ordered 2 items from Same seller, one parcel arrived, the other didn't. ebay were quick to provide refund, saying case has been closed in my favour... NO IT HASN'T. I wanted the item, not the money. Similar items not available anymore at that price. More should have been done to ascertain the reason for parcel not arriving despite the seller saying that delivery has been made, but not showing any proof from Royal Mail. I think negligence should be investigated, not ignored. Ebay unresponsive.

Fraudulant app. Do not use - your money will be stolen. A buyer falsely claimed I had sold a fake product and was abusive in their dealings with me and a report to eBay was unanswered. Not only did I lose my product and my shipping costs about eBay without authorization or warning removed nearly $50 from my bank account on top of these losses. Also, the buyer was able to leave negative feedback about me but I cannot do the same for the buyer.

Well, it is undeniable that ebay is one of the best places to find otherwise difficult to obtain items. That said, the shortcomings with the auction notifications has put me off enough to quit altogether. Had 3 auctions stolen from me while watching my bids screen, it never changed to alert me of another bid, only when I clicked on the listing did it update and tell me I had lost.

buyer protection is fake. A parcel carrier delivered to wrong address, I opened a case with eBay to then receive a warning on my account. no item, no money just a warning. thanks eBay.

Very frustrating. Unable to use the app, keep hitting an 'update this app to continue' error message. Reinstalling makes no difference. Previous to this, app was barely useable as stuck in some sort of sign-in loop. Could see eBay balance, messages etc, but had to enter password over & over again to purchase. Basically, this app is screwy & needs fixing. 1 star until then =/

Someone younger must have taken over the ebay design and function decisions, ive been a member for 20 years and wth happened? messages from August 2025 seller gone and now I have to start over.... the app was better back in 2023 or whenever the bling took over. I have 1 order left and I'm deleting the app. I can't even get help with an order I can't get my parts for... so disappointing. The app doesn't even work anymore... wth!

This app is a scam that protects other scammers. I had to report a scam seller because they refused to give me my money back for an item that they knew was defective. Ebay refused to do anything in that case, but as soon as I left a negative review, that's when it became a problem. I had my feedback removed, which naturally led to me deleting this app. I don't recommend this app to anyone. But if you waste your free will on this, just be careful with what you purchase.

unable to bid on live as my android is slightly old but my device is more than capable of working. the older version did allow me to watch and bid in the live market place but since updating i am no longer able to do so. Tells me to update ebay app but there are no new updates currently. Disappointed.

Great platform, had an account all my life, god awful support service, grim AI that only understands, programed questions and agents who take forever to reply after waiting ages in a queue to even speak to one, even getting incorrect emails from the support team, praying I dont lose my money on my items as it isnt mine or sellers fault.

after 2 yrs my account was permanently suspended with zero reason why. I called ebay twice and neither of the ppl could answer me why. I have thousands stuck in ebay and they said I had to wait 250 days just to get my money. now I have to get an attorney involved. stay away from ebay at all costs

auction is a joke somehow your able to be outbid when the time hits zero it does not reset the time anymore I was outbid 2 times under 1 second that's literally impossible and an absolute joke how you can watch the bid end and when it hit zero your outbid without a chance to rebid and it doesn't add additional time anymore at least before you would get another ten seconds now it just ends the bid I thought i won 2 times watched the bid go to zero and then it says I lost absolutely ridiculous

the app used to be good after the recent updates and adding AI it is very slow and laggy. can't revise listings cause it's stays loading.

With everything you can imagine to buy, it's quick, convenient and easy to use. The perfect shopping app.

It would REALLY be handy if when I search for something, let's say, "Atari 2600" and I don't get the same listings continuously being shown as I scroll. Yes, my search may have 3,900+ results, but eBay, you're quadrupling that by showing me the same listings every 3 or 4 scroll. Once is enough! If I keep scrolling and suddenly think I might want to look at the auction, it's not hard for me to scroll back up. Can the repetition and make eBay more enjoyable for serious buyers again.

My experience is good with eBay. I love getting stuff of on eBay and I would recommend them, if you have problems with a game you bought contact the seller, delivery is fast with Royal Mail or Evri or Yodel but delivery still can be delayed, if your parcel doesn't arrive on the estimated delivery date it could arrive the next day, I've had parcels from Amazon that never arrived.

Only 4 stars because this app should be on update listing when it needs up dating. No wonder i could not up load a listing on it. Hiw are "WE" supposed to know it needs updating?!

Disappointing experience selling on eBay I'm becoming increasingly disappointed with the overall experience of selling on eBay. As a seller, you seem to have very little protection when things go wrong. Buyers can raise disputes, make claims and potentially take advantage of the system, leaving honest sellers exposed and out of pocket.

I find this app easy to use. I am 74 and have no difficulty when using unlike other apps, where I have to call granchildren for help

The only application I use to sell my belongings.. the security and communication channels, as well as the overall process, it is 10/10.. I bought some of my most beloved items from Ebay.. God bless <3

Applying a voucher that I had was extremely difficult on the app. It was not visible as an option on the check out page and it took me a long time to find the code in a completely different area and then manually add it to the check out page. Set up on a PC is much clearer and easier to use.

What is the point of the resell button? DO YOU EVEN USE THE APP? It's just the same as selling again, I thought it'd be simple - press a few buttons, maybe edit the text, use the same photos. Done. No it's just the same as selling the item. I am so sure noone at eBay ever uses the app because noone would design so utterly annoying and broken as this.

Ebay's useless ai or whatever keeps flagging my listing as counterfeit even though they are not!!! 🤦🏾‍♀️😡 Edit: 10/31/26 Once again my listings are being falsely labeled as counterfeit even the sold listings. I was told that if the market price for an item is too low it also flags it as counterfeit which doesn't make sense in all cases because some of the items have to sell at a lower cost if they're not bought fast enough.

I've reported multiple fake coins being sold as real and AI didn't take the ads down. Why people don't trust buying on eBay. Should have taken Gamestop buyout, the app is going downhill. There needs to be a way to relist all items. Takes too long relist each one. eBay needs to do something to attract more users. ~10% of bidders don't pay. The seller gets penalized for days waiting for eBay to let you cancel the sale. Then you can't leave negative feedback about the bidder.

My favorite place to shop! I feel it's hard to beat how ebay allows you to source new & used, while providing a simple interface to communicate with sellers. I find it us3ful. its almost as if you're locally sourcing things like the old days, where the seller can impart wisdom/experience to go along with the purchase

If you need update your acct info(next to impossible) only psble on app, the website just auto opens the app,. Your item is delivered to its buyer, wait 2 days to get paid, after 2 days, you can't receive a payout directly to your bank account, has 2b a debit card, but eBay won't authorize adding one, cause the info u can't upd8,*start-over & wait 48hrs²

Excellent and easy to use even for an over 74 year old like me!

lots of fake shops. eBay are allowing people to set up shops with names that suggest they're in the UK, these shops then sell counterfeit items from overseas with poor production and dangerous ingredients.

Selling is easy but the AI adds incorrect slop. Listing using the app denies you access to changing best offer price etc plus withdrawing money gets stuck in a loop so you need to use a computer to finalise, fix and get paid out. eBay dosent like job lot listings. The app always tells you the listing is expensive compared to a single item. Now that buyers pay the listing fees, the AI lowballs every item to ensure eBay gets it's share asap. It takes ages to get paid despite posting the same day.

It's just so glitchy. Feels like an amateur app. I'm sick of the constant glitches using this app. it'll ask for my fingerprint for certain actions, but only sometimes. After validating me with my fingerprint it'll almost always tell me there's a technical error and I can't do what I need to do. My "Orders" page is often blank instead of showing all my sold items. And plenty more issues...

Why am I seeing recommendations for items for a car? My garage is empty! And eBay live?! who is sad enough to sit and watch sellers on an app! don't push it on me thanks. Also stop the pop ups! I've just clicked promotions and didn't even see what was promoted as it popped up as I was away to click something else. Im trying to list and app says network error! I can honestly say I've used Ebay since pretty close to it's inception. my mom would order me ninja turtle vhs tapes and have them shipped in my name. it was pretty exciting for 4 year old me to get a package wit my name on it. fast forward to today, 32 years old now, I still enjoy using this site. difficult to navigate. will charge you to promote listing without telling you the charge or you agreeing to it which is auto billed to your account so when you finally do make a sale it takes not only a cut of your sale which is large, like 20%, now you owe extra money from a promotion you didnt know it was doing. not recommended at all to sell items if they're under 200$ and even then thats pushing it.

Changing to extended bidding is the last straw for me. I'm done buying from eBay. The seller fees are also crazy high, so I'm done selling too. eBay is just getting worse and worse every year.

worse experience ever! my account was suspended and unable to ever open one when I only had the account opened for nearly 3 hours. didnt buy anything, didnt try selling anything. and they dont explain what happened. I am moving forward with looking into reporting this company and its practices.

eBay is there away you send all items ordered from different sellers in one or two delivery slots?? even with a small fee charged as this would make a massive difference!!! as this is very off putting and wasting valuable time waiting, missing the delivery or impossible to be home. why don't all sellers add their stock to a massive eBay warehouse? makes sense on the eco all that petrol, staff delivery each and every individual item, really not great?

giving up on private selling on eBay it's not good enough and I haven't got time for people trying to scam me when I've sent items saying extra postage when that's false. I have to wait months on end before I get paid because the ebay community is toxic and never gives feedback and eBay does not like paying you the money you earn. it's a waste of time and effort eBay even for buying you don't really know what you will receive because most of sellers have fake items or broken before the sell it.
