they have made this new feature that auto sends a request for someone's nudes (private pics) if you like them. what a way to make me look like a creep. my account was part of a trial of new features with no way to op out as far as thier support was concerned. fair to say im off the app as i dont agree with this and ran into issues with folk id like to connect with because of it. and of course the reply to this is to lie and to contact support which ive already done and they can't do anything....

this app is absolutely horrible. way too many pay walls. You can't message people, view who liked you, or search for like-minded people with paying subscription fees. likes are basically useless because the app forces profiles to like you when the actual person never sent a like or message, which causes a lot of confusion and issues. if I could rate this app zero stars I would.

Subscriptions are a scam. you pay like £50 for gold+ and all that really does os let you see who liked you, you're still restricted to whatever the daily like limit is, only difference is each day you get to apply something that gives you unlimited likes for 15 minutes, but don't worry on top of your £50 scam you can pay even more if you want to send more likes

I like the app, for the most part, but there are a lot of fake accounts, and the app itself is using users accounts to send fake messages and likes, mostly inactive accounts but active ones also. It's desperate, needy and disturbing. And for new users, sign up using your email. They restrict access to everything that is otherwise free if you sign up any other way.

The good: I have no bugs, the apps works well. The bad: 1) Useless and annoying AI feature. 2) Cis heterosexual men identifying as intersex because they don't know what it means. 3) Tons of fake profiles. 4) Crazy expensive if you want all features. With all the fake profiles, horrible AI feature, and people who are only looking to hookup to get their fetish satisfied, no thank you. Wouldn't spend money on this app. If I want to hookup, I can go elsewhere, but that's not why I'm on taimi.

Every little thing is behind a paywall (worse than any other dating app). It feels like you're trying to take advantage of the community. Not only that but all messages that you have allowed to come though without being blurred were all bots. There's no real connections here, just a greedy tech company looking to monetize the gays! P.S. they won't even let me delete my account 🙄 The apps response to this review is just straight up lies lmao even more reason for you not to download the app!!!

If you don't get the subscription you can only do 350 actions a day, like sending people likes and swiping away from people, you know, the whole basis of a dating app, so if you swipe too many people away you can't match with anyone for the day. The people on it are either old men looking for hookups, couples looking for a third, or people who are not very good looking unfortunately which I guess isn't their fault. Match quality sucks, this app sucks, the UI is confusing. Don't waste your time

Even though I turned off the "first move" option, the app essentially turned my account into a bot, liking people without permission, matching me with people without my permission, and even sending messages like "Hey sexy" to people I have NEVER seen before. It even matches me with people 40+ when I'm 18 and set my age range to the lowest it can be. It sucks, there are many great people on here, but the app is forcing me to do things I don't want to.

If your trans or intersex.. be prepared to be objectified by men even though you have your profile set to only interested in women, I have in my profile Im Lesbian, yet misogynistic men still think they can try it on. it's annoying the app allows likes that you don't want. what's even more annoying is the constant paywalls just to like somebody that already likes you, the app will claim you will see them eventually, by that point the cutie that liked you has already moved on.

Possibly the worst dating/matching app in existence. You're constantly harrased by blurred profiles of people that have supposedly paid to send you "Like messages" but the like messages are blurred, so people are paying to send LITERALLY NOTHING because unless the person on the other end is also a paid subscriber, they can't see whats been said, utterly pointless. NEVER PAY FOR THIS APP I paid for a week of this app and A MAJORITY of features were STILL pay-walled from me. Seems run by shoddy ai

Honestly, the AI feature is incredibly frustrating. It matches me with up to 80 people, sends chat requests, replies to messages I never sent and requests private photos I never asked for—even when I’m not on the app. The age filter is pointless; I’m 19–20 yet get shown people in their 50s. Only ~200 profiles daily, and many are locked “Daily Picks” or “Admirers.” The confusing chats make it worse. I want control, not constant subscription pressure. It’s exhausting and honestly off-putting.

I find it odd once I paid 34$ for it it stopped going off and I got no activity. also I feel like it's not right that I don't have anything unlimited and have to wait for it to reload. Its not worth paying for it,save your money. DO NOT PAY FOR THIS APP YOU WILL REGRET IT,I HATE THIS APP SO MUCH IM DELETING IT EVEN THO I PAID FOR A MONTH! Tried again and even worse than a while ago. Paid member but not I cant even swipe on half the people because theyre all curated picks you need to pay extra for. Still have the dumb activity counter, still showing me people outside my preferences and increasing my search range. minimum distance is STILL 30 miles. STOP WITH THE AUTOMATIC MESSAGES, everyone hates it, they dont work, its destroying the app. Why even pay for this? They insist on making the experience worse for no reason.

It was okay at the start but now there are AI likes so I get so many false matches that there is no real point anymore, no one checks their likes or responds to messages. The developer has responded that they do not use AI in likes, but they do have a setting that is hard to find and is pushed constantly to send "automatic likes" to "my type" which sounds alot like AI or just mass spam to me.

A real cesspool compared to what it was. Ai messages flood the platform, liking profiles is behind paywalls, and sometimes if you're too popular your own profile gets paywalled so mostly paid subscribers message you. The flood of AI messages makes keeping track of real conversations impossible. this used to be an awesome dating, networking, and social media app. now it's all trans chasers and AI slop. avoid at all costs!

Taimi has some lovely people on it, but the app is a total mess. Not only do the ads literally encourage chasers, but the notifications and set-up are maddening. It has a section called admirers. What do you think that is? Logically, people who liked you, right? Nope. It's literally just people who LOOKED at your profile. Then it'll send you notifications like "Tom slowed down". that literally just means that when swiping, that person momentarily slowed down. Why on earth would I need to know?

This is a terrible app do not install. Swiping five on Left or right Lock you out for twenty four hours or more It keeps erasing my profile? that led to some confusing conversations. I was under the impression people had read my profiles before they could messaged me . But no It deleted my bio but kept my profile for some reason? not a good app.

Greedy went Scam artist. you pay for extra actions thinking you'll get more matches?! wrong they instead paywall off the people they deem "desirable" and you have no option to pay more to like them!!! if you don't and want to skip them it uses your paid for actions You therefore paid for nothing refund requested and approved. now they added people that visited your profile that you can't like or message unless you're paying it is essentially useless now

Literally locked out,the biometrics don't work and the only other option is to login in with my phone number but it doesn't accept my phone number even though I've already verified it in the app. I've been locked out for 2 days now but am still getting notifications with no way to do anything about them.

everything. this app is a cash grab. you have to pay for every little interaction. And no you can't chat with matches. They match your profile just to keep your attention but the match never responds and if someone messaged first you have to pay to respond.

please get rid of the stupid admirers stuff.. everybody in my area who has liked me & within 100 ml radius is locked behind the stupid paywall. Honestly... it took a few minutes to find their phone number then a few more to convinc the AI bot to speak to a real person. Once I got a real human it was like night and day. The real person explained a d answered every question in detail and saved me from resigning my account I think they are the best once you get to interact with a real person.

it's a an interesting app to be sure met a few people through there and although in still looking for that special someone at the very least taimi has connected me with the kind of people i was looking for. At times it feels as though the app has a bit of and identity crisis and all the features don't always work the way you would expect or want them to such as the age filter or boost but none for of these sort of apps are perfect at the end of the day.

The app is terrible in many ways, as predatory. Any time a reply is written on a review, it's either a direct lie, avoids what's being said, or directs you to support, which will literally never do anything despite telling you to. There were several occasions on which I reported users and was told actions have been taken against them, only to be forcefully matched with them two days later.

the recent AI features are a major downgrade to forming real connections. automatically sends messages (First Move) for you and is on for all users automatically. On the bright side I've had more messages sent to me in the last month than all the years I've been on here put together. downside not one of those mean anything, when the actual person didnt send them. I'm going to give Taimi a little while to get thier stuff together, but I will be gone if this isn't fixed soon.

Just tried it at the recommendation of a friend - the AI feature turns everyone's account into a bot so you'll spend most of your time on here filtering through garbage. Completely unusable as-is right now. (I understand you can turn this feature off and have done it on my account, but that doesn't stop accounts that do have it on from flooding your inbox)

the app used to be pretty good a year back. then they added an ai model, and added a feature to randomly text pick up lines to people you liked... that's deceiving in some kind of way. it makes it super hard to see who actually is interested in you. never mind the fact it will double or even TRIPLE text someone that you hadn't got a response from for a while. highly embarrassing btw. too many times have I responded a text just for someone to say "I never sent that". not using this app till fixed

The app sends messages for people that aren't sending them! Garbage!. No one even reads or replies to messages. You could send 1000 and get nothing. Don't waste your money.. I've paid for it for over a month and either no one is active or they make you pay so much to read and respond no one pays for it. Maybe if you took the ability to post your social media handles on your profile people would actually pay for it and use it.

Taimi is actually a trash app now. Used to be a bit more user friendly before they made literally everything, including even matching with people, a sales product. I cannot even functionally utilise the app and no, I don't want to subscribe. Use ads like every other business, I don't care, just don't make your own tool a redundant one (which it currently is). Give it two stars because there is very minimal usability.

Taimi uses an ai to send random DM's to people in my DM's and everyone else is experiencing the same thing. I've turned it off several times but they refuse to keep it off and are forcing me to DM random people. don't use this app. AI is evil. they also won't let you screenshot the instances as well cause they want to hide it rather then reveal it

Too much to pay for to have exclusive access and features on the app. And a lot of the guys on here block people so easily it is ridiculous. I have yet to meet with a single guy on here...I've been on here for at least a year. Many guys have zero patience they block you for just not replying in a few seconds.

As a trans-man (fully transitioned) I have received multiple likes from men identifying as straight and Cis. The fact that I'm being shown to straight cis men at all (presumably because filtering who you see is paid) is concerning. I have had the app for awhile, but saw an ad for it today saying you can meet trans people on it, so presumably this app was made for chasers, or at the very least that's the demographic it's unintentional catering to.

Stop automatically adjusting the filter!!! I set it that way for a reason!!! I don't want to see barely legal teenagers on my feed you weirdos!!! Don't say I can "change it at any time" because it will automatically adjust immediately after I set the filter. Also it's super weird that I have to skip certain profiles that show up because they're "curated for me" or "visited me", and I can only like them if I pay for the app.

This app gets worse with every update, the ai auto likes and messages people that don't match your criteria and continues to do so when toggled off. I wake up every morning having 'liked' and 'messaged'a dozen people. support is in denial about the issues, this app has mind of its own and it makes it impossible to connect with anyone.

Chaser central... Do not download this app!!! This app used to be a wonderful place for the LGBTQ community, a safe place where queer and transgender people could be themselves and meet others. Now it's just full of bots, fake profiles and chasers, soo many chasers. In fact, 90% of the profiles on here fall under one of the prior. It's sad but I unfortunately the devs just don't care about their users.

is there a reason I am liking other profiles and sending them messages without pressing any buttons? seeing tons of profiles that said I liked them and they are genuinely people I would have zero interest in. not to mention messages I never sent. No: this was default as I never set this on the account before, and this fresh install I also did not choose this option. Perhaps the latest patch made it not default. I can't impart how awful this even is for existing. no one wants this.

Most dating apps come with pay walls and restrictions but this app truly takes the cake for the worst of the worst. the app does NOT show you your dating preferences. I keep getting liked by people old enough to be my parents which is not what I signed up for. app matches you with people you didn't like, even if they're out of your preference so no way to avoid unwanted people. private album just allows people to send unsolicited nudes :/

Anybody who views your profile, Anybody they think you might be really into, anybody who likes you and they think will be a good match you will not be able to swipe to match with without a subscription witch by the way has 3 different tiers so you can't even unlock what should be part of the base app by buying the cheapest one. The creators of this app do not care about you or your preferences they care about your money.

Dropping the score again from my previous rating a year ago. App has gone massively downhill since I last used it. I don't even know how you're supposed to match with anyone now because if they mix in accounts that have looked at your profile while swiping, it'll say "visited you" under their name and the like button will prompt you to pay 9.99 for premium. it's like they're going "do you like this person? Like, $9.99 like??" idk if I like them $9.99 like because theyre likely inactive anyway!

they have pop ups all the time to upgrade your account with out my knowledge or even wanting an upgrade I was charged 20 dollars a week for 3 weeks 60 bucks total because they have the horrible redirect popups that don't close without a fight and they refused to refund me anything after a bit of a fight they agreed to only investigate the latest subscription so within 3 weeks without my knowledge I was charged 60 dollars and they said it was impossible to be refunded I got 18 dollars back ripoff

constantly expands my filters and there's no way to tell it to stop. I'm 38. I'm not interested in being shown people that are only 23. Gross. Also I don't want to be forced to check everyone's location in my map app because apparently I'm not allowed to prefer people I'd only have to drive an hour or less to hang out with

charges for everything, thought I'd pay for the top tier gold option for a month (£41) but you've still got to pay to send likes, disgusting. barely anyone uses it or moreover they're very limited in what they can do. Everything is behind a paywall. Will use my month and never come back. Edit they replied to me and told me it's free to send likes etc. but it's literally telling me I have to pay for "actions" just to send a like even though I've paid for the highest subscription.

new review; as I've observed way more problems this app has: 1. tricks you into adding random people 2. curates a selection of people that are "your type" (mostly anyone who isn't a fat old cis straight man) and force you to pay money to talk to them 3. advertises themselves in a way that results in 80% of the app is chasers 4. will show profiles outside of your gender preference if they happen to be trans?? 5. age preferences don't work.

All the one-star reviews are completely accurate. There are other apps/sites that offer more and require less money. This app, if you don't want to wait hours after searching your daily alloted profiles-100, $70. I don't need an A.I. generated " Sorry to hear..." I'll just delete this app and find a better, cheaper one.

used to be a 3 star but it keeps getting worse. it forces you to pick from an age range of *7* years and will adjust your filters without asking you. if you're not paying for the app, it's not even an option to ask them not to change your filters without asking. for a queer based app, it is **extremely** predatory for young queer people. BRING BACK FUNCTION FILTERS!!! I don't want to see people 5+ years older than me! bad app with a terrible interface and a greed issues.

I like this app for the most part, but I don't like that it keeps adjusting my age filter so it can "show me more profiles" (as it shows me a profile that fit my original parameters), bc frankly I'd much rather it stop showing me profiles than keep seeing the profiles of nearly 30 year old people while I'm not even 20 yet

Pay-to-win app basically, EVERYTHING is made to steal the money. From 10 profiles i can talk with only two because others are behind payment. What is the point of dating app when you cant talk with anyone but those few profiles.

extremely expensive subscription based system, i suspect a large amount of bot accounts or inactive user accounts being used to make the app seem more active, i have matched with at least 10 people who messaged me first and none of them have responded or even seen messages.

idk who's bright idea it was to group 10 people together and tell me they are tailored to my taste but that is a horrible feature I either like them all or reject them all without seeing and that's just a horrible option, also this app is highly annoying with how many notifications I get from it, i don't need a notification every time someone likes me, is active, or the app just telling me to get on, I can see why when I actually text someone that they have notifications for this app turned off

It's good for hookups, but not so much for finding someone interested in long term dating. The app doesn't listen to your age preferences, and from what I've seen there's no location preference.

Deserves 1 star for now, downloaded the app and only managed to send about 5 likes before it stops you from even viewing profiles for 24 hours and asking for payment which is a ridiculous price per week, the amount of people you can like each day need to be no less than triple the amount that it is now. Then your review will be responded to with an ai chatbot that doesn't even address the issues raised, this app is deliberately more limiting than other dating apps, deleting and leaving 1 star.

I am not sure HOW this app gets rated so high. Unless you're ok with endless badgering to upgrade behind a paywall of every useful feature. Then, when you DO upgrade, you question the "matches" you're getting because nobody messages you back after a match, even the same day. - even the same hour. So, it almost seems like, even if you pay, you're getting a bunch of fake people and wasting your time. Class-action over fake profiles and wasted money, anyone?

1 star is too much. Every feature is paid, can't connect to anyone in any way as a free profile. Agressive monetization in every aspect. Grossly overpriced subscriptions. >> Absolutely useless app, you can't even preview users (and bait messages seem to be from bots since they're not in the local area's language.....).

Not the worst, but like all dating apps, it's made terrible by the profit motive. This app does a lot of things by default that you wouldn't expect or necessarily want, first and foremost whenever you match with someone it automatically sends message that you didn't write, and the texting menus always suggests responses. This can easily amount to what I call 2 bots chat. It would be a much better app if you could entirely opt out of pre-generated messages both sending and receiving them.

This is awful. Why is this app automatically matching me with people that I've never even liked? And then sending automatic messages? And automatically changing my preferred age range? Imagine how confused I was when I opened the app and saw that I had apparently "matched" with someone much older than me, and I only strictly date those that are around my age! Not to mention how money-hungry this app is with certain features that are only available through subscriptions. Taimi is ridiculous.

The free version is ok. They automatically change filters to show you people outside of your preferred age range I'm not interested in 20 years younger or older. distance to far no way to change. the paid version is no different than the free version. wait "admirers" turn into visitors after you upgrade. Periodically you'll click no and they'll say missed a date. but they don't show up in your likes? curated for you? money grab. Save your money stay with the free version if you must

App seems to be broken for me. Only shows people in other states no matter where filter is set. clearing catch and reinstall didn't help. Not sure what the app is trying to achieve, helping me find connections, or grabbing data to sell. without working filters, I'm just looking at pictures of random people. Neat feature, I guess.

I used to love this app but it very quickly turned into a cash grab where even the people in your area who like you turn into a complicated mess to actually talk to. ive scrolled through their 20 swipes a day for plenty of time trying to actually speak to the people who seem interested in me but it's all smoke and mirrors. months of waiting for someone in my town to show up gets annoying when the app shows me they're nearby but I have to pay 25 dollars to talk to them. I'd rather be single.

This used to be my fav dating app, but the "curated profiles" absolutely ruined it. They take the profiles you're most likely to match with & put the like button behind a pay wall. Even while regularly browsing, if you run into any of these profiles you either have to pay to like them, or unlike them and never see the profile again. It's one thing to offer to pay to "get to the front of the line" but it's actual trash when there's a private line made just for you, & unaccessable unless you pay

Tbh I can't really compliment this app on much, apart from the decent looking UI. Unfortunately, there seems to be an issue where the app texts users on its own, even when you never liked them. I also hate how, if someone viewed you/liked you, you have to pay to like them back. It's also worth noting that the subscriptions are exorbitant, apart from the lowest tier (because it gets you basically nothing).

I've stuck with the app for about two years, and I've deleted it today. I've seen a lot of features come and go. I'm not a particularly active user, and when I took a break from the app, I noticed an influx of notifications? they had been using my profile to send spam messages to hundreds of random people. They are currently refusing to delete my data, and when i asked they just forced me to log out.

To be honest I'm not a fan of the ai addition. The app is also very slow. I'm being notified of recieving messages when in fact I've gotten nothing. Its good to meet people that have similar interests. please stop auto adjusting my age preferences, I have them set like that for a reason.

Not impressed at all. You have to pay for a subscription service just to do simple things like see who likes your profile, who visits your profile, & they limit how many messages you can see in your inbox as well. And the subscription is not even reasonably priced! It has the potential to be a great app/dating service, but they want you to pay to find a mate or dates. And that price is steep.

I would give this app 0 stars if I could. This app is basically unusable, you can only like or dislike people for a certain amount of times without a subscription, and the people that most match your filters and preferences are behind a pay wall. You can scroll through people for days and the ones that you can even view or read their profile are people outside of all the selected filters, your dating preferences, gender, age, and distance is treated as a suggestion. You're better off without it.

I want to love this app. It has so many good features that other apps dont have but it is constantly automatically messaging profiles that I've never even looked at. It's lead to multiple odd interactions with people I know irl and really don't wish to be interacting with. Also, people who are wildly out of the age range I set my preferences to which is extra awkward.

The app feels like it's buzzing with activity, and I get new likes and messages frequently. But when I send a reply I very rarely get anything back. I think a lot of the likes may come from the AI features or from users doing the "like your type" feature. Another issue is that users may not trust their notifications, as the app does send a lot of notifications and will say you've been messaged when you haven't. Lastly maybe users don't fall off the algorithm when they go inactive?

Shows people that I don't want to see, way too young for comfort after I have set it up to not show. Plus the app is set up to try and get you to subscribe as most feature buttons on screen are restricted. Edit: to be clear, it uses push notifications to suggest people outside my age range. Even if they are not showing up in Discovery. It also charges you to try and send messages.

It doesn't give you free access at all, everything you do here needs subscription. They should at least offer free trial for 3 or 7 days, just to test the whole functionality of the app. And if they find it interesting then they can subscribe to a plan. and one thing you can't even see who likes you, all the profile were blur out, core service free?, what is the use of it, if you can't see who likes you. App is neat but service is poor. There's a lot of good dating app out there than this one.

Horrible. The app is practically unusable unless you pay for the most expensive subscription—and even then. I paid for the Gold subscription for a week and ended up with only limited features. You can’t “like” the profiles that are supposedly “curated” for you without paying. The number of “likes” you can give per day is limited, and you can’t send messages without a match or without paying. If only the prices were affordable… but they’re far from it.

Apps that push AI features are usually pretty bad, but this is so much worse than you think it would be. The way they implement the AI makes it so notifications and your message inbox are completely meaningless. There are real people on this app, but staying in contact with them is near impossible because of these very poorly thought out AI add-ons. Of course it's selling your data, and maybe we're training their AI for something else? No way this app is the actual product. Don't download.

I've been using this app for 6 years & it has steadily become worse. I've only ever had 2 irl meets. The interface is more is a mess, it's more difficult to find quality/local matches, keeps making less feats available. my real problem is I can't opt out of receiving AI messages. I might uninstall because of it. ruins the entire experience. you get excited only to find out it was an AI and most messages are copies they all say the same few messages.

The age and distance preferences are treated as suggestions rather than filters, with the app showing you profiles both younger and older than your preference and much farther away. Also bombards you with notifications, some of which are just straight up lies. You can get three or four separate notifications saying that someone has messaged you when they have not

Very pricey, but i can confirm that i havent stumbled across any fake profiles as of yet. the free version is minimalistic but is still functional as a dateing app, i just wish there was a way to restrict the age of the profiles that can see your profile. because as a 20 year old. i DO NOT want to be getting DMs from people a decade older than me or worse old enough to be my parent. and this is a current issue. other than that its a pretty decent dating or chatting app, just wish it was cheaper.

problem list: gives a ton of the wrong gender or people that claim trans who clearly aren't even with the filters checked repeatedly. greysout anyone nearby that you match with unless you pay, only matches with those far enough away you can't meet. people seem to ghost you after awhile, but really the messages aren't getting through anymore. I have several I was talking to, I got their social quickly and we could only chat out of the app after a few days. the app was blocking our conversations

tried the app out, waayyyyy too much is only available behind a subscription and even then there's 3 levels. The curated profiles need a sub, even if your "admirer" likes you, you can't like them back unless you get a higher level sub, limited number of profile views (not just like but views) and I've had the same profile pop up multiple times counting against the daily views. Not impressed at all

My favorite queer dating app but... thats not saying much. I like the app but theres definitely way too many in app purchase options, constantly send notifications about people who you cant interact with unless you pay. Its glitchy and for some reason its matching me with people all over the country when I specify within 70 miles. Other than those gripes the app is semi user friendly and its good to at least meet people and get a conversation going.

Search is broken. You can search for local people around your age, but the app shows mostly people in other states, that are too young or old. This isn't useful, but they say it's on purpose for some reason. Get rid of the "curated" profiles you can't match without paying. And don't hide people who like you behind a paywall. Let people match and charge after.

The app was good for many years, on par with hinge good, but that was two years ago, they've stripped alot of good things entirely, put others behind a paywall, then added a currency for the features you were already paying for, similarly to tinder, without telling anyone yesterday they changed how to find matches without changing the UI. you can set a preference to only view profiles within 50 miles, but it will show you profiles out of state or country despite setting a limit. Anyway I'm Done

STOP CHANGING MY FILTERS!!!!! Useless app I've been on it 8 years have met no one. The app shows you people 100 miles away and changes your filters after 3 people who are a little closer to you. Not to mention the app has a rating of 4.1 but every review that sounds like its from a real person is negative, pretty damn fishy to me. if you're looking to actually meet people this isn't the app for you.

I rarely feel compelled to leave a review, but this app felt like the worst dating app I've tried. Adding "curated picks" to the standard selection of profiles so that when you are swiping youre suddenly getting pushed to subscribe, BUT if you dont subscribe you cant continue. This alone felt shady. Second, the filter sucks and kept going beyond the range. and 3 it was adding "matches" that i never matched with. and this was MULTIPLE times. I tried it for a day and the experience sucked.

I redownloaded this app to try again and there's a major problem! The notifications are CRAZY!! It was so bad it was to where my phone told me on average it drops 33 notifications per day! So I turned off my notifications. Big mistake because after 2 weeks of turning off notifications, I opened the app and saw I had SEVERAL messages from random people I did not match with and it automatically sent messages to them! A message was sent to my stalker and I no longer feel safe on here. Stay away.

used to be pretty great, but like all apps the greed set in. they tried to make it to where you had to pay to send photos and the like, but rolled that back when everyone freaked out. the biggest problem is you have to pay for matches now. THE ONE FEATURE THAT SHOULD BE FREE ON EVERY DATING APP IS MATCHING. Make people pay to unblur likes, to hide their location, to send instant chats, and all that, but don't make me pay for matches, I will delete the app first. this isn't about diamond either.

I have been using this app for years to make friends and have met partners on here aswell. This app is officially dead, there are so many automated messages that it is unusable. To be clear, the app isn't overrun with bots, Taimi itself is sending mass messages out through user accounts to "promote matches". But it is dozens of messages a day, many from inactive accounts. Do NOT download the app in this state.

Awful. You can't keep the filters from extending when you run out of people, so you're forced to swipe through people youre not interested in, and said filters dont even work. Theres so many people who send inappropriate photos without consent. You can't even take screenshots in the app, so if you match with someone in the app and meet irl, you dont have a chance to take screenshots of their messages and profile if you get into danger. This app protects those people from that. Do better, really.

As many other people said, the paywall is terrible. I know Taimi furiously claims "iT's FrEe!1!1!1!" in their review responses, but it's only free to an extent. Apparently there are "tons"of blurred profiles that can only be viewed if I pay for a subscription. I have like 1 single unblurred like and 15 blurred likes. also, an ability to block sexualities from searches would be nice. I'm tired of seeing lesbians that are into trans men. as a trans man, I find that incredibly transphobic.

Bot problem is horrific (within literally 1 minute of creating my profile, I had 8 to 10 generic heyyyy and flirty messages). The main way to browse people ignores your distance preferences, meaning if you want something close, you have to scroll fully down every profile to see their area and end up skipping 9 out of 10 of them because they're in different states or countries. I feel like I'm wading through a hundred bots just to get to one real person. profile character limit is really bad.

Bro. The notifications. Every notification was automatically enabled, and I was getting what felt like hundreds a day. I'm talking easily dozens per hour, all of which were boiled down to "hey, come back!" until I finally turned them all off only to immediately receive another notification. Another thing - they tried paywalling people's locations and photos! They only brought them back because of the backlash they received about it. I don't know why I'm still on this app

main complaints: 1. The only dating app I have ever used that kills your music when you open it. 2. major pay-to-use pitfalls 3. frequent false-notifications. many matches "send messages" that don't even exist. It's extremely frustrating when you're waiting to hear back from someone and you get these bogus notifications. then you open the app and there's nothing there.

Most profiles are text less/minimal description, which is typical for dating app but- would have rated higher if it didn't put obviously decent/good profiles (multiple pics + a decent amount of text description) behind the "curated for you" paywall. The like button turns into a diamond which when clicked asks you to pay. I haven't found a way around it. If there is a way around it, it should be on the website. I don't want to have to reach out to customer service for this.

Way too expensive for a subscription. Even if you buy the silver or gold subscription you still get only a certain amount of likes and swipes and still limited on what you can or can't see. Plus the app will send likes on your behalf. I'd be receiving matches with people I know for a fact I've never sent a like to. Anyone you apparently do match with won't even reply. Overall this app is a scam.

Seems like a decent app, but that paywall is egregious! Gatekeeps what it calls "curated" profile - which seem to be top local profiles - unless you pay, even when they're are no other local matches. Annoyingly, when there are no local matches, it keeps auto expanding the distance and age range. There is no way to turn this feature off. Sometimes sends notifications that someone is sending messages, but conversations don't show any new messages.

Works fine without premium subscriptions, however, there shouldn't be an AI tool that sends likes out for you if you can't unmatch with someone, and if you match with someone but then unlike them they shouldn't reappear in your "People" tab. Remove the button that sends a dry "Hey" to everyone they've matched with. If private card requests are sent, both people should have to tap a button agreeing to give access, preventing anyone from getting access to private cards and not sharing their own.

the pop-ups don't nest in the notification bar so you get a mile of notifications every day. You have to pay to see who liked you. You have to pay to send photos to each other. And the filters don't stop people from way outside age/location range from messaging you. And when you match with someone it auto sends random greetings that can be inappropriate.

curated profiles are not swipeable, you have to pay to talk to them, the people you do match with don't respond after the first few messages. You can meet someone close but odds are if your not in a major city it will not happen. Once your out of options it auto adjusts and makes you like people who are out of state. Its a decent app but it's way too pricey. Don't expect to make friends with out spending. everyone seems like fake pornstars promoting x

the app seems good so far. UI is pretty clean, easy to understand. it would be nice to be able to actually filter. what I don't like is the over-the-top subscription tiers. I got silver, then when I tried liking a "curated" profile, I had to upgrade to Gold, then when I tried sending an "instant chat" there was a Gold+ subscription... Dating apps really need to understand that they aren't EA. There doesn't need to be more than one or two subscriptions.

Edit: going from 2 to 1. The app will not allow you to change your registered phone number, it will not allow you to disable features which degrade the user experience (such as auto extending match distance and age range parameters without consent), or engages in highly predatory monetization with minimal features/benefits for any package, and utilizes a system which prevents you from liking people that may actually be your type through a "curated for you" a month subscription gets 3 likes for.

Warning to trans women. I'll, first of, say that the app itself isn't bad; I am constantly getting unblurred matches and have had a ton of likes and messages. however, there in lies the problem. I am a trans woman, and have been sexualized as an object of a kink by 99% of those likes and messages. Every one is either experimenting or have a disturbingly deep kink for trans women. Frankly a bit disturbed every time I get a notification from this app and am remembering why I deleted it before.
