june 30 2025 It stopped working even after retrying several times It used to work well the first time, I downloaded it a while back but since then there's only one free region compared to back then, where there was at least 3 free

To be honest, VPN Tomato is an excellent and unique VPN. It allows users to connect easily and provides connections to various countries such as the USA, Japan, Canada, France, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, etc. Therefore, I would like to recommend VPN Tomato as the perfect VPN solution for everyone.

This thing doesn't work 99% of the time. Next time you connect look up your ip. Nothing changes. It used to be great but the devs have totally dropped the ball and it isn't worth the bandwidth (even if your data is free) to bother with this app.

This is really a great app and it was really working pretty well before. Now I can't really connect to any country and it keeps saying that there's been some error 3001... I tried to reinstall it but it never seems to work. Please fix this!

It's the best VPN and I love it. It deserves the 5 stars and I strongly recommend it to everyone. It is excellent. Yes, there are ads but it is a great app and it is ok to put up with the disruption for a little bit, I think. Edit: After the latest update it no longer connects. Will you please fix that, so this app becomes excellent again?

I've been using this app for about a month now and it was honestly good until there was some problem that I've been experiencing... I tried to connect to a different country but it keeps saying that there was an error and it doesn't let me connect anymore. I hope this can be fixed. 🙏

I really loved this app so much, after this last April 8 2024 update it no longer connects, and gives me an error to reboot something every time I try to connect, the notification disappears too quickly for me to even read.. I really hope this gets fixed soon, but this looks like the end of one of the most useful apps here, for me at least.

Stopped working after latest update. Error Code 3001, no idea what that means, as FAQ is inconclusive. Restarting, reinstalling, and rebooting all did nothing to correct. Support email address returns messages undeliverable, so it's impossible to reach anyone for assistance. Went from great app to garbage app in one update. Time to find something else.

I like this app very much, but your last update crashed it. When I try to use it, it prompts an error message to reboot device and it won't load time for you to be able to use app.

The worst VPN ever! The list of available servers keeps getting smaller and smaller with each new update. Now, it only supports 6 servers around the globe. Back in 2018, this VPN supported more than 30 servers. Don't bother installing this app! It's neither free, nor it's much of a VPN! It's useless now! Uninstalled.

Started working after clearing data. Worked for a month then stopped working. i.e. collects user data then stops giving its service. There's an ad everytime you connect or disconnect. After 100 minutes, disconnects automatically (connection timer).

Very nice in an emergency situation where countries blocked some apps or social media. We can use this vpn app and its very helpfull. Need some issues fixed like there is no button or turning off way to choose from. The one has to clear cach or clean trash to close the app. Plz update it to easily turn off. 👍

It's good. I saw negative comments and i was shock why. Maybe because they don't know the way to use. Yeah this vpn connects automatically to the server which is suitable for you but after connection you can change if you want to

If you're able to get a different VPN then you should. The reason i use this one is because my school has blocked the other ones..it's overall very inconvenient, and if you want it for the 8 or so hours you're there you need to dedicate around 10 minutes of your morning to ensure it runs all day. There is a good reason there are so many ads, but I find it annoying and unnecessary how it takes eg 10-20 seconds in between ads and in between adding connection time. Overall though it works well

Used to be the best but is now unusable. Connection drops out all the time and when it does connect it's ridiculously slow. Just shows you adds all the time. Total scam.

Hey developers team! I've never usually commented, among some of very procrastinate users who usually view ratings to check an app's authenticity! But I'm forced to.... As i have developed sense loyalty and love for this VPN. Recently been a while when this app's countdown has increased to 10s (much annoying) Much longer and forced ads (extremely disturbing) and restriction to use some previously free servers... Otherwise this app had a legendary respect among users once a time

It's pretty good! A good selections of country and region and unlike other vpns, it's free AND doesn't cut off every so often. Extending time on the service is free, very little wait time to set an extension too. It's simple, reliable, free and easy

This was my preferred VPN by far. However, they recently updated the app to only allow you to connect to servers in your same country which rendered the app completely useless for me. Super disappointing.

I love this app because it's easy to use and I don't mind the ads, because I can skip it in seconds but sometimes the app would crash (won't disconnect until I delete or restart the phone) but it's quite rare so it's not that much of a bother

Its way better than other Vpns strong connection and for a large time..... I usually open its to change server for connecting to job applications and hiring websites of united states, thats why I have to be on a long time connection and it gives me much time to scroll and apply for different applications at a good speed.

I definitely 😁 love 😘 this app. It has minimal and easy to navigate experience when I am using this app. It's normal to me ☺️ one ads for a moment. Thanks 👍 to all developer's and the company to make this. I also have small request for the developer's to add the our country Nepal also if it possible. 💖 💖

I love this VPN so much I don't really care about the add because you can just skip them in like 3-6 seconds. Another thing about this is how it's also good because you can change your region FOR 🆓 FREE 🆓. Also if you don't want adds and want the VPN to last longer just pay for the premium versions! If you have money or not it's the best VPN in my opinion

Recurring subscription fees to bleed customers dry ad infinitum, without any option to purchase the software once and for all => uninstalled and replaced with a functionally superior competitor product that can be bought instead of rented and that connects and works more reliably.

I've only used it twice so this may not be the best review. But it does work efficiently in free mode, easy to understand and i'm fine with the ads for additional time limit. I have finally downloaded some apps I've been longing for, thank you!

i like it, it's very useful but one thing thats a problem is the time limit it's way too short, even when u add time it decrease hour by hour but other than that it's amazing!! I rrecommend if your just looking for a quick and easy vpn!!!

Used to be good - need to fund alternative now. I am fine with the ads. Its free, thats how they make their money. My issue is that you have a server auto select based on best connection, and the connection is normally terrible. Unusable. 30 secs to load a page. You then go back into the app, have to watch add, close, click repair, watch add again, click into browser and try again. This has go be repeated 6 or 7 times to get a usable connection now. Not sure why it's gone why it's so bad now.

Literally the best VPN I have ever used. It works just great and smooth , and for the ads , getting such a great app at the cost of 2 or 3 ads each time you use it? That's nothing ! And also , I love the tomato logo it's so cute <3 Totally suggesting it to anyone.

There was this setting at the time of when I downloaded it to watch more ads for more free time I did that to have enough time for 2 hours Not 10 minutes in I check on it and it tells me my time has expired and I need to watch more ads Cool :] I've been telling my friends about this experience ever since

Absolute trash. Don't download. It loses connection all the time despite strong wi-fi signal. Also before you click on anything you'll need to watch obnoxious ad. I'm not exaggerating, each minute your connection breaks, you'll spend couple of minutes watching ads before you finally fix it just to crash thirty seconds later.

There is an ad after every step of the process. Turn it on, ad. Turn it off, ad. Switch between apps, ad. It too much plus it only works about 60% of the time. It neither doesn't connect or drops the connection.

I use it a lot so I can't really complain too hard, but that's mostly because this is the only VPN that actually works for me for free - but jesus christ, the ads are insane. Every button on screen leads to an advert. I've never seen anything like it. No, VPN Tomato, I am not interested in Alibaba or a screen projector, shut up about it. I understand adverts but this is just mad. Other than that, yeah, it works

This is hands down one of the worst cons I have ever used. There are so many ads, ads when you open the app, ads when you connect, you have to watch ads to disconnect. You only get a limited amount of time connected. The internet speeds are the slowest I have ever seen. It often takes 30 seconds just to load a simple web page. The only positive thing I can say is that it sometimes works with some apps. If you want a good free vpn, download ProtonVPN, much better

I have been using this for a long time. Used to work just fine. But after the new update. There are so many frickkin ads that you can't skip and it looks like the app is just making tons of money than actually providing its services! REALLY DISAPPOINTED😤😒

I used other VPNs before but as time passed they got really annoying with ads and also would limit some freedom. The one i was previously using had issue with the speed. At first i thought it was my ISP but then I downloaded this one to give a test and since the installation i haven't had any major problems. Easy to use, user friendly, great data rate. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ For you.

Better than anyone I've tried ❤️ But there are some problem it take us to app force fully to watch ads Also There are mostly 'US' servers If we Uninstall the app again download there will Be 'UK' servers But after opening app 2 to 3 time they gone again plz Fixxx This!!!!!!!!!!!

It worked well and it used to be very usable even the free version but after the last update the ads are just unbearable. You can't skip anything, and whatever you press on the screen it takes you to the ads page unlike before where you could close the ads and wait a few seconds to add more time to your VPN. I had to uninstall for how annoying it has become!

No lagging, super fast and easy to use. I would love if they add the disconnect feature from notification bar like if we don't have to open the app explicitly to disconnect the VPN.

My school has blocked a lot of vpns and whenever I tried other vpns they either wouldn't work at all or wouldn't let me use them without paying first. I would say this vpn works even better than the previous vpn I used (vpn, which vanished from the Play Store for some reason). If you're looking for a vpn at school to bypass all the restrictions that come with connecting to their wifi, I would definitely recommend this one. You need to watch ads to get connection time back but it's very good.

It works very well it helped me when I had a problem with a glitch on avakin life which avakin didn't know how to solve I dont see friends online anymore on avakin I have to use this app now to see them online, I like a lot but the only problem with it, it is lots of ads on it that is bad about it but it works fine so far.

this review isnt and shiny and sparkly, just like the app. you use it so that you can be private. it's supposed to keep you private, so does it keep your private? does your information get out? if it gets out that's not a good app but in my case, it's done exactly what it's supposed to have done. When things go right/normal, you don't notice. Thats good If they go wrong, it's easily noticed. So far I hadn't noticed anything

The last time I left a review back in 2020 I gave it a 5 star, but everything has worsened ever since. Speed is fairly fast for the first few minutes of use and then suddenly drop for absolutely no reason.

Amazing app, I have been using it for soem time now and i havent had any problems there is a lot of ads but its still really good 10/10 totally recommend and it is really good if you don't want to spend money on a vpn. I have had multiple vpns which I paid for but none of them are better than this one.

This is so much more shots than you have implemented in this job market and you can do it please and time it will help to make money was not a bad idea and it was a mistake raled for the job market and it didn't help me hu or pdf I don't think and think about your future in a long term way and the way I am doing solo is it just a little too far for the reader to be a bit less concerned with the way it was made easy for me than to see record 🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕

Terrible, there are SO MANY ads that you cannot click buttons, ads literally one after another and there's like 10 of them every time you open the app, the time you can use the VPN is very short unless you pay for full version, horrible use any other it's better.

I've been using this app for quite a long time and it's works great. but it's not working since yesterday on my tiktok and I've reinstalled the app several times but the problem is not getting solved, it shows that the vpn is connected but the vpn doesn't work. if anybody knows how to solve the problem please tell me.

This VPN was so much better like a year ago. The latest version of this app seemingly just decreases the Internet speed by 2 times instead of 'Increasing' it. I can recall that there weren't much Infuriating Ads in the old versions as there is now. Sometimes, some glitchy Ads pop up, making it impossible to navigate through the app. As a veteran user of this app, I'm disappointed.

The app works well but the ads just keep coming sometimes so i can't even access settings. I don't have a problem with you earning money but when the ads keep popping up and block access to the app that is not ok.

Worked fine once, then shows an ad whenever I try to open this app again where the cross button does not appear. There is a grey globe that can not be closed. I understand the ads. But ads to the extent of non functionality is not the way. It was also some other vpn company who had that ad. Disgusting.

I would have given it 0 stars if it was possible.. Once you launch the app...they give you an ad.... Which is okay.... But you cannot close the ad, which is clearly not okay.. I dont understand why would you not give to option to close the ad.

Honestly, a very good vpn probably the best I have seen considering it's free. Some issues tho: First the stability isn't good and second it is usually really slow, the fix options are just there for design coz they don't really change anything. For this reasons, 4-stars is the best I can conjure for now atleast

it was great.... I have been using this app for an month and i can say it still working ads though sometimes bothering me whenever i lose time But it can connect to several country server and if you want to have unlimited time when connecting,no ads and cqn connect to other country server try using the premium one

Everything seemed to be ok till it started to crash when refreshing the servers and completely stopped working. Please consider fixing this problem. This app was apparently the best one I'd ever used but now it's not even functioning.

Very effective app considering its free, You may have to watch a couple of ads to extend your time but the the ads only last 5seconds. It connects you to a diffrent location without any hassles. Highly recommend.

Really horrible app with an insane amount of ads (sexually related ads and this app doesn't confirm the user's age either). Once you watch 2 or 3 ads, you're given approximately 1 minute and 40 seconds of VPN time to browse the internet. After that, the app disconnects you and your internet activity is exposed. I don't know why people give this app a high rating when it's pretty bad and crummy. I wouldn't give any star at all.

I've been using this VPN for a couple of years and I've never encountered major connectivity problem. But lately it just crushes minutes after i connected, it doesn't even stay connected for 30minute (though it says i have 2.50 hours). Nevertheless the app is still my first choice.

Sometimes it slows down the internet speed. But most of the time it works just fine. I use it almost everyday. I recommend others to use this one instead of looking around for other vpn apps. There are 5 second ads that are shown rarely so don't worry. Also extra usage time can be added easily with the press of a button. It's simple and to the point.

GREAT!!!!! But 1 think that i dont like...... It will pop up on screen when the time is expired (yes even when your playing) But Overall This Is A great App!!! Plss fix it. You can reach the website that said "dont reach website" or i dont know i recommend it but when your playing and that happen ya'know pop up. Its kinda annoying tho. Btw its have i lot of ads lol.

Yeah the app is cool but the ads are something else. I literally got an ad of a girl, uh, pleasuring herself and I'm a minor. I don't know how much control one has over the ads they display on their app, but I imagine its gotta be a little more than this.

When I first used this app, there were quite a lot of ads, it was pretty annoying but that was fine. However, now, ads rarely pop up, they *usually* only do when I'm switching from one country to another. This is currently my go-to VPN and definitely my favorite one yet. It's easy to work with and the speed is most of the time pretty fast. Definitely recommend

It works and all but it's so slow, I use it for a couple mins and it goes fast I was surprise and when time go pass it just got a lag spike causing me to leave the game then I saw it was going slower than me turning off the vpn, after that I use it and it go fast again so I use it and then the lag spike came back and it keep going reapetedly lagging and normal over and over I don't know if it's my phone or vpn but I'm sure I won't recommend this vpn.

At first I gave it 5 stars but now I give one star. My chrome browser's search results are all messed up and my location was changed to Azerbaijan. I specified I want my ip to be in Los Angeles, my hometown where I currently reside. They don't have the right to change my browser settings to Azerbaijan!!! All my ads are in Turkish! It's upsetting and offensive

Such a worst app ever seen in the life... It made my phone lag for atleast an hour..my touch was not working at all after downloading it making me unable to restart my phone.. I had to go through you tube in order to see how can we switch off the phone without touching the screen and it gave me hell lot of frustration..

The app itself is good and easy you can easily add more time of connection but after some time it started to open Google Chrome automatically and go to scammers page on which is showing that i have 7 viruses i cleaned my phone completely and im 100% sure that there wasn't any viruses developers can you explain why is that happening i already reported page that was keep appearing out of nowhere to stop it from appearing Edit this app gives you hard to uninstall virus i got one

It's free but too slow to be useful. Also with the insane number of ads, you'd think it would be a little faster instead of bps. Also the English needs a lot of work. Bad english comes off as a scam site.

It's free. It works. It does have ads but again, IT'S FREE. The speed doesn't degrade. (It does need some improvement of english though - for aesthetic reasons)

Pretty good for me, but i got a bug where i tried to disconnect from my notification bar and it won't disconnect in the app, when i open the app trying to disconnect it, it just won't load, i had to uninstall it. I've experienced this a few times.

I get super fast connectivity at least or more than 80% if my total attempts in using the free servers... I'm not very sure about the security aspects, yet. But speed and connection wise performances has been the best in free VPN domain among at least a dozen other apps I've used

This is actually great,it works like wonder! I don't care what people say about the ads, like people need to be glad that this VPN doesn't spam your whole device with ads and viruses like others.. I honesty am very glad i found this,i was trying to access some anime on crunchyroll that was blocked in my country but failed-till i found out about this. Thank you Very much for making this,i now can access anything without killing my phone with useless viruses TwT

Does the job I need and whenever using it I've never had a problem with it. Review update: for some reason it has become very unreliable, constantly turning itself off mid use. So have altered the star rating accordingly.

25 seconds of ad to suffer through, I don't think so..... Uninstalling. I liked the many features offered that I haven't found in any other vpn app. Response to comments is prompt. Still other apps restrict ads to 5 secs (vpnhub). Pls consider doing the same.

It's forces you to download it ! it says "if you do not download this app your phone will be damaged , slow , battery will drain fast , ah blah , I'd like to request to remove it , you know it's too annoying when you are minding own business and suddenly this app popped up !!

I've been using this from little long time almost a year I think, at first it was really2 good fast and " SKIPPABLE ADS " free use on VIP and many others thing. I know yes sir I know if you want no ads buy the premium one instead, that's why I can understand it but thats not the main problem. the main issues was as time goes by, the speed it start goes slow and slower, it pissed me a lot forced to watch 30 sec stupid tick tock ads or whatever but get the low speed signal like?? rly?

Best VPN so far! Easy to use, Free, you can choose what server you want with downside of watching an ads. Miles better than other random vpn that only work for few weeks and then somehow unusable. You just need to watch ads to: choose premium/specific server and add your time (yes there is time limit)

This is the best vpn I have ever had it has a very connection speed, but there is a problem with it when I minimize the app and go to another app it is active for a couple of minutes and then disconnects itself, please fix that, But in overall it is the best vpn ever download it. Great app

I've been using this vpn for about 3-4 months and I'm very satisfied with its speed but when I tried it again today, it was very slow and I also noticed that it was bombarded with ads. It's like every time you visit the app, it gets ads or everytime you press something on the app, it also gets ads. Sad to say I'm switching for other vpn apps because of its download speed. I can tolerate the ads if the speed is fast but it's not soo, ciaooo.

Gonna give my honest review: Tried to use this service on my Mi note 8 pro and... my phone literally stopped working completely. And I 100perc sure tht its not my device's fault. Very dangerous, nothing on the screen was responding, so i had to press the power and vol^ button for few seconds to get out. Whether to install or not is still your choice Ps: I tried to connect Japan both the times

This app is like best VPN app on PS at first glance, bcoz it contains few ads, fast speed and continues data speed no matter how much u r downloaded! I am very happy that I have this app! But the happiness is not always stay with you. As the days passed, it's speed decrease sometimes. Actually it's not problem.problem starts now. It started to hang... And yet this is not enough, so the whole phone started sticking. It's like ‘BT tomato' Which looks good but in the long run it shows its poison!

Best free VPN that I have tried so far. Do the job at its best. Great speed and connects quickly. Only drawback someone could tell is regarding the ads that pops up. But it only appears if you want to add more time. Other than that, considering a free VPN, this is just awesome!!!

I'm not being payed, I'm not working for any company as a reviewer. The only reason I'm giving a 4 (there isn't 4.7 option) and spending time on this few lines is because this FREE service is really helpful. There are ads of course but they aren't annoying as hell like other free apps. The only issue I had is this laggy user interface but apart from that all seems very good. Thanks for your contribution. Updating to 5 stars :))) Thanks tomato cutie!

This app sucks. It doesn't do its job. I literally downloaded this to play a game and it doesn't work. I started the VPN and went into the game and it didn't work. Infact it was worse than before because the game failed before I even started playing it. Don't use this for games unless it's for removing ads on them.

I normally take reviews on here with a grain of salt but I have a normal phone, Samsung A Series and this made my phone freeze for 3 minutes, I don't recommend this app until the freezing issue is fixed, no other reputable app has this issue

I've been testing this for about a few hours now and so far so good. You only have to see some ads for the free vpn and its not that distracting or time consuming. You have options to choose your vpn region and the app does not malfunction. One thing is you have to renew the protection but that only takes a simple tap on the app's homepage. Its super easy and you can tap it as much as you want until you get a continuous 5 hours or so. So far, I'm liking this one.

Compared to other famous VPNs on playstore. I can say this one is the best so far. Less annoying ads and accessible premium servers by watching ads. And the most important its easily connected and has pretty good connection. Keep it up!

Having tried several reputable free vpns' over the last 2+yrs, i can say with all honesty that this is by far the quickest and easiest to date. After trialling this app, I'm actually in two minds on upgrading to a paid version of Tomato just in case some digital gremlin spoils what i have going on. The advertisments are not too big an issue as they are only dealt with on start up. 5 stars and two thumbs up.. Great work Tomato!

Was working very well yesterday, in fact the only vpn app that wasn't getting blocked. Today the servers for Australia are not an option, they aren't in the list anymore. I just upgraded to paid and still not there. I've emailed the dev and will update rating if they make the servers available again.

legitimately the only free VPN that actually work. most free vpns make you watch a full-length video every ten minutes just to get your service. but tomato only brings up an ad every time you want to get two hours more and it's literally just a still image so you can click away. I would definitely recommend this app

This is honestly on of the best free, if not the best, VPN app there is, sure it disconnects quite fast but it is justified with its speed at the expense of.. Well.. Nothing! Its free and it deserves all the best reviews it could possibly have.

Ummm, when I downloaded this, I thought it was perfect, I mean I dont mind watching ads to connect to other countries but after connecting to another country my phone just glitched then I disconnected then I was gonna rate it 4 stars then it glitched again then my phone automatically shutted down then I deleted it thinking it had a virus or something.. So I will download this after month hoping it wont glitch again.. Maybe its just my phone.. Dont really know...

So far, I am loving the goofy looking tomato. It's the only VPN I have ever tried that said it was free-and really was free! Yes, you have to reconnect every coiple hours, but you don't need a credit card number or have to watch a bunch of commercials either!

This is outright scam, everytime i connect and it reaches beyond 10 mins of connecting it losses connection and i had to start over multiple times And for the people trying to download this, just dont, dont let the nice reviews fool you its total utter scam. Ok for a new update their seems to be a new problem with tomato vpn where whenever you connect into a server the connection speed immediately disappears the only way to fix it is to disconnect it. Congratulations guys, you deserve a -10 stars

Doesn't work in my area. And I don't mean it is unable to connect or anything. As soon as I open the app it pops up to tell me it's unavailable in my area, regardless of which country I'm in or even if my phone is in airplane mode. Would have been nice knowing which countries it did and did not work in before wasting my time downloading and installing this garbage.

Just too many ads to use it. You get an ad when you turn it on. You get an ad when you try to disconnect. You only have a limited amount of time before it turns itself off, which will over ride any other app you are using at the time. Then, for me at least, it just stopped working altogether, by constantly getting a failed to connect error. So, yeah, uninstalled, would not recommend.

I was having difficulties in finding a good vpn app. Most of the apps that I used before didn't come in handy whenever I need them to be. Today, I come across this app and actually surprised by how it works. It functions properly, that's the main point. Although sometimes I'd find some bugs, I don't think it bothers my overall activities. I believe the developer still needs to improve, but you've done a good job so far. Thanks!
