I like the concept. So 𝘧𝘢𝘳, anyway. It isn't too bad, sending out letters to help others who in turn help you in some way is great. It helps clear your head while helping others. I'm just hoping this app isn't just inevitable micro-transaction trash, premium account bs, or AI slop.

It doesn't tell you it costs money and now even though I haven't agreed to anything I am terrified they will use my information to automatically charge me money I can't afford 😱. There should be a NO I DON'T WANT TO PAY OPTION THAT MAKES CLEAR I DON'T WANT YOU TO TAKE MY MONEY! SO I KNOW YOU WON'T! THIS IS AWFUL! I have only kept this app so if they take money from my account I can dispute it because that isn't fair. I AM ON A VERY TIGHT BUDGET AND SHOULD NOT BE TRAPPED LIKE THIS!

I leave replies on letters. Yet after some time they disappear and I have to leave new replies again...Its so irritating since i left like long letters for it to be gone...

I thought this was a genuine app but after reading 2-3 letters I noticed how it started to sound like ai and also like some of those AITA Reddit stories ,until my 5th letter that said the date wrong so that kinda confirmed my suspicions so... guys don't download this app every letter sent to you is probably ai. And yes I know my name is fake account it's just to avoid getting spam emails! :D

Getting an account going was a struggle. The email verification step wouldn't slide into view and required me to click just a few pixels to type into. Took 5 or 6 tries to get it right. Later I realized the window doesn't resize or otherwise when typing letters so I just couldn't type them beyond a certain point because I couldn't see my text any more. I really like the concept and I hope they get the app quality in order.

When people vent here, they are incredibly vulnerable. Forcing a "Friends List" into the app puts unfair emotional pressure on the person trying to help. If I decline a friend request from someone who is hurting, it feels like a harsh rejection—and that's an awful position to put a helpful person in. Maybe if you have an option to turn it off for the people who don't want to deal with it.

i love it and the concept but its really hard to write in the app because the scroll... like... doesnt scroll down? i dont know how to explain it. my keyboard just continues to lay over what im writing and it makes it impossible for me to write without copy-pasting from my notes app, which is something ive had to opt into doing, which makes it so i dont actually let go of the thoughts im writing down

I'll return. ***Returned *** After having the access to the ability to plainly express my feelings and receive human support and responses,I like the app however I don't think there should be any financial requirements to be able to use it. expressing one's. feelings and emotions privately shouldn't need a price... this app could actually save lives if there weren't a price attached.

This would be worth 5 stars but I am so damn annoyed by the restrictions in the free version, I mean I understand there need to be some restrictions. but the pricing for the premium version is extremely high, why don't you keep it reasonable for a mental health support app? it is extremely expensive and you pay weekly. me and many others just can't afford that and then also the free version is extremely limited, yes you can use it even daily but just one letter a day is very little etc

I decided to remove the app as soon as I saw there was a fee. Things like this should not come with a price . life is already hard enough and expensive enough .

it is a very good concept to have others as well as yourself voice problems that usually are hard to and for those who have been through similar to he'd some advice and help those in need without worry of exposing yourself.

I personally love this app. this app has the possibility to change people's lives in so many different ways I hope that they free up some of the basic stuff of this app that way it gives people that can't really afford something like this an opportunity to experience how great it is..

don't like the trial

a nice app, but you barely get responses from people like at all, so either your vent gets 10 replies or none at all, and usually its none, so I wouldn't really recommend if your looking for answers asap

UPDATE: when you delete your account, it's not actually deleted. Not only could I see the information, but it didn't even ask. I just got logged back in. I went through all the steps to delete my accounts. I wanted to love it. I went into it naive with optimism. Safety practices are almost nonexistent. Blocking and reporting don't seem to do anything. I still got a letter from someone I blocked and got a letter from myself after I deleted my account and tried to start over. Be safe out there..

Honestly, it was worth it to purchase. I feel like I can genuinely get stuff off my chest and 9/10, I get very helpful and positive feedback. It’s been huge in really letting me process stuff and getting real feedback, not from friends/family who it feels like tell you what you want to hear. I'd buy it all over again

Sure a great place to dump everything on your chest but don't ever expect someone to respond like you're hoping for. Just another dead end for those of us that don't know where else to turn.

I can't even get past the login. it asks for my email and sends me a code, but it the continue button doesn't work so I can't even enter the code.

I think that the idea is great. I enjoy giving advice and helping people gain a different perspective on things. I think paying $32 a month to help people is kind of crazy though. the free trial gives anyone who truly enjoys helping others the time to almost feel morally obligated to pay the fee.

I would give this app zero stars if I could, its just made to take advantage of people who should be speaking with a therapist by charging them $8 a week

WOULD BE A 5 STAR BUT isn't working on this phone (A24 Samsung. cheap $100 phone.) which sucks because I actively used this app on my iPhone. highly recommend for anyone who needs a friend, a vent place, or loves being there for people. I bought the yearly pass. I know its kinda up there in price (to me) and I usually NEVER pay for apps but for a whole year its so worth what you get. for someone who struggles to keep friends and maintain a social life, this app has saved me more than once.

The app basically forces you into paying for premium by running ads that refuse to let you skip/close them. Keep getting stuck by the whiteout survival ad that keeps pushing me to the Play store. It's likely this app was optimized for IOS not android and as such will not allow you to "collect reward"/progress after watching ads. Also the "add friend" button is directly above the type to text option when replying to a comment so you could slip and send a friend request that you can't cancel.

This is truly one of the best apps, I have ever used. it's increased my mental stability. and it's nice to be able to help other people. I enjoy everything about it. my only issue. why is it 7.99 a week? A WEEK? I understand it's a small app, small community. and a small team that made this but holy. almost 400 dollars a year to use it without any limits? that's insanity. 4/5 stars. would recommend to anyone. that's my only issue.

Such a great idea for people to connect and help one another but are we talking to AI? That should be made very clear. And the worst part they CHARGE! Why not have ads to support the app. I find it goes against the theme of "people helping people" on both counts. uninstalled!

I appreciate when developers fully admit they are classist by engineering the app to refresh every time someone is forced to leave to go get their code from their email. So basically, these developers are saying if you don't own a phone and a computer or at least a tablet we don't want you using our platform. I can't give you a proper review of the app because I can't get in. They won't let me! Hundreds of thousands of apps are completely unusable, because this premise, and this is another.

Get your LLM "Mental Health" chatbot off of this app for christs sake. Chatbots have only exacerbated the loneliness epidemic. People use them in place of real healthy methods of coping and treat them as placeholders for real friends. It preys on people with mental health issues and it costs money to use more than threeish times?? Avoid this app until they remove this predatory waste of space. AI girlfriends have poked holes in people's ability to socialize hard enough.

I am very disgusted of an app that is supposed to help people cope, as questions and seek general help on things has a price tag every week. its gross... If there was zero price tag I'm very sure your platform would blow up unanimously. Find another way to pay the bills. otherwise a good app.

why you want a email for a app

3 days free and 8 bucks a week you have to pay to give advice and to help other people. plus you dont even get any letter for the first 24 hours. I was so excited to sit each night with my husband as a couple and give advice on mental health, venting, and need advice as someone with a passion for psychology and aiding others in healing. having to pay to do that just killed my mood. cool...

buggy app, could not get past birth date screen.

app is broken, can't complete user registration because the app won't let me enter my birth date. doesn't matter where I touch to enter my birthday doesn't allow me to select the field and enter info. tried to register three times each time had to select a different username because it wouldn't allow me to register with the same username as I originally did each time I had the same issue trying to enter the birth date

I am never receiving an email about the code I've tried three or four different times then reading other reviews I'm not willing to pay $8 a week

at first I thought this was going to be some dead app where nobody actually helps each other out. I turned out to have a pretty good experience with it soo far. I was able to share knowledge and wisdom to others with legit real-life issues they were going through. All while I was able to vent out freely what was bothering me. it's been a good habit to connect with others on a personal level every night before bed.

I cant even get into the app. No matter what username I try to register, it says it's taken. I could put in the most ridiculous, random combo of letters and numbers, doesn't matter, it's "taken."

I only give it a 2 star for the fact of what the intentions of this app are, I think it's a magnificent idea for an app! But I created my account got on & wrote/posted 1 letter thing then tried to read some randoms that had been posted by other users & once I click on it I get booted out of the app completely every single time. it's a pretty good concept. but the app labs so bad at times it won't open. not sure if it's because it's the free version or not. and it just got an update. I've cleared the cache and forced stop several times.

The friend request button sits right above the respond to [a response] button. As a result I have inadvertently sent friend requests. I will rate higher once devs either relocate it or give me an option inside the app to "undo" a friend request. Otherwise I like it.

I love the concept, the monetization off others pain is a little weird. $7.99 a week to respond to other people pouring their hearts out. I subscribed, what I was met with. Was people using vulgar posts, to meet up for sex, other posts begging for money. So there's really no rules, or monitoring what's posted.

Notifications need tweaking and weekly payment is too high I'm not getting notifications every time someone messages, I have to open up our chat for the new ones to appear to make sure I don't miss them. also, $8 a week is too steep, I can see $8 a month, but at this pricing people could afford a therapy session in person instead. I agree with someone else, that it seems like taking advantage of people who need support. otherwise it's a beautiful app, and I've met some great people on it

won't scroll when writing, when trying to write a note, it will not scroll. When I comment, it will. Seems ok right now, but not scrolling unless it's in landscape mode is super annoying.

it's very nice. it's like a vent session and people respond. they talk about all different types of things and you get an opportunity to encourage or have someone feeling less alone. I think it's a lovely app.

i added my boyfriends card to my Google wallet after receiving his permission. this app went into my Google wallet even though it was set to not do that as if my primary card failed i specifically did not add a backup method so it wouldn't be able to charge me as i can never remember how to cancel a subscription on Google Play. now my boyfriend has a charge of almost 10 dollars that he did not need

Great app. I've found that helping others helps cheer me up myself. But I only just turned 18 meaning I only just gained access to this, and with everything I was dealing with, I could've really used an app like this. I think a teen version of this would be great, but it would have to have an "EQ test" that would act like a mental child lock, but ig you'd need a way to lock out adults huh 🤔

great app. after you get your 3 free messages for the day, you have to watch a video for more, or pay. which is fine, I like it...I just wish we got more messages than just the one extra per video

Absolutely love the idea of this app but there are people on here trying to take advantage of people in valuable situations. Talked to someone for a few days, maybe about 15 messages exchanged, opened up about a lot of stuff going on in my life and they tried to get me to buy them a car and send them $8k. So to the people using this app or thinking about trying this app, stay safe and be smart, don't fall for scams.

this is a great idea. I understand the need to make money off of it, not it's kind of silly to pay to add your 2 cents to people's notes. I see the potential for mental health benefits tho.

Your app has to be straight trash if it can't run normal. it's bull that I can't even fix a reply I originally was allowed to send. It's not an additional one, it's fixing one that was already sent. very neat little app when you enter, just try to skip the premium stuff. once your in, just enjoy yourself. the entire layout is cozy and straight forward. send and receive letters on various topics. it's not riddled with ads and only will roll ads if you want single use perks, such as, more letter to read, more letters to send, resending letters that didn't pick up well, and a small ad bar at the bottom. it's very respective of you and your personal info and everything is anonymous. 5/5.

I love that APP and the purpose it functions. I think a lot of people need this because at the end of the day we are all human and to talk to strangers that may have similar situations as you is extremely reassuring that you aren't alone. That being said, something like this should not be locked behind pay walls or subscriptions which is why I'm not eating it 5 stars.

can't figure out how to unsubscribe

While I do like this app im having some issues being able to use the "Write something" portion. I was able to send my first post but after that I am not able to post again. I click on it and I write something and click the "continue" button to be brought to the next page to add a tag and I click on a tag and it doesn't highlight the tag any and I cant move on from there. I would love if I could have some sort of help for this.

If I had known I'd have to pay or watch ads to delete my anonymous venting post.... I never would have done it. I've watched 4 ads in order to delete my post, but it hasn't been deleted. My only other option is to pay for an upgrade and I just think that's BS. You need to fix your app. Not to mention I never received a reply to my post and only had 2 views. What a disappointment.

Some really annoying bugs have been fixed after coming back to this, and I'm appreciative of that. One thing this desperately needs, though, is some notification customization options. Personally, I'd really only care to be notified by this app if I get a message, someone responds to my letter, or someone responds to their letter that I have responded to. People should be able to tweak the notification settings for the app to their preferences. It's improving, though!

I don't really leave reviews but honestly I felt I should this time. this app is amazing you leave an honest letter about whatever really and people will talk to you and provide advice. not only that but you receive letters as well to keep spreading the love and advice. If you sign up for the 3 day free trial of the "premium membership" you'll be charged $7.99 a week after, but if you toggle the free trial off, the membership is only $29.99 for an entire year... So, if you skip the free trial, you'll save $385 for a years membership. Otherwise, the free version is very limited and you're constantly prompted to sign up for the "free trial."

So, I love the app. however $8.00 a week, is in my opinion, taking advantage of people seeking support. I watch the videos, however if it was maybe $7.99 to 9.99 a month, I would for sure be a willing customer, but wanting to help or needing to help and being charged technically 32 a month, is absurd. as far as an app goes, it could use a few tweaks, but overall, love it

I Love this app, I've already made great connections and friends, however, there are some QOL adjustments I would love to see, whenever I click on a notification it doesn't take me directly to the letter, I have to find it myself, and I would love to see All un read letters at the top of the screen with a notification symbol, also I have to exit a letter, then go back to read new messages (refresh). For me if devs can either add or fix these, for me this app would be perfect, Mahalo.

What's the problem with all aps being paid? they have been created by Ai slop literally you have to pay for this app which can be created within mins? Yeah right

love the idea, and it's pretty well designed, and I don't even necessarily mind that it isn't free, but $7.99/week is crazy. I genuinely think this was made with good intentions, but it feels (a little bit) predatory.

This is simply not a free app. The first 3 messages or something are free but later on you need to subscribe.

great app for mental health, but I can no longer send out anymore letters out of nowhere

My experience so far has been great, but I just got signed out and can't get back in. I don't know what happened. I don't know what to do. Mind you, I am paying for the subscription, and every time I try to sign in, it keeps having me create a username and then says my username doesn't exist. I don't know how to get my account back or all my writings. I've already sent four emails with receipts email and username And yet I get the same response on here and that's to email. Trash customer support
