initially, the alerts can drive you a bit mad, but it needs to learn what's usual, like the cats coming and going out through the cat flap. Now that it's been in operation for a while, I'm more than happy with my ring doorbell, and the addition of a chime has made it even better.

our front one keeps flashing green on and off so cannot see the filming

RING-ALWAYS GONE... Of all nights to have an error, almost all outdoor cameras and two indoor cameras have gone offline with no way to fix or troubleshoot. This service is ridiculous at best. Have reset power to cams, reset router, made sure all things are updated, and cams still offline. Pretty ticked off and thinking about getting rid of every single ring product to have a professional company install a dedicated system. 😡

Your motion sensor button keep turning off for safety reason. When you leave this on permanently, I'll fix the app or update ASAP SAFETY ????

A few months ago we somehow got a free trial of the new Pro subscription. Everything worked great like normal, plus there were some extra things that came with Pro that were cool. We decided we didn't need to spend the extra money so we just stayed with our regular subscription. As soon as the Pro trial was up, the cameras started missing a lot. Like motion right in front of them. Frequently too. Very frustrating. Pretty sure they programmed that into the software to force people to buy Pro. BS.

Slow showing notifications click to view but instead you show me live you not recognising boundaries adding facilities nobody wants but not trying to better yourself at decent relationship with your customers. PLUS motions download no longer working and a certain very negative attitude!

Time-sensitive alerts like ringing the doorbell or someone standing in front of the house are usually delayed by a minute or couple minutes. The creeping advance of corporate mass surveillance doesn't help, but we all kind of agree to that when we buy a corporate-managed security camera.

Video quality is unusable. Totally pixelated when downloading snapshots. What's the point for video protection? Canceling my subscription.

No exaggeration that every time I open this app, it prompts me for an update and with every update it gets slower and buggier. I'm often waiting 10+ seconds for the live feed to load and by then, whatever I'm trying to look at has already passed. Audio on recordings is atrocious and unusable and the new AI summaries are hilariously bad and inaccurate and something NOBODY ASKED FOR. Shopping for a new doorbell camera.

straight garbage. doesn't pick up much at all. People leave and come and if they sit long enough it doesn't detect? still not any good. also my car's have been broken into several times and I've never had clear pictures or even video of it happening because it just doesn't capture the person. will catch a bunny though

The Ring app continuously turns off my motion alerts by itself, leaving my home unmonitored. I pay an annual subscription, yet troubleshooting failed to fix this obvious software glitch. I called corporate support for help, was left on hold for 2 hours waiting for advanced tech, and they hung up on me. Paying a yearly fee for a broken app and non-existent support is unacceptable. I won't buy Ring products again.

Very convenient to use, very useful

Extremely disappointed in both the app and devices I have purchased. Devices become "offline" spontaneously and so often that I spend too much time resetting and troubleshooting for what they're worth. The app can rarely provide me a live view without failing or taking 40 seconds to load a black screen. Almost every other day I get a notification that one of my devices loses connectivity (the app somehow seems to do this well), but offers very little support other than point you to resetting.

Decent cameras, but the "Pro intelligence" that costs $5 extra a month is a complete joke. My whole intention for the plan is to watch over my mother; sadly she had a fall and the camera didn't notify me.

The notifications are a little slow. But works for what we need it for.

No problems until this last update. Have camera that keeps going offline now. Never did that before. I wish updates were tested more before releasing. If it's not broke, don't fix it. Doorbell 4k pro camera is no better than my old 1080p and 2k cameras. I have gig speed xfinity and full strength wifi signal, 986mbs download & 45mbs upload at camera location. Support is ai and no real person to connect. No customer service number either. Will go back to Eufy cameras after free trial

to be honest it's not very good. I rarely get notifications for vehicles and people being by my place. the camera quality kinda sucks too

I haven't had a working ring or working account in several years. I don't even know why it would send me this. Mine are gone. 2 were Vandalized. 2 were old. Long gone. I hope no one is hacking! Plus I don't want an app again.

This latest update seems to have caused issues. Now when I go to view alerts I get hesitation almost like the old buffering issues. I am using super fast wifi which I have rebooted several times so am not expecting that to be the problem.

I added another ring camera I'm barely receiving notifications on the old ones &the new literally none! I've done all the trouble shooting suggested on there website nothing has helped. At this point I'm about to start looking at other camera systems why am I paying for a service that's shotty. The new AI features aren't accurate either. Not a happy customer.

In essence the newly added ring protect trial is a form of negative billing. I've tried to remove it myself and via chat with a ring support person and I was informed that I can't do it. I'm looking at replacing it with an alternate product. Possibly eufy. They appear to be less intrusive. I was satisfied with the ring doorbell until they added this. Really not impressed with ring or any other AI features automatically added to anything that I use.

Familiar faces and person in same notification? Why are familiar faces notification and persons in the same bar? I want to not get a notification when a familiar face is at my door because I trust them. I do want to get a notification when someone I don't know is at my door. Why the hell are both of them tied to the same button and not separate? Makes no sense at all.

Absolutely shocking does not send codes when signing in been trying now for a nearly all day , all you get is automated sad times , I would like a refund as I have tried for a code number over a dozen times now . There must be an easier way of signing up than going through AI

works great when you have internet, but once you don't you have no security cameras. Wish they could figure out to run it on a closed system on your own wifi network when the internet is down.

Unless someone pushes the RING doorbell button, I don't get alerted that someone is at my door! I have the sensitivity set to Max. Deliveries go unnoticed by the Ring doorbell. Call me disappointed 😞.

Didn't know I had to pay a monthly fee, so I uninstalled it....

Ring never picks up all the activity. Even after doing all the suggested adjustments. There were 5 vehicles that parked in front of my house and numerous people walking around. No recorded video or notifications. I have a backup camera that uses a different app that caught everything. 😢 Do better please.

Some of the new features are creepy and Orwellian even for Amazon. Mediocre detection accuracy and subpar image quality.

subscription is a bit of a money maker but apart from that this is an incredibly good system. great image quality, large fish-eye type lenses, and cloud storage I would definitely recommend. though rhe subscription is a bit cheeky.

their customer service do not pay attention and don't know much about the services. There marketing material says one thing and every agent believes another. It's an absolute joke. I could never ever ever recommend ring. Go to wyze or literally anything else in the world as this is awful, customer support is painful and they claim my setup doesn't work but it did and I have the professional monitoring certificate to prove it.

the subscription could be a little cheaper it is a nice feature to have to be able to identify people that are coming to your house also they're nice to be able to use for lost pets or weather emergencies.

I don't know why our ring camera does not alert us when our packages are being dropped off it used to and after this last hurricane it seems like we're not getting very many at all of when dogs walk by when our neighbor is out playing fetch with his animal we used to always get alerts. I'm very disappointed we pay for it and I don't feel like we're getting our money's worth. however I must say that the neighborhood texting is a great tool to have when a neighborhood issue arises

Since the update, I no longer get notifications. What's the purpose of paying for something that doesn't work.

I want to love it but it keeps disappointing me. It misses about half of my deliveries. Here lately it keeps disconnecting from the my Internet. Judging by the other comments I am not alone. please fix.

Dissatisfied with the lack of support received. I have contacted Ring at least 3 times complaining about 3 out of 4 cameras not connecting and not being able to reconnect my doorbell. I have asked to be kept advised on the status but receive no update. They say it's a wifi issue even though 1 camera connects. I will need to find new company because Ring is not keeping me safe.

Horrible service. Constantly have to re-sign in account. Tries to tie into other accounts & wants access to my wallet, etc. Bought as free service with Ring units & now want to charge me.

So far So Good at first I was losing my internet connection for a bit changed to my other modem working like it should got the solar panel for my battery operated Ring keeps a charge really Great I have it for always record. I will Subscribe to keep the Great Service/ recording I feel protected now.

The doorbell cam don't always pickup motion quick enough, The hardwired cam are much better, I have a hardwired cam to cover the front of my house, only use doorbell cam as a doorbell, to be honest, a inhouse dvr is much better,it records 24/7, and it runs off your Wi-Fi and no subscription needed. Ring was a big disappointment!!!

Dishonest company. I paid for the annual service back in July only to have Ring bombard me with emails threatening to discontinue my service if I don't pay them more money! Then they had the nerve to tell me maybe I ordered an add on to have 24 hour recording. WHAT??? DO YOU MEAN I CAN ONLY RECIPE RECORDINGS DURING REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS??? BLINK SOUNDS LIKE WHERE I NEED TO TAKE MY BUSINESS. and it is annoying when you click on which camera you want to view only to have to click again to go live

i would have given them ,but i recently had an ring phone that stopped working, it was working then i went to charge it and it stopped, i looked it up and it said i was eligible for a replacement ,i jumped through all their hoops and then it wouldnt let me finish . when i contacted them they said they couldnt find where it said i was eligible for a replcement.
