A monthly subscription lasted 24hrs then wanted me to buy top ups and credits. Don't bother downloading it does NOT allow a month access to photo editing. Free trial only offered if paying for the year. Much better editing apps that is a once off monthly fee. There support team are no help and dismissive.

as of recent it's been overrun with ads, and to note I got a fullscreen popup in the middle of editing a photo that told me I had a virus (its never done this before, one of those scareware ads). i love the app as a whole, it works for what's needed, but that pushed me away from wanting to use it anymore </3 (dont know if its the apps fault or not but just thought id say something)

they charge you monthly for custom fonts that you already pay for. so if you want any good looking text in your photos you may have to pay up to 3 separate times just to import a font. Since when do I have to pay Premium to use the edits I like. And so many are on Pro, you can't use and edit your pictures the way you like because their edits are limited and boring

I never got a warning that the free trail was ending. I was led to believe that the payments would be monthly. and it just took £45 out of my account without notifying me that it was going to happen! i am more than annoyed because I didn't want the subscription, only wanted to test the free trail and again, got no warning it was ending! i am now out of pocket £45 for something I'm not going to use and in this day and age that's not money I can afford to lose!

I have the free version, but am considering going Premium. I like Picsart for TikTok a LOT. I really struggled with video and their format (I'm a child of the 80s,I'm lucky I can work a cell phone) I tried doing it within TikTok app, Canva, and a few others, but this one is the easiest to edit videos ON YOUR PHONE. Prior to finding Picsart, I had to edit on a laptop because I would try for an hour and get frustrated and give up. I was able to post TWO edited videos the first day I downloaded it

I have used picsart since 2017 or 2018 and every year it gets worse. I've had picsart premium for a few years just to access features that used to be free and to avoid the ads and AI the app has become overrun with. lately it's been giving me issues about payment and I think this is the final straw. Even when I update the app and my payment, it still says I need to update my payment or the app crashes if it successfully tries to save.

This used to be a pretty good photo editing app, but now you can't even download the edits you make unless you give them money. Not only that, SO many things are also behind a paywall. I've been using Picsart since about 2020 and the greed sickens me. Good grief.

I bought Picsart Pro specifically for AI video generation, expecting to create longer 7–10 minute videos. Instead, my detailed prompt used credits to generate a 5-second clip. I then learned the generator only creates short clips, meaning I'd have to burn through credits generating dozens of them and stitch them together myself. I asked for a refund because the service doesn't meet my needs, but they don't offer refunds. I'm now out the money. Know the limitations before paying for Pro.

I found this easy to navigate for a beginner, and was able to do any editing I needed. I stretched a picture with AI, designed an ad, etc... I could find all the tools I needed, and they were there. I'm loving it. For all it does it is very reasonably priced.

I sent an email to the support team with all documents they wanted, but no answer yet. Same is happening to my boyfriend. I've been using the paid version of app for the last couple of years. The app organization is chaotic, difficult to use sometimes, far from perfect but it was usable. Recently they deployed an update and the app became totally buggy. Its extremely difficult to work in the image editing section, not to say impossible. Add a text and edit it? Forget it. You just made the app horrible and extremely annoying to work with l, especially in the smartphone version.

I used this app for YEARS. it was free, it was the best. now it's all ads and "buy credits!" Even if you try the "FREE" 3-day trial, you have to pay for some of the tools. You are given enough credits for about one edit or so, then they ask for your money. I deleted this app after years if using it...and I mean like all the way back in 2012. Suuuucks.

It's great when it works! I use it for my social media posts, however I no longer trust it due to technical issues, pictures failing to edit. Many a time Ive edited a picture using AI Realism & it states it does not alter special features... It does badly, by slapping a different face & some random model with black hair! The model in my pic is blue eyed & has bleach blond hair!! Not black!! Results are varied.

PicsArt was my favorite editing app. I used it for everything. idk who's money hungry up top but I can't even add any type of font or access a majority of things that used to be free. this is a scam. Previously on the old version (21.2.0) I could add 10 pics (10 layers) then right click on the upper top right and then add another 10 pics and do this until I complete my project. It was very good, and even the layers part was on top and was easy to work with, and now after the update working with pics art is really tough, and one more thing, imagine I add 1pic and tilt the pic to (10° right) and then I flip horizontally it should have given me a (-10° left tilted) pic, but it doesn't do that.✔

Maybe don't download Picsart nowadays... I know this app since 2013 or 2014 and it changed a lot. Many features are more complicated than before and even more are now behind the Pro paywall. You want to make a collage, have fun figuring out how you would like it... and the adds... very veeery inappropiative AI video making apps are advertised there. Good job PicsArt. Because of that I only use PicsArt when my phone is in offline mode, easy photo editing is possible but other than that... well.

The only reason I didn't is because this used to be my absolute favorite photo editing app. I started using it about 10 years ago but switching phones has caused them not to recognize my old account and I had a lot of photos on there. I had originally had an account with an IOS platform, then I switched over to android, and now my weekly price is had been paying for the last 3 years, jumped almost $20. I am so disappointed. There should be different levels and tiers for us unfortunate poor folk. unfortunately yet again, we are reminded that we aren't welcome to play with the "better off".

I've spent years using this app. I've picked up others but kept using it for simple stuff because of habit. To be honest as time goes by its become more of a heavy price for convenience, yet was bearable. It was hard with the data leaking bugs, it was annoying but fine with the AI "features" getting pushed on my face after addition. But now at random times it opens google to redirect me to an ad I didnt click. Now I will assume that is a glitch and if so please lmk so I can be ok coming back.

Terrible. Full of Pop up ads that you can't get out of without shutting down the app even when you're in the middle of creating a photo. Automatically signed up to a subscription I can't get out of! and I've looked at how to cancel, can't find a way anywhere?! I literally just downloaded the app and within seconds I'm trapped into a subscription that I didn't want! this should be illegal!

The app started out amazing, I've had it for years now and it never had issues. however for the past months it's getting bad, the bugs and glitches are very bad. a bug I encountered was that it said I had premium/pro when I never bought it, I was freely able to use paid stuff, after a week or so it was fixed. The new issue is that it keeps detecting that I used a pro/premium feature when I didn't making it lock me out of my hard worked edits when I only used my own assets and free to edit stuff.

This is a very good app even for professionals. It's great for editing on the go and has some features you can't even get in Photoshop or illustrator. I'm quite enjoying your AI interface, it's great & speedy for handling the boring, busy work that takes forever, and pretty accurate on the prompts, most of the time. BUT I've had the professional version for years. Why are you inundating me with ads?????

The app is stable and the tools work as supposed. I do no like a recent changes - that even in paid version your only options when adding picture from the app database is AI slop. There used to be external database with non-AI pics, Add picture - search - swipe left... not anymore, it's just generated nonsense. You can still add your own downloaded pics but it's a few extra steps. Eh, not happy. Edit 3: The bottom Prompt bar no longer always there, yay?

Biblical GreedArt- I've been using this app for years. YEARS. It was my go-to for literally any photo editing. This is the first time I'm considering deleting it. The ads are constant. Open the app, ad. Want to save your work? Ads for premium. Oh wait, you can't even save your work for some reason even though you are using free, basic assets! Oh wait, now you can't work on that previous project anymore because that's behind a paywall too! Here's an ad for our AI features that nobody cares about!

Used to be great, now it's awful. Its filled with tons of ads, and nearly everything is locked behind a paywall-- even things that say they arent. It will often force you to the subscription page when you try to download your finished image, even if none of the components are part of the Pro/Plus memberships.

A pretty nice tool to simply edit photos. Though the most annoying part of it, is that ads pop up out of nowhere. Whenever I am in the process of editing a photo, I am suddenly leaving picsart and then on a website of an ad by just using the intensity slider and without clicking on any of the hovering ads. I am unable to edit anything because it happens every few seconds.

A few months ago I asked the devs to increase layers limit and to add support to use other galleries/file managers apps when browsing the images to edit (directly, without needing to use the built-in file manager, which is slow) not only they haven't increased the layer limit at all, they even removed the option to browse files using other apps (which only appeared after having to wait for the built-in file manager to load all the images, which took forever) Not renewing my subscription anymore.

I've sent a support email A MONTH ago and they've only responded that sending more emails won't get my issue resolved faster, and that was the automatic response to my initial email. absolute joke and disappointment. I will never get an answer and they took my money and took away the tools that were supposed to be included in the price. don't buy anything from them

PicsArt used to be a fantastic app for creating entertaining graphics as a novice user. now, it's full of ai slop. today I went to open the app and I could edit my pictures but the app kept asking me to sign up for an account. why? so it could force me to consent to using my biometric data, holding my edited photos hostage. I used this app for years! It was amazing. Then all of a sudden a few months ago my account somehow no longer recognized that I have a Pro subscription. My profile says it is, but none of the Pro features work. I even paid once to see if that feature would work and it still didn't. Customer service: No response. Subscription: Canceled.

this app has gotten worse and buggies as time goes on. I will be removing my pro subscription. I will spend an hour editing. then it randomly undoes my work, requiring me to hit redo +100 times to get to where I was. every time I touch a text box it messes up either the font, color or whatever edit. nothing is safe from enshittification it seems

Edit: I was informed that they couldn't do anything to make this right. Not sure why I was told to reach out when they weren't even going to respond without me emailing multiple times, let alone help me. I wouldn't recommend. Somehow, even after paying the enormous yearly subscription fee (for several years), the app keeps prompting me to buy credits to use the features I've already paid for? I genuinely don't understand how that's happened, but it has been doing this for over a month.

Update 2026: From best App to the worst. After years of subscribed use it suddenly introduces AI and everything wants you to purchase extra credits. Even basic functions are no longer functional despite the fact I am already PAYING my subscription! Customer service use to be good. None of my emails have been responded to on this matter. 2024: Been using this App for 5 years!! Best App ever for creating artwork.

I've been a Picsart subscriber for 10+ years, & I USED TO love it. But recently I can't access ALL of the features I'm paying for. I even tried upgrading to Pro, contacted support multiple time & sent follow-up emails, yet NO ONE has tried to fix the issue or provide a solution. The app itself is great when it works, but the lack of customer support is incredibly frustrating. Paying customers SHOULD be able to use the features included with their subscription. I might just cancel & be done.

I've been using this editing app since I was a kid, but it's only getting worse. There are way too many ads now, especially gambling ads that automatically open Chrome without my permission. I don't mind having lots of ads if they're safe, and I also don't mind paying for premium features. But forcing users to deal with intrusive gambling ads that redirect them to another app is unacceptable. Very disappointing.

Customer service is terrible. I was a long time paying Pro subscriber for years and I suddenly could not access my Pro Tools on my new phone, even though I used my same email. Some how they had 2 accounts under the same email??? Customer service was copy paste responses. For $92 a year since like 2023, faithfully auto paid, I would expect better help. I canceled my subscription and deleted my account. Always issues. No more!

I've been using this app for a couple years now, and it's still one of my main go-to apps for photo/digital editting. I appreciate the many features there are available to use (as a paid subscriber). I think my main gripe, however, is that there is a limit on layers (only 10 at a time) which can be really restrictive when you're working on a project that requires multiple layers for editing, and so that sends me to work on a separate app. Please consider lifting or extending the limit. :)

It automatically updated yesterday (even though I didn't know that option was checked), and now a lot of the features I use daily are either gone or rearranged and I don't know where to find them! I wish I could uninstall the latest update!!

The latest update took away all the useful editing and retouching features that you can control and fine tune and is replacing everything with limited AI options. Garbage. I'll be canceling my subscription and looking for another app now.

It's great to work with overall, but a lot of times it can be difficult Sometimes you can work on something for hours, only to find that there was an issue saving it. After leaving the app a certain amount of times or for a long amount of time, any unsaved edits are gone. Many times, I have to constantly reopen the app because when I leave it it just won't show up in my open apps. It's a pretty good editor for mobile. Would recommend. I just don’t like how many problems I've been having with it.

AVOID be careful when they put FREE TRIAL, they will charge you outright and they will not refund it. I messaged their email and support. they turned it down and will not refund you even you do not use it. scammy app, avoid at all cost. i recommend lightcut instead i already reached out to the email and they replied: Subscriptions are charged after confirming a purchase without trial or when a trial period ends. Unfortunately, as per our Terms and Refund Policy, we’re unable to issue a refund.

I have used this app for 5–6 years and it was once one of my favorites. Recently, many of the original editing features I loved, such as “Detail” and “Hair Color,” were removed and replaced with AI tools. I downloaded this app to manually edit my photos, not have AI edit them for me. These changes have made the app frustrating to use, especially since many AI features are not ones I want. I edit more than just pictures of myself and the AI tools seem mainly for realistic photos.

Used to use this a lot to touch up images and remove backgrounds. Reinstalled after a while to do just that (I initially uninstalled just because I lacked phone storage and wasn't needing to edit as much), but now even removing backgrounds is behind a paywall. It's just not the same anymore... Boo... The AI stuff also sucks to see.

If you don't have a membership you can still enjoy the app but the membership does make it a little better one thing I didn't know after a while features That can be used without a membership and creditS They will change it so it will need credits to use but You won't know That until all Your credits are Gone. One thing they need to fix is if you apply a effect and it fails you shouldn't be deducted the credits..

have been a user of pics art since I was a kid, and I have always been a fan of it. and usually I just used the app for basic photos, but as of late in the stickers section, somehow stickers of NSFW content has been approved. I'm an adult and I find it to be gross, i dont understand how some things could just be approved like that. and of course there is constant ads and pay walls. though its easy to get around. but having to constantly see gross stickers is such a turn off.

I got quite a scare seeing an ad that made me think I got a virus on my phone! I was in the middle of editing a photo, and the ad popped up. I was terrified so I went to use my anti virus protection app to do a thorough scan. Nothing was found which I'm really glad about! I'm considering using a different app, since even an ad scaring you into thinking you got a virus, is deeply concerning with Picsart. My phone isn't infected at all. To feel safer, I'm switching to a different app.

I have been using Picsart for many YEARS. It used to be my favorite editing app. However, now they want you to upgrade and pay for everything. The free features are basic and mostly useful. They have locked down and started charging for the use of the tools I have been using in the past. I have come close to deleting the app on several occasions, but I keep hoping they'll get over their greediness and make the tools free again. I don't see this app lasting long because of the prices.

Overall good app just don't like paying for a whole year for the premium and then after a certain amount of uses those certain features you pay for need more credits that you have to purchase to use even though you paid for the whole year. that's insane.

ive had picsart on my phones for around a decade now but sadly they have just charged me nearly £60 automatically after a trial period ended but I had opted in to be sent a reminder so that I can cancel in time and yet no reminder came through my app or emails or phone anywhere. I hope picsart will refund me asap for their error. as I have just had a baby and am moving house today there was no way I could remember for myself which is why I opted to be sent a reminder.

I downloaded the app and started the trial and forgot to cancel and asked for a refund as I can use this app with my revolut account but they won't give my money back and it's 57 euros for a year they took. I wouldn't go anywhere near signing up for the free trial so be careful everyone.

I installed this app on around 6 days ago and it kept giving me ads for every edit i made. I decided to try out the free trial which specifically asked me if I wanted a reminder before it ends so I clicked YES. 3 Days later I get a charge of $77.99 AUD. I instantly emailed Google and talked to my bank but they referred me back to Picsart. 3 days later my email has still been ignored(even asked for a smaller plan to help with my budget). Terrible app and whatever you do dont use the free trial.

I used to edit with this app all the time. Now that I wanted to get back into editing, obviously this was my first choice. Everything I click leads me to ads or offers premium stuff I should pay for. And then I try to open a photo so I could edit it, it freezes and then either the whole app crashes or it just kicks me out to the main page. Uninstalled just as fast as I first got it.

Last July 2, 2026 I was charged 1,299 even thougg I dont have an active subscription. I only signed up for a 3-Day FREE trial, and without any notice, the app automatically deducted the said amount from my e-wallet account. I've been trying to request a refund to Google App. But they declined and they said that I need to contact the developer of the application thats why Im writing this email. I wasnt aware that this app is an auto renew subscription.

The app is fine for editing, but I had a bad billing experience. I only wanted to try the 3-day free trial and did not intend to buy the $5 monthly subscription. I cancelled through Google Play less than an hour after starting the trial, but I was still charged even though it said I would be charged after 3 days. Google told me to contact PicsArt support. Please make the trial/billing clearer and help refund users who cancel immediately. Now i emailed your support to process the refund.

I was deducted ₱1,299 from my GCash account for a subscription without my consent. The charge was taken automatically, and I do not know how this subscription was activated — it was never my intention to subscribe. I tried to request a refund through the usual options but was unable to do so. I have already sent an email about this matter but have only received a late reply. This amount is very important for my personal expenses, so I urgently ask for a full refund to be processed

Every other click is another ad... I can understand keeping apps free by having ads on them, but it has gotten to the point that this app is borderline unusable due to aggressive and repetitive ads! I would rather pay for a full version without ads every ten seconds, than to lose my focus on my project because another ad wants to pop up.. One star because a half star was not an option.

Poor customer service. Every time I contact support, I receive the same copy-and-paste response. No one actually addresses my concern or reviews the details I provided. I canceled the subscription immediately after the charge, never used the service, and still my refund request was denied. Very frustrating experience. If your support only sends automated replies, there is no real customer service. Please refund my Php 1,299.99.

Stop changing how the app works. i want my money back. I paid for an app that can change video speeds and now they've removed that feature as well. I've used picsart for 15 years and cannot wait for my subscription to be up to go to another editor. picsart is an over priced junk app with no support, and they keep changing it so you don't even know how to use it. somebody at picsart should be fired, and find a completely new line of work, because your not very good at app development.

Ads prevent you from using the app. Got an ad for some of those typical mobile games that you have to play for a bit in order to close it out. But even after the ad opened up Google play to download the game, I go back to the app but I can't get out of the ad. there's no X to close it, ad just stays up. look for a different app for your photo editing needs.

No longer saves photos when you use the College, since now everything costs money. It used to be free to save, but now you can't do that anymore. Used to upload a lot of stickers on it, but that also costs money to do now. Was good years ago, but I guess I have to find a better "Free" Photoshop app again. Especially for College to add more than 1 photos together. Can't even save an edit either. Smh. It's a pay in order to do anything now, especially for edits.

2.5 - The last update (or two) changed the GUI, which while pretty, has made "seeing" what you're getting/choosing more difficult on Create (past the home screen), and in areas of the Editor/Canvas. Also, basic things like being able to choose border colors are now gone. I've been using Picsart for years and this is the first time I've been disappointed and frustrated like this. I've recommended it to numerous people. As it stands now...

This app sucks. I liked the old version of Pickart. Not only do I have to sign in to use the app, but the feature where I could edit a picture in freestyle mode, where I could enlarge or make my picture smaller to fit Instagram's margins, is no longer available. The whole reason I ever used this app is because it allowed me to edit a photo the way I needed it. Immediate uninstall. Change is good, but some things are better left untouched.

I've been using this app for years!!! And have had picsart gold until the beginning of this month I had to cancel my subscription... over financial problems... but recently started a new free trial and gotten 50% off to subscribe to picsart Pro ... which came with a total of 500 credits .... then all of a sudden I have 0 credits left when I never even used AI!!! The makeup tools have always been apart of my plan but now I suddenly need credits to use them!??? THIS IS SO NOT OK!!!

I used to love this app. anyone suggesting 5 stars for the free version is a liar or a bot. the apps ads are so long it deters you from using it. I understand the need for ads for free apps, but these ads force you to be interactive with them and won't disappear or give you the option to X out for literally 5 minutes. I refuse to pay the insane amount of money they want for the paid version. I'm finally calling it quits and deleting this app. edit: thanks for the generic reply picsart 🙄

Just as others have said, the ads are absolutely ridiculous. Thr developers claim it's so they can have a "free" app. Yet there's still things you have to pay for AND a single ad will be in three or four parts that you have to click through. Uninstalling, there's plenty of other apps around that don't do this.

It's a very good app even with just the free version alone, Ive been using it for years and I love how convenient and easy it is! With that being said, Im not happy with the heavy ai integration, it's gotten to a point where I can't even find regular images because everything is clogged with ai and the no ai filters aren't working. Also I might be wrong but I was certain the free mode had much more storage because I run out so fast now

Used to love Picsart; now it's just greedy. Can't even use a photo from my phone album without paying for a "storage upgrade." Didn't seem to be a problem the last 6 to 7 years that I've used this app, but it's slowly degraded into something that's just flat out unusable. Your phone's software is 1000x better and then some. Such a shame.

look i get that it is good for editing and stuff, but I use it for drawing. and whenever I use the size bar, it works a couple of times and then eventually you cant change the size or opacity of your drawing tool. and whenever I go out of the app to look something up or look at a photo, it breaks! and doesn't save the picture I drew, it doesn't load, like literally it will be that loading circle for eternity and you have to go out and back in and you have to take a screenshot every time.

The app didn't do what I needed it for, no big deal, so I unsubscribed less than an hour after I started the trial. Even double checked in my Google Play subscriptions and it said it was canceled. End of the trial came up and I was still charged. Did a refund request and explained that. They DID process the refund, but it says it can take up to THIRTY days to post to your account. $90 is a lot of money to pull, unauthorized, and then not return for 30 days... Shady shady shady.

A great app, easiest way to edit things and make images. however, I've been having some bugs lately. The first bug I've had is when I tried to post something and it wouldn't let me make it free to edit. The other bug which happened today was that I was trying to post something and it kept saying there was an error. I restarted my phone after trying countless times to post it, and it's still not letting me post it. Please fix this, thank you.

I love the app!!! :D! The range of all the cute stickers and photos people make. It's quite good to show your art! The thing is, though, whenever I put stickers on my photo piece, I can only put on 4 stickers. This makes me have to go into drawing mode. I want it to get fixed! Clearly, not only 4 at a time! I want like atleast 8 or more...
