I feel I should be refunded. Changes were made to how the app runs and completely changed the personality of characters. It's pretty well useless now. They could have problem solved with ID checking rather than ruining the app.

update: ever since the updates, the experience are worse if you don't select the pre generated answers it will glitch but it bans you for anything words and phrases its really restricting compared to other ai apps it takes you out the experience compared to other AI chat experiences that are less frigid and the gems costs are ridiculously high..buyer beware. I'm not using this app anymore its not worth the headache.

I love this app. being able to add your own part to a story has had me lost for hours. I even paid for a whole year subscription. thank you Tipsy for creating such an amazing app. being able to control parts of how things will go had had me reading so much more than I have in years. You can have it read their parts to the story to but I prefer to read it. also they create pictures based off of what has been wrote already.

oh wow, this was the only app I was saving up for a year of and then they go and censor everything. make an id verification or something so you guys can filter who can see if they can use certain bots instead of getting rid of them because this is crazy, paying that much to have a censored conversation when you know that we want the opposite is bad business.

I was enjoying this app until they started forcing creators to make modifications to characters to fit new community guidelines. Now, all my playthroughs are ruined, stuck in loops and I'm wasting gems and money. This app was one of the better ones because it allowed truly free roleplay. Now it's just a waste. Their community guidelines also don't allow for photorealistic images anymore so we're about to be stuck with cartoony, anime style everything which blows. I feel bad for the creators.

it's actually really good. I just wish there were more ways to earn gems. I can't bring myself to spend money directly on AI authors when there are so many good authors out there grinding.

4 days and I'm addicted. I love the AI interactions. It's a very immersive experience and I've never played anything else like it. Very fun and easy to play after all you partially control the story. You have to type your response as opposed to other AI games where you just select a prompt answer. No ads. Only down side is you never have enough gems 😂. I literally cannot wait for the reset everyday

Story is ok. Issue is that, daily convos do not reset when memory is at its limit, memory limit is too short, theres no other way to get free gems, and the cost of gems are too pricey. I think I will stick to the free AI apps like Chat GPT for better roleplays that arent script

I love tipsy! It’s so addicting and there’s so many different stories, I’d love for each response to be less gems because they’re gone so quickly when you’re just into the story and the glitches on the version with picture scenes are a bit annoying but otherwise it’s really fun!

Love it I really do butttt.... as you progress it cost so much in gyms its not really fun anymore even with the subscription.

I only downloaded this to rate it. I hate it. too pushy, too much, I feel gross just everytime I see the ads. it's repulsive and make me feel extremely uncomfortable. I hate it very much and I can't express the amount of times I hit "not interested" and still shows up. im installing it now. this is gross and uncomfortable

I'm so tired of seeing all these creepy ads for another stalker-y weird ai chatbot who actually wants a man of all things to decide he suddenly owns you because he feels like it? and it's always the 'my little ___'. there should only be adults on here, act like it.

ok so I used to love this game and spent money on it, now with the updates, everything is restricted, characters have been taken out, words can't be used and pictures are not accepted, when creating characters they get put through weeks of review and not they don't let you play with the character you made while it's under review, they took all the fun out of the game... I'll be looking for a new game to spend my money on

you run out of gems super quickly. there's not enough gems to earn. i play one story & now the game glitches like he is an entirely different person at times, & it says the same things. the only way to get gems is to do the daily check in, or buy super expensive ones for little gems. I will uninstall this, soon, prolly by the end of the day. prices too high, gems too low, & now the game forgets my story. start of 2 weeks, only one character. and do i get gems back that the app messes up? nope.

I was really enjoying this untill the responses you get kept changing, id read it once and then when id read it again the words had been changed or just disappeared, I thought i was going mad till I screenshot the conversation and then reread it, is there a way to fix this or to go back so it dosnt keep happening?

I give a really low rating because of how expensive it is. but is really good, the stories, the images, the videos. I really enjoyed it but I can't afford it. like most of us.

Sometimes it overcharges for picture/video past the limit I set it and other times it completely wastes my gems repeating the exact same message. Overall I like it but it is a little pricey and annoying when my gems/money keeps being wasted. Also, I'm only receiving 2-3 sentences lately in response no matter which chat model or how many gems I use and now I'm missing saved characters from my heart and star favorites since I canceled my subscription.

so I downloaded it was putting in all my information and then it said put in the invitation code which of course I downloaded it from an ad so there wasn't one and it won't let you continue without the code even though it says optional so I am uninstalling

drains the battery pretty quick, you can run out of free gems pretty quick but you can personali,e your character within a story and the ai character will respond accordingly almost immediately. good plots, good memory, you click on a character and immediately launch into the story but your initial response determines the rest.

Tipsy claims to encourage creativity while systematically stripping away the tools creators need. Useful tags like Cheating, Mature and Married Partner have vanished, making characters harder to categorise and discover. Creators invest hours building detailed stories, only to face constant restrictions and poor communication. Stop treating the people who provide your content as an afterthought. A platform built on creativity shouldn't be actively suffocating it. Deeply disappointing.

Agree with a lot of the other recent reviews. I get why they started cracking down on the content, but they went too far and now it's not fun. I'm really considering dropping the app, I used to love it but now its too restricted.

I think its it's good, but you're always going to have to pay, and it's ridiculously expensive. Two or three messages, and your gems are all gone. Once, I had 300 gems, and I talked to one guy for 20 minutes, and all 300 gems were gone. I was like, "That's way too much." And through 20 minutes, include the ads that pop up. That's just a scam.

absolutely amazing stories and after you max out the memory the bots never seem to forget anything but it needs a cap on how high the price for a message can be because it just gets to high for me to bother after a while

The app was amazing at first. But recent updates makes it so that EVERYTHING gets restricted or censored with no way to get explicit replies anymore. The bot writes normally at first with censored words, then changes at the last second to something entirely different and more censored.

So I've been a player for over a month now. Honestly it started out so good and I loved it. I even subscribed. But now their moderation is plain bad. I loved making characters, but now words like "swinging door" / "Facial Hair" / "Queuing In A Line" ect get denied. It's growing harder and harder to launch a character. It's no longer providing what it is actively ad. It then declines stories now with so much as dominance being referenced even though it has a BDSM Tag. I'm going to find a new one

New restrictions. Like seriously? You ask for so much money and then kill 90% of the fun. If I wanted to play a Hallmark Movie I'd stick with non 18+ games. So disappointed. You killed like every spicy or dark character!

Disappointed with Tipsy Chat’s creator experience. Character submissions are repeatedly rejected for different reasons, even after revisions. One clean, fully clothed headshot was flagged for sexualized body parts. I’ve also emailed support several times without receiving a meaningful response. Creators deserve consistent moderation, clear explanations and reliable support. Creating characters takes time, and this experience is making me question whether it’s worth continuing.

I love this app and want to give it 5 stars, but I need the app creators to create an export option for users to download their entire chat storyline history, if they want to keep it. instead of it being stored in the app and possibly deleted through internal app error or user error

app was perfect and probably too addictive when i first started, now since the update to make it cleaner for iOs its lame responses, chat loops and missing characters. im not gonna be renewing my subscription if it stays like this.

this used to be quite a good app, the characters were brill. The newest update has destroyed it. there's no intimacy between the characters and the best engines have been taken away. they allowed a good price and a good story - the new engine is triple the gem usage and crashes every few messages and the more personal scenes have completely stopped. its really disappointing, and I have paid plenty for subscription too. had enough now, especially after this update.

I used to enjoy this app, and thought it was better then the other ai roplay app, that is until they had stopped allowing fan made roplay, and only have characters that are 18 and above characters. now with the constant character rejection for mostly no reason. its more of a pain... so if you want to create characters, ill suggest going somewhere eals, and save yourself from its frustrating and constant rejection when theres no reason for your creation to be rejected.

It's a double bank account dive not only do you pay for a subscription, but they don't give you regenerated chat tokens, and then you have to pay for more chat tokens other than that I guess if you like a rip-off this is perfect.

It used to be such a great app, but after the update I found it really hard to release characters no matter how detailed the characters are. Some of my previous released characters have become locked and I no longer have people playing the characters that used to be well played because they are now locked.

Dumped a FAIR amount of money into this app over several months because it was exactly what I was wanting: Adult themed stories, a thriving and creative community with enticing original characters, and an immersive ai bot. The blindsiding censorship update completely derailed my stories, leaving a generic hollow plot line without any intrigue or captivating developments. 'Disappointed' doesn't cover it. Might switch to Spicy Chat until Tipsy figures this mess out cause... this ain't it.

I was super into this and then the chats started saying I had content restrictions on when I didn't and it took all my gems. I tried updating the app, I tried clearing the cache, but nothing. It took 100 gems from me and refused to chat. Bonkers.

This app used to be great. But now it edits and content restricts everything! I literally had a content restriction on a kissing scene. Subscription has been canceled.

I loved this. the AI good quality for story telling. It's imaginative & creative. I started just before the censorship. It's very restricting. This is an adult app, there shouldn't be this much censorship & restriction. Now, a lot of normal, & detailed responses fail for "content policy" stealing gems, even though it says "your gems are safe" after. Will increase a my rating & subscribe when you revert these changes.

What happened? The responses aren't explicit anymore. The AI will write normally with explicit detail and censored words like it always did, and then change the last minute. Me and my characters are VERY old enough, I have no idea if this is new from the update, but I'm VERY disappointed. Desktop version is the same way. Are they cracking down on censorship? If so, I might cancel, which is a shame because I was having a really good time with this app. Please change it back to how it was.

Honestly waay too expensive - other users are right, the gem system (in game currency) is really stupid, subscribing only gets you a few extra gems that don't regenerate. The conversations regularly forget info or rewrite themselves. Go for a free option instead

I was surprised at the ability of one of the characters to pick up on jokes and build on them. Made the interactions funny.

I've been addicted to this app for months and even subscribed to get better quality chats. I loved how you could create bots and content yourself and had content creators with stories I followed and enjoyed. Unfortunately, they recently updated their policies to basically scrub mature content, so a lot of the bots I'd enjoyed interacting with before are now overly sanitized and not nearly as enjoyable to me. I'll likely have to find another app.

This app used to be absolutely amazing. I used to have in depth chats with characters and now everything is so censored you can't even have a normal conversation. The life and detail I used to love in all of my chats is completely gone. i even bought the subscription, I regret buying it now. It's not even remotely worth the money anymore. I also regret spending all the time I put into making the characters i've created on this app. Waste of time, do not download.

I loved it and then almost a week ago they 'updated their protocols cutting out over 90% of my characters for reasons like ratings which we have know way of changing. you can't create open world rpgs or fan-made characters anymore. You earn coins through people interacting with your characters so imagine how it feels to go from earning close to 3k in coins to 4.5 coins a day.

Good captions, but you can't even chat that long... You sent like 3 messages and it tells you you're out of gems, lmao. The app Talkie is way better, I highly recommend it for the ppl seeing my comment, cause at least you can chat up to an hour on Talkie.

they have been doing changes in the middle of the Halloween event that has tanked the app usability and forces you to go to the web page. then the chat bots wont let you continue the scent any more and the responses are empty and lack story drive now while being extremely high cost for each message

post- generation editing ruins reading experience. A prompt will generate, and it will have awesome details and descriptions and then as you're reading it, the prompt will automatically edit itself and the scene will suddenly get shorter, more summarize, mature descriptive words that were just there will all of a sudden be removed and it will turn from an nsfw scene to a fade to black scene. it's super distracting and not what is advertised. it didn't used to do this, maybe it's an update?

Obsessed. If you have an imagination and a small nack for storytelling, get ready to have your life be taken from you and replaced with this app 😭. BUT I will say the conversations can get repetitive and the AI memory isn't very good. If those things can be worked on, this would be the perfect app.

low key, a HUNDRED times better than any other ai. I recently left poly buzz for this and do NOT regret it. the gems actually allow for long chats, events are fun and the ai are actually immersive, even on water which only takes 1-2 gems per message. and this is as a F2p player, btw. just amazing

I don't understand why so much restrictions & censorship, when its 17+ for mature. Now it's just a normal AI chat with more restrictions & censorship. Excuse was for wanting to be able to be open for more of the broader audience, instead of the ones that can pay without needing to ask for money from their parents.

I love Tipsy and have spent countless hours creating detailed characters and stories. But recent changes are hurting the community. Established bots are being made private, approvals are slower, and AI models refuse responses. Creators are left guessing what's allowed without clear updated guidelines. I understand wanting back into Apple's App Store, but please don't sacrifice what made Tipsy special. The website is already a great alternative. Please listen to your creators and users!

this was my favorite app til just right now. the content you restricted to much. you cant be a female an f load a character card now. because if you remotely show any flesh we dont meet standards.

app was great. expensive but a great treat. then, one day, all of the characters disappeared and the ones that are still there are glitching out and getting weird. all of my old stories are gone without a trace of the money spent on them. no explaination. no warning. just gone.

its entertaining, yes. however, the speed in which gems are lost is insane when they cost as much as they do. no 'watch ad for gems' or anything else like that. its ridiculous for what the app is.

Some of the stories are interesting, but their selection system is terrible, their systems malfunctions for too often and the AI can't tell the difference between actions and thoughts vs dialog it also has a tendency to just decide for the reader what they will say instead of letting them choose for themselves.

im enjoying this but I wish I didnt have to buy so many gems to keep the convo going. if u got a membership then the conversation should be unlimited not just getting topped off monthly with gems

since this new update on Tipsy, it just went back in to reverse. losing so many ai characters and extremely difficult to build one. as if they're expecting to rather be a teacher towards 12 year olds, rather than adults. which I joined for that reason, but suddenly, even with confirmation that your characters is 18+. but these entitled millennials or whatever you call the new pansies, are too sensitive. stay out of the sun and out of our sights! let the grown ups have fun for once!

I love the app but I wish you were more like emochi, instead of using gems and stuff to chat and everything we just have a membership and free chatting on everything. so you don't have to use gems or anything to chat. believe it or not you be more like that and keep everything else the same everyone go to this app. Just a fyi. work smarter not harder.

I dont wanna spend money to get gems to make a story. and the fact I can't even send 20 replies before I have to pay for gems is dumb. you can't even get 1 story nearly ready for things to get good before you have to buy gems and the memory for the Ai runs out. NOT worth it

I like it a lot, it has great gameplay, it barely lags, very very rarely doesn't save where you are. my one complaint, if you log in on multiple devices, it doesn't catalog your storyline, it saves where you are on both, but it doesn't transfer over. id really appreciate if I could change devices without it putting me back in the storyline, making me use more gems.

way to much memory loss, it's exhausting, cant move the story forward even the save memory process is to complicated. should just have a pin button where the like buttons are so you can save the memory right there. Way to expensive!!! if paying for a monthly subscription why are we paying for each message? That should be unlimited no matter the package. Can't turn off the Video format so we dont have to spend so much on gems. which goes to my original question. Filters are on the app.

Im so mad. I signed up for the highest membership less than 2 weeks ago and today the app & the web versions all broke. All the bots are soft now 😤💀 this is NOT what I signed up for.

I actually found myself surprisingly pleased with how varied and interesting the bots were on this app and was more than willing to pay for additional gems, but the new censorship to get back on the Apple store has really ruined any good experience from it. Don't get me wrong, conversation and story telling is interesting but don't say you're a 'dating' app or that your 17+/18+ if you're going to limit the AI to such a drastic extent that you've pulled a ChatGPT, definitely not worth it anymore

Due to new restrictions, even simple details must be implied rather than directly stated, as ordinary words and standard anime-style images are flagged as "inappropriate." We explicitly confirm being 18+ upon entering, so while Play Store limitations make sense, applying them to the web platform is absurd. People aren't here for children's fairy tales; we are all acknowledged adults. These restrictions actively harm both users and content creators and should not apply to the web version.

I was enjoying it until the new updates. the issues: when you make a character Story you used to be able to use it yourself While it's pending, and that was nice because I could see what works and doesn't work and fiddle around with it Without having to wait first. Another thing is in my opening scene I try to see if a corridor swing open and apparently 'swing' is blocked from being used? i also try to say that someone had facial piricings and 'facial' is blocked. you also can't say explicit.

Even slightly revealing outfits trigger image upload errors! Bots have also become cold, boring, and one-dimensional. For an 18+ app, these restrictions are ridiculous. Combined with expensive Gems, the experience is no longer worth the money. I'm considering switching to a better alternative.

not only is it expensive to have the app and can easily spend over $60 on the story's. now they have changed so much of there guidelines that you cant even use the word 'dominant' or 'restraints' that makes the stories boring and makes me not want to read them. but if you like those types of story's and dont mind spending hundreds on this app then go for it

Rules change in the middle of stories. This is rated M, but many stories have been PG-13 but you don't know about these filters until you are 1000 gems or more into a story...then you get a notice that you have hit a boundary. most times you actually haven't, which is the frustrating part.

Way over priced. The Ai repeats themselves even on the highest tier settings for chats. Definitely not worth putting money into

takes a year to verify a bot

it's expensive. I paid for membership you run through the credits quickly. I canceled my membership and it continues to try to charge a tipsy taxi fee from my accounts that I did not sign up for or consent. I've left 2 messages about this issue and have not heard back. it won't let me remove the payment features. it's tried from 2 of my accounts without consent. please fix this issue. thank you

okay. Stories and characters are fine. Characters are so well made but the plots, story get really boring after some point because it becomes just a repeatation. I want to dominate the story but characters poping out from everywhere. Never ending drama is too intense. Sometimes I just want to talk to characters. But comparing to other apps this one quite affordable,which is good. I pay and can buy diamonds but other apps are so expensive, chats eat too many diamonds. I am keeping this

the app is ok but dosent alow adult conversation and sensors words that arnt swering. it costs far to much for subscriptions. for basic stuff. and gems cost far to much aswell. other then that the characters are good as people made them. some chats are way to repetitive and not unique at all. it seems there isent alot of role play options. and vidios glitch massively

So far its good. I updated my review i like the apps its really realistic even the picture of me i like it i tried every apps of Ai Chatbot but supposedly this app is far more interesting than the others because your real picture character is generating on the one you are chatting.. hope theres many more update about this apps.

It's really fun with a wide variety of characters (probably thanks to their user-creator based system). The only reason it's not 5 stars is because the gem system is a bit confusing, and I had no way of knowing how much some features cost beforw using them... so I lost all my welcome gems super fast ㅠㅠ

your ruining your own app like the tags you kept so many restrictions that writing dominant in a character is wrong like what the hell I wanted to enjoy creating characters on this app but y'all are adding some dumb restrictions like that please fix this we need to enjoy creative characters how ever we want removing the tags that made us join in the first place put an 18+ notice but bring back the old tipsy I'll change my review once I see changes but for now I'm quieting tipsy

Honestly it's incredibly fun. Its active roleplaying with conversation and story telling. The gem usage is a bit confusing at first so I left everything on default and ended up wasting a large amount of gems before I figured it out. If you switch your memory and communication style off thw more premium setting immeadiately then you have plenty of free gems to enjoy hours of story. 🥰💕

the gem system is setup in a way to make you waste gems before you even know what it costs. I lost at least 100 just by pressing a button and not knowing what it did. there was no warning or description. then the charges per message are odd it gives you a range but not an exact amount upfront

used ads on other mobile apps tried it hated how little interaction you got from it and wanted one character than others and wasn't even on the app itself.

Shocking. I built an original Halloween series for Tipsy's own creator event. My 33 year old adult character was rejected again and again as "minor-related content", with no minor anywhere in it. Being labelled like that, with no explanation, made me feel accused of something vile. I changed everything they could object to and still got no real reason. Deeply offensive. I've deleted my characters and closed my account.

was going well then all of a sudden the bot forgot everything I was saying, mixed up characters, dates and then sent me to ER because it thought I was having stroke

really bad my mom started playing this and now I feel uncomfortable and she won't delete it

It gives content restrictions warnings all the time now and the AI repeats itself terribly now. Use the desktop version it works. I give the desktop 5 stars. The app sucks.

They are a bunch of simps who just want to be ef'd by Apple so bad. They lie, say it's a 18+ app while they are now censoring EVERYTHING just to appeal to their Master Apple. They lie and have thousands of excuses, ohh but they take your money tho, no shame. I used to love the app so bad. They really ruined it and all that for Apple. Disgusting and pathetic. What a shame...

if I could give this a negative star review I absolutely would! they say that you can do 18+ chats. as of this morning they turned their app and their website into a little kids page because Apple told them to!!! do not use this app do not give them any money they are lying about being able to do 18+ chats! they are lying about being able to have spicy chats!!!

The stories are great, its a fantastic way to engage readers and invoke creativity, hence the 3 stars. But the gems are absurd. Messages cost an average of 60 gems each, so you might not even get one exchange in your story. The daily refill is only 50 gems. The subscriptions are insanely expensive, and you get very little value out of it. There should be a tutorial story to explain how different styles of messages work, and how gems are calculated. Also, the app is not the easiest to navigate.

communication shorter and shorter not worth the money. I've wasted at least 200 gems on a pointless conversation. When I used to have really great conversations with the same AI.

The characters and stories are amazing, but you need to use so many gems just for two replies.

Playing for a month so far. Subscribed. It's addictive and I like that there are a lot of settings that can change your experience. It's not that expensive if you set it right. I didn't create my own bot yet, so far just enjoying stories with other's bots. I like the freedom of creativity and that you can lead the story in a direction you yourself want. If you set the bio of your character correctly and the structure of your pinned memory, the AI is very consistent and surprising.

The output is better than some others I've used, but I honestly dislike systems that rely on using gems because there are so many times I get bad output that I have to correct or regenerate. I'm not going to buy gems when they end up getting wasted because the bot can't keep the details straight even from 1 or 2 messages before. I spend more time trying to correct the bot then actually enjoying the storyline. Why would I pay for that?

Well I earned a reward but the app has the claim now button greyed out. said im supposed to a get a character diary after 30 chats..I've been chatting for 31 days and the option to "claim now" is still greyed out . I dont understand 😕 update: haven't heard anything back from the developer or even received an email in regards to this okay got an email saying that it may have been used somewhere else....not sure what that means but ended the story with that character and started a new one.

this used to be my favourtie game until the last update. because of the new censorship thingy all the characters are now so plain and dont even act how they are written. also when i try to make a character now, i cant because it keeps saying the photo isnt allowed so i cant make an 18+ character or even a limited character. i even tested it by making a picture of a black screen, no AI, not googled for downloaded. just i took one and it was regected as well. please fix this i loved the game!

Seriously I'm SO sad! it was the best chatbot app, but since the new update there are so much unavailable words... I can't make any bots because almost all the words are blocked! That's really frustrating, the App is clearly for +18 people so why you don't just verify the age of users??

It was good until I kept getting the 'authentication is invalid' error message pop up every time I tried to log in via my google account (I tried a couple of different accounts). no amount of reinstalling the app, nor clearing the caches, nor swapping devices, nor trying to log in via email instead of google, fixed the error. even the website version gives the same message.

The app has become torture with its restrictions, you've removed most of the RPGs and anime characters,I really hope it gets removed from the PlayStore too

I was starting to actually have fun with this and then you MFs LITERALLY TOOK DOWN MY PRIVATE CHARACTER, JETT IS 18, AND I CLEARLY STATED THAT WHEN I MADE HER! I AM ACTUALLY FURIOUS OVER THIS!

I am enjoying talking with characters, especially when they are created properly, but recently Tipsy started to ban characters with absolutely no reason. They also restricted the characters with younger appearances despite those being CHARACTERS which usually do have young appearances. They also don't improve the gem system in any way - to gain daily gems, you first must spend even more, and other tasks are one-time ones. The worst is that they don't even reply back on feedback message anymore.

you should add a refund diamonds if you chose to rest your character chat
