions. stressful to use. If this UI stays, I'm planning to move out to other options.

Updated the application because of layover screens displayed at the same time — clearly a bug. With the latest update, this seems okay BUT the program has become very, very slow and unresponsive. Every other program runs fine! Update: Nov. 2. Why break what runs fine? Plus, more of the overlay screens on top of each other.

Nice and easy features to use all round good experience

poor, they make it incredibly complicated to withdraw your money in an effort to keep it from you. The app restricts any management of your cards making it near impossible to with draw your funds. Its a con, avoid.

I have been a happy customer of Trading 212, especially their credit card and cashback programm. I have persuaded a friend to finally use the app, and today he installed it and deposited money into his new account. And exactly now they decide to pull out the cashback programm. My embarassment for suggesting this app is beyond belief. There is no reason for me to use the app anymore.

This was a great app until they changed the buying stocks interface. It was perfect and they have ruined it for no reason at all. It did not need to be changed.

Changing 5 star to 3 star due to recent update.App has been getting better with every update, except this time. Who thought removing the seek bar was a good idea? It was really helpful to see the stock value/number at a glance. Now we're back to the primitive era, having to enter everything manually.smh

the worst buy order UI in the universe. it used to have a slider. now you can't even specify how much money you want to use on the order.

The Buy and Sell screen is AWFUL! I can't see exactly what I'm buying and selling, it gets stuck, and it takes ages! Please bring back the older version!

I was really enjoying the app but they kept on pushing rubbish UI updates, like recently removing slider function from buy/sell page. They are ruining already tested and working features, while the app is lacking basic features like trail stop limits.

As a trading platform its good. I liked the 1.5% cashback but now they want to tie you into a random set of subscriptions which I don't have. pity. removed from the wallet.

I'm sorry, but this new 'update' is absolutely horrendous. Don't fix what isn't broken. Everything has gone from being user-friendly to baffling, and I know that I'm not the only person complaining about this. The fact that everything was so easy to use was one of the main positives for me when deciding to stay here. I just hate what they've done to the process of buying/selling now. I'll give them a small amount of time to revert back to what it was like or I'm taking my money elsewhere.

Terrible customer service

Was a good app once. Gone a bit slow on reacting to market stock conditions lately. Plus IT have totally change how you can trade in and out, making it as long winded as it can get. To many things to click to do so. Absolutely pointless for a short trader. . Especially in micro markets. Very easy to get money in but slow to take out. There's better Free Trading Platforms out there now..

The latest update has over complicated selling. Why update it and make it more complicated than it was before? Such a simple app to use but selling is now a pain.

Yet another terrible UI update. This time the Sell\Buy screen. It was fine: clear, fast & simple, now 30x more inputs required. Whilst being in the dark of what you actually committing to. Stop changing UI. Price Alerts update is infuriating, ruining a key trading tool! Revert to pre- UI update version. simply revert Price Alerts to how it was before the updates around May 2025.

The new buy/sell UI is HORRIBLE, the old one was perfect, please return it to what it was, the new one is confusing and uncomfortable to use

Good interaction

Great app, until the new buy/sell view was released. Feels like a complete downgrade and makes the experience slower and more frustrating. On a volatile stock you can lose out on good positions because you are fighting to to put the correct information in rather than using the old slider mechanism.

So far I have been impressed with the app, clear to use, feels safe and informative.

UPDATE: be very awear... my only reason to give 1 star is they say jp morgan has my pension transfer for over 5 weeks now no reason and financial ombudsman looking into it . double check everything they have lost my sipp pension transfer in dispute for last 3.months keep.fobbing me.off oh and dont complain on the community forum they delete your forum account shoddy company looking to.move only after 4 mths be aware

PERMISSION NOT NEEDED, will be looking to not use anymore except in my secure folder! why do you need to see the activity on the phone? "activity recognition" and "com.samsung.Android.mapsagent.Permission.read_app_info" this means you can view ALL INSTALLED APPS, why?

Was a 5 star experience dropped to 2 stars after the update. Why on earth would you make the process of buying and selling harder. What once was moments with a slider now takes many more button pushes. Edit after reply, Appreciate the response. Thank you for taking my comments on board.

The app is self explanatory and at present the interest rate is one of the best. I would recommend 212 to anyone.

Edit 21/10/26. T212 is almost unusable on my Android 17, Google Pixel 6a. The buttons rarely work and it freezes all the time. They refuse to look at the problem unless you send a video. Why have you changed limit orders to be so complicated and messy now? Old: The app description states: unlimited trades. However trades are very limited on some shares randomly chosen in some Orwellian control of traders. It's none of their business what I want to buy or sell.

Mostly good, but the transition between types of account (ISA, General investment etc) is extremely slow and clunky. Down a star for stupid canned response to my comment about a design flaw (not a device-specifc fault).

The new update makes buying shares difficult. You can't readily tell how many shares you can buy with what you have and you have to calculate it yourself. It was much easier the other way.

the latest upgrade on android, makes buying more confusing - and actually takes longer to select the number of shares you can afford, you now have to do the maths yourself instead of the app showing you how much you can buy. What's the point?

It was OK, support is fast but not so accurate in my case. I can't set my account primary currency in euro, but OK. Non eu citizens can't set thare account in euro.

good app but sell instructions seem to be done at lowest value the next day, so at variable times but lowest of the day????

Easy to set to and put money in, but if you want to take your money out then it starts. "processing", "under review"; they'll come up with a reason to delay your money being transferred. Very small amounts are instant, but £1000 already triggers them to hold it for days. Very frustrating to get your own money back into your verified linked account.

Since they updated to this new UI this app has been beyond buggy. Now I can't even login to the app as it doesn't even load the login page. Do not put any money into your account with an app this garbage!

Great app and platform! Edit 19/10/2026 You degraded my experience with the app. Before, I really liked the way I could place the order. It was easy, clear, convenient and FAST. It was enough to adjust current price, confirm and job was done. NOW I have to manually enter the price. Rubbish. You changed Lexus to Toyota.

What on earth have you done with the latest Android app update, changing the process of placing order/sale. The previous process was user friendly and logical, this is now anything but. This did not need "improvement".

Why did you change shares purchase order. There is no slider anymore. Why make it more difficult for the user??? Also I prefer to see FX Impact on main page, why hiding it from us?

moved to Trading 212 from Jarvis following its closure and move was done quickly and very happy all round with app and online with free buying and selling which didn't have till this move few months ago now

Can not sell my funds in a Pie , I have followed the documentation, watched the YouTube videos but can not figure it out. The suggested buttons do not appear. There is no way to contact them apart from the feedback email. Wouldn't recommend for ease of trading using their concept of Pies

pathetic UI after update. portfolio can not be seen without swiping 2 3 times and open transaction doesn't tell you if buy or sell. update - They fixed it. Update 15Oct2026, when you click on bell icon in app, it doesn't do anything and gets stuck, I have to clear cache as and when I fave this.

Been using a few years. All of a sudden doesn't recognise me. Send me a code. Doesn't work. Got to start again, find my driving licence, photos of front and back, then a video of my face. Fails . Start again, back to the driving licence. Fails. Start again. Fails at the back photo of my licence. It was fine the first time, but no, start again. I'm going to be moving my accounts at this rate. Still can't get in. TERRIBLE!

Generally solid app, does exactly the service you need. Can't give it 5 stars because every now and then the UI is updated in a direction that I can only explain as needing to justify a teams existence, every new update from the makes the app worse to use and hides information that makes me less informed as a consumer and honestly might be viewed negatively by regulators. The changes to buy/sell page is the latest terrible addition.

Another update, another step backwards: harder to trade than ever. Used to be an amazing platform with an amazing App, then they decided to "update" it, made it from bad to worse. Previous time they made it impossible to see the present market value against the pending orders, making trading on the app a nightmare to me. This time they made passing limit orders (the only ones I use) an endless succession of screens and typing, for something that could be done effortlessly before.
