After the most recent update, the location services takes 30 minutes to a few HOURS to update the location. Ridiculously unreliable for a paid service.

We used a Bark phone previously, for our daughter. It tracked more consistently and with a speed of travel, where AT&T only tracks in increments, and does not show speed.

This app just stopped working, I followed instructions removed and re-downloaded the app multiple times and it just keeps telling me that it can't open the app and to check my internet connection. My connection is fine. now it won't let me access the apps and websites my child is using, it keeps kicking me out.

Has not worked for the last month. Crashes every time I try to view the usage. Location is not accurate. Upgraded our phones today and still having the same issue, paying for an app that doesn't work is ridiculous.

I have at&t, 4 phone lines at 193 USD per month. All I want to do is set a bedtime for my kid's phones. Why do I need to pay 8 USD for that service??? So stupid I uninstalled. I should be able to turn off internet on their phones without paying an extra fee!!! greedy company

This is the worst location app I've ever had. For some reason it doesn't update with any kind of predictably, sometimes I know exact where my loved ones are and this app shows them in a location of its own randomness. I am so happy that I am not paying for this foolishness. After many months I have made the decision to find something else. My advice? Use are your own risk.

ok so im trying to add a new device because I lost my old phone and the app keeps asking me to scan a code on the phone im trying to add so how am I supposed to scan a code that's on the phone im trying to add ??? and then there's no camera button or button to scan a code if I could somehow. I keep hitting add device & going through all the steps but I can't scan a code on my phone from my phone ??? its making me go cross-eyed . At&t fix this ASAP

I wish this app would work. it worked for a few weeks now it crashes every time I check usage. The app crashes so often my asked if it could disable the app. I have uninstall and reinstall, cleared cache, turned off phone but nothing helps

When I check usage on the kids device the app keeps crashing. I am not able to monitor what is being used or blocked.

The app hasn't worked correctly for over a month. Kicks me out when I try to look at daily usage. I have emailed my issues, I did get a response, but still no luck on getting the app to do what I PAY for it to do.

Fix the real time usage! Activity and Location can cause the whole app to crash!

It's always a new struggle with this app. Always something not working. Currently the usage feature does not work and I've tried the troubleshooting methods. Ridiculous to pay for a service that's never fully functional.

The app used to work great. About a month ago, it stopped showing real time for the companion phone. Now I always get "location not available at this time. Was at this location 20 mins ago". Very frustrating!

app "works" but now we cannot see what our daughter is using her phone for. the usage will just crash the app. for the price of 8.00 I would expect it to work. I did see an att response saying T-Mobile charges 10. Verizon charges 15. but if it works 10 or 15$ is worth it. if it does not work 1$ is not worth it. I use to be through Verizon for 10plus years. yes they were more expensive but I never had issues with my service or phones. att is looking to not be worth the cheaper cost.

Recently everytime I go into my kids usage for there phone to just make sure the things they are on are appropriate l, the app kicks me out and asks if I want to force close because it stopped working. I have looked for an update none. I have Uninstalled and reinstalled but nothing seems to work. a fix would be greatly appreciated!

Been 3 years now, works fairly good on the three Android phones I have on my family but on my daughter's iPhone it will go days without showing her location and that sucks.

not impressed after the new update. location is not as pin point as before its off by a large distance and notification when a family member leaves a location can be off by 30 plus minutes!

blocking a website on my routers settings used to be included on my past routers (even att routers). now that feature cost $10 a month.

incredibly glitchy. In short order after writing this review, I got a message that the developers replied with a request for more details. I do not have time for that. I didn't have time for this. I am the customer, I pay for my apps and services to work correctly. I am not paid to be on the development team. If you want to know what glitchy means, you don't need it from me, read the literal plethora of other one-star reviews. They already say exactly what is wrong with this app

It used to work great. Now it's totally unreliable. One kid's phone always says unavailable, even though the app and location are set up right. So frustrating. We uninstalled/reinstalled, it worked for a moment then stopped.

Originally called family map & had an accuracy of 1 meter (3 ft). Without warning AT&T downgraded the accuracy to a half a mile or so with no explanation. Now you cannot see whether someone is safe in their apartment, or dead in the ditch outside. Better than nothing though . . . .

Location is always off/wrong, companion phone has internet blocked and the screen is not even allowing touch capabilities while my parental phone shows internet is available. Having to uninstall and reinstall. App always gives me issues.

It works but if you don't allow it to do everything it's designed to do it will continue to send you notifications that something is wrong. Nothing is wrong. I need to know if my kid is traveling but not that we aren't using this VPN or we dont want our kid getting push notifications and you can't select what notifications you receive.

Really irritated with this app as a paid service. I set "bed time limit" for lockouts between 10am and 3am and my kid has to send an SOS at 4am because of NO ACCESS! Also, NOT accurate on family battery status. I recently tried to "add" another location to our family mapping and it denied me stating my plan doesn't support additional locations! Well HOW MANY do you get??? App really sucks.

Installed. Uninstalled. Reinstalled. Repeat. Endless loading loop of death. Very typical of ATT to ruin something that was once useful or good. Quickly approaching my last straw with this corporation. Maybe Verizon can manage a proper app.

Overall experience with the app is good. I use the app everyday because of the valuable information you get that helps keep my daughter's safe. To make this app GREAT, 5 stars, I would like to see a app update or option where you can limit the disruptions & errors that come up when my daughter's play Roblox. I've tried all the workarounds & setting changes and it still makes their Roblox gaming experience frustrating. I would like to see less option choices when you log into the app to use it.

I was stalked through this app by an unauthorized person.While I was sleeping or through a clone phone, it was installed on my device , then deleted. But it remains tied me to them. The replied I received said only installed by phone owner. Which is lies. Beware. There's another app to monitor your heart rate, so the unauthorized person knows when you are asleep and come grab your phone to install. They will give me no information of who added me to their account. Just a no-reply email.

was a great app to help lock down my kids' phones and then att decided that they want even more money from me. I already pay over $200 a month... now I'm going to go to another provider... stupid business decision Edit: As I said, $200 a month isn't good enough for you? Also, if I was getting charged before for the app it was a hidden fee, which is sketchy, to say the least.

IMMEDIATE LOSS OF INFO!!! Because we have Android and iphones in our family this was the best choice. We used it for almost 2 years. A couple of days ago I missed 1 auto-payment. There was not notification except a text message that said,"YOUR ACCOUNT IS CANCELLED" I immediately paid it. Whenever I logged into the app ALL of my family information was gone. All the family members. All the saved locations. ALL OF IT. If I had a different option I definitely would go with that option instead.

Installing the app completely blocked all internet access for the whole phone including important apps used for school, even when I chose to allow internet (guessing its a VPN issue). Support was useless-walked me thru steps of how to delete the app, then acted like it fixed my problem. Also, cannot view app activity for phone or allow specific apps-just general categories can be allowed or blocked. Canceling was easy tho, hope its not on bill

this app, even the paid version is absolutely worthless. it lets ALL calls through, even the very few ones it marks as spam. it totally supports spammers using spoofed numbers and encourages their use in fraud. and YES I HAVE MY SETTINGS CORRECT!!!!

Bs app its there to collect your data and sell it. This is what I'm trying to get away from.. Selling data is the reason we all get these scam calls constantly.

the app says it's free. but the first prompt you'll get is to give them your credit card and they will tell you the first 30 days are free. that's false advertisement. the video clearly states the app is free and if you would like to upgrade to premium that is when it cost you.

I've only had this app for a day and I already hate it. What am I paying 7.99 for if it doesn't even work? I've uninstalled and reinstalled this app,unplugged and replugged my router. The VPN is active, but still not working. I've done the necessary pairing with my child's phone and it still won't work. And yes, before you even ask, "I've turned off the phone and turned it back on again". This app isn't as straight forward as it appears or likes it's customers to believe. Yes, the app is updated

just recently been having problems with the alerts. I shut off certain notifications for certain people at certain locations and when I go back in it automatically turned notifications for other family. extremely frustrating! no answer anywhere and no update required. update: is up to date and still has problems.

ZERO STARS! Minors don't need a code to uninstall the app if they decide they want to go over their internet time and uninstall the app they can! You get a notification telling you they're trying to uninstall it. This is probably the worst parental control app I've ever seen constantly says there's location setting issues when there aren't. Using find my kid now for $44 for the entire year, I can see EVERYTHING my kid does, read texts, see app use n where they are and movement in real time!

The app remained on controlled settings even after canceling account and removing the app. We are not able to reset phone or go back to normal settings. called AT&T and they recommended we contact developer but no info on developer and page takes me to AT&T. Please help.

needs a little improvement on providing info on how to use. it lags quite a bit. when selecting some preferences it completely blocks connection.

I can't even log in. It says "Unable to complete your request. Try again later." Tried calling ATT and they just made me wait for half an hour before getting on the phone with an international call service before hanging up in my face!

It stops if one of us hasn't opened the app in awhile. Life360 never stopped working and would report the speed driven. This one is good when it's working, but it's not great when one of the family members it just says not responding.

I just switched from Bark and so far so good. I really like the location alerts. I would give it 5 stars but would like to see more features for the parental controls. Besides from limiting usage for my kids on social media or blocking certain apps, I would like to get reports on what exactly my kids are doing on social media and alert me if they are doing anything dangerous. Bark offered social media monitoring and that feature, if added, would probably change my rating from 4 stars to 5.

I'm just going to cancel my subscription and give Life360 a try.. disappointed 7/2024..It was 5 stars, but within the last couple of months, the location does not show on my child's device. They can add time/ignore time limits. Literally press "ignore limit for today", what the actual heck? Second huge issue, it doesn't limit any app usage in a blanket sense besides internet connection. They can go on any app that doesn't require internet as well as text and make calls. It says so in their faq. I'm sure they'll say, well of course it doesn't do what it says it doesn't do. But what's the point of "bedtime" if it's a suggestion? Seeing other reviews, it's good for finding your kid.

this app was preinstalled to my husband's phone. we never consented to charges which has been charging for year since 2022 7.99/mo. ATt won't reimburse the charges from their preinstalled app that we never agreed to charges from In response to Develper... AT&T told me that it is preinstalled. I am not able to un-install the app from his phone. We have never used that app one time. The option does not appear for uninstall.
