it's okay when you miss a payment they drop you down to $100 sucks. NOW I have ZIP you can use it like a credit card and if you miss a payment they do not drop you down they just put your account on hold until you make a payment try ZIP I promise you will love them better then this one DELETING

I have never had a problem using my card to pay but for the last 2 months i haven't been able to use my debit card from cash app even though this app is ran by Cash App it keeps telling me sorry no credit cards but my card can be used either way So Fix Your App...

I had an account, a stand alone account. Having used for months. They merged with cashapp. I received an email saying $168 is due in x amount of days from a card number not associated with me. cashapp told me to ignore it, scam. I had $168+taken outta my account and they refuse to do anything about it. I can't even close or edit my Afterpay cause of the merge. Afterpay says talk to cashapp, cashapp says talk to afterpay. Screenshots to prove it all too.

They steal your money. gave them my money but their stuff declined. now they ghosted when it comes to returning money i paid upfront. *update they are refunding but in a world of instant transfers they are stretching out the refund just long enough to beable to collect interest on the money they stole

Customer support never answers,the number they have says not in service,I send a email and says page is not a valid page,and the app support,does not respond it's like they block u,and my account is frozen,but can't get it resolved cause u can't reach them and when I did and tried to respond back on the help center for them it's not working it's not a correct page and says email not sent.Got 5 days in email I did receive to reach out well 2 days can't reach them in anyway.So yeah beware

I had paied for my order in full and needed to cancel my 2nd order not nothing this was accepted. I was going to keep paying and just get 2 of the of what I had ordered and never gotten them in the mail. before so they canceled it even though ibwas going to pay it. messing me all up. I bet it will be on my frecking credit as well. so not happy!!!!

i had my ticket in the cart ready to check out and it keeps saying "your cart is empty, go back and we'll try again"...very disappointing as my cart definitely has my tickets in there on vividseats. a true shame

I love AP! But I don't love the app! It wants me to verify by texting me but it never sends the code, so I have to go through my browser to actually use this now that I wanna shop its saying..Download app but I know it will be a waste of time because it's not going to send me the code.

This app is slower than my grandmother who passed away in 2020! It only responds when and how it wants to. It definitely needs some work! Half the time you can't use the app at all because it's so sluggish that it just won't respond. It's beyond frustrating!

I did love this app but unfortunately it's impossible to use lately every time I try to use it with a purchase it takes forever to load I've spent over 20 just trying to checkout with Walmart and when I finally got to where to add the card it would not work every time I tried it just popped up the instructions I know last time I used it for a big purchase it was cancelled and took $800 from my account and I waited for a long to to get the funds back klarna only took 2-3 minutes

its the only app that keeps signing me out everyday. I cant remember the password every single time I have to change it so it makes no sense. the biometric sign-in doesn't work either.

Since the most recent update, the app has been horrible. Several vendors through the app aren't accessible as they have issues loading the cart or show that every single item throughout the entire store is magically unavailable, yet when you view them in the regular vendors app or website, everything is fine. I've been with afterpay for over 5 years and the new AI support and recent customer support haven't been absolutely useless at resolving issues.

I don't like that now they're controlling what you spend with what they call a verification of identity and then when you put it in it says you already exist, this is a glitch in their system and they haven't fixed it. They need to stop trying to advance the app and actually have the app work. Customer service is the worst because all they do is tell you the same thing over and over again and never solve your problem.

App continuously freezes during attempts of walmart orders. Been waiting 45+ minutes for the walmart section to load the "continue to checkout" after clearing cache, reloading, redownloading app, changing from data to wifi and vice-versa, etc. judt for the app to slow down even more for loading every single pop-up: "Get it faster" "Add more while you wait" "Last minute quick-picks" etc.

Very helpful being able to buy the more expensive things I need and actually have time to pay for it. It's a lifesaver!

I love this app and have used it for awhile now. But tried using it since yesterday and I'm having problems with the store I'm using, freezing up and taking forever to refresh.

I've paid everything off years ago and when I downloaded the app again suddenly I'm being told my account was closed. I've gotten no notification whatsoever. This app has been bad since they merged with cash app back after a year and it literally won't let me close my account although all of my balances are zero. the support chat is no help

Just got this app in early Dec,2021, so far so good! Paid off two items because I had only one more payment each, so I made 2 payments all at once! I also could pick up in-store! My wife loved her 2 Christmas gifts! I just ordered her Valentine's gift! Will wait one more month to see if that 5th star will be! 10/16/26 This app is still the bomb, but for some reason you can't seem to shop with Target and some other stores. It's acting glitchy. This needs to be fixed! I pay on time, what's up?

The app never allowed me to check-out after it froze multiple times. I have closed and reopened the app, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, restarted the app and even forced stopped it. I did this over and hour and eventually gave up.

yo whats wrong with yall app right now? ive been using afterpay for about a year and change now with a $600 limit and suddenly yesterday I wasnt able to get passed the Walmart checkout screen. it froze every single time. I cleared the cache , didnt work. cleared data, didnt work. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app, didnt work. updated the app and my phone software , didnt work. Tried to contact support but it was just useless A.I. answering me and not helping resolve the issue. PLEASE FIX THIS

have been using this app for a few years and it's worked for me just fine. but now, as of recently, the Walmart app in the afterpay app does not work. it won't load, it stays on a white screen and it won't reload. I have installed and installed it, cleared my data and cache and restarted my phone. still nothing, it works for other apps minus Walmart. it's easy to use, easy to do payment and the payment plans are decent.

first purchase of $100 out of a $350 line up of credit, purchase declined. why this is my first purchase since opening the afterpay account. I have saved the account to Google wallet I've verified it is in the wallet on my phone. I've verified my identity my phone number and email address plus my mailing address. so what gives here it's like afterpay doesn't want my business...

you hand over all your personal info, in return you get a very restricted and controlled $300, it wouldn't let me use it on anything i would actually spend money on. Basically, it's just a scam don't bother, all the 5 star reviews are just paid bots.

They support scam websites. I went through the process of weeks worth of evidence provided of a merchant that pretended to be a company amd 2 times my order was disputed but ruled in favor of the fake merchant as they need evidence of "Cancellation". When a scam site doesnt give you a cancellation order and makes you contact through email that wont respond its on YOU to pay for it. No product, out $300+ and now having to pay for a scam site for it being MY FAULT. Worst company ever

DO NOT USE!!! They condone and support scammers. was scammed by a company supported by Afterpay. I opened a dispute when I did not receive my item. After giving them evidence that I never received the package, nor did the company ever respond to any messages I sent them they sided with the scammers saying I couldn't get a refund/cancel the plan cuz it showed delivered. delivered to a place that isnt mine. so now im out $800 and the company wont refund it cuz its $800. DO NOT USE!!!

I've been using Afterpay for years. Then on 9/25/26 while I was on vacation my Afterpay went down hill. I had gotten it up to a $3,000 spending limit. 9/25/26 my balance went to $0 they told me I never had an account with them they said it's showing that I have Afterpay with CashApp only and I asked them how when I don't use the one on CashApp. I called CashApp and Afterpay for a whole week and I didn't get anywhere. I even asked could I email them proof showing i had Afterpay and they said no.

new "choose your payment day" defaults to a Wednesday. it's my fault for not noticing that it does that now. but why would anyone want to pay on a Wednesday when 99% of people get paid on a Friday? stupid features that nobody asked for.

I am upset that my credit application was denied; the report claimed I don't make payments on time, which is a lie. I cancelled the application because there was no valid reason for the denial—all my payments were made on time, and sometimes even before the due date.

Frustrating. Trying to get groceries but the Walmart checkout continually freezes. Same with Target. Very unhappy. Last time either app wouldn't accept afterpay cc info.

Ordered item from Belk. Chose Afterpay. First payment shows on my bank app. Afterpay has no record of me or my purchase but billed through Cashapp. Belk finally confirmed my order but Afterpay, who billed me doesnt even know who I am ! What kind of scam is this ? Do not use Afterpay. Beware this company. Edit : They contacted me and said to contact Cashapp support. So for context...I placed an order with Belk, chose Afterpay to pay in installments, who referred me to Cashapp.

Get some human customer service reps and maybe then you'll get a better rating.

To use Affirm you have to do it online for Home Depot. If not Affirm switches over Afterpay if you're using in-store for Home Depot. In-store Home Depot doesn't take Afterpay.

I've been using afterpay for about a year. Suddenly, I'm presented with the task of tapping to verify a virtual card number issued by afterpay. It only happens on Amazon. a close friend has had it happen also and afterpay refuses to contact Amazon to resolve the issue. Their support is worthless. When informing them of the problem they give me some BS work around that doesn't work. I closed my account.

I don't understand how or why I was bounced with my password, on AfterPay. I have always paid my on time, my phone drop and died, and after many, many emails, I'm told my account is froze. You won't tell me why, if I have an ouitstanding bill, (which I will pay right away.) or accept my new phone. If I have a bill, I want to pay it, and be done with this.

I love Afterpay, they let you build up credit. the more on time payments and use the higher it goes. nothing but good to say about this app!

it asked me to verify my account by the first six numbers in my credit card and States ending and then tell me what credit card I have more than one credit card. so there's no way for me to verify it because it won't tell me the last four of my credit card so I can give you the first six I tried for 2 hours this morning to verify it and you know it is impossible to verify it that way I believe in some type of scam actually be careful with this app and especially the company behind it

Just like EVERY OTHER AI CUSTOMER SERVICE, it talks in circles and won't acknowledge that you said you've already done what it is suggesting, or that it's not understanding your issue at all. I was merely trying order from Amazon. CashApp should stop saying I have this After pay balance "available" if I can't use it.

I've been with afterpay for almost 6 years. I've been on time with my payments every two weeks. when they had a loyalty program and when they took it out. little by little afterpay it's becoming obsolete. I have now been blocked for shopping more due to limitations of my shopping even though my bills have always been in top shape, if I had an issue with my card due to fraud. they will extend it about a week to give me time and still be able to pay for my billing. Sezzle it is. 👎🏾✌🏾

customer service is absolute TRASH. I only use this service because my tattoo artist accepts it. I never had an issue until I changed my last name when married. they wanted so much redundant and sensitive information. NOW my account is frozen "due to unresolved issues " ? This entire app and trying to get anything resolved is absolute garbage and I believe they are scammers. not even worth one star. Klarna is far superior.

I've been using this app for years. never had a problem until now. I ordered cat parts on Amazon for $1691. They paid it on a single use card. Amazon paid 1430.09 and declined the remaining balance so one of the parts isn't being sent. Afterpay is still charging me the full amount. when I go to support they say they are investigating but when I try to upload my proof, it says unable to because the dispute was won in the merchants favor. they stole almost 300 from me!!!!!!!!!!!

This app now makes it impossible to sign in simple!!! Especially if U hv an Android phone or even on a fkn computer with this 2nd verification BS! If U R making a 2nd verification mandatory, just for Sign-in, at least give us an option to receive Ur Fkn Stupid verification code via Email & not just only make that an SMS option!!! Why does Ur verification code only need to be sent to a Mobile!?!? Why not give an option to hv it sent to an Email!?!? We don't always use our Cells Phone!!!!

It now requires you to verify your identity with your address and SSN, but if the info is "determined" to be incorrect it locks your account and Afterpay says they can't unlock it and don't know how long it will last. This happened to me 3 months ago and I s till can't use it.

fraudulent accounts are getting opened

customer service is horrible. paid for a service i never recieved and filed a dispute. they closed it via AI stating nothing was wrong since of course they got their money and their excuse was they cant intervene with refunds or cancelations. so there is no buyer protection on any services or goods u buy. and if u attempt a charge back with your bank they will close your account. u also are limited on where u can use it. if u must use BNPL there are others that are much better and safer.

The app doesn't let me sign into my account. I have to open it through web browser but doesn't let me shop through the Web. States my password is wrong when I used the same exact password to log in online 😭

Love the app itself but it loses a star for one reason. Everytime I use it to shop on walmart, for every TAP on my screen it takes 5 minutes to load. This is not my phone as EVERYTHING ELES WORKS FINE UNTIL I GO TO CHECK OUT. Was subject to a FRAUD event and, despite providing and proving my situation repeatedly, they still closed the dispute and tried to continue to charge me. Their customer service team was terrible and you can't actually TALK to anyone on the "escalation team" because they only communicate via email. I can't say enough that despite proof of the fraud they continued to defend the "merchant" and they do not care about their customers. They only care about the money.

haven't got started shopping with this yet. I think I'll like the after pay because the Christmas shopping will fit well for me for each person I put on my Christmas gift list.

Money is NOT available for emergencies such as gas. The money is not instantly available, which makes it useless.

This app is just a fraud and steals people's data. I created an account, verified my identity, and was given a credit of $600. Then they was asked for a payment method before purchasing. I added my credit card but still I was not allowed to purchase.

the app is so slow it get stuck and I gotta delete the app then download again and even then the app still dont want to work right.

I wish I could give them less than a 1 star. would not let me verify my account. Even though everything is 100℅ correct. now I'm on a freeze period and they can't fix the mess up they did. will chang my rating after it's fixed

how to get my Atherpay on cash app

I have been using Afterpay for a few years now . I use it so that I don't have my card numbers out there om a bunch of websites. I know my card is only on one app. I feel safer using Afterpay while shopping different sites. I have never had a problem. Its easy to use and makes checking out faster. It's a good app and I'm grateful to have it to use.

it's a great idea and concept and I love cash app. but I can never get this thing to work.

You have to watch these pay in four type apps because they show you have available credit to pay for things but then tell you, it's not available and to pay it down after you have shown them for many years and many month's that you are capable of paying what you owe! so with that been said, I don't know what type of star rating should I give this app, because it's confusing. If I have a $190 available to use Why are you telling me to pay down what I owe? If it's not due yet to pay on it!

Slow and laggy. Freezes after every click as well.

The app worked perfectly fine for almost a year, then all of a sudden would not let me make purchases due to being "unable to verify my identity" even with all of my information regarding said verification was up to date. The customer support was completely useless and was unable to help with my problem in anyway possible. I will not be returning to afterpay.
