Zero Stars. I paid for this hoping to create realistic AI photos using my own face. Unfortunately, the images that were generated did not look like me at all. I understand that AI results can vary, but these were so different from my actual appearance that I couldn’t use them every time I regenerated them. For me, it was not worth the purchase.

Update... Will NOT accept a cancelation of service and is AGAIN billing me $20 monthly with the inability to cancel. Financial Fraud! I paid for 1 wk of full access using a discount the app offered. The discount was not from somewhere else. After taking my money the app refused my access unless I paid for a full year of access. Expect a full refund. No doubt they depend on people to simply not be bothered with their refund. This is FRAUD. Period. They need to be shut down.

its fun but I am having a hard time understanding how to do it,at first it was okay 7.95 wasn't to bad especially if you've never dyed your hair before im 67 and just starting to see gray hair. so I finally decided to try it. then they start charging 19.99 I can afford that so I cancel it. but they kept taking 19.99 out of my account. Hit me 3 times before the bank and I noticed. I had to block you to get it to stop! SO NO THANK YOU!!!

This app is a scam! I paid $7.99 for this app, which advertised it as the cost of the app, not a trial. Since then I have been charged $19.99 each week for 3 weeks straight. Now I'm trying to cancel and the instructions only say to go into the settings and "follow the straightforward cancelation flow." I have yet to find anything leading to a way to cancel this subscription. I also tried the link for terms and conditions. It doesn't lead anywhere. it gives one of those 404 error messages.

I came across this app from the YouTube Ad, but no matter which photo I uploaded, the AI hairstyle didn't work I paid for the $7 trial for the hairstyle but it was not working! and they don't refund for the trail too! they just want to scam the $7 trial money as much as possible! scam ! scam! scam ! I have not subscribed to this app and I have erased all my data by hitting the erase data in the app! but they retain my credit card info and keep on charging me 3 times in a month! each $20!

This app used to be pretty good but has steadily declined in quality over time. At first it provided a slew of images and videos to use, but they were removed due ro copyright issues. Fair enough. It was stated we could still upload images of our own to work with. Fine. Now, if an image shows a hint of skin, it's flagged for inappropriate content and won't allow it to be used. Extremely frustrating.

Do not download. it's a scam. I purchased it for 7.99 and it was charged to my account. Great. However, it was supposed to be a one-time fee. Today, I had to cancel my credit card because they charged me 19.99. I did NOT subscribe for anything!!! Luckily, my bank caught it this time as a scam! Understand this was the second charge of 19.99 in less than two weeks. Upshot, they scam me out of 19.99.

Not only did the app fail to give the results I was looking for, Neocortex is now trying to charge me $19.99/week for a subscription I don't want . Once you sign up, there's no way for you to cancel the subscription. And they have failed to answer either one of the phone numbers that I've been provided. Complete and total scam. Don't do it. I installed this based on an ad that I got while playing another game. The ad is completely misleading. it gave the impression that you could upload a photo and get multiple hairstyles suggestions. in reality you get one hairstyle suggestion not a whole catalog to swipe through to see what looks best. once you close that feature you're back to the home screen of generic AI functions that I have no use for. I don't know how to get my money back. and when I exited out the price went down.

Complete fraud app! Do NOT give them any payment information. I downloaded it to check it out for the "free trial'. I cancelled within and hour because it gave ridiculous results. not at all like the ad shows. They have then charged me $19.99 a week! And they have no way to verify a cancelation or get any real information about the app. Scam! Zero stars!

All the negative reviews posted are absolutely correct! One of the most dishonest apps. It stated a charge of only 4.99 but then charged over 10 dollars, and I could find no option to cancel within time limit. my bank notified me of possible concern for fraud but then declined to remove the charge because I had "subscribed" even though the app sent an email notifying me that I would need to "resubsctibe".

I used this app for one hour and cancelled it. They then proceeded to charge me another three charges more than the weekly charge totalling about $47. When I reached out for help, it was very complicated and they ultimately said I hadn't canceled it even when I showed thema screenshot showing that I had. my suggestion...do not download this app.

first thing that pops up is asking you to review the app. first thing! how am I supposed to review an app when I haven't even seen the first page? then it asks you for notifications like 3x and then tells you to go back into the settings to turn on notifications. for what?! what do you want to notify me of? & I couldn't even find the hairstyles option, but on the website that the ad takes you to, it asks you for a binary input 1st, so if you want a non-binary or fluid hairstyle, you're excluded.

That app is now only letting you do the first 14 seconds of a video when it use to allow to string together other portions . I'm a Pro user but also can't log in . It's giving a major scam feel . Almost no added content in years to choose from . I can't figure out how to cancel my subscription because it doesn't pop up in subscriptions. Shame on reface. I actually contacted them and it was weird and vague . Do not sign up for this app !

Definitely would not use this app. The ads make it seem like a real tool to help find hairstyles that fit you, but instead, it showed two hairstyles for me that were not very good at all and no way for me to look at other styles. Also, I did the trial and haven't even had it for 7 days and the app is already charging me $19.99. I am very disappointed at how misleading this whole app is. I am also having trouble canceling this whole thing. Please help me cancel this.

This app does not work very well and is one of the most egregious bait and switch setups I've ever seen. The AI on it is not that great the options for outputs are limited and when you think you're signing up for a $7.99 a month subscription it turns out instead that in the fine print you're signing up for a $20 per week subscription. Charging $80 a month for this base level AI is absolutely nuts these guys are dishonest and duplicitous. Stay far away

waste of money. For $7.99 I got to see a couple of hairstyles. They all looked mostly the same. The hair color option I liked, however, after trying some colors it said I reached my daily limit! It wanted me to pay for any other edits individually. Way too much of a scam. I want my money back!

It won't let me test out at least one feature for free. Why would I buy something I can't use? It makes you think it's free after skipping the payment menu and browsing through the app, and after you choose 3 photos from your gallery, the payment menu pops right back up at the last second, right when you think it'll actually generate something. I hate apps like this. They get your hopes up just to waste your time and ask for money. Instant uninstall.

Horrible!!!! I i would rate it a negative 10 if there was that option . I purchased the app to get ideas on how to style my hair and gave me 4 terrible options. And it then had the audacity to ask me if they could use my data. Do not pay for this app!!! UPDATE***I reached out to your team and my issue was handled quickly and efficiently. I didn t get the information I was looking for in your app unfortunately, but I rate your customer service a 10!!!

Hello! The product itself was ok. Hairstyles were limited. Not for everyone. A couple of shots were fun. So, I give that part 3 stars. The one star is for: They recently tried to charge $19.99 for this and it was advertised as a one time payment of $7.99 in which they received. It does not show up in my Google subscriptions for me to cancel like others so that means I didn't sign up for a renewal. So disappointed with these apps not being up front with the payment options.

Terrible representation of self. I was disappointed to find that this app failed to create a recognizable headshot. I uploaded a clear photo hoping for a professional LinkedIn image, but the generated results looked entirely different and did not resemble me at all. In my opinion, this app does not do a good job of accurately capturing the person's likeness. Don't waste your money.

I thought I was signing up for a one time use, but now I'm paying $19.99 weekly and cannot cancel the subscription following their instructions. Update: I emailed the company and they canceled my subscription that day. FYI, when using this app and paying $19.99 weekly they still charge extra if you want to use the fun features like turning your photos into a pirate, etc...

This is a full on scam. I have now been charged close to $40 for 2 ai hairstyles that look more like a filter you get for your screen. Terrible hairstyles. There is no way to"try on different hairstyles". I've canceled a subscription i didn't even know i had. I wouldn't be to surprised if the cancel subscription button didn't really work. So sneaky just to get more money from you.

The charges start out a $1, then you get charged $7.99 for the free trial. I had canceled my subscription but I got charged $19.99. when I tried to find the subscription that they said I hadn't canceled, it did not show up anywhere. It should have shown up in my google subscriptions, but it did not. I only received three hair styles. Good luck trying to find the name of the company to cancel with, because it's very difficult.

I can only agree with the previous reviews. I bought the one week subscription (attention, it is only price per week, charged every week - not a one week trial!) to try out new hairstyles. Despite me paying, it asked me for more money after 20 edits - every change of color and hairstyle counts! This is a complete insolence to make customers pay for a pro version and then limit the usage to 20 edits per day!!! You are scammers!

just paid $7.99 I think for this app. And I hate it. First of all, the hair styles it suggested were horrible. But more importantly, the facial image showed what I would look like in 15-20 years! That had better have been a one time payment is all I can say. update-NOT a one time fee. in fact, they charged my card $19.99 TWICE in one day. Canceling the subscription isn't easy, mine never went through. So, I had to order a new bank card to keep these guys from taking my $$$.

Horrible! DO NOT use this app! I signed up to pay for 1 week $7.99. I was charged $4.99, $7.99 AND $19.99 ALL within a week! I cancelled the subscription and several weeks went by then random $19.99 charges came through. It has been months and all the sudden another $19 came out and I am not subscribed! They owe me over $80 at this point! I don't know how this is even legal! Waiting to see just how quickly this gets handled. Do not be tempted to try this app. Its a nightmare and it robs you!

It really does trick you monetarily, especially if you sign up on the web, and then get the app. For $4.99, I got 3 ugly haircuts & no more. A bunch more pics for a much bigger charge,where they not only AI the haircut, but also the person, and it doesn't look like you, so already unhelpful. Before you know it, you're paying 20 bucks and a month that they somehow slipped in there. AVOID THE SCAM!

First of all, you pay the amount, and then do not get access to everything like they make you think. they ask you to pay more and also, just like cheap AI, it cannot get your face exactly correct so the pictures look too different to be of any use. I honestly want my money back. update: I canceled and then my account was charged $20?? for what?! no. and there are lots of other reviews showing this happens. losing faith in anything that charges from these types of apps.

Wish I could leave NO stars. Paid $20 to use the app for 1 WEEK (app not clear about the time frame or subscription) because I was desperate to figure out what hair cut I should go with next. I tried multiple photos but every single hairstyle I tried was USELESS. The hair didn't actually show in the pic or it distorted my head so bad it was unusable. And very few hairstyle options to try. The $20 pro plan doesn't even include everything, there is a ton of stuff you still pay for. STAY AWAY.

They don't bill through Google Play, so you can't file a dispute, and they won't refund any money. This was an expensive $47.97 lesson to learn.

purchased the "Lifetime access" for just over $43 And they are still trying to charge me $19.99 at least twice a month. After taking my money, everytime I wanted to get photos, it charges more money. In one of my AI photos I was turned into a white guy. The advertisement said that I could get unlimited photos. Where are the unlimited photos? Save your money. It's a rip-off. I give this app a 2, for the number of unlimited photos that actually look like me, 2.

This is a dangerous app monetizing in a tricky, dishonest way, and Google should really look into it. I just pay 4.99 for the try out, and then after logging, I just clicked on AI photo and here came another dishonest surprise pay 5.99 dollars to unlock and there is no other way to escape does not matter what choice you make. why not telling me that the try out is 9.99 instead. They can keep my 4.99 dollars, I don't even want to deal with them at all. Karma will catch them one day or the other.

I feel completely scammed out of my money and time. There is nothing free about this app. I was required to get a paid subscription prior to an initial preview of the advertised effect. Unfortunately, the 4 results ranged from typical to disappointing. And, there was no option to refresh for different results. I attempted to explore the app tools and features. But sadly...I was stopped by another request to pay. I'm done.

I do not like reface because the hairstyles are not flattering like the adds. It is not worth $7.99 in my opinion. The pictures in the first of the choices are changing truth into lies... or something like that. Maybe it is changing "as is" into "what could be", but some of the pictures could stand to have less skin surface showing..... women don't have to be half naked to look beautiful.

I wanted to "try on" different hairstyles, but the number of options was very limited, and most of the cuts were variations of just a couple of styles. The app has lots of other features that I think people might enjoy, but I was only interested in trying on hairstyles. If that's all you want to check into, I would advise not wasting your $8.

nightmare they will bill you to death and like me you only end up using it once and are so unimpressed you never use it again. then they start aggressively trying to bill you even though you already paid 7.99 for the app you do not and will not use. getting charged yet can't find a price list. I did not sign up for any subscription. I uninstalled after having disappointing results and requested a refund the same day. I contacted their customer support several times. They continued to deflect and charged me $19.99 FOUR TIMES!!! This last one was only four days after the time before. Literally $79.96 charged in less than a month, PLUS the initial $7.99.

Plus a saw an ad showing that it was to check out new hair styles in real time on your head and it shows you can run your hands through your hair visually in real time with the new cut/style and change through several different cuts and style. However that's not at all what this app does! I want my money back total rip off!

This app is terrible. I paid 7.99 to see the hairstyles it would put on me and it wasn't even quality if what I could get free on chat got, it looked like they took a small clip of my facial features and copy pasted it on top of existing images such that my have didn't even fit, looked too small for the head. it was awful, AND severely limited, most hairstyles were labeled pro. Not only can I not figure out how to get a refund, I can't figure out how to get it but to charge me again in a week!

Beware of recurring charges. I downloaded this app because I thought it would be fun to find which hairstyles would suit me best. Initial sign up fee of 7.99, which is not a lot, so I thought it would be ok. Yeah, right. It comes with a recurring WEEKLY charge of 19.99. Since I signed up using manual login from the text they sent, I was under the impression that it would be accessible via Google Play. I couldn't find a subscription, therefore, can't be canceled. Had to call my bank to help me.

They say it's free and then they charge me 7.99. Then a couple of weeks later they charge me 19.99. Where's the free part? After I used it once why would I need a continuing subscription. Rip off. Downloaded for hairstyles. While it's funny to see some of the different ones on me, most are completely unrealistic. I uploaded a photo and I what I get are these long, luxurious hair styles. Great, except I have fine, shoulder length hair lol. And it's $7.99 for a week! Unless you plan to use this for complete fun & nothing serious, it's not worth it, in my opinion.

I needed a professional head shot for work. This app promised that. I downloaded the app and had to pay 7.99 to use it. No problem. Once I had uploaded some photos it came back with not one professional photo. Just some random AI photos of me. If I wanted to get the professional photos now I had to pay more. I said no thanks and went over to Gemini and produced the photo for free. Fast forward to today...one week later and I got charged $19.99 for some unknown reason. Total ripoff. AVOID

I paid the $7.99 Pro price per week, yes, that is the weekly charge. The options they sent me were terrible, at best. one of 6 images has any potential at all. I tried to play with the colors (which were awful), the length, and find different styles. Literally, one of the very first 6 was the only one with miniscule merit. I sent an email to cancel my subscription immediately after wiping my personal data and not being able to log back in. We'll see if that raises another challenge, or done.

literally the worst app I've ever downloaded. The app malfunctions and doesn't let you cancel and they charge you every couple of days. I had to cancel my credit card in order to get that to stop. do not download. Do not recommend. Good luck trying to get in contact with the company. I purchased the trial and used it the first day. On the second day, I could not login so I contacted the company and asked that they cancel the subscription. I have asked 3 times and each time I receive the same response - I must log in to cancel. Tonight, they did one better. Now to try canceling it shows next payment of $4.99 due next week. Unable to cancel. Don't be stupid, dont be gullible. Rely on your hairdresser to help you.

I paid for lifetime access then a week later, they tried taking another $49.99 from my account (twice!!!). Thankfully, my bank flagged it and asked if it was fraudulent activity. I liked the app, although, the hairstyles was not how it advertised itself to be, but I was able to make my dog talk. But I can't get behind an app that falsely charges me over and over again.

You had to subscribe, then you only had a limited number things you could used then it wanted you to buy another package. I tired to unsubscribe, but first I chose to have my data deleted because it said he saved data for 30 days. So once I did that, I could no longer access my account to stop the subscription. Not worth it to the average person just looking to have some fun looking a new ideas.

At first it seemed ok but when I try to cancel my subscription, the app won't let me. I've contacted support and they gave me stop by step instructions and I followed them but there isn't an option to cancel. In the settings tab they tell you to click there and follow the steps to cancel but there isn't any and I'm on android. I don't recommend downloading this app unless your comfortable being billed randomly. especially when the resubscription was supposed to be canceled after emailing them

Money grab! A long while ago, it used to offer an awesome free trial. Now all you can do for free is change hairstyles and color, and even those aren't accurate. A weekly pass for $5 ONLY allows access to their "Pro" items and the ability to save your item. That's it! For any picture or video, you have to either pay for each one, between $5-9 or join the annual subscription, which you CANNOT cancel not receive a refund per their guidelines. This app will put itself out of business soon.

I got the original $5 subscription and then found out you need to subscribe for even more to do anything else. I went in to delete the data affiliated with my account at that point, and it deleted my entire account. This means I had no way to cancel the subscription. It just charged me $20, so obviously, they don't cancel your subscriptions when your account is deactivated. I emailed them and did get a very quick response and refund.

Update- Still not using your app. In fact, I bought a competitors app that actually let's you use it without buying the extras. I have bought the extras so I have tools above the basics. You should be able to use it in someway without out buying pro and then buying extras. There is nothing to use, Especially what was being advertised. Bait and Switch. Buyer beware. I just wasted $40 on pro. I can't even use it once without spending more money. You're not getting another dime from me.

First off, I only subscribed to see my pet as a human, which was on their ad, but was not actually something that could be done when I was in the app. Second, there not much you can do in the app without paying another fee for that "pack." To clarify, you pay a subscription fee monthly or weekly, and then pay ANOTHER separate fee for the the pack you want to do the AI with in the app. Total waste of money. They got my initial $4.99 but hopefully they won't get yours.

I bought the subscription because I had it before all the AI stuff and it was great but a lot has changed. For instance, the in app purchases. Even getting the annual $39 Pro package doesn't give you access to everything. AI video is cool but freezes and glitches and won't give you access to your photo videos you created. Customer support is not answering back. I have only had the app 3 days and have had to email them 3 times for 3 different issues. They have only responded once.

Ruined a good thing. This app was entertaining and they allowed you to do a decent amount without getting the premium membership but it seems now that things have changed. There is literally nothing you can do without paying and more importantly now you agree for them to collect your biometric data. Seems like a violation of some sort. Anyway, UNINSTALL

upgraded to pro after paying a 5.99 for a 1 time order i did to test it out. 3.99 to try for a week is cheap and maybe it'd be entertaining enough to pay the subscribe for life fee. Only to discover that after you upgrade to pro, it's still 5.99 to get any of the packets like 48 avatars generated. Sorry, not interested in paying a subscription then paying for every thing you try to do within the app. It's mildly entertaining, at best. By no means a must have or even a strong want. Canceled.

It's cool I'm having fun so far. Its easy to use and the ads have not been overbearing. I would recommend it if anyone gave a damn what I think......STOP!! I am amending this review after having the app for a while I have found that I have apparently subscribed to something that cost me 16.29 a week or pretty much whenever they want to hit my account. It's still a cool app . But it ain't that cool. On top of that I can't seem to find a way to unsubscribe. I do not want it .HELP!!!!!!!

Fun at first, and was great in it's early days. Then as they tried to monetize, they lost a lot of the more fun videos, and replaced them with runway model videos and such. The more they tried to become a subscriber based app, the more it sucked as the app really just performs a novelty function. Despite still having free use (I don't mind one ad here and there), I just deleted it. It's the kind of app you're not going to use much once the novelty wears off anyway.

I got it to try the 48 hairstyles and just to play around with it. The AI is not great, most of my pictures got turned into a weird looking man, of which I am not. Then the app refuses to open most of the the time. Don't waste your money. Not only do you have to pay for the weekly or lifetime subscription, but then you have to pay individually for certain things in it.

Was a great app when it first came out. I had so much fun uploading my own content to faceswap. Made some amazing pics and memes. Then it suddenly wasn't free. So I paid 3.49 weekly for it. Still great. Then suddenly it was different. Hard to add content. Not interested in new video feature. Price went up again. Paid it and still was unable to use my own content unless I paid even more. I wasn't just disappointed, I was devastated. Then it took my payment and said I didn't pay. I'm done. And sad

This app would be nice. But it does not work... even after paying all the money... when you try to regenerate it you have to pay another 7.99... I would only say this is a scam because I paid for the lifetime subscription... and I paid the extra 7.99 twice already and still have not received one regeneration.. and it's almost impossible to reach contact support, so there is no way I can get my money back.

Not so good anymore... After purchasing pro and having the app for quite a long time since its inception it has went downhill. Often the content of the app remains the same ever since the boom of ai. Little to no content... Simple face changing often does not work anymore, outlandish wait times to connect to servers, often reads errors and mistakes. I've once celebrated the app but I've personally decided to get rid of it. Just feels like a pump and dump app now.

Worst ever! Extremely long ads that will not let you get out of the ad. If you try, the advertiser's app just downloads itself. You can't save anything if you're lucky enough to even get to try because you get stuck in yet another ad. I had to restart my tablet to get out of the last ad I got stuck in so I removed reface entirely. What a waste of time!

Redownload to have some fun. I have many pleasant experiences with this app last time I had it. But it is getting uninstalled now after only a few minutes of browsing. The content is very basic and stripped down compared to the previous version I had used last. It's over priced for what they consider "pro". Searches never bring up anything no matter if you search a single letter or one of what they claim to be trending topics. Very disappointed. On to find something better I suppose.

When this app first came out it was great. I don't know what they've done, but the facial features are way over exaggerated and the mouth no longer is in sync with the song. It moves too much, eyebrows are constantly moving up and down and the head is moving more than it needs to. Even on slow songs. Their 1st software better. Paid for this app and all the good features disappear! One star until its put back the way it was. I mainly used the singing faces.... there are less than half of what used to be. And, you could go straight to that category without scrolling through all the other stuff. Maybe I'm missing something, but I've spent plenty of time trying to find all the songs I've used in the past and have had no luck finding them.

Privacy is an afterthought, don't give up your biometrics. You don't find out they require an opt-in to use virtually all the features until after paying. They ask to keep your high fidelity biometric data for 3 years! Way longer than reasonable. They say they only share with service providers.. Who knows who they are, and with a three year retention, its too many red flags.

UPDATE: the customer service has been great and fast, they are working to resolve the issue as I type. I loved the app and had paid for the lifetime access and at some point it stopped letting me use it, and has asked for me to pay again for a week or lifetime. I have my email confirmation from when I paid the lifetime fee still. I want to give it a 5 star review but unless they fix it, it's a 1 star.

Awful AI Avatars. I had fun "refacing" myself in the beginning. I had high hopes for their avatars, yet was highly disappointed in the their accuracy and quality. It also said I'd get 3 styles, with 16 pics of each, but all 3 were the same style, and a god awful one at that. What a waste of money! Will definitely stick with other, cheaper apps, like Voi.

What's going on? My Tools isn't free anymore since yesterday. That tools used to be free after watch ads for a year or so. Now you expect me to pay for $49.99 and a per week 6.99? Of course plus tax. Uhh...No thanks! I'm sure lot of ppl won't pay for that tools. You will lost lot all of us! Cuz of that tools! I want my tools back where it used to be! I miss it already 😥 That is Ridiculous!!! 😡

The free version of this app is okay for what it is, but a lot of the time now after an ad has finished or after closing out of an ad, once you get to to the screen where your result would show, it's just a black empty screen. This happens so much it makes me wonder if this error is in the paid version too. It's hit or miss but for the longest time it's still a miss most of the time. The results usually are pretty good...but of course, only when you can actually see it on your screen.

TERRIBLE!! I would've given this at least 4 stars but definitely not now! When I first installed it there were TONS of FREE videos to use. I just went on see they only give you 2 choices in each category now unless you to pay for the Pro version! WHAT?!! I mean, it's a fun app but not worth what they want you to pay! Especially since I know you get lots of money from the tons of awful ads we have to watch even if you pay for the Pro version! Hope nobody's wasting their money on this app! BYE!

Apparently this app no longer has a free use option. Well, it was fun while it lasted. I came late to the party and now must take my leave. I find it cute & all but I don't use it enough to pay $7 a week or $45 annually. TTFE 😘 ... #uninstall UD: Developer replied can use some features for free. How to review properly when you don't get an opportunity to fully use the app? I hate when I download a "free" app only to find out that in order to use the fun stuff or the results advertised that brought me to the app in the first place, you have to pay. Why not offer a week of full functionality for free so creators can really see what they can do & would be far more likely to pay for the app. Also, I don't do subscriptions. Charge what you think it's worth or compensate with ads.

Absolutely LOVED this app, at first. I paid for the full version when it first came out, now i have to pay for a subscription to get rid of ads and a watermark?? I feel like i should be "grandfathered" in, as they say. If the developers can help me with this i will happily change this to 5 stars. Ridiculous how quickly these companies seem to sell out.

Very fun app but crazy pricing. I'd pay for this if it was priced better, but they only offer a weekly or lifetime subscription. No monthly! What's up with that? With the weekly sub it would come to $28 a month which is insane. The lifetime price is about $50, good compared to the weekly but still pretty darn high when you consider this is just one little app and that's the price of a premium PC game. Used all my free vids and with no plan that's right for me I guess I'm uninstalling ☹️

It's a pretty cool app actually and it works Ok. But the thing I hate about it is the ads. And not just the fact that they have ads but it forces you to watch very long multiple ads in one setting. And one of the ads forces you to play their game and then will not allow you to download or go back to animate another video unless you download their app. It's just super annoying! It's not the best quality as far as their animate faces, but it gets the job done and is a lot of fun to watch.

Changed my review from 5 to 3 stars. I had the App while back and loved it, you had lots of movies and things and now there's a bunch of videos that are cheesy, or composites of different videos, a lot of weird homemade videos. It was a lot better when you can get some really cool movies easily. Now things are spread out all over and it's confusing to try to find what you'd like to use. I paid for the app right away because I used to like it so much but now I've uninstalled it.

Disgusting. Shady as it gets! As part of their eula, they're allowed to sell your "biometric data" , but they do give you means of opting out and they tell you as much. You have to email them, then they send you a form to fill out, then email it back to them, oh and they casually mention that you'll be UNABLE TO USE THEIR APP if you don't want them legally allowed to sell your face (and anyone else's you add to the app!), on top of all the ad revenue... Deplorable.

Its useless to me so I uninstalled it. The animate faces only allows 4 free songs to use and the rest is pro and costs money whereas it didn't before. You can't do anything with it unless you pay a subscription. Totally limited and useless. They replied that they would take things into consideration but evidently it wasn't taken into consideration because nothing has changed. It sucks. Does anyone know of a better app? It was fun while it lasted. Hopefully a better app will come along.

After all of the data mining, doubling down on ads & saving of photos for an experimental AI program... you would think the developers would be a bit more humble. Greed is the reason most apps are recreated by someone else for less, thus destroying the future of creators like this. Especially if you refuse to remove the watermark! Lower your prices if you're going to continue making money off of our data & ads. Inaccurate face swappin' with uploaded pix, has potential though. 🐊♥️🔩🖤✂️

Fun app, but their billing is shady! I renewed for 1 year in September 2021. In November, they increased their yearly price and billed me again for the year, less than two months after I renewed at the old price, so basically got less than 90 days for the year I paid for. Not cool. *Edit - as a result of this review, instead of honoring initial annual renewal from September and crediting the double billing, they refunded the lesser amount and left the higher second charge intact. SHADY.

The app is free to download but you can only use it 3 times. Unless you pay 2$ A WEEK, or 24$ a year. At that point, don't even make the app free. You might as well just have people buy the app from the start. Though the app did a pretty good job at swapping the faces I don't recommend downloading it unless you want to pay 2$ a week. Which can definitely add up in the long run.

I have been using a very popular, but competing app for almost a year now. However, I have grown tired of certain issues that result from issues with its algorithms. Selfies tended to result in heads that were too big, it never worked well with low resolution images, and certain head shapes and/or positions often gave it a headache. Quite often, the resulting photo was not recognizable as the face of the person that was swapped onto the body I had used. ' As a result, I decided to give this app a try. The good: The algorithm is better programmed, and has none of the issues of the competitor. The bad: Low resolution output. I have never had an image output that was more than 720x on the largest side, when the input was a rather high resolution image. The images are also very poor quality. The watermarks. Yes, that's a thing everyone is complaining about, and I can see why. It has covered the face and/or head on every image without much copy space that I have used. I can see their reasoning in having them (I'm sure they've probably been sued over a celebrity "fake" or something like that); but my photos never leave my phone and are never shared. The UI is cluttered and busy, especially the main page. In conclusion, I think it is a decent app; but I think it's too expensive. While the other app (FaceApp, I might add) wasn't as good with face swapping; it did offer other features such as being able to change certain facial features, add/remove makeup, change hairstyles, add/remove glasses, change age, change hair color, and swap gender as well as general photo editing stuff like changing background and improving the photo. It was only $5 more a year. Here, basically the only thing you can do is swap faces and share them. Some of these features should be added to help justify its cost. I subscribed simply because it worked better.

I paid for a full annual membership, only one month later to have the app ramsay I needed to pay again. I contacted tech support and while they said they would report the issue, they advised me to reinstall the app. Doing so caused the app to lose all my information including my faves,, creations and memory of the annual subscription. I feel ripped off.

Made one. It looked NOTHING like me. Didn't post it. Un-installed app. Months later discovered I'm getting charged weekly for an app I did not use and had un-installed! 😣 Update: It would have been a thing to have that option easily available. Yes I know how subscriptions work. Also, I'm just coming back here to see how I could get in touch with someone, after another charge. I will contact the email address provided.

Cancelled my Pro Subscription (monthly) I've had since the summer. Same problem as everyone else, Pro subscriber, but limited to 10 refaces, then asked to upgrade to Pro. Until they get that fixed, if they do, it's a scam for more money. Otherwise it was a good app. I also uninstalled and reinstalled like others said, didn't fix a thing. If it's fixed, i might re-up my sub, but not until and if that happens.

Pay for ads? I accidentally failed to cancel trial on time so I got stuck with a ~$21/year fee. So, I figured I'd make the most of it. A few pictures in and I'm hit with a $25/year or $5/month fee. What did I just spend $21+ per year for?!? Very dishonest fees. Neat app, but I can't deal with your dishonest pay plan. Either charge me to use, or make it free. Don't make me pay $21/year then want to charge me again.

I paid for the unlimited use on the 10th, now I'm getting the "you've run out of refaces plz subscribe" ummm, I AM subscribed. I hit the button for another month, and it tells me I'm already subscribed, and get the "yaaaay, enjoy your unlimited use" or whatever it says. I tried to email you guys about it, with screenshots of all I've said here, including confirmation numbers. I honestly love the app, and was going to purchase the year, but not if this issue isn't fixed.

I paid the yearly subscription and the app told me a couple days later my free use was up that I had to wait. As if my subscription didnt exist. But my money was definitely gone. So when I asked to fix it, they just gave me the money back. Thanks for the help, i actually wouldnt of mind keeping it if the sub worked. I also noticed the price went up too for the yearly sub. Coincidence?

Upgraded the app to the pro but keeps saying I've reached the limit. Attempted to cancel within the "3 day trial" and because of what I selected for upgrade it's not letting me!!! Still charged me for the app... Trial was not free apparently either. I was more than willing to pay the yearly, but limiting the amount means that hopefully the AI actually does a good enough job. If you hate it, you're out of luck for 3+ hours.

Apart from the larger video options that take a while to load, most are terrible looking. If you do find something you like, and want to save it, it goes to a gallery, but you have no way of finding it easily later. It's not saved to your phone, so it's on the app somewhere. Overall not a great experience. Ok for a short lived entertainment.
