love costco but the app needs major help

I love My Brandon Fla Store . they are awesome. very professional. the stores always clean in the bathrooms and very helpful employees all around in general. in the cashiers are awesome 👍

Trash App, won't load shopping cart, will freeze when you click on an Item in the cart then try to go back to cart. What a waste of time.

Love the improvements to the app, unfortunately the app has since decided that it can't get my membership information. So I am not able to use all features and actually had to get a new membership card because it won't pull up my virtual card anymore. The app has updated several times, and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling... nothing has helped so far.

I could forgive all the stupid parts of this app if you included a viable search function in the purchases tab. right now it's so stupid I know a man has to design it. Please make it functional like Amazon, where you can search by key word. This isn't rocket surgery.

Good app in general. Wish there was a way to hide ad notifications while leaving on delivery notifications. Seems like it's all or nothing for notifications.

Her name is Maria she holds position of working at the front desk register She snatched my phone out of my hand insisted that I apply for a credit after I told her I was unemployed. Maria took it upon herself to stroll through my Photo Gallery and I asked for my phone back she would not give it to me. She pursued to fill out a application for a credit card after I told her I was not working /lied I made 100,000.00 Civil Suit complaint is file

The app is slow and clunky. Things are hard to find and some pages take forever to load (and some just don't load at all). I has some useful features, but they often take so long to find and load that it's faster to just do things things the old fashion way.

Great to use for My Shopping List, I can also see what deals are on at the moment very easily. 11/2026 updates, still like the app, but the Shopping List has gotten so much worse. The app tries to keep you from shopping.

I use this app often and its decent! Only thing is that everytime you hit back from looking at a product, it doesnt work and it takes you to main screen where have to start search over again or scroll all the way back to where you were in your search. Ive gotten frustrated about this. Other than that its fine and usually has the products correctly shown in stock. Prices ofcourse are higher than in store.

ok for orders, but have a hard time placing an order as it went to oops something went wrong a few times.

Mostly works, but: 1: Live chat is super buggy. Keyboard covers half the screen, including the input box. Also affects other forms including, entertainingly, bug reports 2: Distinction between warehouse and in-store support is outdated and uniformly disappointing, compared with competitors. 3: And this Google Play Store listing directs support requests to an unmonitored mailbox.

as a member it's nice to order many items that you do not have the time to just have it delivered. Two day delivery costs more but sometimes comes in one day. We are finding items that now are not in store but available online, positive.

Extremely glitchy app does not allow multiple windows to open on my phone Costco's persistence. In trying to force us into the technological BS is really getting old. I hate having to scan my card when I go into the physical store.And I hate the fact that the app is terrible to use. making me wonder why I am still paying membership.

app may be fine, but i don't want it forced on me. I have enough apps I don't want another.

All the employees are friendly and helpful, and I have purchased many items because of the samples they serve; many items I would not have purchased before sampling. The employees at checkout are fast and so friendly, I also appreciate the pre-scan option, it saves time waiting in line. Another really important (for me) point is how big the parking spots are! KUDOS for that!👍. I also want to say the gas pump attendants are awesome; so quick and happy to help if I need it. 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟😀

able to find items not in the store

I love the bulk items that I go back for and the gas prices right now are lower than others. very convenient that I can go every two weeks to get my items and gas all in one trip. The executive membership has paid off already! I have already booked my first trip ever to Hawaii coming up in May 2027. Lorrie

garbage app I've had nothing but problems since I went to a business account. Inflated prices, crashing app. pis pore service. I've been with Costco for many years. Do not sign onto a business account. You get better service under a standard account.

update requires forced tracking workflow before using the app. no option to opt out. almost makes it worth cancelling my membership. Will now be forced to carry my card with me and delete this app to forgo and this dark pattern.

Bugs everywhere! Login fails all the time, cart is frequently acting up, no credentials transfer between departments... As much as I love my Costco membership, it is really frustrating that in 2026 they still haven't figured out how to build a functional mobile app

Genuinely one of the worst apps I've ever had the displeasure of using. Such a large company should not have such a poorly functioning app.

The app has some bugs and can be very sluggish at times. It definitely needs some work.

This app is so buggy; it crashes every time I try to pull up the QR code. I'm really frustrated, especially when I need it at the entrance, and now my purchase history isn't even showing up.

Impossible to remove an old card or to add my actual costco card to the app. I do NOT need to have notifications, which the authors forced on me before I could set it up. very frustrating.

I like Costco, but the app sucks! The design is all wrong. Not easily navigated. The fingerprint sign in doesn't always work. I couldn't find an option for store pick up. Only delivery or shipping. Can't access previous orders nor same day shopping. Costco or whoever, please do something about this. Can't shop on this app. I'm disabled. It's why I shop on apps for delivery.

Finally the developers fixed the problem with Android Pixel phones not allowing the "account" feature to load. Thank you developers.

This app is terrible. The amount you pay for a Costco membership should at least enable the app to work properly. Half the time it freezes or it won't go to the next screen. I often have to close the app and then reopen it for it to unfreeze, and that's on a good day. It does not move from one item to the next when you click different spots.

Ok when it is working, but lots of loading issues, freezing, lags, blank screen, etc.

Incredibly frustrating - I was so excited when Costco announced that you would be able to order from the bakery directly in the app; it was going to save me so much time driving all the way to a warehouse just to fill out a paper form. But every time I try to open that section, it spins for a couple seconds and then spits me right back to the previous page. Huge disappointment.

Might be one of the worst apps I've ever used. Constant error messages. Can't log in.

The app has several bugs and generally takes an excessively long time to load. I've had to reinstall 3 times over the last 2 years just to regain access to my digital membership card. Today I've been trying to purchase items online and get an error saying "Unable to add to cart" with no additional explanation. The store is great but the app needs a lot of work to compete with pretty much any other shopping app.

I would love to take a visit at Costco but what I hate is Costco doesn't let customers go in and shop without a paid costco membership ID, Costco doesn't let customers share a paid membership with a costco member even if the costco member is a family member or friend of theirs and Costco only lets members purchase gift cards for non-members then be making non-members pay a 5% non-member surcharge, a delivery fee and a estimated tax fee on top of the items they already paid with their gift card.

Apparently the developers of this app only have one Android device, since the customer can be logged in on only one device at a time. The Lists, which are typically the most used feature of a retailer's app, are hidden behind multiple screens/menus for no real reason. No inventory for an individual store is given.

My phone isn't even that old, it is an S24, but this app doesn't work for it. I can't even update the app or download it again. Why would you update an app if it makes it unusable? Seriously, this is ridiculous.

I can't even go to my cart in the Costco app anymore. It gives me a page not found error message. PLEASE Costco, put some work into this app.

Basically unusable app. You can't view a cart, add items to favorites, or see if it's even in stock in your local store. Don't even know why it's on my phone at this point.

its never been a good app, really slow and buggy and now that I'm trying to change the password it just not working, just keep me sending me to the main screen with nothing else to do. i just give up with this app and used on a web browser.

search issues, and it's hard to navigate to different areas, like tire shop or rx. to find tires you have to navigate to the tire shop and search that way, and it's different to find. can't search tire shop either. not user friendly....

Logs me out each time but it is convenient having my membership card on the phone. Makes you log into pharmacy all the time, even after selecting keep me signed in.

Probably one of the worst apps. Barely functional. It's been bad for years, so I don't think they really care about fixing it. As of today I can't access any of my order history or the cart to check out! what is the point?

Costco changed their password policy to limit the number of characters allowed. This happens both in the app and on their website. My existing password no longer works, because it is longer than the arbitrary limit. What an incompetent change. Costco needs to either hire better project managers or better developers.

Prices for delivery are insane, almost double. App glitches regularly, they take away the healthy products frequently, extremely long wait to reach with customer service, Costco has gone downhill fast Now they don't even have a simple way to find flyer in app, wowzers

make sure the app is always up for use. shopping in the store when app is down makes checkout at the counter impossible if no physical card is available.

App is pretty good, but the issue I have that a lot of others are seeing is the ability to add Visa to the membership. I was able to do that about a month ago, and after an update not only did it get wiped out but I also cannot re-add it to my membership. I can't really trust the app to retain my info after an update, so for now it's good to just browse their catalog.

Great store, but the app is completely broken. Login errors won't let me in, and the password reset link just leads to a blank white screen. Please fix these stupid issues ASAP so customers can actually use the app!
