Better than expected. I was used to Roku so I thought I wouldn't like this platform turns out it's better so far.

smartcast time does not match tv time. Tv switches to home while watching another channel. Tv keeps buffering, turned off smartcast and installed Roku, problems resolved!

I had lost my remote and downloaded this app for my vizio t.v until the replacement cable remote came. So, in order for the vizio app to work, you have to just register an account from Walmart since Vizio is now a Walmart exclusive. it cost you nothing.

this app sucks. have tried to log in multiple times, and just keeps taking me back to the verify page, over and over. so I wasted money on a TV from these idiots. I just bought it for a computer monitor, which it does well, but if you want it for the "smart" features, good luck.

I've had nothing but problems since buying a vizo tv. first off it won't let me set up an account for vizio or Walmart. it's not as easy as it claims to be. looking at it now. I should have went with a different brand. as I see it i wasted a lot of money for the 43 inch vizio tv I purchased from walmart.

Share information or suffer. A pop up showed up saying do I agree to share all info with Vizio? I said decline and thought that was that. NOPE!! If you decline Vizio will literally shut down all HDMI connections. My cable box went black as did my Blu-ray. I thought the TV was having issues. Nope!! Just Vizio being big brother or die. I finally tried that pop-up again and "Agreed" and suddenly all the HDMI connections worked. Last Vizio I ever buy!!!

Frustrating but functional. It rarely works without losing connection to my tv at some point. Many times it'll power the tv, then say that it can't connect immediately after. My WiFi router is literally sitting right next to the TV.

Your setup process will not allow me to continue, walmart will not allow me to create an account, my tv will not allow me to run it without this app installation that does not work. I hate all of you.

the new update eliminated the search function from the home menu before the update the search menu included shows, movies and apps; now only include apps which makes it less helpful

Quick and easy? No, I think not. Not only does this TV require you to hand over personal data (and make a Walmart account) just to use the features, but then if you run into issues making an account it doesnt even tell you why so you can fix them! I bet AI said that was a great idea! Get a real TV that doesnt lock the useful features behind apps. I just wanna browse YouTube. It can't possibly be hard, you'll even get my data that way, isn't that wild.

it won't let me log in. I'm stuck in a login loop with Walmart, to Visio. I'm not sure what it expects me to do because I've already linked my Walmart and Visio accounts together. I shouldn't be having this much trouble logging in.

Tried multiple times but the app doesn't detect the sound bar even when from normal Bluetooth I can connect to the sound bar to play music

Google play didn't fix it! cleared app cache and all data! didn't fix it!! uninstalling and re installing several times did NOT work either! Now Im disgruntled because I have other apps linked through my vizio account! reply: I did uninstall and reinstall the app several times, and Google didn't fix it!

I've cleared caches, forced stops, uninstalled/installed and still nothing. good idea fairy needs to get fired. doesn't faqn work. been trying to set up my TV for the last 45 minutes and it's just an endless loop of retardedness.

Do not buy a TV from Walmart because if you do then you have to sign in with them otherwise you can't use the TV. And then they use all of your information to manipulate you constantly. Do not buy a TV from Walmart they won't even let me hook up my Roku

This app just doesn't work. It's a chore of jumping through multiple hoops just to get the app to see and pair the soundbar, and once it does it won't let you select the device to go into settings, it just refreshes itself continuously. Trash. I won't be buying anymore Vizio products anytime soon. *UPDATE* In response to the dev reply below, the issue is not on my end. I did all reasonal troubleshooting. The issue is the app. It is buggy, janky, and bloated. It needs a revamp.

I just got the TV, typing to sign in on the mobile app to get the TV to work but is having "technical difficulties" to try again later. Seriously!??? If that's the case I'll take the old tv's.

Simply stopped working. Now it will not allow phone to connect to the TV

It can easily earn 5 stars but needs work. A couple things. When I change the settings on my sound bar EQ mode, I would like it to stay on direct for my TV and Bluetooth. Except every time I connect back to my soundbar or turn on my TV, it goes right back to the Music default. It should remember your settings, but it doesn't. Also, I have night mode turned on for the subwoofer. After a few days it will still be toggled on, but will not be on night mode. So I have to re toggle to go back on!

completely stopped working, refuses to connect to my TV however a generic app has no issues. completely disappointing considering the is the brands app itself, and it's not just a one time, I haven't been able to use this one for literal months, on multiple devices it was attempted.

User friendly remote as long as the wifi is the same. I find it as simple to use as the remote that came with the television. No issues since installing.

for something that comes free with your TV they made sure to have a good variety for all ages. Huge fan of the channel listings that are available. I guarantee you'll be impressed. Only con I will say is that when watching a show it freezes up several times and also the guide sometimes doesn't display what's playing on that channel..

Paramount+ subscribers beware. Paramount+ does not support Vizio TV's per Paramount+ support. Paramount told me to watch on my phone, tablet or laptop. Love the Vizio app!

Previous update rendered the app near useless for controlling the TV and became a glorified ad platform. They eventually fixed it, but now the app won't launch on my phone, claiming it needs to verify my age and telling me to download the latest version from the Play Store. As I write this review, it is currently the latest available version here.

super easy to use, never need extra batteries or have to call the kids and ask who took the remote. pull up the app make your adjustments and go right back to enjoying smooth TV enjoyment.

This app is really useful for adjusting the volume, switching inputs, or starting apps on your Vizio TV- you can do it all right from the palm of your hands, before you're even back in the room!

version 5 and haven't had a good experience. imagine being on the 5th version of this, and EVERY TIME you turn on the TV, it doesn't regester that the TV is on. There hasn't been one time that this actually worked on three 1st time.
